Acting Asst. Sec. Susan Thornton and EAP team en route to her nomination hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee!
The book is called Keep Raising The Bar and is a follow-up to my first book (free offer days listed on my blog). Although I’m very proud of the first book, most would consider it fairly dry, and perhaps even boring. So I tried to make the second book more engaging, and at times, even a bit funny. To date, those that have read it claim that it is very funny. The chapter on the court stenographer at the Clinton impeachment hearing definitely gets the most laughs. Of course, my goal wasn’t to write a political satire – it was to help steer discussion in this country toward positive change. And as I say in the book, there is too much diversion, and not enough tangible results – and after all, results really do matter! So if you do read the book, please take a moment and leave a comment or write a review. After all, if the American people don’t get more actively involved in politics, I’m not sure anything will ever change. I’ll create separate discussion threads for each chapter (just go to the bottom of the Amazon page and look for discussion threads).
As for my first book, I want it to be available for free to all public and private schools in this country. This is why I announce in advance the 5 days per quarter where the book is free to download (see my other blog post for free offer).
