Trump backs off executive order threat, says Congress

{washingtontimes.com} ~ President Trump said Wednesday he’s still committed to ending birthright citizenship for babies born to immigrants living in the U.S. illegally... but would prefer to go through Congress rather than use an executive order. That’s a softening of his stance from an interview published Tuesday, where he told Axios, an online political outlet, that he was preparing an executive order to test the boundaries of the Constitution’s definitions of automatic citizenship. “I’d rather do it through Congress because that’s permanent,” the president told reporters at the White House. He said he still thinks an executive order possible, but said in a series of tweets that he now expects to push Congress to act on legislation next year. Nearly a decade later, the case against a man who was sentenced to four years in federal prison for what appears to be lies that emanated from dirty cop-Robert Mueller’s office continues to be “under investigation,” and the state of Tennessee doesn’t seem to want to make the public aware of the truth. Huff was sentenced in May 2012 to four years in federal prison for what could be considered a “thought crime,” a term introduced in George Orwell’s novel 1984, in which supreme government power punished individuals for thoughts of anger, resentment, protest or disobedience against its figurehead, “Big Brother,” even if such actions were never carried out. On April 20, 2010, Huff traveled to Madisonville, TN, the county seat of Monroe County, to attend a court hearing for CDR Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III (Ret.), who on April 1 had attempted to carry out a citizen’s arrest on Gary Pettway, the Monroe County grand jury foreman. Pettway did not acquiesce to Fitzpatrick’s demand that he turn himself in to authorities, and Judge Carroll Lee Ross directed sheriff’s deputies to arrest Fitzpatrick instead....

{gellerreport.com} ~ The attack took place near Ignacio Zaragoza, Chiapas, when members of Mexico’s Federal Police were escorting the migrant caravan as part of “Operativo Caminante” or “Operation Walker” across the southern border state... According to Mexico’s Interior Secretariat, two men identified only as 22-year-old “Jerson” and 17-year-old “Carlos” spotted the group of police officers guarding the caravan and began firing at them. The attackers’ pistol jammed, allowing police officers to arrest them without any injuries. Federal authorities seized a .380 caliber Glock with nine rounds still in the magazine.The attack came soon after Mexican authorities issued a warning about migrants in Guatemala who were preparing Molotov cocktails and acquiring firearms to use against police officers in their attempts to break through the border to Mexico. Could Ditch Birthright Citizenship

{whitehousedossier.com} ~ President Trump’s view that he could overrule birthright citizenship was reportedly informed by an article written last July in the Washington Post by Michael Anton... a former Trump National Security Council official and current research fellow at Hillsdale College. Anton notes that the principle of birthright citizenship is based on the 14th Amendment, which was written to ensure former slaves would be citizens of all states. That definition is included in the amendment’s first sentence: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.” People who claim the amendment applies to illegals say a “clear reading” of the amendment proves their children born here are citizens. The argument against this centers on the phrase “subject to the jurisdiction thereof.” It would seem to me that a clear reading just of the text suggests that illegal aliens, and therefore their children and those they give birth to, are subject to the “jurisdiction” of another country. Anton writes that the authors of the amendment clearly indicated it would not apply to people like tourists or illegal aliens... I am sure he also got advice from his lawyers
scumbag-Al Gore Proves to Be a False Prophet, Againby Political Editors: Back in June 2017, scumbag-Al Gore raged against President Donald Trump’s decision to pull the U.S. out of the Paris Agreement, insisting that the climate deal was “reckless” and “indefensible.” scumbag-Gore declared, “It undermines America’s standing in the world. It threatens the ability of humanity to solve the climate crisis in time.” But predictably, it is scumbag-Gore’s dire warnings that have proven to be “reckless” and “indefensible” when applied to real world facts.
Earlier this month the Environmental Protection Agency released a report “showing overall decreases across sectors and that total U.S. greenhouse gas emissions reported decreased by 2.7 percent from 2016 to 2017.” EPA acting administrator Andrew Wheeler noted, “Thanks to President Trump’s regulatory reform agenda, the economy is booming, energy production is surging, and we are reducing greenhouse gas emissions from major industrial sources. These achievements flow largely from technological breakthroughs in the private sector, not the heavy hand of government. The Trump Administration has proven that federal regulations are not necessary to drive CO2 reductions. While many around the world are talking about reducing greenhouse gases, the U.S. continues to deliver, and today’s report is further evidence of our action-oriented approach.”
In fact, U.S. emissions are now at their lowest levels since 1993. So much for needing the Paris Agreement to bring about lower emissions, as the U.S. now has reduced its carbon emissions more than any other country on the planet. And several countries who signed the accord, like Canada, China, Spain and the EU, have actually seen carbon emissions increase, which once again provides proof that the Paris climate deal was little more than a socialist boondoggle primarily designed for wealth redistribution, not combating climate change.
Once again, scumbag-Gore has been caught crying of wolf.

Trump has backed off and has said congress should make legislation changes to the 14th amendment next year. Its always been misinterpreted wrong and should be corrected. God help us.
