ISIS: Now Going After Israel

by theteapartydaily.com ~ If Iran was not enough terror for the world to handle, there are groups like insane ISIS to help make the world an unsafe place to live... Islam has factions within their ranks that are considered extreme. So extreme that they are willing to kill and terrorize people all in the name of religion. ISIS has announced that they are going to move onto another “stage” with their ways of terror. They are calling on all of their demonic followers to attack Israel every chance that they have. This move by ISIS is just another way to say that they no longer have the ability to attack other nations that are far away from them. So, they must turn to people that they hate that are close to home. The very fact that their leader Abu Hamza al Qurayshi had to announce such an endeavor goes to show that they no longer have the ability to effectively communicate with the broken-down factions. President Trump has dealt them a death blow in recent months to the point that they are struggling to survive. Their leader went on to show more of their sad state when he told everyone to use whatever weapons they could find. His unwise speech let the world know that they no longer have the ability to provide adequate weapons to their absurd followers. They have become a toothless organization with an old microphone yelling for help wherever they can find it. Funny that no one is really listening anymore. The targets that he wants to attack are hard to get to. All of their efforts in the past have been met with little to no success in the world of terrorism. Israel is just too much for them. And now that the United States is closing in to destroy them, they are feeling the pressure. They are feeling the pressure of meaningless words and defeat that is knocking on their door. Their witless leader stated “Today we have begun a new stage in our war against you. Go for the Israeli settlements and marketplaces. Turn them into lands for testing your weapons and chemical rockets and other types of weapons.” It is like he is trying to say something, but no one is listening. Israel is not scared of ISIS and neither is the United States. They have become a cell group that no longer has any teeth to their threats...  https://theteapartydaily.com/isis-now-going-after-israel/
Senators’ Letter Stirs Mystery Over
4 Classified Footnotes In FISA Report

{ dailycaller.com } ~ The Republican chairmen of two Senate committees asked Attorney General William Barr on Tuesday to declassify information in four footnotes in a Justice Department inspector general’s report... on the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign. The senators said the redacted information is “essential” for the public to fully understand what went wrong in the probe. “The American people have a right to know what is contained within these four footnotes and, without that knowledge, they will not have a full picture as to what happened during the Crossfire Hurricane investigation,” Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson wrote to Barr. “This classified information is significant not only because it contradicts key statements in a section of the report, but also because it provides insight essential for an accurate evaluation of the entire investigation,” they continued. The letter stirs mystery over what is behind the redactions and suggests that the inspector general’s report is even more damning for the FBI than already known. The 434-page report blasted the FBI for providing inaccurate and incomplete information to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) in four applications to surveil Trump campaign aide Carter Page. The report said FBI agents failed to disclose information that undercut the bureau’s theory that Page was working as a Russian agent and that he conspired with the Kremlin to influence the 2016 election. FBI agents also failed to inform the FISC that the main source for former British spy Christopher Steele disputed information in a dossier that the bureau cited in its warrant applications to the FISC.  The errors and omissions were so egregious that the FISC issued a public order reprimanding the FBI...  https://dailycaller.com/2020/01/28/mystery-footnotes-fisa-carter-page/?utm_source=&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=11778
‘An Act Of Treachery’: Joe diGenova Did Not

The John Bolton Book Leaks

{ dailycaller.com } ~ Joe diGenova, former U.S. district attorney for D.C., did not mince words when discussing the recent leaks from former National Security Adviser John Bolton’s upcoming book... during an interview with the Daily Caller’s Stephanie Hamill. “This is out of character. You wouldn’t publish this book about a president for whom you worked for while he’s still a president or at least until the re-election is over. To release it now is an act of treachery,” said diGenova. The New York Times reported Sunday that a manuscript of Bolton’s forthcoming book claims that President Donald Trump told him in an August 2019 conversation that he was withholding military aid to Ukraine in order to force officials there to cooperate with investigations into loose lips liar-Joe Biden and other political opponents.  He also rated Trump’s defense team’s performance and explained why the Senate should be asking more about the loose lips liar-Bidens.

