YouTube Restricts... Mike Rowe?
by Thomas Gallatin:  Last Thursday, Mike Rowe, the immensely likable host of “Dirty Jobs,” announced via a Facebook post that his YouTube channel had been restricted. Now anyone who has ever watched a Mike Rowe video would be shocked to hear this news, as his videos are often some of the most carefully worded, timely and poignant thoughts on a great variety of issues — hence his overall popularity. And one thing Rowe trumpets is respect for the value of hard work, no matter the job.

In this vein, a few months back conservative commentator Dennis Prager invited Rowe to give the commencement speech for his virtual university, Prager University. Rowe gladly obliged with a video entitled “Don’t Follow Your Passion,” which has been viewed over six million times. Suddenly, without prior warning, Rowe received a message from YouTube notifying him that his video for Prager U was “determined” to be “inappropriate.” Rowe explains that he was shocked at the news as he had not run afoul of YouTube’s appropriate content policies, or so he thought. Rowe said that he then reread YouTube’s policy fine print and found the following sentence: “Some videos don’t violate our policies, but may not be appropriate for all audiences. In these cases, our review team may place an age restriction when we’re notified of the content.” In other words, YouTube’s censors are essentially saying they will restrict you if they don’t like your message.
After Rowe posted his message to Facebook it didn’t take long for YouTube to reverse course and lift the restriction imposed upon his content. Fortunately for Rowe he has a big enough audience that he was able to effectively call out YouTube for hypocrisy, but what about the lesser-known user who finds himself victim of a similar prejudice?

Acoustic Analysis Of Bullet Strikes Vs Rifle
Report Prove Second Vegas Shooter Location
{} ~ Health Ranger Mike Adams changes hats to make a scientific acoustic analysis of the shots fired during the Mandalay Bay massacre... and he came up with what he offers as strong evidence that a second shooter was present and engaged in the attack. He presents his evidence and his method for arriving at that determination and invites law enforcement, particularly the FBI to use what he developed or contact him for more information. Adams is an avid shooter himself, who happens to be armed during the presentation, so he’s familiar with the behavior and function of firearms. He calculated the difference between the sound of the .223 rounds hitting the pavement and the subsequent report to determine the distance from which they were fired...
Palestinian Normalization -- With Hamas, Not Israel
Palestinian and Israeli women from
the "Women Wage Peace" group
by Bassam Tawil
{} ~ When Palestinian women took part in a march with Israeli women for peace this week, they were condemned in the harshest terms by many other Palestinians, who called for their punishment... The Palestinian women who participated in the October 8 event, organized by a group called Women Wage Peace, have been denounced by many of their own people as and "traitors" and "whores." Conversely, when Palestinian Authority (PA) officials held "reconciliation" talks with Hamas leaders in the Gaza Strip and Egypt during the same period, many Palestinians praised them as "heroes" and "brave." Judging from the reactions of many Palestinians, especially on social media, they prefer peace with Hamas rather than with Israel...
McConnell Changes Rule to
Overcome Obstruction of Trump's Judicial Picks
by Guy Benson
{} ~This may seem like an abstruse parliamentary maneuver -- and it is -- but Mitch McConnell just escalated the judicial wars in a minor but meaningful way... If frustrated conservatives want the GOP Senate majority to "start acting like one," McConnell's decision eliminates a lever Democrats have been using to stymie some of President Trump's judicial picks. In that sense, he's very much acting like a majority leader; a Democratic  one. Try not to let your eyes glaze over as you read the details of this move, which involves dramatically reducing the power of so-called "blue slips" on judges, with which Senators from the home state of a presidential selection have been able to withhold their consent in order to prevent that nomination from moving forward.  Not anymore. McConnell warned Democrats that he was leaning this direction last month, hoping they'd abandon this form of partisan blockade. They didn't. So he's followed through on his threat -- via the Weekly Standard...
Trump nominates
Kirstjen Nielsen to be DHS Secretary
{} ~ President Trump Wednesday nominated White House Deputy Chief of Staff Kirstjen Nielsen to be the new Secretary of Homeland Security... If confirmed, Nielsen would replace White House Chief of Staff John Kelly. Kelly served as Trump's DHS chief for just over six months before replacing Reince Priebus as chief of staff July 31. Elaine Duke has been filling in as acting secretary in the meantime. Nielsen would be the first former DHS staffer to lead the department, which was created by former President George W. Bush in 2003...

