The Evidence: Clinton's Web of Benghazi Lies
With an acclaimed performance at the Democrat debate behind her, and loose lips-Joe Biden demurring on a presidential run, Hilly Clinton's next hurdle before securing her iron grip on the Democrat nomination was an appearance before the House Select Committee on Benghazi Thursday. And if Leftmedia circle-the-wagons headlines like "No clear wins for GOP at Benghazi hearing" and "Marathon Benghazi hearing leaves Hilly Clinton largely unscathed" are any indication, she has little reason to worry.
          Or does she?
Committee Democrats did their best to grandstand and ask leading questions to help bring out the "answers" Clinton wanted to give. But her felonious complicity in and her subsequent cover-up of the true story of the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi was on full display. As committee chairman Trey Gowdy made clear in his opening statement, Ambassador Christopher Stevens, his aide Sean Smith, and two diplomatic security officers, former Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, deserve answers and accountability.
Clinton was addressing three audiences Thursday, the first two being obvious: the committee and her public constituency. The third audience was less evident — FBI investigators, who are looking for any attempts she makes to obfuscate the truth. If she does anything to divert from the truth — not just perjury — it's a felony. And we all know the Clintons are adept at perjuring themselves.

2015 Will Be Record Hot. But There's More to the Story
The New York Times is ringing the alarm bells over the likelihood this year will top 2014 for the hottest year on record (it wasn't, by the way). "2015 Likely to Be Hottest Year Ever Recorded," read Wednesday's headline trumpeting NOAA's announcement that the first nine months of this year featured unparalleled warmth. That's not entirely surprising — with a strong (historic?) El Niño taking shape, the odds were high anyway — so we'll just go ahead and make it official: 2015 will be the warmest year on record. But the veracity of that claim depends on who's keeping score. There are two critical drawbacks. First, NOAA relies on land-based measurements, which can easily be manipulated, and there is a significant amount of geography that doesn't contain any data — meaning the overall picture is very much incomplete. Second, and most egregious, the agency continues to tinker with historical records to inflate today's warming. So forgive us for being skeptical of an agency that reconfigures data for political purposes.
On the other hand, satellite measurements reveal that the Great Pause is still going strong, now at 18 years and eight months. Some believe this warming hiatus will eventually end because of El Niño, but so far it hasn't. And that's perhaps the most surprising thing of all — because all streaks eventually end. The Left, of course, can barely conceal its excitement over NOAA's claims, because it fits their narrative perfectly. UN delegates will meet for a climate summit in Paris next month. And the sense is that they'll finally have enough momentum to regulate carbon emissions.
Secretary of State hanoi-John Kerry recently said, "[W]hen I hear a United States senator say, 'I'm not a scientist so I can't make a judgment,' or a candidate for president for that matter, I'm absolutely astounded. ... [W]hen more than 6,000-plus peer-reviewed studies of the world's best scientists all lay out that [global warming] is happening and mankind is contributing to it, it seems to me that [climate skeptics] disqualify themselves fundamentally from high public office with those kinds of statements." Given the facts — 18 years, eight months and counting, John — why should skeptics be penalized for rejecting junk science?   -The Patriot Post

After Soldier Death, nObama Downplays Fight Against ISIL
"I think we always have to guard against mission creep," Barack nObama said in June 2014, "so let me repeat what I've said in the past: American combat troops are not going to be fighting in Iraq again." But here we are. U.S. government officials said Thursday that a Special Forces soldier was killed in Iraq rescuing 70 prisoners that the Islamic State planned to murder in the morning. What is nobler than snatching people caught in the clutches of such evil? The prisoners were a mix of townspeople, soldiers in the Iraqi army and former Islamic State fighters who were accused of being spies. But despite the overall success of the operation, the nObama administration is running damage control. "U.S. forces are not in a combat role in Iraq," said Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook on Thursday. The details of the raid, as described by Reuters, betray a greater involvement in the fight against the Islamic State than the administration has let citizens believe. To strike the Islamic State, the U.S. loaded up five helicopters with "dozens" of U.S. soldiers and peshmerga fighters. Even before the body armor was shouldered and the magazines loaded, the U.S. helped collect intelligence and supported the operation with air strike capabilities. The U.S. soldiers — the official story goes — were only there in an advisory role. But when do advisors go into the thick of combat, standing within striking distance of Islamic State bullets? nObama said that there would be "no boots on the ground" and the geopolitical situation is under control while "al-Qaida is on the run." So now he's twisting reality and denying honor to this American soldier who paid the ultimate sacrifice for nObama's interests.    -The Patriot Post

