Schiff Dismisses DACA Outreach
As Good For Trump – By Angering His Base?

{rickwells.us} ~ Rep Adam Schiff (D-CA) isn’t known for his joviality or much of anything else other than his dedication to the globalist Democrat agenda, which, in its current configuration finds him assigned as the point man for the Russia, Russia, Russia witch hunt... Retweeting a meme is beneath the office of the President in any case, in the opinion of Schiff, and he had nothing positive to say for the golf shot into the back of liar-Hillary Clinton that the President tweeted out on this day. The equally fun-loving George Stephanopoulos found it to be “alarming,” as we might expect. He’s got a lot of money invested in Mrs. liar-Clinton. Schiff just called it juvenile, as he’s so much more mature than the rest of us. So much so that his head is still growing...  https://rickwells.us/schiff-dismisses-daca-outreach-as-good-for-trump-by-angering-his-base/

CIA Whistleblower Reveals How Shadow
Govt and Deep State Really Control USecnXVzE1oNcpRqFpiTkeLK_Wnh7oA459txEraNUuR6fvK3f0qEHCLEHVV2NTasDOQt5NspdGLzQUaZtp5FIZkoxz4AL3ArxQftPTkJws778Y3RUv48qxIb0S1RdsvWdzrm12Wmnl5qndlpbtCChpFx8JXIFK0dzei4f0WAnSKv9CeT4IoQ=s0-d-e1-ft#%3Ca%20rel%3Dnofollow%20href=?width=500
{rickwells.us} ~ Former CIA officer Kevin Shipp gave a speech at a public awareness event, held by GeoengineeringWatch.org in Northern California, on July 28th, 2017... He describes himself as coming “from the belly of the beast, the cult-like world of secrecy that operates behind what we see as our elected government.” He says he became a whistleblower after witnessing the CIA engage in unconstitutional and illegal activity outside of the Constitution, “which for me is everything now. I saw them violate international law with some of their operations and engage in some pretty serious human rights violations.” He says, “I don’t know about you all but I, as an American citizen, did not vote for any of those things. And our elected government didn’t vote for any of those things but they’re doing them.” He shifts the topic to the shadow government, and the deep state, pointing out they are two different entities in a vast $trillion matrix controlling our elected government outside of the Constitution, behind Washington DC.”...  https://rickwells.us/cia-whistleblower-shadow-govt-deep-state/

Is Iran Complying or Not?
America Deserves to Know the Truth

{patriotnewsdaily.com} ~ As part of President Barack liar-nObama’s nuclear agreement with Iran, the White House must certify to Congress every 90 days that our Islamic friends on the other side of the world are in compliance with the major terms of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action... If no such certification is made, the decision is kicked to Congress, who must then decide if it is appropriate to “snap back” sanctions that were lifted as part of the deal’s terms. What is the truth? Here’s the sticking point. There are two levels of “noncompliance.” There is what we might call “spiritual noncompliance,” which are those actions on Iran’s part that violate the “spirit” of the deal. There is no question at all that Iran is guilty of this. In their continued sponsorship of terrorism, their continued pursuit of ballistic missiles, and their ongoing threats of destruction towards Israel and the United States, they have done everything possible to retain their rogue global status without technically destroying the deal... http:/patriotnewsdaily.com/is-iran-complying-or-not-america-deserves-to-know-the-truth/

{rickwells.us} ~ In one of their familiar “repeat after me since you have trouble speaking for yourself” group speak sessions, Illegal squatter agitators turned their wrath on one of their own, Nancy Pulosi... She attempted to hold a news conference on Monday in the mental institution of San Francisco to promote her formulating deal with President Trump to give squatting, foreign born anchor babies citizenship. The open borders protesters were apparently angered that Pulosi was willing to accept border security measures as part of a compromise. They disrupted the event for more than thirty minutes with chants of “you’re a liar,” and other insults before she finally gave up trying...  https://rickwells.us/pelosi-angry-chanting-illegal-aliens/

