 Cracks in nObama's 'Feel-Good Story'
We've known for some time that Barack nObama was receiving cooked intelligence on the Islamic State. We also suspect he wasn't an unwitting recipient, but rather he wanted to hear only how awesome his national security policy is. And he's still lying about all of it. "One of the things I insisted on the day I walked into the Oval Office was that I don’t want intelligence shaded by politics," he pontificated this week. "I don’t want it shaded by the desire to tell a feel-good story."
That's an absurd claim. This is the same guy who repeatedly told us al-Qaida was "decimated" and "on the run," the Islamic State was the "JV team," and Benghazi was attacked over a video — all lies told in a bid to win re-election. And he still downplays the threat, dismissing the Islamic State after the Paris attacks as just a “bunch of killers with good social media.”
Meanwhile, the Pentagon inspector general's investigation into manipulated intelligence continues, and new evidence has surfaced that CENTCOM analysts were pressured to "cut it out" and "toe the line" when it came to intelligence reports. And nObama ignored anything contrary that did make it through. Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who ran the defense agency at the time, put it this way: “It was disregarded by the White House. … Frankly, at the White House, it didn’t meet the narrative.”
Finally, speaking of the narrative about nObama having the Islamic State "contained," his State Department just issued a worldwide travel warning due to jihadi terrorism. And the warning extends for three months. Happy Thanksgiving from Barack nObama.  -The Patriot Post

 How About a Trade?
According to Washington Post editorial page editor Fred Hiatt, "Sheltering even 10,000 refugees, of any faith, would have mostly symbolic value. Four million Syrians have fled, with even more internally displaced. Half of all Syrians have been forced from their homes. For that, the nObama administration bears some responsibility — and the reasons should be something voters think about in 2016."
Some responsibility? Let's be clear: The primary reason for the Syrian exodus is the rise of the Islamic State. And the primary reason for that is Barack nObama's profoundly nescient retreat from Iraq in order to keep his 2012 campaign pledge. But even a critical Washington Post editorial won't connect those dots.
This is not about "American inaction," this is about nObama's actions. His legacy is now secure — and it's defined by an epic and catastrophic human crisis. Their blood is on his hands.
So we propose a compromise. We'll take 10,000 Syrian refugees if Syria will take nObama.  -The Patriot Post

 Ahmed's Cash for Clocks
Remember Ahmed "The Clock Kid" Mohamed? The 14-year-old Texas student who was interrogated for bringing a homemade "clock" to school that looked more like an explosive? His story begat sympathy and remorse from fellow Muslims and Islamic sympathizers all around the globe. Not long after the incident, Ahmed and his family moved to Qatar to escape supposed discrimination in America. Well, he's back in the news, this time seeking reparations — to the tune of $15 million.
According to The Washington Post, Ahmed's family is "seeking not only financial reparations but written apologies from the city's mayor and police chief." The Post continues, "The letter of demand alleges that officials at Ahmed's school never really thought that his homemade clock, assembled from 'spare parts and scrap pieces he had around the house,' was a bomb. Attorneys claim that Ahmed showed it to another teacher earlier in the day without consequence. But in his English class, a teacher told him it 'looked like' a bomb."
Ahmed's attorney Kelly Hollingsworth says the family is experiencing cognitive dissonance: "Qatar is nice, but it is not Texas. ... Are [the Mohameds] devout people devoted to their faith? Absolutely. But they are Texans, too, and they want to come home. What we are seeking is for them to be able to do that with their heads held high." That's interesting. At the very least, the family quietly concedes that America, despite its "discriminatory" demeanor, is still a better place to live than a predominately Muslim country. But why do they need $15 million to keep "their heads held high"? National Review's Ian Tuttle writes, "The City of Irving and Irving ISD should refuse them a single red cent. If the Mohameds want reparations, then they ought to have to make their case — not before a gaggle of cameras, but in a court of law." Maybe, just maybe, this legal lottery was the plan all along.  -The Patriot Post

