Who Is the True Heir to nObama?
Bernie Sanders and Hilly Clinton continued to draw differences with each other Monday night at a forum in Des Moines — a last attempt to sway voters in Iowa days before the caucuses. Sanders said in order to make this nation a social democracy that wages war against the rich, he wants to bring back "the era of big government," and cause government spending to increase about 10 times the amount the government planned to spend on nObamaCare. Meanwhile, Clinton painted herself as a "proven fighter" (though she would be more honest to describe herself as a morally ambiguous anti-hero) who will, somehow, do what Barack nObama didn't and work with Republicans. A fighter who wants to bury the hatchet. Ironic.
As for nObama, it's pretty clear his choice for an heir is his former secretary of state. "[The] one thing everybody understands is that this job right here — you don't have the luxury of just focusing on one thing," he told Politico  in an interview about the Democrat primaries. But nObama's pick is a pragmatic one. Clinton will preserve what nObama created. Sanders wants what nObama originally envisioned. Commentator Charles Krauthammer said, "Sanders is the one who wants to achieve the ultimate dreams of nObama over the ones he couldn't. He was the one who openly said he would prefer a single-payer system like the Canadian system, he obviously wasn't able to achieve it. Sanders is the one you would expect to be his ideological heir." And thus, Democrats continue their slow, incremental push toward ever more socialism.  -The Patriot Post

Clash of Billionaires: Donald vs. Michael
Hey ho! Welcome to the 2016 elections, where everything is a clamorous tumult and past conventions don't matter. For at least 100 years, third-party runs for the White House ended up splitting votes so the candidate with the minority views gained power. But former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is testing the water for a third-party run. And it's not the craziest thing to say that the man who launched a regulatory crusade against salt and big soda cups while mayor of the Big Apple just might do well. "Mr. Bloomberg is a serious man who wouldn't waste his money or time if he didn't sense an opportunity,"wrote The Wall Street Journal's editorial board. "If we've learned anything so far in this tumultuous election season, it's that the electorate is volatile enough that anything can happen."
Bloomberg is a lifelong liberal Democrat who claimed "Republican" status for his first NYC mayoral run, but is now back in his Demo comfort zone. (Shades of Donald Trump...) He is most loathed by conservatives for his persistent assault on the Second Amendment via his Every town for Gun Safety organization. He also is an abortion and homosexual marriage advocate, along with a long slate of other leftist social agendas, and, as you recall, was the most outspoken supporter of the "ground zero mosque." Bloomberg is flush with potential campaigning cash, as he has about nine times the wealth of Trump and has strong Wall Street connections. "He'd be able to tap into the anti-establishment fervor roiling both parties," blogger Ed Morrissey wrote, "and add in his extensive executive experience in both the private and public sectors, something which none of the current top contenders offer at the moment." The prospects of Clinton, Sanders, Trump and Bloomberg candidacies all pose a perilous threat to Liberty.
Trump has described Bloomberg as "a friend of mine over the years," saying Bloomberg "called me to help him out." Last fall, Bloomberg joked, "I've always said that the country is not ready for a divorced, Jewish billionaire from New York City. But after watching a divorced, Christian billionaire from New York City shoot to the top of the polls ... I've decided to become a candidate." Maybe he wasn't joking. For the record, if Bloomberg runs and none of the candidates secure an outright electoral college victory, then the election would be decided by the Republican majority in the House.  -The Patriot Post

With Budget Problems Looming, Fewer  Americans Care   The Congressional Budget Office released a report on the future of the federal government's budget and the projections aren't good. In 10 years, the federal government could hold a $30 trillion pile of debt, the Washington Times reports. That means any meager gains in fiscal responsibility made under the Republican Congress tugging on the purse strings to reduce the deficit will vanish. During the nObama administration, the amount of money the government spent while exceeding its budget declined, though it helps that he quadrupled the deficit before lowering it. In the 2015 fiscal year, we had a deficit of "only" $439 billion. But in the 2016 fiscal year, that number is supposed to climb to $544 billion, and the CBO sees more fiscal irresponsibility in the future. The solution includes searching for candidates with the fiscal chops to tackle the problem. However: "Voters care more about the economy and terrorism, and there's good sense to that," The Wall Street Journal editorial board opined. "The deficit will never vanish without faster economic growth, and the various tax reform plans that Republicans are offering would spur growth. By all means let's debate growth." But that might not be enough. For a dramatic shift in deficit reduction, the nation needs to take a difficult look at programs like Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, the programs contributing most to the national debt, according to The Heritage Foundation's Romina Boccia. Tax hikes and budget cuts are only temporary fixes; what this nation needs is reform.  -The Patriot Post