OMG!!! Frozen Discoveries You Won’t Believe

by Burt Preluysky

Clearly, the old slogan “What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas” is going to have to be replaced. If there’s anything the media enjoys more than a particularly destructive natural disaster or a Donald Trump mole they can inflate into a mountain, it’s a mass killing.

You can hardly blame them with all that blood and all those individual tragedies to dwell on, ad nauseum. Unfortunately, it follows as the night the day that Democrats will begin once again calling for the usual laws; you know, the ones that even had they already been in effect would have done nothing to prevent the tragedy.

The sad fact is that there are about 330 million people in America. At any given time, some percentage of them are strung out on heroin, cocaine or prescription drugs. Then there is some unknown and unknowable number of people who are simply evil or clearly out of their gourd. Until someone comes up with a way to control hearts and minds, it’s hard to imagine a law that would prevent any of those people from acting out their sickest fantasies or their most demented psychoses.

When Democrats call for more gun control laws, even they know that Chicago and Washington, D.C., have the most draconian laws in America, and also happen to have the highest homicide rates.

Those who most vehemently defend the 2nd Amendment accuse the Democrats of wanting to confiscate their guns. They’re right, of course. That is what the Democrats want. But it would be an extremely selective confiscation. They would never think of upsetting their base by confiscating the guns currently in the hands of black and Hispanic gangbangers.

On the subject of deaths by gunshot, Mark Levin shared some interesting statistics the other day. Apparently, there are, on average, 33,000 such deaths every year in the U.S. In 22,000 cases, they’re suicides, 85% of the time the victims are male.  Of the remaining 11,000, a certain number are accidental, but a huge number are black-on-black homicides.

If any of these 11,000 murders are committed by members of the NRA or any of the other 2nd Amendment groups, the number must be so negligible that even Democrats, who would have loved to have heard that the Vegas shooter, Stephen Paddock, was a dues-paying member of the organization, haven’t been able to come up with any.

Unfortunately, just as hurricanes, tornadoes, tidal waves and earthquakes, can’t be avoided, neither can most man-made disasters.

What is so very bizarre is that liberals are now terribly worried about kits that allow people to turn rifles into automatic weapons, even though nobody before Paddock had used the technique to kill hordes of other people in France, England, Spain, Belgium, New York, Orlando or San Bernardino.

The libs insist the kits be outlawed. And yet, they are vehemently opposed to cutting off immigration from nations where jihadism is as prevalent as illiteracy and female mutilation. So, apparently, it’s not senseless murders that people like clown-Schumer and Pulosi actually object to, or they wouldn’t be opposed to profiling those most likely to commit them.

At this point, Paddock’s motive is still unknown. Personally, I hope the authorities discover that he was acting under the influence of ISIS, as the group claims. I would prefer having Islamists to blame to discovering that the horrific massacre was brought on because Paddock had let a brain tumor go untreated.

What liberals never seem to consider is that there are already federal, state and municipal, laws on the books making murder illegal. And most normal people don’t make the same fine distinction as Democrats between murders by guns and those that involve, knives, fertilizer, pressure cookers and vehicles.

Passing a law may give certain undistinguished people (aka politicians) something to brag about, but until we put on our big boy pants and acknowledge that some crimes are inevitable, we’ll continue to stumble blindly from one tragedy to another, all the while insisting that "Something must be done."

That isn’t to say that we can’t prevent a certain number of crimes, but that would mean institutionalizing the psychotic; dealing with Muslims in an adult fashion, which would include monitoring their mosques; and making every crime committed with a gun, whether or not it was even fired, a capital offense.

Otherwise, I’m afraid inevitable means inevitable.

● I missed it, but my wife saw Jane Fonda being interviewed by Megyn Kelly.  Apparently, at one point, Kelly asked Fonda, two months shy of 80, about her plastic surgery, and Fonda threw a hissy fit. Apparently, she thought the question was off-limits. It strikes me as odd that someone who has spent a fortune trying in vain to pass for 50 or 60 wouldn’t want to discuss it.