Reflections on Thanksgiving, Past and Present
As we approach Thanksgiving Day, a day when we set aside time to give thanks to Almighty God for the blessings He has bestowed upon us, it's worth reflecting on the early days of our country and assess where we are now.
Our celebration of Thanksgiving is rooted in the first “harvest feast” in 1621 following the establishment in 1620 of Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts by a group of religious refugees known as Pilgrims.
These Puritan “separatists” had originally fled to Holland in 1608 to escape religious persecution by the Church of England. They had suffered persecution and imprisonment for their beliefs and were seeking to worship God freely as they chose to, rather than being dictated by the effectively state-run church. They found this freedom in Holland, but the culture there was corrupt and degraded, so the Pilgrims returned to England and subsequently arranged for travel to the New World.
After an extremely difficult eight-week voyage on the Mayflower, they dropped anchor on Nov. 11, 1620, at Province town Harbor off the coast of what is now known as Massachusetts. On Dec. 11, they signed the Mayflower Compact, which is America’s original document for civil government. This document introduced self-government and became part of the foundation upon which the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were built. -The Patriot Post

Refugee terrorists Attacked Americans On US Soil – nObama’s Jihad
{rickwells.us} ~ By now it is quite apparent that the jihadist occupying the White House, Hussein nObama, is intent on importing a terrorist army into the United States, his supposed refugees...  He’s engaging in a standard disinformation campaign to achieve his terrorist objectives, utilizing not only the corrupt cur dog media but the moronic simpletons of the left who fall all over themselves in their attempts to appear to be enlightened humanitarians, too good to recognize that evil does exist and has them in their sights. Those useful idiots are as much of the enemy as the Marxists in the White House because it is their naiveté that enables the nObama/hanoi-Kerry/Johnson treachery. In fighting the enemy within, Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has released a list of terrorists who the United States State Department invited in, just as the Marxist subversive in the White House is arguing we should now do with the Syrian hordes. The invitees showed their appreciation just as expected by killing or attempting to kill their generous, patsy hosts.     http://rickwells.us/archives/22727

 Everything Bad Skyrockets Under nObama
b9Fnqnv2BMp247TwhbgtwK0XQTYRqYReyBl9QoBc_CxRemBojIknkt7cB3GWRVu-Jzy71v4dsBsv04v1ZiYdcs5OjZ__F9gC7epPGH7SIWZdBi_a2F0unQCybsDeMaa-=s0-d-e1-ft#%3Ca%20rel%3Dnofollow%20href= {nicedeb} ~ Have you ever caught yourself saying, “nObama’s policies are going to get a lot of people killed” – only to correct yourself – “actually, I’m sure they’ve already gotten a lot of people killed.”... Well, you were right. Terrorism across the globe has skyrocketed during the nObama years and the carnage has been quantified. nObama’s weak foreign policy has led to the slaughter of approximately 63,214 people over just a three year period. nObama has probably never heard this John Stuart Mill quote, but it pertains to him and his miserable cohorts. “War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse. When a people are used as mere human instruments for firing cannon or thrusting bayonets, in the service and for the selfish purposes of a master, such war degrades a people. A war to protect other human beings against tyrannical injustice; a war to give victory to their own ideas of right and good, and which is their own war, carried on for an honest purpose by their free choice, — is often the means of their regeneration. A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. As long as justice and injustice have not terminated their ever-renewing fight for ascendancy in the affairs of mankind, human beings must be willing, when need is, to do battle for the one against the other.”

Islamic State Radicalizes ‘Thousands’ in United States
{Daniel Wiser} ~ The Islamic State has likely radicalized thousands of people in the United States, according to a new report, raising concerns that supporters of the terrorist group could be plotting domestic attacks similar to the recent shootings and bombings in Paris... The Threat Knowledge Group, an organization led by the counterterrorism experts Sebastian and Katharine Gorka, has compiled a list of 82 individuals in the United States who were affiliated with the Islamic State (also known as ISIS or ISIL) and apprehended by law enforcement officials, including those who traveled or attempted to travel to Iraq and Syria, launched domestic attacks, or participated in recruiting or fundraising. The Gorkas note in a new report that almost one third of these individuals had plotted attacks against Americans on U.S. soil in the last 18 months. Sebastian is also an adviser to the Department of Defense, while Katharine has authored several publications about the terrorist threat to the U.S. homeland.

