Nunes - If Trump Was Set-Up, Spied on
And DOJ Covering It Up - It's a Real Problem
{ rickwells.us } ~ House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes joined the Tuesday broadcast of Fox and Friends... and discussed the increasingly obvious frame up of President Trump by the globalist Democrats, RINOs and other assorted DC Swamp creatures. Brian Kilmeade leads off the questioning, asking, “Why is it important to find out who was possibly on the inside of the Trump camp informing people on the outside?” Nunes first lays out the progression of how we got to where we are, noting the actions of Fusion GPS in fabricating the phony dossier on behalf of Democrats, the liar-Clintons, scum-Soros and liar-nObama regime that was used as the basis for the ongoing COUP attempt and campaign interference, including the politicization of government agencies. Nunes points to a comment made by Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS during his testimony that stated there was a source within the Trump campaign, which he has since verified as being a truthful statement. He points to the evasive actions of Simpson in the aftermath as evidence that the spy likely existed...   https://rickwells.us/nunes-trump-setup-spied-doj/

Time to End Net Neutrality Regulation Once and for All
by James Gattuso
{ dailysignal.com } ~ Scientists tell us there’s no such thing as a perpetual motion machine, but they haven’t seen the interminable debate over network neutrality rules... which has raged now for close to two decades. Late last week, the Federal Communications Commission—perhaps a bit hopefully—announced that the final repeal of the rules imposed previously by the FCC would take effect on June 11. But that news was overshadowed by reports from Capitol Hill that opponents of repeal had enough support to force a Senate vote to block the rescission. Supporters of net neutrality regulation shouldn’t get unduly excited about this roll call, which is technically a “resolution of disapproval” under the 1996 Congressional Review Act...

Manafort Case Goes Forward After DC Judge Denies Dismissal Bid
{ newsmax.com } ~ Former Trump campaign Chairman Paul Manafort failed to persuade a Washington judge to dismiss a federal indictment... accusing him of money laundering and working as an unregistered foreign agent. U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson rejected Manafort’s dismissal bid Tuesday, clearing the way for a trial in September. Separately, a judge in Virginia is weighing a similar request to dismiss a tax- and bank-fraud case against him there. “It was logical and appropriate for investigators tasked with the investigation of ‘any links’ between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign to direct their attention to him,” Jackson wrote in her ruling.   https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/manafort-judge-dismissal/2018/05/...

'I gave the US trucks and ammunition to Al Qaeda':
The chaotic US effort to arm Syrian rebels
by Hollie McKay
{ foxnews.com } ~ U.S. military equipment and ammunition, sent to Syria as part of a failed liar-nObama administration plan to find and arm moderate forces to defeat ISIS... were instead simply handed over to an Al Qaeda group, according to the man who said he himself brokered the deal. “I communicated with Al Qaeda’s branch, Al Nusra, to protect and safely escort me and my soldiers for two hours from North Aleppo to West Aleppo,” Maj. Anas Ibrahim Obaid, better known on the battlefield as Abu Zayd, told Fox News from his home in the western Aleppo area. “In exchange, I gave them five pickup trucks and ammunition.” Those trucks and ammo were issued to him by the United States in 2015, part of a $500 million Department of Defense effort to "train and equip" a new "ideologically moderate" force to battle ISIS. The program, one of at least two designed to funnel arms to so-called moderate Syrian rebels, proved to be a spectacular failure for the liar-nObama administration...   http://www.foxnews.com/world/2018/05/15/gave-us-trucks-and-ammuniti...

scum-George Soros: billionaire and bete noire of nationalists
by yahoo.com
{ yahoo.com } ~ The announcement Tuesday that a foundation run by US-Hungarian liberal billionaire scum-George Soros will quit Hungary... puts the spotlight once again on the favourite whipping boy of Western nationalists. Over three decades since it began, scum-Soros's Open Society Foundations (OSF) threw in the towel, citing Hungary's "increasingly repressive political and legal environment". The organisation's departure will be poignant for the 87-year-old financier-cum-philanthropist who emigrated from Hungary after World War II. In recent years Hungary's fiercely anti-immigration Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who himself received a scum-Soros scholarship to study at Oxford, has accused scum-Soros of orchestrating Europe’s migration crisis...The scum is coming here.   https://www.yahoo.com/news/george-soros-billionaire-bete-noire-nati...

