Politico's Leftmedia Hatchet Job on Ben Carson 
Here's a case study in Leftmedia charades: Find something a conservative black candidate said that can be twisted into something he did not say, and run with it as an exclusive, hoping most of your readers are too stupid to discern the difference.
On Friday, Politico posted a hit piece on the surging GOP presidential candidate entitled, "Ben Carson Admits Fabricating West Point Scholarship." The essence of the piece was that Politico conflated Carson's story in his book, "Gifted Hands," about being offered a scholarship to West Point by Gen. William Westmoreland with Carson claiming he applied or received an appointment to the academy.
In fact, Carson has always been clear that he neither applied nor received an appointment. "As overjoyed as I felt to be offered such a scholarship, I wasn’t really tempted," he wrote in his book. "The scholarship would have obligated me to spend four years in military service after I finished college, precluding my chances to go on to medical school. I knew my direction — I wanted to be a doctor, and nothing would divert me or stand in the way."
After taking heat from all quarters about the inaccuracy of this piece of yellow journalism, Politico's Kyle Cheney quietly corrected the title to read, "Carson claimed West Point 'scholarship' but never applied." In effect, Cheney admitted that the Politico story was the real fabrication.

Clinton Signed NDA, Didn't Send 'Top Secret' Info
It was almost certain that Hilly Clinton signed a Sensitive Compartmented Information Nondisclosure Agreement (NDA) when she took her post as secretary of state, but now, thanks to a Freedom of Information Act request, we know she signed one — a day after assuming office. The agreement states, "I have been advised that the unauthorized disclosure, unauthorized retention, or negligent handling of SCI by me could cause irreparable injury to the United States or be used to advantage by a foreign nation." Hundreds of classified emails have been found on her private and unsecured email server. Ignorance was never an excuse, but the discovery of the NDA seals the fact that she lied.
Meanwhile, however, one particular dispute between departments has been resolved in Clinton's favor. Director of National Intelligence James Clapper's office concluded that two of Clinton's emails did not contain "top secret" information. Previously, Intelligence Community Inspector General I. Charles McCullough III had determined that some of Clinton's email included "information classified up to TOP SECRET//SI/TK/NOFORN." So is Clapper's overruling a case of the nObama administration circling the wagons for the Democrat nominee? Either way, it matters little. Not only is the review ongoing, but Hilly Clinton's record of malfeasance is well established. SCOTUS to Hear Religious Liberty Challenges to nO'Care
In his weekly address Saturday, Barack nObama lobbied the American people to take advantage of this year's nObamaCare open enrollment period. "That's the whole point of health insurance," nObama said. "Peace of mind." Yes, nothing says peace of mind like spiking premium rates, shuttering co-ops and standing up to Caesar just so you can follow your religious beliefs. To the latter point, the Supreme Court agreed Thursday to hear seven cases regarding nObamaCare's contraception mandate. Among the organizations suing the government is Little Sisters of the Poor, a group of nuns who argue that the government's order to make its employees get contraception coverage from a third-party source — the government's suggested workaround — still compels the organization to involve itself in the business of abortion-inducing drugs. History is behind Little Sisters, as the Court ruled last year that Hobby Lobby, a privately owned business, did not have to provide health care coverage that violated the owners' religious beliefs. SCOTUS will probably hear the newest challenge to nObamaCare in early spring. By that time, it may be nObama who won't have "peace of mind" about the structural strength of his signature legislation. -The Patriot Post

nObama Buries the Keystone Pipeline for Good America has a president whose priority is clearly to accomplish his political agenda rather than furthering our nation’s sovereign interests and economic health. On Friday, Barack nObama announced his rejection of the Keystone XL pipeline’s construction — just in time for his appearance with his fellow ecofascists at the December climate conference in Paris. He marches on in his calculated effort to destroy the fossil fuel industry, with a direct byproduct of killing jobs and harming our economy.
Currently running on television is an advertisement for a gasoline company, Marathon Oil. The little-noticed song sung as a vehicle passes a highway sign reading “Independence” cheerfully begins by singing, “With a tank full of freedom...” No wonder nObama's opposed.
The new Democrats, led by radical-in-chief nObama, refuse to view reasonably priced energy as a necessary ingredient to individual prosperity and equal opportunity. Instead, the hardliner Left has declared war on anything except energy produced by solar, wind and possibly hydroelectric sources — even though current technology on those fronts is totally insufficient for our energy needs.
The opportunity to construct a 1,179-mile pipeline carrying Canadian shale oil to Gulf Coast refineries has been halted by a man and his militant ideologues. It will cost jobs and prevent wealth, all while the arguments nObama and his NeoCom cadres make are completely specious. -The Patriot Post