Hilly Clinton Choking At Event-
More Evidence She’s Unfit?
 Rick Wells
.
.
{constitutionrising.com} ~ Hilly Clinton didn’t seem to have inadvertently allowed the truth to pass across her lips, but that is one probable explanation for her choking attack while speaking at the Jewish Federation of Greater Des Moines... She’s impervious to lies so that couldn’t have been the trigger. As she gags it’s hard not to think of the last moments of those she left to die in Benghazi, of the cattle-prod used on Ambassador Stevens and how those who were abandoned struggled for air in the thick smoke during the attacks. Some might say she’s got this and much more due and coming. Her health has been a source of both whispers and questions from her opponents, most notably Donald Trump, who has on numerous instances questioned why she makes an appearance and then disappears for extended periods of time, questioning whether she has the stamina to be president or to even be a candidate.

Taxpayers Targeted at Higher Rates
Under Democratic Presidents

.
{freebeacon.com} ~ The Internal Revenue Service targets individual taxpayers and corporations for audits at higher rates when Democrats are in control of the White House... according to a study highlighted by Harvard University’s Shorenstein Center for Media, Politics and Public Policy. The study by Sutirtha Bagchi, an assistant professor of economics at Villanova University, examined IRS budget and personnel figures dating back to 1978 to determine “whether presidential administrations use executive power to affect IRS resources and priorities and thus influence the effective tax rate to support their larger policy goals,” according to the Shorenstein Center. The study found a statistically significant correlation between the party of the president and the number of individual income tax returns audited by the IRS. On average, four percent more individual income tax audits were performed under Democratic administrations than under Republican   administrations.         http://freebeacon.com/issues/study-taxpayers-targeted-at-higher-rat...

Hundreds Of Millions Lost Playing nObama’s
Green Car Roulette
 Rick Wells
.
.
{constitutionrising.com} ~ The record for nObama’s many “green” energy investments is one of failure in a realm which is structured in a manner which should make it incredibly easy to succeed... The risk is largely placed upon the American taxpayer though grants, start up funding and subsidies. With that favorable economic environment, you’d almost have to be trying to fail, to be involved just to get your hands on the front end money in order to book a loser. We’re all familiar with Solyndra, but the electric car business is also a great way for nObama and his raiders to fleece the American people. Of course there’s absolutely no justification for him playing auto mogul with our money, but he’s the dictator so he’ll do what he wants. Just let us try and stop him. He’s got “justifications” based upon the number of jobs he’s building and other empty arguments that convince the stupid among us. The government isn’t our investment arm and we shouldn’t be the captive investors. It’s not his money.

South Carolina Democrat Withdraws
Support for Hilly Clinton

.
{freebeacon.com} ~ A South Carolina lawmaker withdrew his support for Hilly Clinton Monday, instead electing to back Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) for president... South Carolina state representative Justin Bamberg decided that Sanders unveiled a superior platform to better the lives of individuals living in the South and across the nation, the New York Times reported. “Hilly Clinton is more a representation of the status quo when I think about politics or about what it means to be a Democrat,” Bamberg said. “Bernie Sanders on the other hand is bold. He doesn’t think like everyone else. He is not afraid to call things as they are. ” Like a socialist country. Bamberg you're an idiot.

Sen Jeff Sessions Was Censored...
htt Rick Wells

{constitutionrising.com} ~ ATTENTION  AMERICANS – THIS POST WAS DELETED BY FACEBOOK UNDER THE TITLE OF: Sen Sessions – DHS Ignores Overstays, Temporary Visas Become Permanent Illegals... It is now reposted under the words of a United States Senator specifically, although they were pretty much in line to begin with. UPDATE – A Second attempt wouldn’t work either. We were forced to remove the word “Visa” as that subject is apparently now forbidden by our dictators, nObama and Zuckerberg. We also changed the picture  – who knows what these self-righteous anti-American tyrants object to? This is the same European Merkel Nazi-sytle FACEBOOK CENSORSHIP that is spreading from that continent to ours. This is an assault on free speech, nothing new to Facebook in how they deal with patriotic Americans. It’s nObama and Zuckerberg playing god. They refused to allow the words of a sitting US Senator to be posted verbatim. Maybe they’re just too ignorant to know who he is or the Indians in the call center don’t know what a Senator is. The article continues below with the heading in its original form. On Monday Senator Jeff Sessions posted a summary of just how lax, sloppy, unprofessional and dangerous things are at the Department of Homeland “Security.”  Perhaps in the interest of civility, maintaining a working relationship or because he’s naturally a gentleman, the Senator didn’t phrase his comments using those words. There’s no mistaking the message, DHS is not doing their job, they’re not serving the American people, and they’re causing us great harm.        http://constitutionrising.com/archives/25275