Despite Efforts, No Changes to Sanctuary City Policies
Did Kate Steinle die in vain? On July 1, the 32-year-old Steinle was shot by Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, an illegal immigrant with seven previous felony convictions and five deportations, as she was strolling arm-in-arm with her father on San Francisco's Pier 14. Her death highlighted the fact that American cities deal with spikes of crime when they institute "sanctuary city" policies that allow illegal immigrants to walk the streets protected from law enforcement. (Steinle's killer had been released from jail — but not deported — in March.) Democrats continue to resist much-needed reform. Most recently, the Senate tried to bring forward a measure named The Stop Sanctuary Cities Act, which would have stopped federal funds from flowing to any city that declared itself a sanctuary. Senate Democrats blocked the bill from advancing despite a 54-45 vote Oct. 20 (it needed 60 votes to move forward). Back in San Francisco, Steinle's murder didn't appear to faze the city's leaders. In a unanimous vote, the city's Board of Supervisors affirmed its sanctuary city policies. Even liberal Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) spoke out against San Francisco's radical stance. "I believe these murders could have been prevented if there were open channels of communication between local law enforcement and federal immigration authorities about dangerous individuals," she said. In Feinstein's comments there's hope. While she voted against "Kate's Law," she — and hopefully other Democrats — is interested in some kind of sanctuary city reform.   -The Patriot Post

Palestinian Media Watchdog: Abbas Should Be Imprisoned for Murder
{Ruthie Blum} ~ The international perception of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is that he is weak and ineffectual, said Itamar Marcus, founder and director of Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), an organization that researches Palestinian society through its press and educational curricula... But in fact, “Everyone in [Abbas’] orbit lauds Palestinians who commit violence against Israelis and Jews as heroes,” Marcus told the The Algemeiner on Monday. Marcus was responding to general questions about “incitement” — a buzzword ringing throughout the Knesset halls and corridors of Capitol Hill – as well as more specific ones pertaining to individual posts on Palestinian social media pages.        http://www.algemeiner.com/2015/10/27/palestinian-media-watchdog-abb...

 The Iran Deal: Persisting Problems
{Michael Rubin} ~ Last Sunday, Iran and the P5+1 countries (the U.S., U.K., France, China, Russia, and Germany) formally adopted the new nuclear agreement concluded this summer... In coming days, under the terms of the deal, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the Islamic Republic is obliged to begin implementing a series of curbs on its nuclear program. There is good reason to believe that it will do so in the near term, because the scope of the sanctions relief contained within the JCPOA is enormous — equivalent to a quarter of Iran’s total economy. As such, complying with the terms of the deal makes good economic sense for Iran’s ayatollahs, at least for the moment. That, however, does not signal an end to America’s Iran problem. To the contrary, the entry into force of the JCPOA ushers in a new — and even more challenging — phase of American policy in the Middle East.        http://www.aei.org/publication/the-iran-deal-persisting-problems/?u...

 For-Profit College Scams?
{Sharyl Attkisson} ~ We investigate for-profit colleges that allegedly prey on military troops. Your tax dollars may end up paying for the fraud... The report will feature a soldier left feeling cheated and in debt; and interviews with Sen. Dick Durbin, a whistleblower who worked at one for profit college, and an advocate for the for-profit college industry. Scott Thuman digs into the failing nObamacare co-ops and tells what it may foreshadow for the entire nObamacare system. Nearly a half million nObamacare co-op customers will soon have to find new health insurance — possibly meaning new doctors and premiums — as the 9th co-op announces it’s going out of business. Last Sunday on Full Measure, we investigated the problem of illegal immigrants who commit serious crimes on U.S. soil and are released to commit more crimes including rapes and murders.

Iran's New Palestinian Terror Group: Al-Sabireen
{Khaled Abu Toameh} ~ The nuclear deal between Iran and the world powers has paved the way for the Iranians to resume their efforts to spread their influence throughout the Middle East... As the nObama Administration and the rest of the international community choose to look the other way, Iran evidently feels that this is the appropriate time to meddle in the internal affairs of Arabs and Muslims. Iran's main goal, from all appearances, is to dominate the entire Middle East by destroying Israel and most of the Arab and Islamic regimes that are considered too "moderate" and "pro-West." So far, thanks to the indifference of the nObama Administration and most Western countries, the Iranians seem to be marching in the right direction toward achieving their goal.

