By Paul Albaugh: The state of politics in the Washington Swamp is in absolute disarray. The deceit, cover-ups, scandals and illegal activity amongst government officials both former and current really seem to be the norm these days. And while the Leftmedia scramble to find new stories to discredit President Donald Trump, the American public is becoming more disgusted by the actions of the people who are supposed to be serving us.
On Saturday, Trump tweeted out several statements accusing Barack liar-nObama of wiretapping Trump and his associates at some point during his presidential campaign. Of course, as we noted yesterday the Leftmedia were quick to jump all over Trump for presenting no evidence to support his wiretapping claim and for accusing a former president of doing something so egregious.
"Unsubstantiated," "baseless" and "no evidence" are the Leftmedia buzzwords to try and convince the American public that the liar-nObama administration did no wrong. Except he was citing that same Leftmedia. For instance, in January, The New York Times reported about an intelligence investigation into Trump. Was he wiretapped? We don't know.
Interestingly, the media slap these labels upon Trump with regard to wiretapping, yet the same media across a multitude of networks have no qualms about telling everyone that the Russians hacked the 2016 election, helped Trump get elected and that Trump welcomed their support. Without evidence.
Conveniently, it seems that every time Trump does something positive — such as give an impressive speech or hold to one of his campaign promises — the Leftmedia attempt to halt his momentum by bringing up Russian involvement with the election.
It's not only the media. Shortly after Trump's wiretapping tweets, FBI director James Comey on Sunday requested that the Justice Department publicly rebuke Trump's surveillance claims. It's strange that the head of the FBI would make such an extraordinary request to discredit the president — unless the wiretapping did occur and there were many people within the liar-nObama administration who knew about it.
Then again, with all Comey did to help liar-Hillary Clinton, maybe it's not so strange after all.
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper was asked during an interview about any wiretapping. Clapper stated, "To my knowledge" there was no wiretapping activity mounted against Trump or his campaign and that if the FBI had sought a FISA court order to wiretap the Trump campaign he would have known about it.
Then again, Clapper also initially falsely claimed the NSA had no program conducting widespread surveillance of all Americans.
liar-nObama denied through a spokesman any wiretapping against Trump. Nothing unusual with that, though — liar-nObama always denied any allegations of unlawful actions during his presidency.
Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida and Susan Collins of Maine, both of whom serve on the Intelligence Committee, were also asked if they had any knowledge of wiretapping being conducted on Trump. Both were unaware, and Collins noted that the Intelligence Committee would be looking into the issue as part of the investigation into Russian influence on the election.
Given liar-nObama's involvement with other numerous scandals and cover-ups during his presidency — the IRS scandal, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, to name a few — why should anyone, especially the media, immediately dismiss Trump's claims against liar-nObama? Even if he didn't "order the code red," as with the IRS targeting scandal, liar-nObama's minions knew the objective and didn't need direct orders.
University of Tennessee law professor Glenn Reynolds also points out that liar-nObama's administration was involved with wiretapping journalists and spying on Congress. Given that information, along with liar-nObama's blatant disregard for the Rule of Law, it's reasonable to surmise that he might not have taken "no" for an answer from the FISA court.
Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy, writing for National Review, explains:
First, as liar-nObama officials well know, under the FISA process, it is technically the FISA court that "orders" surveillance. And by statute, it is the Justice Department, not the White House, that represents the government in proceedings before the FISA court. So, the issue is not whether liar-nObama or some member of his White House staff "ordered" surveillance of Trump and his associates. The issues are (a) whether the liar-nObama Justice Department sought such surveillance authorization from the FISA court, and (b) whether, if the Justice Department did that, the White House was aware of or complicit in the decision to do so. Personally, given the explosive and controversial nature of the surveillance request we are talking about — an application to wiretap the presidential candidate of the opposition party, and some of his associates, during the heat of the presidential campaign, based on the allegation that the candidate and his associates were acting as Russian agents — it seems to me that there is less than zero chance that could have happened without consultation between the Justice Department and the White House.
And as talk radio host Mark Levin, a constitutional attorney and former chief of staff to Attorney General Edwin Meese III in the Ronald Reagan administration, put it, "The issue isn't whether the liar-nObama administration spied on the Trump campaign or transition of surrogates; the issue is the extent of it."
At this point, the two congressional Intelligence Committees need to conduct a thorough investigation and the entire intelligence community needs to get work and get to the bottom of all of this. Doing anything else would be a disservice to America. The trouble with both courses of action is that partisanship will steer things awry. Are there enough honest people in the Swamp to sort this out? We hate to be pessimistic, but don't count on it.