Answer: Who Really Is Guilty
of Hijacking Islam?
Lt. Colonel James G. Zumwalt, USMC
.
.
{aim.org} ~ The 2016 presidential race provides the ideal venue for addressing a critical question yet to be asked of any candidate... Its answer is critical both to the conduct of our nation’s foreign policy and protection of our homeland. Yet, if asked, not a single candidate is qualified to respond. In a world plagued by “violent extremism“—President Barack nObama’s non-descript term for “terrorism”-by those allegedly acting in Islam’s name—a link he will not make—the question is: Does the disconnect between Islam and terrorism stem from Islamic extremists hijacking a peaceful religion, giving it a violent interpretation, or from Islamic moderates hijacking a violent religion, giving it a peaceful interpretation?        http://www.aim.org/guest-column/answer-who-really-is-guilty-of-hija...

Hilly Clinton Faces Legal and Political Obstacles
in Presidential Bid
Roger Aronoff
.
.
{aim.org} ~ This is not how Hilly Clinton’s run for the White House was supposed to go: full of never-ending scandals, with a close primary competitor, and two FBI investigations... There is but one week to go before the Iowa caucuses, where the first votes in this year’s presidential race will finally be cast. While Hilly Clinton is still the clear leader in national polls and likely to receive the nomination, the numbers are  extremely close in Iowa between Hilly and the democratic socialist candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). And in the first actual primary, the following week in New Hampshire, Mrs. Clinton is trailing in a CNN poll by almost 30 points. Yes, New Hampshire is right next to Sanders’ home state of Vermont, but Sanders’ potential victories in Iowa and New Hampshire could dramatically alter the dynamics of the race. But winning the Democratic presidential primary might be the least of Mrs. Clinton’s worries. As the State Department continues its monthly release of Mrs. Clinton’s emails, in compliance with a federal judge overseeing their release, the news keeps getting worse and worse. In the meantime, the weekend snowstorm served as an excuse for the State Department to try to get an extra month to release the final batch of emails, which would conveniently be after—instead of before—the first four states’ primaries and caucuses.

No Cure Or Vaccine – Zika Virus Targets
Infants With Brain Damage,
Exploding Across Americas
Rick Wells
.
.
{constitutionrising.com} ~ The information is chilling and the threat life-altering. The World Health Organization is warning that the Zika virus will likely spread to every country in the Americas except for Canada and Chile... That puts the United States and the health of unknown numbers of future newborn American babies at risk of the associated brain damage. The outbreak is currently restricted to the Caribbean and Latin America, but that is expected to change soon. Marina Portnaya cited statements from the Director General of the World Health Organization describing the outbreak as “extremely worrisome.” To date the infection has been found in 21 countries, in North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. The number of nations impacted as well as the number of cases are expected to grow. While the actual transmission of the Zika virus has not yet been reported to have occurred within the United States, over twenty cases have been reported in the United States to those who traveled in the affected regions, with one Hawaiian baby having been born with the associated microcephaly  following a trip to Brazil by its pregnant mother. Characteristics include an undersized brain, brain damage and an unusually small head.        http://constitutionrising.com/archives/25252

DeLay’s “Friends” say FBI won’t
Delay Hilly Indictment
Andrew McNealy
.
.
{citizen-action.com} ~ Tom Delay knows a thing or two about indictments. The former congressman from Texas was indicted in 2002 for violating election law. The former Majority Whip was convicted nearly a decade later but the ruling was eventually overturned... Appearing on NewsMax TV, Delay told the host “I have friends that are in the FBI and they tell me they are ready to indict.” DeLay was referring to the ongoing scandal surrounding Hilly Clinton’s use of unsecure email servers for confidential and secret communications. In the event the FBI recommends indictment and nObama’s attorney general chooses not to indict, DeLay says that the FBI will go public with the information that they have.