nObama united the Nation - Against his job-killing Power Plan
{Jeff Dunetz} ~ The Clean Power Plan is the centerpiece of nObama’s Climate Action Plan... It was announced in June 2013, and complies with his more recent pledge to the U.N. that the U.S. will cut its carbon emissions by as much as 28 percent from 2005 levels by 2025. The plan is a disaster on so many levels, the most important of which is that it will kill jobs (and the U.S. labor participation rates already at disastrous low levels). The US economy will find it hard recover from these regulations. The EPA rule is looking to replace cheap energy with more expensive alternate energy, it will not only raise the cost of energy for the individual households, but will raise the cost of goods for companies marketing their products resulting in higher costs for all products, but especially staple goods. Overall the nObama created rise in the price of energy and resulting rise in the price of consumer goods, will place the heaviest burden on middle and lower economic class families. And that doesn’t take into account that the rule deals another nObama blow against the business resulting in more unemployment, government costs, and energy price inflation.         http://lidblog.com/obama-has-united-the-nation-against-his-job-kill...

nObama's bad math - Means 1 million Refugees
{Jeff Dunetz} ~ Whats a few zeros between friends? Well in the case of President nObama, those few zeros equals 990k+ people, and we also know it’s probably not a math mistake but a deliberate lie...  Heres the real issue, since Barack nObama became president we have been allowing hundreds of thousands of refugees from Muslim-majority countries  into the country every year. The bad part is those refugees are not being vetted and many of them may be radicalized Islamists (well that and the fact that we are being given bogus numbers from the government about the volume of “refugees” coming into the country). Bethany Blankley one of my Liberty Alliance colleagues wrote a great piece on the issue at Constitution.com, which she has allowed me to share below: Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson recently remarked that he is “committed” to properly vetting refugees entering America. But he also stated that the government won’t “know a whole lot” about these refugees. In other words, if they are vetted they might not be vetted well.       http://lidblog.com/obamas-bad-math-10000-refugees-actually-means-1-...

The free world has lost its leader
{Daniel Hannan} ~ The free world has lost its leader. In the absence of a vigorous American foreign policy, Canada’s Stephen Harper supplied his own... For the better part of a decade, he energetically championed Western interests. He was serious about fighting terrorism, keen on free trade and prepared to deploy proportionate force in defense of freedom. His defeat in last week’s Canadian general election will be felt far beyond that sparse, chilly country. When other Western leaders fretted about Israel’s 2006 Lebanon war, he gave his full backing to the Jewish state. When others dithered over Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, he led international condemnation. Obliged to meet Vladimir Putin at a summit meeting, he was admirably curt: “I guess I’ll shake your hand, but I have only one thing to say to you: Get out of Ukraine.”        http://www.aim.org/guest-column/the-free-world-has-lost-its-leader/...

The Republican Party Has Just Removed The Debt Ceiling, ENTIRELY
{theconservativetreehouse.com} ~ Think about this carefully – So far this year with control of the House and Senate... Do you really think the republican party has any intention on removing nObamaCare, controlling the lawless southern border, eliminating sanctuary cities or not pushing amnesty legislation?        http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2015/10/28/the-republican-party...

Truth Exposes The Dangers Of Johnson’s Jihad...
{rickwells.us} ~ Clearly the media is engaged in a makeover public perception of the criminal running the Department of Homeland Security, Jihadi Jeh Johnson... They’ve completely given up in their former roles as watchdogs, now fat and happy being patted on the head as obedient lapdogs to the government criminal elite. They also are a critical component in the “get the message out” propaganda program of disinformation and the misrepresentation of what these DC criminals are doing and its impact on our country. Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren recently did everything but plant a sloppy wet one on the subversive DHS Secretary, a in a nauseating spectacle which, in spite of having just exited a three hour Congressional hearing on terrorism and he refugee scam, was filled with questions barely more hard-hitting than his favorite color or who’s on his fantasy football roster. In many ways the content of the questions and the answers in that “interview” and this one are very similar, leading to the appearance of a coordinated image enhancement offensive.        http://rickwells.us/archives/21383

U.S. State Depart: Iran ;Destabilizing,' 'Unhelpful' in Syria
{ADELLE NAZARIAN} ~ United States State Department spokesman John Kirby called Iran’s “destabilizing activity” in Syria “unhelpful” but noted that the Islamic Republic would need to be more involved in the diplomatic process of achieving an end to the violence in the region sooner rather than later... “They are a stakeholder in this process,” Kirby told reporters on Monday, according toReuters. “They do have a relationship with the Assad regime; they do have a relationship inside Syria.” Despite longstanding opposition to Iran’s involvement in any “peace talks” to end the Syrian civil war, Kirby acknowledged that “at some point… we know there’s going to need to be a conversation with Iran toward the end of a political transition there.” The next round of diplomatic talks on the issue are slated to take place this Thursday in Vienna to discuss political transition in Syria and what the war-torn nation would look like should Assad be made to leave. In addition to the United States, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, these talks will also include England, France, Germany, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates.        http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/10/27/u-s-iran-dest...

