Trump: We Don’t Need Immigrants
“On Welfare” Coming to America
by  In an interview with Breitbart from the Oval Office on Monday, President Donald Trump explained that while he has nothing against immigration as a concept... it was high time that the U.S. exerted some control over who was coming to this country and what they could contribute once here. “I don’t want to have anyone coming in that’s on welfare,” Trump said. “We have a problem, because we have politicians that are not strong, or they have bad intentions, or they want to get votes, because they think if they come in they’re going to vote Democrat, you know, for the most part.“They’ll take anybody into this country and we’re not allowing it, but because of the success of the country economically, some people say—I blame myself, but that’s a good blame not a bad blame—but because of the country’s success and you need workers here,” Trump continued. “You do need workers. You have homes in Houston, and they can’t get people to build the homes—and lots of other places. But because of what’s happened, and because of the people coming up, they want them to come in and they don’t care how they come in.” Trump noted that there was a big difference between immigrants coming in tor contribute and work for their paycheck and immigrants who had no intention of doing anything other than leeching off the system.“I don’t want people that need welfare,” Trump said. “I don’t like the idea of people coming in and going on welfare for 50 years, and that’s what they want to be able to do—and it’s no good.”...
Arab States Reject Call to Halt
Normalization with Israel
by  Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates earlier this month reportedly shot down an effort to curb Arab normalization with Israel... During a gathering of the Union of Arab Parliaments in Amman, Jordan, the speaker of Kuwait's National Assembly, and the oil-rich state's de facto ruler, Marzouq Al-Ghanim, proposed a closing resolution that called on the Arab world to walk back recent moves toward the Jewish state. According to the Hamas-affiliated Shehab  news agency via Middle East Monitor, the top Saudi representative at the gathering rejected Al-Ghanim's remarks regarding normalization with Israel, and demanded they be removed from any resolution resulting from the conference. The Egyptian and UAE representatives also reportedly spurned any hostile rhetoric targeting Israel. In a related story, Oman is said to have arrested a number of social media activists who criticized the Gulf state's cozying up to Israel in recent months...
Two Ways The Right Can Wrestle
Big Government Down To Size
by James Lucas
{} ~ The recent burst of leftist policy initiatives consume our current political discourse, with the apotheosis being the so-called Green New Deal... a compendium of projects to not only stop climate change, but to transfer full control of the entire economy to the leftist elites who run the Democratic Party and the permanent bureaucracy of our central government. It is not surprising that these elites look to the era of the Great Depression and World War II as models for their agenda except with every day meatless instead of one day a week. While the common people were then subject to deprivation, impoverishment, and rationing, they were also wholly subjugated to the dictates of an earlier leftist elite. Good times indeed.Ill-conceived, unfeasible, and highly deceitful, such sweeping leftist fantasies make conservatives leery of any grand program. However, we conservatives will never achieve our purported goals without our own grand programs. One hopes that they would be far better conceived, genuinely doable, and honestly presented. To borrow from Madison, we must match ambition with ambition. For more than 100 years, since the presidency of Woodrow Wilson, the central government has been expanding. Sometimes the pace slows, but the growth of central government power and concomitant debt has continued relentlessly for those hundred plus years...
The Truth about 'Supermajorities'
by Veronika Kyrylenko

