Trump Calls "Fake News" On NBC News DHS Pardon Story!

Here's the skinny.

NBC decided to float an unconfirmed story that Trump promised a pardon to the acting DHS Secretary if he faced any legal issues in doing his job. The President denies that conversation ever took place.

The Border situation is out of control, the Port of entry can't process people fast enough because of the overrun of caravan asylum seekers running from Central America and forcing their way through Mexico. Let's not forget the detention centers are filled to the brims and border patrol authorities have reported nearly 100,000 are being apprehended a month and the DHS Secretary is gone.

President Trump threatened to shut down the border if Mexico won't fix the illegal immigration system and the Pentagon just transferred one billion to start funding the wall changes.

With all the hard work President Trump has been doing, he has to endure supposed news organizations printing unconfirmed stories for clicks and social media attacks? Late Friday evening, President Trump tweeted this out to set the record straight:

President Donald Trump told acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan last week to close the southern border and that he would pardon him if he faced any legal challenges, according to The New York Times.

The paper, citing three people briefed about the conversation, reported that they spoke when Trump visited the border town of Calexico, California, last week shortly before he named McAleenan acting homeland security secretary.

One of the officials briefed on the conversation said they did not know whether the president was joking. But Trump's remarks alarmed officials at the agency who were briefed on it, The Times said.

NBC News has not independently confirmed the report.

It's not just NBC News and the rest of the opposition media attacking Trump with false stories. Unfortunately, FOX News has been getting in on this Fake News nonsense too. Earlier this week Fox News published this unverified and subsequently debunked "report" on Trump saying George Washington should have named Mount Vernon after himself.

Let's not let Fox News off the hook for publishing the same anti-Trump lies as the left wing media.

Imagine any other Republican POTUS having to put up with the daily onslaught of lies and slander Trump gladly endures; they would have wilted months ago! Ole Jeb Bush would have been sucking his thumb under his desk begging for the torment to please stop! Yep, Trump is the guy that will finally destroy the Democratic party and also the leftist media; he will win in the end

SICK: Leprosy On The Rise In Los Angeles

Ahh, the joys of open borders and Democrat leadership.

California is not just a public toilet but now there is evidence that leprosy is on the rise in Los Angeles County.

Barack Obama changed US law in 2016 and allowed immigrants with blistering STDs and leprosy to migrate to the US.

Medscape reported:

Leprosy, also known as Hansen’s disease, is rarely seen in the United States, but cases continue to emerge in Los Angeles County, a new report says.

“Hansen’s disease still exists, and we need to educate medical students and physicians,” coauthor Dr. Maria Teresa Ochoa from Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, told Reuters Health by email.

Dr. Ochoa and colleagues identified 187 patients with the disease in a review of medical records from their leprosy clinic spanning 1973 to 2018. Most patients were Latino, originating from Mexico, and they experienced a median delay in diagnosis of more than three years, the team reports JAMA Dermatology, online August 7.

Multibacillary leprosy (MB) cases outnumbered paucibacillary leprosy (PB) cases by nearly eight to one (88.6% vs. 11.4%, respectively), and Latino patients were more likely than non-Latino patients to have MB, as were patients from Central or South America (versus other regions).

Most patients (80.7%) received multidrug therapy, and most (92.6%) received antibiotics for more than two years, especially if they had MB.

Only about half of patients (56.7%) had World Health Organization (WHO) grade 0 disability (no signs or symptoms suggestive of leprosy or disability) at the one-year follow-up, whereas 16.0% had grade 1 disability (loss of protective sensation) and 26.2% had grade 2 disability (visible deformity) at the last follow-up.

Among the patients who lost protective sensation, 87.7% (50/57) did not regain it following therapy.