Mad Maxine Waters

{freedomworks.org} ~ The fix is in. Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters has reinvented herself as a leading ethical watchdog of the Trump Administration... Surrounded by celebrities, she even received a standing ovation at the MTV Movie Awards while presenting the award for “Best Fight Against the System.” How quickly reputations can change. Let’s not forget, Rep. Maxine Waters is a five-time winner of the “Most Corrupt Member of Congress” designation from the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW). Waters successfully kept this title in 2017, and for good reason. Rep. Waters has a long resume of corruption and power abuse in Washington. At the height of the financial crisis, Rep. Waters was busted for pushing the Treasury Secretary to meet with a group of executives from black-owned banks. The group included OneUnited, a bank in which Waters’ husband owned stock and previously served on the board. Thanks to Rep. Waters, OneUnited exploited the meeting as an opportunity to push for a $50 million bailout...    http://www.freedomworks.org/content/mad-maxine-waters

POPULAR MISCONCEPTIONS
by Burt Prelutsky

Because I had the gall to suggest it was immoral for shopkeepers to take Rahm Emanuel’s admonition to never allow a crisis to go to waste by price-gouging during a natural disaster, a few readers took me to task for opposing free market capitalism.

It wasn’t my intention to align myself with Bernie Sanders and his ilk, but I simply don’t believe that it’s right to spike prices just because you can. Besides being immoral, I consider it a lousy business practice.

I know that the argument presented by the opposition was that by hiking the price, the seller could provide more people with the food, water, candles, blankets, flashlights, etc., that people need when there’s a hurricane, earthquake or tornado. I simply don’t see it that way. Unless the shop owner is setting an arbitrary limit on the number of items anyone can buy, there’s no reason to believe that wealthier people won’t buy out the store just in case the disaster lasts longer than predicted.

So far as I’m concerned, no matter how enthusiastic one might be about the benefits of capitalism, it’s no reason to justify some people taking advantage of other people’s desperation. For one thing, a disaster is comparable on a smaller scale to war. At such times, as people might recall from WWII, there were strict limits on the amount of meat, sugar, milk and gasoline, that civilians could purchase. Although it led in some unfortunate instances to a black market, the purpose of wartime rationing was to ensure that those in the armed forces fighting and dying on our behalf got what they needed.

It also involved the civilian population in the war effort; by having to sacrifice on the home front, it made every American feel he and she was playing an essential role in defeating the Axis powers. It helped turn a nation of strangers into members of the same team.

It also helped that even kids could contribute by collecting newspapers, bottles and tin cans, planting seeds in Victory Gardens and saving up to buy a War Bond.

It all took place over 70 years ago, and it was the last time that the overwhelming majority of Americans felt they were united in having a common purpose and a common goal. It was, as Dickens, wrote on an earlier occasion, the best of times, it was the worst of times.

A final argument against price-gouging during a natural disaster is that they don’t last forever, and people have long memories. If I were a shopkeeper who had hosed my customers during a hurricane, I certainly wouldn’t expect them to come flooding back, as it were, once the waters had receded.

● Far worse and more contemptible than the price-gouging was the looting we saw taking place in the wake of Hurricane Irma. Just as during Katrina, when we saw blacks, including New Orleans police officers, looting businesses, it was déjà vu all over again in Fort Lauderdale.

One might empathize if the looters had been stealing food and water, or even diapers and milk, for their families, but these swamp creatures were seen running out of a store, clutching cartons of shoes. It almost looked like an off-beat commercial for Air Jordans.

Judging by the looters in Ferguson, New Orleans and Fort Lauderdale, for some people the basic necessities of life consist of booze, cigarettes and over-priced sneakers.