{} ~ In a New York Times op-ed, "The Oppression of the Supermajority," Tim Wu argues that America is not polarized and divided, as "we are told," and that there are issues that get absolute support from all Americans...
like higher taxes on the rich, guaranteed paid maternity leave, net neutrality, and lower drug prices. But the execution of the will of the "supermajority" is being stolen. By whom is not explicitly clarified — although lobbyists are vaguely mentioned: "Entire categories of public policy options are effectively off-limits because of the combined influence of industry groups and donor interests." Although finger-pointing is masterfully avoided, it may be reasonably assumed from context that mostly Republican fat cats are to blame, since the issues listed above represent a typical leftist agenda. Wu then goes on a somewhat expected attack on President Trump, who "with a few exceptions, like trade, has seemed to lose interest in what the broader public wants." Indeed, there are major issues that unify all Americans, and not only Americans, in a broad perspective. People throughout the world want to be richer, to be able to take care of their newborn children without losing jobs, to pay less for medicine, to enjoy high-quality and timely medical services, and to live in a clean and safe environment. At the same time, one must distinguish between goals and methods, between strategy and tactics. We all want to live better lives, but how can we achieve that? There are two fundamental ways to choose from. The first is the socialist way, which includes higher taxes needed to pay for the Heaven on Earth the Left pictures so alluringly. The other path is capitalism, which includes mechanisms of the free market along with reasonable regulations, moderate to low taxation for all, and free enterprise...
Denmark in a State of Unreported Collapse
by Ole Hasselbalch
{} ~ The media portrayal of Denmark as a country hostile and inhumane to migrants is misleading, if not completely false... One reason for the inaccurate picture is that it is painted by journalists' political bias. Another is that trustworthy official Danish statistics on the country's immigration problem are both difficult to find and even harder to interpret. A further problem is a lack of reliable research, at best; and purposely distorted data, at worst. The following breakdown illustrates that rather than being more relatively free of the consequences of mass migration than other European countries in general, and Scandinavian countries in particular, Denmark is in a state of societal collapse. In spite of Copenhagen's many laws that govern migration and affect immigrants, the Danish people have been experiencing a major cultural and political shift in their life as they have traditionally known it. In 1960, the  population of Denmark was 4,580,708. Today, that number stands at 5,768,712. This growth appears to be largely due to immigration. In 2016, Statistics Denmark projected that the country will have 507,000 "non-Western" immigrants by the year 2060, and 342,000 "non-Western descendants."...
'Second Amendment Sanctuaries'
Louis DeBroux:  So-called “progressive” Democrats across America are finding out that what is good for the goose, politically speaking, is good for the gander.

For years, Democrats have refused to enforce U.S. immigration laws, declaring themselves to be “sanctuary” cities and states. Refusing to cooperate with federal immigration authorities, they have harbored illegal alien criminals to prevent deportation. In one case, an Oregon judge even helped an illegal alien, just convicted of DUI after having been previously deported, escape from ICE agents waiting outside her courtroom to take him into custody.

Despite the thousands upon thousands of murders, rapes, robberies, and assaultscommitted against U.S. citizens each year by illegal aliens, Democrats stand defiant against enforcement of laws stopping illegal immigration. Despite the metastasizing threat of the brutal, violent Salvadoran gang MS-13, which has grown to tens of thousands of members in the U.S., engaging in murder, rape, child prostitution, drug and human trafficking, gun-running, etc., Democrats stand with the criminals.

So it seems only fitting that the tables are being turned. In leftist, Democrat-run states where draconian gun-control laws have been and continue to be passed, citizens and sheriffs in more conservative, rural counties are declaring themselves to be “Second Amendment sanctuary cities” and refusing to enforce the anti-gun, unconstitutional laws that seek to disarm law-abiding citizens.

Arguably, New Mexico leads the biggest rebellion against these infringements on constitutionally protected rights. In response to several gun-control bills passed by the Democrats in the state legislature, 30 of the state’s 33 county sheriffs signed a letter pledging their refusal to enforce the new laws.

One of the leaders of the rebellion, Quay County Sheriff Russell Shafer, explained his position, stating, “If a state or city can become a sanctuary for illegal immigration, then we can become a sanctuary for Second Amendment rights.”

In fact, the local governments of 25 of New Mexico’s 33 counties have declared themselves to be “sanctuary” counties where the gun-control laws will not be enforced, and 29 of the 33 county sheriffs are refusing to enforce the laws. The New Mexico Sheriff’s Association has also warned it will sue the state if the new gun laws are enacted.