Why Bolton’s Testimony on
'Quid Pro Quo' is a Waste of Time

{ frontpagemag.com } ~ The New York Times leaked what President Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton allegedly claimed in his forthcoming book about an August 2019 meeting he held with President Trump regarding Ukraine... Bolton is said to have written that President Trump “wanted to continue freezing $391 million in security assistance to Ukraine until officials there helped with investigations into Democrats including the loose lips liar-Bidens.” Senate Democrats and a few Republicans such as Senator rino-Mitt Romney would like to hear Bolton’s first-hand testimony. However, it is much ado about nothing. Bolton's testimony would prove nothing of relevance to the Senate impeachment trial. One legitimately can be skeptical about the timing of the leak, which happened contemporaneously with the Amazon  product page for the book going live. One can argue, as Robert Spencer has done, that Bolton sold the president out because  “Trump represents a strong challenge to the foreign policy establishment views that have failed again and again, and of which Bolton is a foremost exponent.” But it does not really matter. Even if, for the purest of reasons, Bolton wants to tell what he knows at the Senate trial about his direct interactions with President Trump concerning the temporary hold on the release of the security assistance, it would not be worth prolonging the Senate trial to hear him. John Bolton, a long-time neo-conservative hawk, left office following sharp disagreements with President Trump on a variety of foreign policy issues. Keeping security aid to Ukraine flowing without even a temporary pause was just one of those issues that Bolton felt strongly about. Bolton aired his opinions to the president, as he was obliged to do as the presidentially appointed national security adviser. President Trump rejected Bolton’s advice, as the duly elected president is entitled to do. Policy differences, whether between the president and his subordinates or between the president and members of Congress, are not impeachable offenses. Whether Bolton and members of Congress were right, and the president was wrong, does not turn a policy difference into an impeachable offense. And whether the president saw any political benefit in deciding to hold up the release of the security aid temporarily in order to satisfy himself that the supposedly anti-corruption reformist Ukraine government was truly serious about investigating allegations of corruption does not turn his mixed motives for taking an official action into an impeachable offense. Former Harvard law professor and constitutional law expert Alan Dershowitz exploded any pretense of relevance as to what Bolton might have to say. It would add nothing of constitutional significance regarding the decision that the Senate must make in dealing with the rabidly partisan House Democratic majority’s fatally flawed articles of impeachment. The abuse of power article rests on assessing the president’s “real” motives for withholding the security aid and allegedly pressuring Ukraine to announce the opening of investigations into reported Ukrainian interference in the 2016 presidential election and into the loose lips liar-Bidens’ activities in Ukraine. Bolton, the Democrats argue, would provide an invaluable first-hand account of the linkage between the hold on the assistance and the president’s improper political motivations that their case lacks so far...

US. Attorney General Bill Barr Destroys
Bolton’s Claims Made Against Trump

{ thebeardedpatriot.com } ~ As I said, with claims like these, apply the 48-hour rule. People always jump on them and go crazy, then find out later they are nothing or some twisted version of the facts... The NY Times made several claims about what was in the draft of John Bolton’s book including a claim that President Donald Trump wanted to trade aid for investigations. But there were several immediate problems with the claims, including that they didn’t even have any quotes from the book, which means that, at best, it’s them paraphrasing what they think was said. While Bolton hasn’t disputed them, he also has not confirmed the report. Office of Management and Budget head Mick Mulvaney has already disputed what they claimed about him as has the President. Now the DOJ is disputing the part that referenced Attorney General Bill Barr. According to the New York Times, Bolton’s book manuscript alleged he told Barr he had concerns about comments the President made to the leaders of Turkey and China and that it might appear he had had influence on investigations. Didn’t happen, says the DOJ. “While the Department of Justice has not reviewed Mr. Bolton’s manuscript, the New York Times’ account of this conversation grossly mischaracterizes what Attorney General Barr and Mr. Bolton discussed. There was no discussion of ‘personal favors’ or ‘undue influence’ on investigations, nor did Attorney General Barr state that the president’s conversations with foreign leaders was improper. If this is truly what Mr. Bolton has written, then it seems he is attributing to Attorney General Barr his own current views — views with which Attorney General Barr does not agree.” So it sounds like basically what you have is Bolton’s thoughts about things with his own interpretations or projections, put in a blender with the New York Times’ interpretation, to pop out their current “facts” trying to influence the narrative on impeachment. Senators and the public should recognize this for what it is, an effort to influence the vote on witnesses.

GOP Senators Are Fired Up

by rightwing.org ~ Republicans are flaring up over recent developments with the Senate impeachment proceedings. First off, we have Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) who struck down the notion of calling in witnesses to testify... In his eyes, Democrats haven’t brought a convincing case by failing to provide enough proof to convict Trump of anything. However, if the Dems want to go down that road, Cruz said, “I think at a minimum, the most important witness for the Senate to hear from, is now Hunter Biden.” Cruz also railed against the loose lips liar-Bidens in a segment captured on C-SPAN. At the same time, Sen. rino-Mitt Romney (R-UT) said he was open to calling in witnesses. He said, “I think it’s very likely I’ll be in favor of witnesses, but I haven’t made a decision finally yet, and I won’t until the testimony is completed.” Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) called him out saying that rino-Romney just wants to appease the Left. Tensions are high as Democrats attempt to put pressure on the Senate. At the end of the day, this impeachment farce is just another dishonest trick in the leftist book.

