New dirty cop-Mueller Court Filing Highlights Trump Investigation Will Continue Deep into Year Three…
by sundance
{theconservativetreehouse.com} ~ Voices selling a pending conclusion to the dirty cop-Mueller investigation of President Trump were dealt a set-back today as  dirty cop-Robert Mueller files a motion with the court... extending the 2016 Russian interference investigation deep into 2019. The Associated Press is citing court documents filed within the Rick Gates case where the special counsel is requesting additional time for sentencing as an outcome of ongoing cooperation that has expanded the investigation. dirty cop-Robert Mueller isn’t done with former Trump campaign aide Rick Gates. That’s according to a new court filing from the special counsel’s team. Prosecutors say they’re not ready for Gates to be sentenced because he is continuing to cooperate with “several ongoing investigations.” And they’re asking a federal judge to give them until mid-January before they have to give another update about his case. The filing confirms that the investigation will extend into next year as  dirty cop-Mueller continues to probe Russian election interference and any possible coordination with President Donald Trump’s associates. Fortunately there is no direct notification of President Trump as the subject of the expanded inquiry, which will allow the “trust the plan” folks the opportunity to claim a magnanimous  dirty cop-Mueller is only being diligent; and there’s no need for concern with the investigation going deep into next year. My initial read on this is that it appears to be a counter-move by the administrative state, in response to the appointment of Matt Whitaker as Associate Attorney General...
Islamist Terror Threat As Strong As Ever,
Dutch Intelligence Warns
by Abigail R. Esman
{investigativeproject.org} ~ It has become "the new normal," a structural part of 21st-century life. And the jihadist threat against the West is just as strong now as ever... These are the conclusions of "The Legacy of Syria: Global Jihad Remains A Threat to Europe," a new report from the Dutch intelligence agency, Algemene Inlichting en Veiligheids Dienst (AIVD). Indeed, according to its report, the demise of the Islamic State has proved to be just a hiccup in the ongoing efforts to found a caliphate in the Middle East. Thousands of ISIS sympathizers still walk freely in the streets of Europe and across the West, and "as a result of the conflict in Syria, the global jihadist movement has grown and professionalized." Hence, while there have been fewer ISIS-driven attacks since the fall of the Caliphate, the AIVD does not expect the trend to last. Rather, both through propaganda and the international interactions made possible through the internet, jihadists are increasingly able to organize attacks, particularly as ISIS becomes an underground movement. Further, jihadists have recently turned to more "everyday" kinds of weaponry, such as cars or trucks and knives, attacking in public spaces that are much harder to protect, from the London Bridge to the Ramblasin Barcelona to plazas outside of railway stations in the Netherlands. The media and even counterterrorism experts tend to refer to those who execute such attacks as "lone wolves." Not so, according to the AIVD. ISIS has shown itself to be extremely proficient at inspiring potential jihadists, even among those who have never fought in the Islamic State or even had direct contact with ISIS members. Hence,  says the agency, though so-called "lone wolves" may have prepared and executed their attacks on their own, "they are indeed part of a virtual jihadist network."...

Georgia Democrat Senator Nikema Williams
Arrested During Election Protests
by Rusty
{thepoliticalinsider.com} ~ Georgia State Senator Nikema Williams was arrested Tuesday as protesters filled the State Capitol to demand ballots be recounted... from last week’s election including the hotly contested race for governor. The Democrat state senator was hauled off to Fulton County jail as supporters of Stacey Abrams try to persuade officials to count thousands of disallowed votes so she can force a runoff against Republican Brian Kemp. It is the latest in a long line of examples in which Democrats seem incapable of accepting election results. Williams was led out of the rotunda with hands zip-tied behind her back after Capitol police ordered the protesters out. Lawmakers had met to discuss dispersing funds for hurricane relief when the mob activity broke out. The law prohibits people from interrupting the state legislature with “loud, threatening, or abusive language.” Williams arrest comes while nationally recognized Democrats are trying to portray the election system in Georgia as corrupt. Sen. Sherrod Brown, an Ohio Democrat, recently claimed that if Abrams isn’t declared the winner of the gubernatorial contest, it’s because Republicans stole the election...Brown is a liar.