Dear Dems: Stop Attacking the Electoral College

by Lewis Morris:  Connecticut became the latest state to break with the Constitution last week by joining the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. The state Senate approved and Democrat Gov. Dannel Malloy vowed to sign a bill that would pledge the state’s electoral votes to the national popular vote winner in presidential elections.

The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact is a scheme developed by opponents of the Electoral College — generally leftists who would rather see the president of the United States elected by popular vote than via the Electoral College system the Founders established in the Constitution.
The Electoral College was designed to make the presidential election a truly national contest. It forces candidates to recognize all regions and not ignore small states and rural areas in favor of large states and major metropolitan areas. The process, Alexander Hamilton wrote in Federalist 68, “affords a moral certainty, that the office of President will never fall to the lot of any man who is not in an eminent degree endowed with the requisite qualifications. Talents for low intrigue, and the little arts of popularity, may alone suffice to elevate a man to the first honors in a single State; but it will require other talents, and a different kind of merit, to establish him in the esteem and confidence of the whole Union, or of so considerable a portion of it as would be necessary to make him a successful candidate for the distinguished office of President of the United States.”
Democrats are not happy with the Electoral College, however. liar-Hillary Clinton, as we are repeatedly reminded, won the national popular vote by roughly three million votes. If it weren’t for the Electoral College (and men, and women, and whites, and James Comey, and the Russia, and… and…), she would be president right now. Therefore, in the eyes of Democrats, the Electoral College is no longer relevant.
But consider this: Over 20% of Clinton’s 65.8 million votes came from California and New York alone. Take those two deep-blue states out of contention and she would have lost the popular vote by three million. liar-Clinton didn’t campaign hard enough in the Rust Belt, losing states she mistakenly assumed would stay in her column. liar-Clinton ignored these states in favor of big blue vote buckets like Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, San Francisco and other major metropolitan areas.
In fact, the 2016 election is proof positive that we do need the Electoral College and that it is still relevant.
It’s typical Democrat behavior to assume that because they can’t seem to win something, then the game must be rigged. This is why they came up with the national popular vote scheme in the first place. Recognizing that their most loyal voters tended to be in metropolitan areas, and that these areas were growing (more Americans live in cities than in rural areas), Democrats pined for a popular-vote strategy that could secure them a lasting national presence as it has in several states with large metropolitan areas. California and New York are perfect examples.
The National Popular Vote Compact began in 2007. Laws were introduced in states that would pledge that state’s Electoral College votes to the winner of the national popular vote regardless of the outcome of that state’s vote. In other words, if a given state votes for the Republican candidate, but a Democrat wins the national popular vote, then that state’s electors must pledge to vote for the Democrat. The compact goes into effect when the total number of states on board reaches 270 electoral votes, the winning number to become president.
With the recent addition of Connecticut, there are now 11 states, plus the District of Columbia, in the compact. They are all deep blue states, of course, and they hold a total of 172 electoral votes. Given that these states are unlikely to actually vote Republican anytime in the foreseeable future, this compact is currently almost meaningless. However, according to the compact’s website, there are 12 more states in which the bill has passed at least one chamber, totaling 96 electoral votes, which would bring the compact total to a very relevant 268.
It’s ironic from a historical perspective that Connecticut joined the compact. It was Connecticut’s Roger Sherman who argued against a national popular vote for president during the Constitutional Convention of 1787. He, like many Founding Fathers, feared the tyranny of the majority, noting that the people at large “will generally vote for some man in their own state, and the largest state will have the best chance for the appointment.”
Today’s Democrats believe that just the opposite is taking place — that smaller states and rural populations (i.e., Republicans) are running the country. Barack liar-nObama complained after the 2016 election that the Electoral College works against Democrats. And liar-Clinton has been calling for the abolition of the Electoral College since scum-Al Gore’s loss in 2000.
The case can be made that the Electoral College does favor Republicans, but that may be because the GOP knows how to run a presidential election better than Democrats from a technical standpoint (if not always politically). It could also just be the ebb and flow of presidential politics. Coalitions come and go, states change from blue to red and from red to blue. It is the nature of politics, and it is how our federal republic works.
The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact is not a solution to this issue because there is no problem. If Democrats want to win a presidential election, then they should front a candidate who wants to be president of all the people instead of just those she doesn’t consider “deplorable.”   ~The Patriot Pos

