scumbag liar-Nadler Calls Out Barr for Hearing
No-Show: ‘Afraid of Proper Cross Examination’
by Lizzie Helmer
ijr.com } ~ Attorney General William Barr said he bailed on his scheduled appearance in front of the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday... due to a dispute with Democrats over questioning procedures, but House Judiciary Committee Chair scumbag liar-Jerry Nadler(D-N.Y.) didn’t buy his reasoning. “The administration, the attorney general, apparently is afraid of proper cross-examination,” scumbag liar-Nadler told reporters after the no-show. “We ask questions under the five-minute rule, and we’ve seen a pattern from this administration,” he added. “The administration’s witnesses fillibuster for four-and-a-half minutes and then give a nonresponsive answer for the next half a minute.” scumbag liar-Nadler said they wanted a procedure where they could have counsel after the five-minute questioning to follow up on answers so that Barr can’t “evade as easily.” “Obviously, the attorney general is afraid to face that kind of questioning,” scumbag liar-Nadler said. “What we saw today is, besides the attitude of contempt the administration has for Congress, what we saw is fear. Fear of effective cross-examination. Period.”... Hogwash, sumbag liar-Nadler is lying once again.

dirty cop-Mueller Objected to Barr’s Report
Rollout But Did Not Say It Was Inaccurate
by Kristina Wong
{breitbart.com} ~ Special Counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller wrote Attorney General William Barr a letter in late March complaining that Barr’s four-page letter to Congress describing the conclusions of the investigation... “did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance” of the special counsel’s investigation, the Washington Post reported Tuesday. dirty cop-Mueller’s March 27 letter “revealed a degree of dissatisfaction with the public discussion of the special counsel’s work that shocked senior Justice Department officials,” the Post reported, citing “people familiar with the discussions.” dirty cop-Mueller reportedly wrote:The summary letter the Department sent to Congress and released to the public late in the afternoon of March 24 did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance of this office’s work and conclusions. There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation. This threatens to undermine a central purpose for which the Department appointed the Special Counsel: to assure full public confidence in the outcome of the investigations. dirty cop-Mueller also reportedly requested that Barr release the report’s introductions and executive summaries, and he made “initial suggested redactions for doing so,” according to Justice Department officials. News of dirty cop-Mueller’s complaints come on the eve of Barr’s testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday morning – set to be contentious between Senate Democrats and the Attorney General. Democrats have accused Barr of trying to secure the most favorable outcome possible for President Trump after the report’s conclusion. Barr notified members of Congress that dirty cop-Mueller had submitted his report to him on March 22...   https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/04/30/report-mueller-objected-to-barrs-report-rollout-but-did-not-say-it-was-inaccurate/

loose lips-Biden, commie-Bernie: It’s Not
Their Age — It’s the Age of Their Ideas
by William Murchison
{spectator.org} ~ Hey, lay off that geezer stuff when political talk turns to the fitness of commie-Bernie Sanders (aetas 77) and loose lips-Joe Biden (aetas 76) to fill the considerable office of president... I find such talk both unnecessary and disagreeable. The generic reason for this is that senior-citizen status was long seen as a political qualification rather than a disability. For instance, the Latin root of the word “Senate” is senex, for old; meaning venerable, wise, experienced, all that stuff. Then there’s this. Save for the accidents of geography, I could have gone to high school with commie-Bernie and loose lips-Biden. Our birth dates differ by mere months. By some strange historical design, we might have graduated in the same class. I do not know that we would have ever double-, or triple-, dated: say, at a showing of The Big Country, with Gregory Peck. commie-Bernie might have come unglued at the contemptuous treatment visited by Charles Bickford’s upper-crust cattle baron upon his ruffian of a rival, Burl Ives. commie-Bernie might have stalked from the theater and organized a picket line. loose lips-Biden would have been oblivious as he chatted up, or embraced, whole rows of popcorn-crunching viewers. Yet surely there is something to be said for those who saw Dick Clark in his sleek and smiling prime, and know how to drive a stick-shift Chevy; who perhaps acknowledge growing misty upon hearing the opening bars of “Earth Angel.” I tell you, we have been around the block a few times and sipped a few soda fountain Cokes. We have some idea of what’s what. The problem with the notion of my contemporaries, commie-Bernie and loose lips-Joe, either one of them, as president of the United States isn’t really their physical age. It’s the age of their political ideas. They appear not to have learned a whole lot during the tumultuous years since, oh, 1965, 1966, along in there. commie-Bernie, the glib socialist, I would assume to have learned less than loose lips-Joe, whose political creed could be classified as standard 1970s common-guy liberal. There are worse things, I can tell you. Such as socialism. Among the worthless, moss-encrusted notions that deface political understanding, socialism stands in the front rank: proof that no bad idea really ever dies. To indulge in a 1950s reference, socialism is the Christopher Lee — the Count Dracula, that is, Hammer Films-style — of political creeds. It keeps coming back, with fangs bared — most recently under commie-Bernie’s patronage...