I mean, usually, when people fork over a lot of money for a house, a car, a boat, an exotic vacation or some diamond doodad, they're anxious to talk about it. I can’t imagine why it would be any different with a facelift or a tummy tuck.

Besides, would Ms. Fonda have preferred it if Megyn Kelly had asked her how it feels to be a has-been, a traitor and an unindicted war criminal?

Come to think of it, I suspect because my TV is smaller than my wife’s, that even if I’d wanted to, I wouldn’t have been able to watch the interview because  those two egos would have been too large for my screen.

● Speaking of people who belong in jail, liar-Hillary Clinton’s latest brainstorm is to prevent mass-killings by banning silencers. Apparently, she thought that Paddock was using a silencer on his weapons. He wasn’t. Even if he’d tried, it would have been impossible to mute those particular weapons. You might as well try to mute, well, liar-Hillary Clinton.

Speaking of which, that’s one silencer that would make some smart cookie a bloody fortune.

● In case you’re one of the lucky ones who didn’t catch it, I saw Barack liar-nObama paying homage to his wife of 25 years.

There he was, all smarm and no charm as usual, smirking into the camera and cooing: “The fact that you would put up with me for a quarter of a century is a testament to what a wonderful, patient, saintly person you are.”

As usual, when he talks, I talk back. This time I said: “Hey, mister, what about the rest of us? What are we -- chopped liver? At least Michelle got to live in the White House and take all those expensive vacations. We had to put up with you for eight interminable years, and we’re still being forced to put up with you and your un-American resistance movement, which is wholly or in large part financed by that unrepentant Nazi, George “The Prince of Darkness” Soros.”

● Frank Capozzi, the pride of Ephraim, Wisconsin, couldn’t overcome the urge to send me a list of inanimate objects that have been given gender identities. And who am I to stand between a man and his passion?

So, Freezer Bags are male because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.

Sponges are female because they are soft, squeezable and retain water.

Tires are male because they go bald easily and are often over-inflated.

Web Pages are female because they’re constantly being looked at and frequently getting hit on.

Trains are definitely male because they always use the same old lines for picking up people.

Egg Timers are female because, over time, all the weight shifts to the bottom.

Remote Controls are male because they give a man pleasure; he’d be lost without one, and while he doesn’t always know which buttons to push, he just keeps trying.

Gun Control Crowd Silent After Black Female
 Kills Three In Maryland Shooting

A 26-year-old female stormed a RiteAid distribution center with a pistol this morning in Aberdeen, MD, killing three before turning the weapon on herself, according to police.

“Our suspect is a lone female suspect, age 26, who had a last known address in Baltimore County. She has died at the hospital from fatal injury, a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” Harford County Sheriff Jeff Gahler said.

The shooter has been identified by multiple news outlets as Snochia Moseley, a disgruntled temporary employee who also happens to be a black female.

Normally in the case of a mass shooting incident like this, Twitter would be ablaze with calls for gun control measures, inane nonsense about terrorism, labels of toxic masculinity and dismantling gun rights groups like the NRA.

But something is different about today’s shooting: it was not carried out by a white male, leading to deafening silence from the usual suspects in the anti-gun world.

Moms Demand Action, a gun control group partnered with far left Everytown for Gun Safety, has been silent except for a generic “condolences” message posted to its Twitter page.

The group’s founder, ever-outspoken Shannon Watts, has not said a word about the shooting on her active Twitter feed.

There has been nothing but silence from petulant David Hogg, face of the Hitler youth pre-pubescent gun control crowd, who rose to national prominence after the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in February which killed 17.

Leftist activist Michael Moore has not weighed in, either (literally or figuratively).

Nor is cable news playing the story on repeat with live coverage, a “BREAKING NEWS” chyron, and gun-control activists on call as guests during every segment.

If all of these “activists” truly believed in the cause, shouldn’t the standard be the same regardless of the ethnicity and gender of the shooter?

Big League Politics reached out to Shannon Watts to ask her just that. She did not return our request for comment.

The FBI, the DEA, the ATF, the Maryland State Police, the Maryland Transportation Authority Police and the local municipal departments of Aberdeen, Havre de Grace and Bel Air are all investigating the incident.