New Islamic State Document Shows U.S. Still In the Crosshairs
{John Rossomando} ~ A 64-page terrorist operations manual recently released by an Islamic State supporter on Twitter underscores concerns that the U.S. homeland remains firmly in the group's crosshairs... FBI Director James Comey told U.S. intelligence officials last month that the Bureau has approximately 900 ongoing Islamic State-related inquiries, most of which involve homegrown suspects. The manual, "Safety and Security guidelines for Lone Wolf Mujahideen," provides detailed instructions on successfully carrying out terror attacks. "I think the manual format gives them sort of a how-to process and therefore it's another indication of the danger we face in dealing with these self-motivated jihadists," said former FBI Associate Deputy Director Oliver "Buck" Revell. "I think it shows a great deal of critical analysis at the heart of the movement and that they are certainly knowledgeable, and they are not ignorant of our methodologies and even our technical capabilities, and we would be wise not to underestimate their capabilities.".
{Arnold Ahlert} ~ In a scathing column Fox News contributor Andrew Napolitano makes the convincing case that Hilly Clinton sold weapons to Libya in a direction violation of the U.N. arms embargo... and then lied about it under oath during her testimony before the House Select Committee on Benghazi Oct. 22. "To pursue her goal of a ‘democratic' government there, Clinton, along with nObama and a dozen or so members of Congress from both houses and both political parties, decided she should break the law by permitting U.S. arms dealers to violate the U.N. arms embargo and arm Libyan rebels whom she hoped would one day run the new government,” Napolitano explains. "So she exercised her authority as secretary of state to authorize the shipment of American-made arms to Qatar, a country beholden to the Muslim Brotherhood and friendly to the Libyan rebels and a country the U.S. had no business arming—unless the purpose of doing so was for the arms to be transferred to the rebels.” Memos recovered from the incinerated compound in Benghazi give great weight to the assertion. Globalists and UN Push Mandatory Biometric ID for All
{Alex Newman} ~ In an effort to bring every last person into the “system,” so to speak, governments, globalist forces, and the United Nations want to make sure that every human being on the planet has a government-issued identification card, complete with biometric data... Indeed, the recently approved UN “Sustainable Development Goals,” also known as “Agenda 2030,” explicitly calls for providing “legal identity” and “birth registration” for “all.” A parallel effort led by the same forces pushing global IDs, meanwhile, hopes to abolish cash and move toward a “cashless” global society in which every transaction can be tracked. And with funding from U.S. taxpayers and various tax-exempt foundations controlled by the establishment, both of those visions could become a reality in the not-too-distant future, at least if humanity does not push back..
Whistleblowers: Lawmakers Dismissed Abuse of VA Hospital
{Alana Goodman} ~ Medical workers at an Illinois VA hospital say two prominent lawmakers were aware that veterans were at risk due to rampant medical neglect at the facility... but neglected to seriously address the problems despite multiple requests. The employees at Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital said they were forced to go to the media with evidence of hospital negligence after they had a string of fruitless meetings with Rep. Tammy Duckworth (D., Ill.) and Sen. Dick Durbin (D., Ill.) in 2013 and 2014. Officials at the Hines VA reportedly kept sick patients waiting months for appointments and maintained yearlong backlogs of unread heart test evaluations, according to Dr. Lisa Nee and Germaine Clarno, two former employees. The hospital is now at the center of a national scandal over patient mistreatment at the VA, which has prompted a string of internal investigations and an ongoing Senate probe led by Sen. Appeals Court Blocks nObama on Immigration Executive Actions
{Morgan Chalfant} ~ A federal appeals court ruled Monday that President nObama cannot move forward with his executive actions on immigration that would allow up to 5 million illegal immigrants to remain in the United States... Politico reported that the 5th Circuit court in New Orleans concluded in a 2-1 decision that nObama and Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson did not have the legal authority for their actions. The executive actions, which nObama announced last November, have been blocked nationwide since a February ruling from U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Hanen. The 5th Circuit in March said it would hear the expedited appeal to the decision, which was argued in July. The timing of the ruling could allow the Supreme Court to take up the case this term. An anonymous White House official said Monday that the administration is reviewing the decision..
Agreement Undermines Key Clinton Defense of Personal Email Use
{Lachlan Markay} ~ A nondisclosure agreement signed by Hilly Clinton upon taking office as the nation’s chief diplomat undermines a key defense mounted by her and her allies against allegations that she mishandled classified information... Clinton has repeatedly defended her use of a private email address instead of an official State Department account by saying that the hundreds of emails containing classified information that were routed through her “homebrew” email server were not marked as classified when they were sent or received. However, a nondisclosure agreement signed by Clinton upon taking office stipulates that its prohibitions on the mishandling of such material applies to information that contains classified information but is not marked as such. “That agreement is one of two signed by Clinton and obtained by the Competitive Enterprise Institute through a request made under the Freedom of Information Act. The first four of these areas have effectively ceased to exist as unitary states, and are now partitioned de facto between warring entities, organised according to ethnic, sectarian or tribal loyalty. The Palestinian territories too are divided into areas controlled by the Islamist Hamas movement in Gaza and the Fatah-dominated Palestinian Authority (PA) in the West Bank. In this fractious landscape, powerful regional states are seeking to gain advantage, extend their own power, and diminish that of their rivals. The collapse of states has in turn brought with it the decline of the national identities that supposedly underlay them, and the growth of sectarian identification as a political factor. {foxnews.com} ~ Congress passed a $607 billion defense policy bill Tuesday that bans moving Guantanamo Bay detainees to the United States... something Barack nObama has been trying to do since he was sworn in as president. The Senate's 91-to-3 vote gave final legislative approval to the measure. The House overwhelmingly passed it last week, 370-58. nObama does not like the Guantanamo provisions, but so far has not threatened to veto it. FBI ‘Full-Blown’ Investigation’ into Hilly

The FBI’s recent moves suggest that its inquiry could have evolved from the preliminary fact-finding stage that the agency launches when it receives a credible referral, according to former FBI and DOJ officials inteviewed by POLITICO. “This sounds to me like it’s more than a preliminary inquiry; it sounds like a full-blown investigation,” said Tom Fuentes, former assistant director of the FBI. “When you have this amount of resources going into it ….