'We Were, Frankly, Surprised' That dirty cop-
Mueller Would Not Decide the Obstruction Issue
by Susan Jones
cnsnews.com } ~ Attorney General William Barr told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday that he learned at a March 5 meeting that Special Counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller... was not going reach a decision on whether President Donald Trump obstructed justice. "And we were, frankly, surprised that they were not going to reach a decision on obstruction. And we asked them a lot about the reasoning behind this and the basis for this," Barr said in his opening statement, which continued as follows: Special Counsel dirty cop-Mueller stated three times to us in that meeting, in response to our questioning, that he emphatically was not saying that but for the OLC (Office of Legal Counsel) opinion, he would have found obstruction. The Justice Department Office of Legal Counsel has generally ruled that a sitting president cannot be indicted. He said that in the future, the facts of a case against a president might be such that a special counsel would recommend abandoning the OLC opinion, but this is not such a case. We did not understand exactly why the Special Counsel was not reaching a decision, and when we pressed him on it, he said that his team was still formulating the explanation. Once we heard that the Special Counsel was not reaching a conclusion on obstruction, the deputy Rod Rosenstein and I discussed and agreed that the Department had to reach a decision. We had the responsibility to assess the evidence set forth in the report and make the judgement. I say this because the Special Counsel was appointed to carry out the investigative and prosecutorial functions of the Department and to do it as part of the Department of Justice. The powers he was using, including the power of using a grand jury and using compulsory process, exists for that purpose -- the function of the Department of Justice in this arena -- which is to determine whether or not there has been criminal conduct. It's a binary decision. Is there enough evidence to show a crime? And do we believe a crime has been committed?...

Congress Passes Pro-Gun ‘Target Practice
and Marksmanship Training Support Act’
by Jack Davis
{westernjournal.com} ~ The House on Monday gave final legislative approval to a bill that would allow states to use more money they receive from federal excise taxes on guns and ammunition... to upgrade and create public shooting ranges. HR 1222, the “Target Practice and Marksmanship Training Support Act,” was co-sponsored by Republican Rep. Rob Bishop of Utah and Democratic Rep. Ron Kind of Wisconsin. House passage followed last month’s Senate approval of the bill, according to TheBlaze. In the Senate, the bill was sponsored by Sens. Michael Bennet, a Colorado Democrat, and Shelley Moore Capito, a West Virginia Republican. The bill, which has been proposed in the past but had never been approved by both houses of Congress, now goes to the White House. The bill gives states a new impetus to invest in public shooting ranges. Under current law, states wanting to use excise taxes on guns  and ammunition authorized by the Pittman-Robertson Act of 1937 have to chip in 25 percent of the cost for target range creation or upgrades, according to TheBlaze. The money, collected by the federal government and then shared with the states, funds a wide range of conservation and outdoors programming. The new law reduces the percentage of non-federal dollars that need to be spent on a target range to 10 percent...

He was disarmed, and he was taken into custody by our officers," said UNC-Charlotte campus police chief Jeffrey Baker. Baker said two people were killed and three were in critical condition. One other person was hospitalized. The gunman used a handgun and was not a known threat to campus police prior to the shooting, Baker said. The campus had been on lockdown for hours as police searched the school. Three Black Men, a White Widow, and BBQ
Culture Beat:  Who says Alabama — the home of the Southern Poverty Law Center — is full of racists? This 80-year-old white widow was eating along when three young black men arrived at the BBQ restaurant in Oxford, Alabama. One of them noticed her eating alone. “He just came up and he said, ‘I saw you sitting over here alone,’” she recounted. “And he said, ‘Do you mind having some company?’”

“And she said, ‘Go right ahead,’” said the young man. “And then I introduced myself and she introduced herself. And it’s just kind of how it all got started.”

The four of them enjoyed dinner together. “And it was really just a nice, pleasant evening,” said Eleanor.  ~The Patriot Post