Federal judge rules to protect provisional ballots,
Abrams' campaign cheers 'good news'
by Edmund DeMarche
{foxnews.com} ~ A federal judge on Monday ordered Georgia take steps to protect provisional ballots and to wait until Friday to certify the results of the midterm elections... that include an unsettled race for governor. Lauren Groh-Wargo, Abrams campaign manager, announced Judge Amy Totenberg's decision late Monday. WSBTV.com   reported that the judge’s 56-page ruling could affect thousands of provisional ballots. Groh-Wargo called the ruling "good news." Brian Kemp, her Republican challenger, issued a statement a day earlier calling for Abrams to concede. Kemp has declared victory and said it is "mathematically impossible" for her campaign to force a runoff. Abrams' campaign did not immediately respond to a phone call from Fox News late Monday night. Abrams, 44, a Democrat, has maintained that she will not concede until every vote has been counted, and pointed to the 5,000 votes tallied over the weekend that favored her...  https://www.foxnews.com/politics/federal-judge-rules-in-favor-of-abrams-to-delay-state-certification-protect-provisional-ballots

Michael Avenatti arrested on felony domestic violence charges
by Victor Morton
{washingtontimes.com} ~ Anti-Trump attorney Michael Avenatti was reportedly arrested on charges of felony domestic violence that seriously injured his estranged wife... According to a report in TMZ, the lawyer for porn star Stormy Daniels and one of Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s less-credible accusers was taken into custody Wednesday after a confrontation “at an exclusive apartment building in the Century City area of L.A.” The celebrity-news site, citing “law enforcement sources,” said the reported attack by Mr. Avenatti took place Tuesday though. “We’re told during today’s confrontation the woman ran out of the apartment building and was on the sidewalk on her cellphone with sunglasses covering her eyes, screaming on the phone, ‘I can’t believe you did this to me,’” TMZ wrote. Mr. Avenatti physically showed up five minutes later and was running after Lisa-Storie Avenatti, yelling at her.

‘Little House on the Prairie’ Star
Katherine MacGregor Has Passed Away

by westernjournal.com

{westernjournal.com} ~ Katherine MacGregor, who played petty, gossiping mother Harriet Oleson on TV’s “Little House on the Prairie,” has died, a representative said Wednesday. She was 93.

MacGregor died Tuesday at the Motion Picture and Television Fund retirement community in Los Angeles said Tony Sears, who is acting as her attorney.

Her onscreen nasty daughter Nellie Oleson was the character viewers most loved to hate on the NBC series that ran from 1974 to 1983.

However, her cruel, greedy mother Harriet Oleson was just as awful, never missing a chance at small-town social climbing or petty backbiting.

They stood in contrast to the warm, loving members of the Ingalls family, who were the show’s focus and often the Olesons’ targets.

The California-born MacGregor began as a dancer in New York before shifting to acting, studying under legendary teacher Sanford Meisner.

Her screen career consisted of tiny film roles and TV guest spots before she landed on “Little House on the Prairie,” the beloved TV series based on a beloved book series that author Laura Ingalls Wilder wrote about her childhood.

MacGregor would stay for the show’s entire run along with actors Michael Landon, the show’s star who died in 1991, and Melissa Gilbert, who played a young Laura Ingalls.

“She was outspoken and hilariously funny,” Melissa Gilbert said on Instagram of MacGregor Wednesday.

“A truly gifted actress as she was able to play a despicable character but with so much heart. Her Harriet Oleson was the woman our fans loved to hate. A perfect antagonist.”

Alison Arngrim, who played Nellie Oleson, said Macgregor “had an extremely long and full life and is at peace … we will all miss her.”
