{ foxnews.com } ~ Concerns over the United States’ nuclear supply have prompted the State Department to renew sanctions waivers for companies working on Iran’s civilian nuclear program... according to senior U.S. officials. Failing to extend these waivers otherwise would expose a Russian nuclear company to American sanctions. Rosatom, a Russian state nuclear company, helps Iran operate its civilian nuclear program – but it also sells American power and medical companies a significant portion of their nuclear material. Sanctioning Rosatom could disrupt those supplies or raise prices in the U.S., senior officials said. The Trump administration will announce Thursday that it will renew those waivers for 60 days as officials say they’re seriously examining ways to eliminate them without risking the U.S. nuclear supply. President Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo are strongly pushing to eliminate the waivers as the “last vestige” of the Iran nuclear deal, said the officials. Rosatom supplies 20 percent of the enriched uranium the U.S. uses in its nuclear power reactors, according to The Nuclear Energy Institute, the nuclear industry’s trade association. Congressional Republicans opposed to the waiver extension maintained that Rosatom would comply if the administration revoked the waivers. Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Tom Cotton of Arkansas and Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., called on the administration “to rescind the remaining waivers in light of Iranian officials' definitive statements abandoning the deal,” especially as Iran is now openly violating the terms of the 2015 nuclear agreement. “Enough is enough," they said...   https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-administration-to-renew-iran-sanctions-waivers-amid-worries-over-us-nuclear-supply
Media Continues Dishonesty On Dershowitz’s Argument Against Impeachment

{ thefederalist.com } ~ Last week when it was announced that Alan Dershowitz was joining President Trump’s legal team, I warned in these pages that his complex argument in the alternative... in which he claims that even if proven what Democrats allege regarding Ukraine does not rise to the level of impeachment, was ripe for mischaracterization. The news media has not disappointed on that score. The first misunderstanding came just hours after the announcement of his role. Many in the news media erroneously claimed that Dershowitz, and by extension Trump’s legal team, were conceding wrongdoing, and that Republicans were moving the goalposts away from a “perfect call.” This was never true, but was too attractive a narrative for many to pass up.Yesterday the deceptive coverage of Dershowitz got even worse. What these breathless accounts of Dershowitz’s words have in common is just how wrong they are. Let’s look at the quote in question. He says, “If the president does something that he thinks will help him get elected, in the public interest, that cannot be the kind of quid pro quo that results in impeachment.” The context here matters a lot, and in fairness Dershowitz could have been a bit clearer. In fact, he did clarify his remarks in the evening session of senators’ questions. Prior to this selection of his statements, Dershowitz laid out three types of motives the president could have had for his actions. First, one purely and solely concerned with the national interest, second one in which his motive also includes his electoral interests, and third one in which personal gain is his only motivation. In the quote in question, he was talking directly about that second possibility, which he would later describe as “mixed motives.”...

Palestinians: Abbas Chooses Hamas
Over Peace with Israel

{ gatestoneinstitute.org } ~ US President Donald Trump's "Peace to Prosperity" plan for peace between Israel and the Palestinians offers hope to the two million Palestinians of the Gaza Strip... which has been ruled by Hamas for more than a decade. Instead of welcoming the plan, designed to give the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip a prosperous future, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has rejected and denounced it as the "deal of shame" and "slap of the century." Worse, Abbas has chosen to renew  his ties with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), the two Iranian-backed groups that are opposed to his policies and have regularly condemned his policies and decisions. Abbas, in other words, is acting not only against the interests of his people in the Gaza Strip, but also against himself by engaging the same groups that have long been seeking to undermine his rule. By rejecting Abbas Trump's plan, Abbas is denying the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip the chance of improving their living conditions. Hamas and Iran have no plans to boost the economy in the Gaza Strip. They also have no intention of creating jobs for thousands of unemployed Palestinians. The only plan Hamas, PIJ and their patrons in Tehran have is one that will bring more suffering and bloodshed to the Palestinians. That, however, does not seem to bother Abbas, who is now seeking to appease Hamas and PIJ. As the Peace to Prosperity plan accurately points out: "The people of Gaza have suffered for too long under the repressive rule of Hamas. They have been exploited as hostages and human shields, and bullied into submission. Hamas has failed the people of Gaza and has diverted money belonging to the Palestinians of Gaza, including funds provided by international donors, to attack the State of Israel, instead of using these funds to improve the lives of the people of Gaza. Under the leadership of Hamas, the residents of Gaza have suffered extreme poverty and deprivation. After years of no progress, the donor community is fatigued and reluctant to make additional investments so long as the governance structure in Gaza is run by terrorists who provoke confrontations that lead to more destruction and suffering."...  https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/15506/abbas-chooses-hamas-over-peace