After Years Of Stagnation Under Obama
Household Income Hits 50-Year High

Image result for money

Former President Barack Obama got plenty of praise for shepherding us through the recovery from the 2008 economic crisis. However, those on Main Street, USA, knew the truth — things weren’t any better than they had been when George W. Bush left office.

As The Weekly Standard reported in 2016, median household income when Obama came into office in 2009 was $56,731. In 2015, six years into his presidency, that number was $56,516 — a decrease of just over $200.

By the time he left office, it’s true that media household income had risen to $59,471 — but that was essentially the same as it had been in December, 2007, at the end of the “Great Recession” and just a few weeks before Obama took office, when it was $59,549.

So, how’s The Donald doing?

Well, as Investor’s Business Daily reported, a new study from Sentier Research found that the median household income in April was $61,483 — a 50-year high.

That’s up from $59,471 in January of 2017.

The firm tracks income using census data and adjusts for inflation — so even a slightly weaker dollar doesn’t account for the increase.

Bad News For Dems: Household Income Hits All-Time High Under Trump … And He's Getting Credit For It!!!

Household Income Hits All-Time High Under Trump, And He's Getting Credit For It

A new report shows that the median household income has climbed 3% since President Trump took office. It's another sign of a strong economy, and at least one poll shows the public credits Trump for...

That’s great news for the country, but maybe not the best news for Democrats.

“This is just another indication that the economy has notably strengthened under Trump. And polls show that the public’s mood has brightened considerably as a result,” Investor’s Business Daily reported.

“The latest IBD/TIPP Economic Optimism Index is 53.6. This index has been in positive territory (anything over 50 is optimistic) since Trump took office. The Quality of Life Index, meanwhile, hit a 14-year high in May and the Financial Stress Index is at an all-time low.”

That economic data is followed by a lot of polls that seem to show that the “blue wave” expected in the November midterms breaking and rolling back into the sea.

A new Reuters poll found that a generic Republican would beat a generic Democrat by six points. Back in March, the Democrats were up by nine points. A CBS poll found that Democrats had a two-point advantage on the generic ballot — hardly “wave” material.

The CBS poll also found that 68 percent of Americans believed Trump’s policies deserved at least some of the credit for the economic situation, with 35 percent saying he deserved a “great deal” of the credit.

Sixty-four percent of respondents rated the economy as “somewhat good” or “very good.” In a CNN poll, 57 percent of voters said that “things are going well in the U.S.” In February, that was 49 percent.

Perhaps the most important figure: Under Obama, when Gallup asked whether it was a good time to find “a quality job in the U.S.,” the highest number that administration ever achieved was 45 percent. Under Trump, that number is 67 percent — the highest number in the 17-year history of the poll.

While Trump’s personal numbers haven’t seen the same bounce, they’re still up — and that’s the important thing. Thanks to the relentless campaign of personal attacks against him, Trump’s stated approval rating has always been a lot lower than it probably is.

Don’t believe me? Just ask Hillary Clinton. For all of the personal barbs and attacks, 2016 ultimately came down to the economy. So will 2018 — and that’s not good news for the Democrats.