China Again Tests Nuclear Hypersonic Missile
{Bill Gertz} ~ China carried out a sixth flight test of its new high-speed nuclear attack vehicle on Monday designed to defeat U.S. missile defenses or carry out global strikes... The ultra-fast maneuvering strike weapon known as the DF-ZF hypersonic glide vehicle was launched atop a ballistic missile fired from the Wuzhai missile test center in central China’s Shanxi Province, according defense officials. The vehicle separated from its launcher near the edge of the atmosphere and then glided to an impact range several thousand miles away in western China, said officials familiar with details of the test.        http://freebeacon.com/national-security/china-again-tests-nuclear-hypersonic-missile/

nObama’s Unrivaled Treachery – Fight ISIS By Submitting As Sheep...
{rickwells.us} ~ Words are almost insufficient to describe the degree of complete and total anti-American corruption, the duplicity of Hussein nObama in holding the United States hostage to his various, multiple, broad ranging attacks... If they were being done by someone who weren’t actively engaged in a campaign of destruction he could be dismissed as the most naïve of dangerous idiots, a mentally ill person who we have unfortunately found to be in the quite dangerous position of having a suicidal grip on the leadership of our nation. But nObama’s condition goes beyond mental illness to sociopathic evil of the most demonic kind. He’s playing his destructive initiatives and actions off against one another as he assigns unwarranted legitimacy and inevitability to his treasonous activities and proclamations. nObama is painfully and transparently disingenuous as he announces a supposed solidarity with French President Hollande to attend his sovereignty-killing pet project, the fleecing and subjugation of American under the UN by climate fraud, the Cop21 Summit.

Nearly 5K minors crossed U.S. border, almost doubling last year
{latino.foxnews.com} ~ Nearly 5,000 unaccompanied immigrant children were caught illegally crossing the U.S. border with Mexico in October... almost double the number from October 2014, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection data. Also, in the figures released Tuesday, the number of family members crossing together nearly tripled from October 2014 — from 2,162 to 6,029. The numbers spiked despite expectations of lower numbers due to the colder winter months coming, better enforcement along the border and efforts by Mexican authorities to stem the stream of Central American migrants to the U.S. Though tens of thousands of women and children from Central America were caught at the border in summer 2014, it had dropped by nearly half during the 2015 federal fiscal that ended Sept. 30. The 4,973 unaccompanied children caught at the border last month is the highest number that Washington, D.C.-based think tank Washington Office on Latin America has recorded for October since their records began in 2009, said Adam Isacson, a border expert and senior analyst.

Anti-gun Dems Push to Remove Constitutional Rights From...
{Bob Adelmann} ~ Seeking once again to take advantage of an opportunity, anti-gun Democrats are using the horrific massacre in Paris to revive a moribund bill by Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) to remove precious rights from anyone on the government’s “no-fly” or “terrorist watch list.”... Senate Minority Leader dinky-Harry Reid (D-Nev.) called it a “terrorist loophole”: By leaving this terrorist loophole open, Republicans are leaving every community in America vulnerable to attacks by terrorists armed with assault rifles and explosives purchased legally, in broad daylight. What, exactly, is that loophole? It is the whole host of protections provided by the Constitution, and more specifically the Second, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments to it, that guarantee that rights may not be infringed without probable cause and without due process. That’s the “loophole” that dinky-Reid and Feinstein want to close. Merely being on the list does not automatically disqualify an individual from buying a gun. It takes much more than that, a fact that dinky-Reid, Feinstein, and others seem willing to ignore.

UN Adopts Resolution Demanding Israel Return Territory to Syria
{algemeiner.com} ~ The UN General Assembly on Tuesday adopted a resolution demanding Israel give back territories it captured nearly 50 years ago — as well as the people residing in them — to Syria... Turkey, which demands that embattled Syrian President Bashar Assad leave power, backed the resolution, as did Saudi Arabia, which supports rebel groups also battling Assad. While countries like France and Germany abstained from the vote that passed by a large majority, only six countries voted no, including Israel, the United States and Canada. The resolution demands Israel “resume talks on the Syrian and Lebanese tracks.”

U.S. AFRICOM Commander Chinese Logistics Base in Djibouti
{Sam LaGrone} ~ The head of U.S. Africa Command confirmed China is establishing a forward military base in Djibouti — joining French, Japanese and U.S. installations already in the country... U.S. Army Gen. David Rodriguez told reporters China was planning building a forward logistics hub in the country perched near the busy international maritime path between Europe and Southeast Asia. “They are going to build a base in Djibouti, so that will be their first military location in Africa,” he said according to The Hill newspaper. He said China had established a 10-year deal with the Djiboutian government for the installation but didn’t provide any other additional details on the installation.