Benghazi and 'Untrustable' Hilly
Brent Bozell
.
.
{townhall.com} ~ Kevin McCarthy was factually right -- if grammatically and politically wrong -- when he told Sean Hannity that the House's Benghazi committee demonstrated Hilly Clinton was "untrustable." The Clinton-pleasers in the media like NBC's Andrea Mitchell almost glowed as they proclaimed McCarthy had offered a "political lifeline" to Clinton by admitting to a political agenda to get at her, using that tragedy.
.
The Democrats have pushed heavily on the narrative that the House probe is transparently political -- as if everything they say about Clinton is transparently ... nonpartisan? So much of the Clinton spin from the media-Democrat complex simply repeats the scandal gamesmanship of the Clinton years, like a zombie doing the Macarena. Let's recall all the old moves:
.
     1. Lamenting the length of the investigation. ABC relayed "the House Select Committee on Benghazi has been active for 72 weeks -- surpassing the Watergate Committee's activity in the 1970s." In part, that's because Richard Nixon shortened the timeline by resigning. It's also because the Clintons love dragging out the length of probes by lying and withholding evidence (see Lewinsky), then shamelessly declaring it's all "old news."
.
     2. Lamenting the cost of the investigation. What a poor use of taxpayers' money!" they say. The lying and delays also add to the cost of investigations, just as they did during the Thompson hearings into the 1996 Clinton campaign's alleged acceptance of illegal contributions from Chinese donors. Peter Jennings set the table then: "When we come back, two investigations of fundraising abuse, two of them on Capitol Hill. Is it a waste of time and money?"
.
Is there anything more ludicrous than the manufacturers of a double-digit, trillion-dollar debt complaining about $4 million on congressional oversight? Judicial Watch reported the nObamas spent $7.7 million in flight expenses alone on their 2013 Christmas vacation. Did anyone in the media care?
.
     3. Crying vast right-wing conspiracy. James Carville, the most obvious example of the '90s spin zombie, went on MSNBC to say "this committee was nothing but a creation of Rupert Murdoch and the Koch brothers." Apparently, Republican congressman Trey Gowdy is a tool of the "climate denial industry" that wants the Clintons ruined. Carville offered all the gravitas and finesse of people wandering through the park telling people the CIA listens to them through their dental fillings. But MSNBC still puts him on TV.
.
     4. Predicting Republican overreach. A corollary of the conspiracy talk is the constant suggestion that the GOP will only damage itself by asking these nagging questions and is far too desperate to win elections by exploiting "phony" scandals at the expense of "substance" or the "real issues" of government policy. This creates a very strange impression that questioning government corruption or stonewalling is by definition not substantive or constructive. It's always a "distraction" ... at least when Democrats are in power.
.
This was at the root of Democrats cheering as Bernie Sanders came to Clinton's defense on being sick of the subject of her "damn emails." We should be focusing on income inequality and climate change, not whether Hilly Clinton's private email server is being hacked by the Russians and the Chinese. That concern would not be "substantive."
.
The one consistent media line on Benghazi is that exploring it was "political" immediately after it happened on Sept.11, 2012, and it's still "political" to explore it in 2015 and 2016. As long as the Clintons stay active in politics, their scandals will continue, as will the damage control.

Gohmert: Dems Will Drag Out Impeachment — Try To Get ‘Best Socialist’ Nominated For President

During an appearance on Huntsville, AL radio’s WVNN on Thursday, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) offered his best assessment of what House Democrats were trying to accomplish with their impeachment efforts.

Gohmert told WVNN’s “The Jeff Poor Show” impeachment could tie up the Democratic Party’s presidential campaign efforts but predicted Democrats would use the occasion to nominate “the best socialist” they can.

“They would lose in the Senate,” Gohmert said on impeachment. “And besides that, the entire time it was on trial in the Senate, the Democrats who are running for president wouldn’t be allowed to campaign. That’s in the Constitution. They wouldn’t be able to campaign. I just can’t imagine them wanting to do that because if they send it to the Senate, they have now perfectly set up the scenario of 1996, where they will reassure Donald Trump is reelected as president. They don’t want to do that. They’re probably going to drag this thing out as long as they possibly can … through Iowa, through primaries — try to get the best socialist they can to be nominated.”

“Then just end up and say, ‘Now we’re close enough to the general election. We’ve thrown mud at the president through the House,’” he continued. “What they’re really doing — they’re using taxpayer funds to campaign against Trump. That’s all this is — a campaign fund that taxpayers are paying for in order to try to throw mud at the president. I’ll be surprised if they have that vote, but I can’t imagine they want to set up this president for reelection by having a trial in the Senate where they lose.”
