rino-McCain's Wife to Inherit
Senate Seat 'Family Business' After He Dies
{ rickwells.us } ~ Senators who treat their seats in the Senate as literally being their own property, a small business of sorts... have an expectation that their spouse can take over if they die in office, and a nepotism-based succession will be the likely outcome when rino-John McCain finally succumbs to his brain cancer. His financially and politically powerful wife, Cindy, is almost a certainty to be named to succeed him by GOP good old boy Arizona Governor, Doug Ducey. Newsmax reports from two anonymous sources that Mrs. McCain wants the job and that the politics are lined up to give it to her. They quote one friend of the family since 1973 as saying, “I’ve always assumed that was the arrangement.” A former Republican Senator agreed, telling them, “I don’t know if this succession has been formalized, but that’s what people who know rino-John tell me.” That would explain why he’s been tying up a Senate seat when it’s obvious that he’s not returning to DC alive and doing so despite the close margin between Democrats and Republicans. If he resigned and the seat was given to his wife she’d be the one travelling to and residing in DC and away from him... If rino-McCain’s seat becomes vacant before June 1st, Arizona law requires a special election this fall. https://rickwells.us/mccain-wife-senate-dies/
.Sam Clovis Ponders If Intelligence Asset
Stefan Halper Was Using Him To Get To George Papadopoulos
{ theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ Byron York has an interesting article today outlining his interview with former Trump campaign official Sam Clovis... Within the article Clovis shares the unexpected contact he received, via email, from CIA Asset Stefan Halper. As shared: “I am a professor at Cambridge University lecturing on US politics and foreign policy. I am what is called a ‘scholar practitioner,’ having served in the White House and four presidential campaigns — two as policy director. Over the past month I have been in conversation with Carter Page who attended our conference in Cambridge on US elections. Carter mentioned in Cambridge, and when visiting here in Virginia, that you and I should meet. I have enjoyed your comments and appearances in the media; you hit the sweet spot focusing Trump’s appeal to working America. May I suggest that we set a time to meet when you are next in Washington. Meanwhile, all the best, Stefan Halper.” The York article then goes through the hindsight possibilities Sam Clovis now considers amid recent revelations the FBI was using Halper as an ‘agent provocateur’. Make sure you read it. However, journalist Byron York makes a critical assumptive mistake within his discussion with Mr. Clovis that misses a very important detail... https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/05/28/sam-clovis-ponders-if-intelligence-asset-stefan-halper-was-using-him-to-get-to-george-papadopoulos/.
In Iran’s water crisis, Tehran sows the seeds of its own decline
{ thehill.com } ~ “I have returned” to Iran, tweeted a newly appointed environmental official charged with resolving the country’s water crisis... “with the hope of creating #hope.” Within months, however, that hope evaporated – and he found himself arrested, interrogated, and facing a government-coordinated smear campaign. Kaveh Madani, a Western-educated Iranian water expert, formally resigned in April in the wake of spurious charges of disloyalty to the Islamist regime. The rise and fall of the deputy head of Iran’s Department of the Environment not only reflects Tehran’s chronic mismanagement of its water resources. Rather, it also mirrors the years-long drought of talent in Iran, which continues to face a spiraling “brain drain” as its citizens flee the regime’s repressive rule. It wasn’t supposed to end this way. Born in Tehran in 1981, Madani first left the country after college, obtaining a master’s degree in water resources from Sweden’s Lund University and a doctorate in civil and environmental engineering from the University of California. He quickly gained a global reputation for his research and expertise. He won prestigious awards from the American Society of Civil Engineers and the European Geosciences Union. He conducted a TedX talk about global water scarcity. He appeared in Al Jazeera and BBC documentaries...
.Italy's Pro-EU President Flouts Voters
{ gatestoneinstitute.org } ~ Italy's new populist government-in-waiting resigned on May 28 after its choice of a eurosceptic finance minister was rejected by the country's pro-EU president... who instead asked an unelected technocrat to form a pro-EU government. The political wrangling ends a bid by Italy's two anti-establishment parties — the left-leaning Five Star Movement (M5S) and the center-right League (Lega) — to form a populist coalition government, which would have been the first of its kind in Europe. The political situation reflects the stranglehold on power wielded by the pro-EU establishment, which is evidently determined to preserve economic austerity at the expense of democracy... https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/12399/italy-president-eu.

“[a] sexual exploitation scandal in which an estimated 1,400 victims were abused over a 16-year period in the town — largely by men of a Pakistani-heritage background… and the blatant failures by senior figures at Rotherham Council over the town’s child abuse scandal — and alleged attempts to cover up what was happening.”
“On Friday, Robinson was live-streaming (from his telephone) outside Leeds Crown Court where last week's Grooming Gang of the Week were on trial for ‘grooming' — the useless euphemism for industrial-scale child gang rape and sex slavery by large numbers of Muslim men with the active connivance of every organ of the state: social workers, police, politicians. Oh, and also the media.”
Our founding fathers understood that one of the functions of our First Amendment right to freedom of speech is that of a safety valve. As people express dissatisfaction with government, debate ensues. There’s discussion. Policy changes can be proposed. That’s how democracy is supposed to work. Closing off public anger entirely the way multicultural elites have in the UK is dangerous.