{wnd.com} ~ American intelligence agencies have growing evidence that the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorist group maintains a network of sleeper cells in the United States, according to a new report... Though Hezbollah has not conducted a major attack on U.S. soil, the group could decide to strike key American sites should U.S.-Iran relations deteriorate substantially, according to the Investigative Project on Terrorism. “Preparations to combat Islamist terrorism broadly should strongly consider the nuanced and growing Hezbollah threat to U.S. national security,” the report concludes. Hezbollah or “the Party of God” is based in southern Lebanon and has long served as Iran’s way of Islamizing a formerly Christian country while also stoking the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and periodically launching rockets into northern Israel...

{theresurgent.com} ~ The last four Presidential administrations have engaged in mass firings of United States Attorneys. The Bush Administration did it twice. In the five times that U.S. Attorneys have been removed... only twice did the media freak out and both times it was a coordinated freakout with leftwing activists. The first media freakout was when George W. Bush did it in his second term. He was not even removing Democrat appointees, but his own. The reason, contrary to the claims of leftwing hysterics, was that the administration was trying to let lower level political appointees build up some political resume experience toward the end of the Bush Administration. The administration freed up positions so other lawyers could move up the chain of command. But the media, led by leftwing talking points, was convinced the Bush Administration must have been doing something illegal and engaging in a cover up. Now, again, the left is freaking out and leading the media to freak out over Donald Trump demanding resignations of liar-nObama appointed US Attorneys. In fact, if we look back at the liar-Clinton, Bush, and liar-nObama Administrations, the media both expected and largely ignored the mass resignations because it happens with every administration...

The GOP “Repeal and Replace” Healthcare
Bloodbath Is Just Heating Up

{lidblog.com} ~ Two new interviews with GOP leaders show the dangerous position that Republicans find themselves in with the mess that is liar-nObamacare... Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) essentially offered the opposite answer to the very same question when asked about the possibility of passing the recently announced healthcare bill. Representative Ryan believes that if the GOP does not pass their bill to “fix” liar-nObamacare, they risk losing the House majority to Democrats in 2018. Senator Cotton is of a different opinion, arguing that if the GOP passes what he believes to be a terrible healthcare bill, they risk losing the House in 2018. Pass a simple, clean REPEAL bill that returns the healthcare industry to where it was before liar-nObamacare was enacted. Then pass a series of smaller bills speaking to the various problems that the healthcare industry was suffering back then. For example, once liar-nObamacare is repealed, the GOP should pass a bill allowing people to buy insurance across state lines...

{familysecuritymatters.org} ~ Last week, the Richland County Sheriff's Dept.'s (RCSD) Cold Case Unit solved a murder case that had baffled investigators here in South Carolina for 30 years, and it might never have been solved had it not been for DNA... In 1987, Patricia Ann Green - a 34-year-old woman - was shot to death and left in a roadside ditch in Sumter County near the main gate of Shaw Air Force Base. She was shot in the face at pointblank range. The motive for Green's gruesome killing? She was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and she had encountered the wrong man, a cold-blooded killer Phillip Johnson - today a 53-year-old inmate serving life-terms for four other murders - who was then on a killing spree. The Green murder is one of eleven out of 81 unsolved cases since 1960 that have been solved since 2000 by the RCSD's Cold Case Unit; a team of retired police investigators formed in 1997, a decade after Green was killed. Like many others, the key to solving this crime was the introduction of DNA evidence...

{theacru.org} ~ Examining the pedigree of groups helps us understand why they act the way they do today... The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) purports to uphold First Amendment freedoms for all Americans, but its seminal doctrines and selective choice of cases reveal something else altogether. The ACLU was founded in 1920 by leftwing activists, including socialists Norman Thomas and Crystal Eastman, lesbian social and peace activist, and Nobel Peace Prize winner Jane Addams, then-radical jurist Felix Frankfurter and communist Roger Baldwin. Frontpagemag.com, founded by former leftist David Horowitz, often strips bare the liberal front groups and exposes their radical nature. Here are some excerpts from a March 6, 2017 article by Daniel Greenfield that shed some light on the ACLU’s lineage:...  http://www.theacru.org/the-aclus-radical-roots/

{wnd.com} ~ There once was a convention among American presidents wherein chief executives refrained from disparaging their predecessors, even if there was known enmity between them; this pertained to immediate predecessors in particular. This sort of criticism was considered gauche, if nothing else, and it just wasn’t done.