Yesterday was one of my favorite days of the year — the annual March for Life. Every year hundreds of thousands of people come to Washington, DC — in January! — to march for the sanctity of life. That tells you something about the dedication of the pro-life movement.

Usually the “mainstream media” totally ignores the march. But it couldn’t ignore this year’s march because President Trump made history by becoming the first sitting United States president to address the March for Life! Here are a few excerpts of the president’s remarks:

We’re here for a very simple reason — to defend the right of every child, born and unborn, to fulfill their God-given potential. For 47 years, Americans of all backgrounds have traveled from across the country to stand for life. And today as president of the United States, I am truly proud to stand with you…

All of us here today understand an eternal truth — every child is a precious and sacred gift from God. Together we must protect, cherish and defend the dignity and the sanctity of every human life. When we see the image of a baby in the womb, we glimpse the majesty of God’s creation… As the Bible tells us, each person is wonderfully made…

To all of the moms here today, we celebrate you and we declare that mothers are heroes. Your strength, devotion and drive is what powers our nation. And because of you our country has been blessed with amazing souls who have changed the course of human history…

We know this: Every life brings love into this world. Every child brings joy to a family. Every person is worth protecting. And above all, we know that every human soul is divine and every human life, born and unborn, is made in the holy image of Almighty God.

If you missed the president’s March for Life address, you can watch it here.

And the president is continuing to lead on this critical issue. Yesterday, the Trump administration formally notified the state of California that it is violating federal conscience laws by mandating abortion coverage in all health-insurance policies.

The state’s abortion mandate was challenged by an order of Catholic nuns and Skyline Wesleyan Church. The state has 30 days to repeal the mandate or risk losing federal funds.

In related news, the Trump campaign announced its “Pro-Life Voices for Trump” coalition yesterday. Having dedicated my entire adult life to defending the sanctity of life, I am proud to be an advisory-board member of “Pro-Life Voices for Trump.” This president has proudly stood for the unalienable right to life, and I am proud to stand with him!

Pro-Life America

A new Marist poll released this week finds overwhelming support for pro-life policies. For example:

  • 70% of those surveyed support significant limits to abortion.

  • Only 21% support abortion on demand.

  • 60% oppose taxpayer funding of abortion.

  • 75% oppose the use of their tax dollars to perform abortions overseas.

  • 62% believe the Supreme Court should allow states to regulate abortion.

In the coming weeks, the court will have an opportunity to do just that when it considers a challenge to a Louisiana law requiring abortionists to meet certain health and safety standards.

The Louisiana law is similar to Texas law the high court struck down in 2016 in a 5-3 vote after Justice Scalia had passed away. But the Supreme Court has changed significantly since then. President Trump nominated Justice Neil Gorsuch to replace Scalia and Justice Brett Kavanaugh to replace Anthony Kennedy, who was the deciding fifth vote in the Texas case.

The Deep State Scandal

Late Thursday there was breaking news that the Justice Department informed the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that it was wrong to renew the last two warrants to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. Better late than never, I guess.

Many media outlets glossed over the news, often with tepid headlines that downplayed the importance of the story. We’ve just been told that the Deep State effort to investigate, undermine, and delegitimize a duly elected president, by spying on an innocent American who was part of the campaign, was illegal!

Every citizen should be outraged by this gross abuse of power and the gross politicization of our intelligence agencies. Once again, we’re seeing that President Trump was right to fire scumbag-James Comey, that all the hype about Russian collusion was an absurd hoax, that the Mueller investigation was a colossal waste of $30 million.

But don’t hold your breath waiting for Rachel Maddow or scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff to apologize for misleading the country or accusing the president of being a Russian asset.

The Wuhan Virus

A few folks have asked me this week how concerned they should be about the coronavirus from Wuhan, China. For now, I think the answer is that we haven’t been told enough yet to know how concerned we should be.

Chinese communist authorities are notorious for hiding the truth. We don’t know for certain how many people are infected and how many have died. We don’t know enough yet to know for certain if this is just another random flu or another Spanish flu, which killed 50 million people worldwide in 1918.

Rising additional concern is that communist China’s reaction to this outbreak seems over the top based on what we know so far. To shut down travel and isolate Wuhan, a city of 11 million people and bigger than New York City, does not seem like a reasonable reaction if just a variant of the flu is going around. According to the latest news, Beijing has now imposed restrictions on more than 30 million people.

Here’s another curiosity: China announced that it is immediately constructing a new hospital — just for the people stricken with the “Wuhan virus.” It also closed 70,000 movies theaters across the country in order to discourage crowds. That makes sense if this is a “killer virus."

On the other hand, thousands of people may have contracted the virus but never got sick enough to go to the hospital and have since recovered. If that ends up being true, then this is just another viral flu.