No doubt part of the rebellion comes from indignation at having rights infringed by elected officials whose knowledge of guns is imbecilic at best. New Mexico’s Democrat Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham last year called for a ban on “high magazine cartridges.” That’s not even a thing!

If the underlying intent wasn’t so nefarious, listening to Democrats expose their absolute stupidity about guns would be hilarious.

One of the bills in question is the so-called “red flag” legislation that allows family members or even acquaintances of a gun owner to petition a court to temporarily confiscate the owner’s weapons if they believe the person presents a danger to themselves or others. The obvious danger is that such a provision could be abused without significant safeguards. Sheriffs argue they already have legal recourses to remove a weapon from a potentially dangerous person, and the new laws fail to protect the due process rights of gun owners.
Sheriffs say they are responding to the wishes of the voters who elected them, in counties that have passed resolutions banning county funds from being used to enforce these laws.

Newly elected New Mexico Governor Grisham mocked the revolt by county sheriffs in her state, accusing them of being “rogue sheriffs throwing a childish pity party,” claiming they are undermining public safety.

In reality, it is the statist, gun-grabbing Democrats who are undermining public safety by disarming law-abiding citizens, leaving them as easy prey for violent criminals. In January 2013, to much leftist fanfare, Barack scumbag/liar-nObama directed the Centers for Disease  Control to commission a study on how to reduce gun violence in America. The results were released later that year with a whisper. Why? Because the study determined that the number of defensive gun uses, which prevented or stopped a crime, occurred as much as 10 times more often than criminal gun uses.

These revolts are occurring not just in New Mexico, but in even more Democrat-dominated states like Washington Colorado, and Illinois, where the state legislature is seeking to ban commonly owned semiautomatic weapons; which is to say, nearly all firearms.

It’s no wonder that there is such a deep divide between “red” and “blue” America. Red America wants the Constitution respected and immigration laws enforced. It wants God-given rights protected by the government that supposedly serves them. Blue America insists we allow in wave after wave of illegal aliens, including violent criminals, while also demanding that law-abiding citizens be stripped of their right to arm and defend themselves.

Thomas Jefferson was right when (quoting Cesare Beccaria) he declared that “Laws that forbid the carrying of arms … disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.”

Therefore, we recommend that gun-grabbing Democrats abide by the same advice they give pro-lifers on abortion; namely, if you don’t want one, don’t get one, but don’t take away our right to one. And unlike the “right” to abortion, the right to keep and bear arms can actually be found in the Constitution.  ~The Patriot Post

CONFUSION:   Pelosi Says Constitution Spells Out ‘Two Co-Equal Branches’ Of Government

No Nancy. No.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi must be taking night classes at the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez School of Government.

Pelosi, the 79-year-old third-highest ranking official in the U.S. government, was speaking to the Center for American Progress today when she mistakenly said there are “two co-equal branches” of government, before correcting herself to say there are three.

“First of all, let me just say, we take an oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,” Pelosi said.

“Democrats take that oath seriously, and we are committed to honoring our oath of office. I’m not sure that our Republican colleagues share that commitment, and I’m not sure that the president of the United States does, too,” she claimed.

“So, in light of the fact that the beauty of the Constitution is a system of checks and balances— two co-equal branches— three co-equal branches of government,” she corrected with a laugh.

“A check and balance on each other,” she continued. “Con— Constitution spells out the pri— pa, uh, the duties of Congress and one of them is oversight of the president of the United States, another one of them is to impeach the president of the United States,” Pelosi said.

In November, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rallied supporters on Facebook to pitch in and help Democrats take back “all three chambers of Congress.”

“…the Progressive movement works and it wins in all districts…If we work our butts off to make sure that we take back all three chambers of Congress– three chambers of government…,” she said during the virtual appearance.

She clarified that she meant the “presidency, the Senate and the House.”

According to the Constitution, the three branches of government are the legislative, executive and judicial.