One of my readers suggested that business owners consider boobytrapping their stores so that looters wading through ankle-deep water would be zapped with electricity. Inasmuch as I believe looters should be shot on sight, I had no problem with his plan on moral grounds. My only concern was that rescuers might be electrocuted. But I thought the solution would be to post signs alerting people to the danger. If folks ignored the warning because they were unable to read, I figured one could safely assume they were the looters.

● On the occasion of 9/11, we heard a lot about the war between Islam and the West that began 16 years earlier. I wondered how many other people reacted as I did, with disbelief. It was 38 years ago, after all, back in 1979, that Iran took hostages. Over the course of the next 22 years leading up to 9/11, the jihadists were constantly attacking our ships, our skyscrapers, our embassies and our Marine base in Lebanon.

The only surprise on 9/11 wasn’t that the Medieval creeps attacked us, but that they succeeded in bringing down the twin towers of the World Trade Center, after having failed in their previous attempt eight years earlier.

Even going back to 1979 doesn’t tell the full story because from the inception of the murderous cult known as Islam, way back in the 8th century, Islam has been at war with its betters. But no American president until Donald Trump seems to be aware of this fact or to recognize that there must be something wrong with people who continue to follow the only major faith that hasn’t gone through any sort of reformation.

In fact, one of the great tragedies of modern life is that the Islamic world hasn’t evolved over the past 1300 years; only their weaponry has.

● According to Chuck clown-Schumer and his chorus of party faithful, “Dreamers are the best that America has to offer.” When they say such stupid things, you really have to wonder how many millions of votes illegal aliens provide the Democrats. Otherwise, there is no explanation for such lunacy.

Likewise, when those on the Left applaud the Dreamers for serving in the military, are they aware that they’re lying or has nobody bothered to inform them that a scant 0.1% of the 800,000 Dreamers (800) are in uniform.

Well, inasmuch as their patriotism is the reason that the Democrats feel amnesty is called for, how about we compromise and keep the 800 and get rid of the other 799,200?

The biggest problem with liberals is that they engage in groupthink, seemingly unaware that actual thinking isn’t involved. All that’s called for is a Pavlovian response to certain words, such as “racist,” “fascist,” “white privilege,” “conservative,” “Republican,” “Trump,” “Islamophobic” and “sexist,” and an unnatural tolerance for mindless chanting.

● Liberals actually believe they are not only kinder and more compassionate than other people, but more intelligent.  While it’s true that a lot of them attend or have attended college, most of them are not involved in the disciplines where people actually have to know what they’re talking about, such as math, chemistry, engineering and physics. Instead, they flock to the BS courses, such as Journalism, Sociology, Black Studies, Hispanic Studies and Human Sexuality, where good grades are either predicated on parroting the professor’s leftist propaganda on tests or, in many cases, simply having a pulse.

● Intellectuals like to think that in case of nuclear war, they are the ones who need to be saved so that the human race can continue to not merely survive, but to thrive.

They’re mistaken, as they would know if they had ever read the play or seen any of the films based on “The Admirable Crichton.” Written in 1902, the comedy by J.M. Barrie tells the tale of a shipwrecked group of English aristocrats.

When the survivors wind up on a deserted island, it is not the nobs, accustomed as they are to giving orders, who run things; rather, it’s Crichton, a servant, who, it is soon discovered, is the only person in their midst capable of doing more than serving cocktails or merely guzzling them.

It is thanks to his efforts that the hoity-toities don’t starve or freeze to death. Of course, once they’re rescued, life reverts to form.

We have seen something along these lines unfold in Texas and Florida, where it’s been the first responders and the volunteers, like the members of the Cajun Navy, who drove a thousand miles with their boats in tow to rescue their fellow Americans in their hour of need.

Nobody could confuse them, or at least most of them, with intellectuals, but there are a lot of people who came to realize that when your survival and the survival of your loved ones is at stake, it’s better to have someone around who’s willing to put his life on the line to save yours than some dope with a PH. D who wants to read you a sonnet about the rising tide.