Social Security Inching Its Way Toward
Bankruptcy, Says CBO
Bob Adelmann
.
.
{thenewamerican.com} ~ The latest report from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) on the financial condition of Social Security merely confirms what the Social Security trustees have been saying for years... The welfare-state program that spent nearly a trillion dollars last year isn’t sustainable. In July Treasury Secretary dazzled the press with his waffle: The program is safe and sound, but it faces problems: Social Security is secure today and will remain secure in the years to come but it faces challenges that need to be addressed. It's either secure, or it isn’t. Each year since 2010, the program has spent more than it received, and each year that gap has widened. It’s either solvent, or it isn’t. Insolvency is when a program is unable to pay its bills. Bankruptcy is the formal recognition by a court of that fact.  http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/congress/item/22389-social-sec...

The GOP Gets The Iran Prisoner Swap Wrong
CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER
.
.
{freedomsback.com} ~ Give President nObama credit. His Iran nuclear deal may be disastrous but the packaging was brilliant. The near-simultaneous prisoner exchange was meant to distract from last Saturday’s official implementation of the sanctions-lifting deal. And it did. The Republicans concentrated almost all their fire on the swap sideshow.
.
And in denouncing the swap, they were wrong. True, we should have made the prisoner release a precondition for negotiations. But that pre-emptive concession was made long ago among many others, such as granting Iran in advance the right to enrich uranium. The remaining question was getting our prisoners released before we gave away all our leverage upon implementation of the nuclear accord. We did.
.
Republicans say: We shouldn’t negotiate with terror states. But we do and we should. How else do you get hostages back? And yes, of course negotiating encourages further hostage taking. But there is always something to be gained by kidnapping Americans. This swap does not affect that truth one way or the other.
.
And here, we didn’t give away much. The seven released Iranians, none of whom has blood on his hands, were sanctions busters and a hacker, and sanctions are essentially over now. The slate is clean.
.
But how unfair, say the critics. We released prisoners duly convicted in a court of law. Iran released perfectly innocent, unjustly jailed hostages.
.
Yes, and so what? That’s just another way of saying we have the rule of law, they don’t. It doesn’t mean we abandon our hostages. Natan Sharansky was a prisoner of conscience who spent eight years in the Gulag on totally phony charges. He was exchanged for two real Soviet spies. Does anyone think we should have said no?
.
The one valid criticism of the Iranian swap is that we left one, perhaps two, Americans behind and unaccounted for. True. But the swap itself was perfectly reasonable. And cleverly used by the administration to create a heartwarming human interest story to overshadow a rotten diplomatic deal, just as the Alan Gross release sweetened a Cuba deal that gave the store away to the Castro brothers.
.
The real story of Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 — “Implementation Day” of the Iran deal — was that it marks a historic inflection point in the geopolitics of the Middle East. In a stroke, Iran shed almost four decades of rogue-state status and was declared a citizen of good standing of the international community, open to trade, investment and diplomacy. This, without giving up, or even promising to change, its policy of subversion and aggression. This, without having forfeited its status as the world’s greatest purveyor of terrorism.
.
Overnight, it went not just from pariah to player but from pariah to dominant regional power, flush with $100 billion in unfrozen assets and virtually free of international sanctions. The oil trade alone will pump tens of billions of dollars into its economy. The day after Implementation Day, President Hassan Rouhani predicted 5 percent growth — versus the contracting, indeed hemorrhaging, economy in pre-negotiation 2012 and 2013.
.
On Saturday, the Iranian transport minister announced the purchase of 114 Airbuses from Europe. This inaugurates a rush of deals binding European companies to Iran, thoroughly undermining nObama’s pipedream of “snapback sanctions” if Iran cheats.
.
Cash-rich, reconnected with global banking and commerce, and facing an Arab world collapsed into a miasma of raging civil wars, Iran has instantly become the dominant power of the Middle East. Not to worry, argued the administration. The nuclear opening will temper Iranian adventurism and empower Iranian moderates.
.
The opposite is happening. And it’s not just the ostentatious, illegal ballistic missile launches; not just Iran’s president reacting to the most puny retaliatory sanctions by ordering his military to accelerate the missile program; not just the videotaped and broadcast humiliation of seized U.S. sailors.
.
Look at what the mullahs are doing at home. Within hours of “implementation,” the regime disqualified 2,967 of roughly 3,000 moderate candidates from even running in parliamentary elections next month. And just to make sure we got the point, the supreme leader reiterated that Iranian policy — aggressively interventionist and immutably anti-American — continues unchanged.
.
In 1938, the morning after Munich, Europe woke up to Germany as the continent’s dominant power. Last Sunday, the Middle East woke up to Iran as the regional hegemon, with a hand — often predominant — in the future of Syria, Yemen, Iraq, the Gulf Arab states and, in time, in the very survival of Israel.
.
And we’re arguing over an asymmetric hostage swap.

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.

You don't get to interrupt me