{ americanthinker.com } ~ Islamic religious leaders at a local Texas mosque allege that former leaders stole key files and security camera footage... According to an announcement posted on December 31, 2019, the current leaders alleged former Shura council members deleted key files and transferred files from security camera footage. On December 31, 2019, the Islamic Center of Irving (ICI) announced on its website that two members of ICI’s outgoing Shura Council had “engaged in mass data deletions, downloading, copying of thousands of documents and emails.” The announcement notes that information about lawsuits and audio/video files of Congregants were transferred from ICI’s camera and security systems. According to the announcement, the mosque’s attempts to have the information returned have gone unanswered. Later the announcement was deleted from the ICI website. While information regarding the two  councils is not available on ICI’s website, ICI announced the results of the 2019 election and the current Shura Council on October 22, 2019. The announcement lists Hassan A. Hye as the current ICI president. In another announcement from October 21, 2016, Bayinnah Institute and superstar preacher Nouman Ali Khan presents himself as  the former president of the Islamic Center of Irving. This information is corroborated by a photo on ICI’s Facebook page of Nouman Ali Khan at a fundraiser in his capacity as ICI President in 2017. Khan first faced scrutiny in 2017 after screenshots went pubic showing him bribing, threatening and “sexting” with different women online. Khan defended his actions by stating in a Facebook post that he had been divorced for two years and that both his and the women’s actions were based on mutual consent. Muslim American writer and lawyer Rabia Chaudry then reported on Facebook that “multiple people have had Facebook posts removed and a number of people have had their Twitter accounts suspended for criticizing Bayinnah” and also speculated that possibly Khan had threatened to bury them in legal fees. There have been two criminal incidents that brought media coverage to ICI in the last year. In May 2019, a security guard at ICI, Syed Humzah Hashmi, was arrested for aggravated sexual assault of a child. According to the arrest warrant, the male victim was in third grade and attended the Islamic School of Irving. The alleged assaults allegedly included attempted sodomy and took place at the Islamic Center of Irving from August 2016 through June 2017. A few months later, the former imam of Islamic Center of Irving, Zia ul-Haq Sheikh. Imam Sheikh was ordered to pay $2.55 million to a woman identified as Jane Doe in the lawsuit alleging sexual exploitation...

Mark Alexander:  No fiction writer would plot this, because nobody would believe it, but…

As our editor Thomas Gallatin noted Monday, The New York Times published a leaked report about a soon-to-be-published book by former National Security Advisor John Bolton. The Times alleges that Bolton alleges that President Donald Trump mentioned to him that freezing aid to Ukraine was, in part, motivated by Trump’s interest in having Ukraine’s government investigate corruption suspicions regarding loose lips liar-Joe and Hunter Biden.

The report about Bolton’s allegation re-warms the Demos’ “quid pro quo” claim that Trump used his office to threaten withholding aid in order to undermine his 2020 opponent, loose lips liar-Joe Biden. That is the centerpiece of the Democrat impeachment case. However, there is nothing illegal or impeachable about a president using his office, and the promise of U.S. aid, to insist a third-world nation clear up longstanding questions of internal corruption — particularly if tied to the actions of a former vice president and Ukrainian grossly-excessive “compensation” for his son Hunter.

Recall that loose lips liar-Joe Biden bragged on the record about how, in 2015 as VP, he coerced Ukraine to fire a prosecutor — which even The New York Times acknowledged benefited Hunter Biden, who was a target for investigation. As loose lips liar-Biden recounted, if Ukrainian officials didn’t “take action against the state prosecutor” (fire him), “I said … ‘We’re not going to give you the billion dollars. … I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars.’ … Well, son of a b—h. He got fired.”

But there is somebody whose name did not appear in The New York Times revelation’s about Bolton’s book and the source of that information: Yevgeny Leonid Vindman.

For context, Democrat Party would have no contrived case against Trump (which is actually what impacts loose lips liar-Biden’s 2020 candidacy) if not for a Soviet Union-born U.S. Army officer, Alexander Semyonovich Vindman, on the National Security Council. We believe Vindman provided the transcript of the Trump-Zelensky call to impeachment manager Rep. scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff’s Demo deep-state operative, Eric Ciaramella, the so-called “whistleblower.” Ciaramella’s collusion with scumbag/liar-Schiff launched the impeachment charges.

A day after The Times’ deliberately-timed “blockbuster” revelation, it is now reported that the twin brother of Alexander Semyonovich Vindman is U.S. Army officer Yevgeny Leonid Vindman. That is significant because Yevgeny Vindman is responsible for National Security Council reviews of publications by current and former NSC officials — like, say, John Bolton. Bolton submitted the transcript of his book for NSC review in December, and the NSC has not responded to requests regarding Yevgeny Vindman’s access to that review copy, or the implication that he could be in the pipeline of Demo operatives who informed The New York Times about the Bolton allegations.

Are scumbag/liar-Schiff and his dullard Demos that stupid…?