CNN wipes Israel off of the map
{jpost.com} ~ A CNN Money article on the Middle East dropped Israel's name from a map of the Middle East that accompanied a story on the turmoil in the region... The article, entitled "Beyond ISIS: 2016's scariest geopolitical hot spots," naturally featured the ongoing war in Syria and the image that originally accompanied the article was a map of the Middle East. But the name Palestina, Spanish or Portuguese for Palestine stood in for Israel on the map. CNN later replaced the story's photo with one showing a scene of destruction from the Syrian city of Aleppo.   Readers responded with anger to the piece's original photo that did not feature the name of the Jewish state.

{jewishworldreview.com} ~ While filing his paperwork to be on the ballot in New Hampshire on Friday, Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson was asked about the topic of the day: Donald Trump's apparent endorsement of a database tracking Muslims in the United States. "Hopefully," Carson said, "we already have a database on every citizen who is already here."
.
We do --- and it's almost certainly supplemented with the avalanche of data compiled by the private sector.
.
If you go to the Facebook ad-buying site -- which anyone can do; it's right here -- it only takes a few clicks to get the social network's estimate of the number of Americans on Facebook who are interested in the Muslim faith. Cobbling together everyone who lives in the U.S. and who has liked pages or items dealing with Islam gives you 9.4 million possible targets for your ads -- a number substantially higher than the the 2.75 million Muslims Pew Research estimates in the U.S. But still: Facebook has a sense of who's interested in the subject.
.
If that level of pinpointing surprises you, wait for the punchline. Facebook's information is very, very rough compared to that compiled by large consumer data companies. According to one expert, it is also almost certainly the case that the government buys that data to get a clearer picture of the American population.
.
Here's how it works. Go to the Google ads site and you can see what the search giant thinks it knows about you -- or, at least, what it's willing to share about what it knows. Based on my search history and the websites I visit, Google figures that I am a male aged 35-44, which is correct.
.
Google knows a lot about me, but not everything. Imagine if you combined what Google knows about me with what my grocery store loyalty card knows about me and what my cable provider knows about me. It's the blind-men-examine-an-elephant situation: Each company only sees a small part and so it doesn't know me well. By giving information to a central source, a data broker like Acxiom or Experian, marketers know that I'm an elephant. Or a donkey. Or anything else.
.
"The data broker industry is sophisticated enough to pick out people as if they were grains of sand on a huge beach, identify them with particularity and make fine-grained determinations about virtually everything in their lives," said Tim Sparapani, principal of SPQR Strategies and former senior legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union who, in that capacity, testified before Congress on the subject.
.
The brokers learn who you are "by amalgamating data from people's offline lives and their online lives," he said. Data like credit card purchases, browser history, online shopping, who you donate to, magazine and newspaper subscriptions, purchases in grocery stores where you swipe your loyalty card. Particularly for credit card purchases, "it's really trivially easy for that data to be sifted and sorted," Sparapani said. All of that data isn't always specific to an individual (whose Time magazine subscription is it, anyway?), but data can also easily build out a profile of a household. Where you vacation. Where you work. They can analyze languages spoken and last names to develop a picture of a person's or family's ethnicity, or religion. It goes on.
.
Where does this overlap with the government? The government could create a tool to pull in data from all of these other places, too. But why bother, when the private sector already has? "I think it's a well-established fact that the government, writ large, is the largest source of funds for the data brokerage industry," Sparapani said. "They have elastic budgets. They can spend whatever they think they need to spend, particularly post-9/11 and in an era of ISIS commanding our attention." Many of those budgets are classified.
.
You know of the government's existing databases instinctively: Social Security, Census data, your college or home loans, your tax information, and so on. For immigrants and refugees, there's more information, including interviews and background checks. Law enforcement -- the FBI, Homeland Security -- wants to identify the people they should be keeping an eye on. So they take the government's existing data and overlay the data compiled by the private sector. Then match that against the the profile of who you think is a threat. It's almost certain that if the government wanted to pick out the Muslim population in an area, they could do so quickly and accurately.
.
We all know about one of these databases: The government's no-fly list. This is a more-constrained version of the Muslim database that's been discussed this week on the campaign trail (though it's not that constrained). It is a list of possible threats that the government and parts of the private sector (like airlines) can access. Obviously, there are also other names that were considered and screened for the list and not added. The government also has a larger "terrorism watch list," which exists for precisely the reason that you'd expect.
.
In other words, there's no need for Donald Trump or anyone else to start registering Muslims at mosques (as Trump suggested he might do in response to a question on Thursday) to create a picture of the population.
.
"It's absolutely unnecessary for the U.S. government to build these lists," Sparapani said, "because the DHS and others have already purchased these materials -- and they do every day -- from the data brokerage community."