That convention was retired the moment Barack Hussein liar-nObama took office in 2009. The first few years of his dismal excuse for a presidency consisted of innumerable instances of liar-nObama deflecting every challenge, cynical query, or deficiency on his part with blame for the administration of George W. Bush. liar-nObama’s “socialist mop” comment of October 2009 was one of his more notable complaints in this area.

Historically, former American presidents also refrained from establishing political infrastructures dedicated to sabotaging their successors and illicitly maintaining power.

Last week, President Donald Trump accused former President liar-nObama of wiretapping Trump Tower during the 2016 election season. Whether or not this actually occurred, it is certainly in keeping with the sort of machinations we’ve seen on the part of the liar-nObama cabal. During the 2016 campaign season, we saw operatives from both the liar-nObama camp and liar-Hillary Clinton’s campaign engage in all manner of disruptive activities aimed at delegitimizing Donald Trump, including tactics mirroring those used by German fascists and communists in the 1930s. In recent weeks, a “shadow government” consisting of liar-nObama surrogates who have worked to the detriment of the Trump administration has come to dominate discussions in alternative media venues.

In a sense, it has been almost amusing to hear Democratic lawmakers and prominent liberals flood press venues over the last month with calls for Trump’s impeachment and cries against totalitarianism considering their lack of concern for the abject criminality, serial treason and war crimes committed by the president they sustained for eight years. In context however, their histrionics and those of the establishment press in its support of this propaganda ought not be a complete surprise given the manifest evil of the players involved and the fact that progressives have been at this game for 100 years.

Yet the stark contrast between the hard-nosed businessman who played fair and won and those pampered socialist elites who caused the damage the businessman received a mandate to fix remains.

There once was another convention among American presidents wherein chief executives refrained from prosecuting the actions taken by their predecessors whilst in office, whether minor misfeasance or suspected high crimes and misdemeanors. Arguably, there have been outgoing administrations worthy of having their actions and policies scrutinized and perhaps even criminally prosecuted, but between the arduous work involved, the appearance of pettiness and the specter of all outgoing administrations potentially facing the intense legal inquiry of incoming administrations, it’s something that just wasn’t done.

Perhaps it is time for the Trump administration to re-evaluate this convention. If the aforementioned criminality, treason and other crimes committed by the liar-nObama administration aren’t enough, one could argue that the direct orchestrated hostilities against the Trump administration – for which there are prosecutable statutes – is more than sufficient justification for a strong response, if not outright retaliation.

In getting to the bottom of this unfortunate wiretapping issue as well as the program of contrived hostilities against his administration, President Trump might appoint a Special Prosecutor to look into these as well as other activities in which liar-nObama, his surrogates and support organizations were engaged since he took office in 2009. Such an individual would certainly have his hands full for the balance of Trump’s presidency, particularly if his mandate was to investigate issues like the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal and former Attorney General Eric Holder’s associated contempt of Congress charge; the trillion-dollar stimulus scam and money laundering to the benefit of unions, far-left and Islamist organizations; the militarization of government agencies such as the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservative nonprofits at the same time liar-nObama’s own terrorist-connected brother had his nonprofit application personally fast-tracked for approval by none other than IRS official Lois Lerner; the unconstitutional aspects of liar-nObamacare and the shady political machinations attendant to passing the health-care law; the harassment of and domestic spying on journalists and private citizens for which there is documented evidence; the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. compound at Benghazi, Libya, for which the liar-nObama administration spun a wholly fictitious cover-up when evidence suggested that the entire event may have been either orchestrated or sanctioned by the liar-nObama White House; clandestine U.S. involvement in the civil war in Ukraine; U.S. involvement in the rise of the terrorist group ISIS and the facilitation of Islamist aggression in the Middle East theater; NSA spying on American citizens and our allies; the VA scandal; the super-shady Iran nuclear deal and ransom payment; the GSA scandal; taxpayer billions gifted to Solyndra and other green energy failures; and finally, the issue of Barack liar-nObama’s identity and eligibility to serve as president, and measures that were taken to obscure related facts from the American people.

Yes, I know that this would be unprecedented, as well as opening that nasty can of worms called Attempting to Destroy the Legacy of America’s Historic First Black President, but I think that Trump is tough enough and clever enough to pull it off. Given his administrative character to date, I believe the ensuing revelations of the scope of liar-nObama’s crimes would provide sufficient justification to the American people for pursuing this course of action.
