The well-connected charity wanted to invite Viktor Vekselberg, founder of major Russian conglomerate Renova Group, to attend the Clinton Global Initiative meeting in New York City that year. Amitabh Desai, the foundation’s director of foreign policy, asked a top aide to Hilly Clinton if the State Department would be troubled by the invitation, according to documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act. nObama Jokes of 'Crackpot Conspiracy Theories' Barack nObama continued his "Gun Point Pivot" charade, endeavoring to divert attention from his compounding foreign and domestic policy failures to the need for "common sense gun laws" after the Oregon assault. 
Ratcheting up his gun control rhetoric, Obama petulantly claimed, "The people who are troubled by this have to be as intense and organized and as adamant about this issue as folks on the other side, who are absolutists and think that any gun-safety measures are somehow an assault on freedom, or communistic, or a plot by me to take over and stay in power forever or something. I mean there are all kinds of crackpot conspiracy theories that float around, some of which, by the way, are ratified by elected officials in the other party." Of course, the only crackpot theory floating around is nObama's assertion that guns are the problem and that "common sense gun laws" are the solution. nObama inadvertently tipped his hand on what he meant by "gun-safety measures," alluding to the gun confiscation models of Australia and the UK. It's hardly a "conspiracy theory" to object to nObama's own words.
In regard to nObama's assertion that "we should politicize this," it is telling that, after listing several mass shootings that met his "politicization" criterion, he did not mention the armed jihadist assaults at two other gun free installations on his watch: Fort Hood, Texas, and the recent murder of five military personnel in Chattanooga, Tennessee. After the Chattanooga assault on July 16, it took nObama five days to order flags to half staff, and even then he did so reluctantly. But after the Oregon assault, he ordered flags down within 24 hours — to bolster his "politicized" gun control agenda. Of course, the "commander in chief" also did not mention the death of 10 Americans in Afghanistan who lost their lives in a plane crash three hours before his Thursday press conference. House Republicans to Decide backstabber-Boehner's Replacement
Officially, House Republicans will vote on the next speaker of the chamber Thursday, Oct. 8. Unofficially, though, Politico reports outgoing House Speaker backstabber-John Boehner is considering postponing the election because of "serious unrest in the House Republican Conference." The conservative movement has always been a coalition with tension, of fiscal conservatives working with defense hawks, of libertarians working with social conservatives, the Tea Party and the establishment. Whoever ascends to pick up the gavel will, in the words of National Journal, "define the direction of the House GOP" as the politician will bring top-down change. Will it be someone like frontrunner House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who many worry will continue the failed GOP leadership? Rep. Jason Chaffetz said Sunday that he's seeking the speakership, positioning himself between the right and center factions in the party. But there is also establishment outsider Rep. Daniel Webster, who used to be speaker of the Florida house. The political scaffolding backstabber-Boehner built led to one of the most ineffective lower chambers in history, an institution that didn't reflect the values of its constituents. {Sarah Fisher} ~ Ed Klein writes at the New York Post that a long-time Clinton legal adviser is warning Hilly to hire a lawyer to represent her in case she is indicted for "mishandling" classified information that appeared on her home-brewed email server... “This e-mail thing is spiraling out of control,” he said. “To paraphrase John Dean of Watergate fame, it’s a cancer on her candidacy. Frankly,” he continued, “I am used to my advice on legal matters being taken very seriously and acted upon by the Clintons. I’ve told them repeatedly that this FBI e-mail investigation could go in a very dangerous direction very quickly. I think Bill takes the matter seriously. {Alana Goodman} ~ A federal judge told the Department of State on Tuesday to release correspondence between a top aide to Hilly Clinton and Clinton Foundation officials on a rolling basis over the next two weeks... Citizens United, a film production group, has been suing the State Department to turn over official emails between Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s chief of staff, and individuals associated with the Clinton Foundation. An attorney for the State Department said officials have found 326 documents potentially related to the public records request, during a hearing at the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday. The State Department said it would turn them over to Citizens United in two batches, beginning next Friday and ending on Oct. 20..

{Jeff Dunetz} ~ McClatchy is reporting significant new news about the Hilly Clinton E-mail scandal (which is different from the Benghazi scandal and different from the selling State Department influence scandal)... Per the report an employee of Platte River Networks the IT firm contracted to maintain Hilly Clinton’s secret email server became concerned about being roped into a “cover up” when they were asked to reduce email data. They were asked to reduce the emails after the State Department requested the Hilly Clinton’s correspondence. Also her deleted emails may still be recoverable from a second company that was also involved in backing up the server. A letter from the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) to the chief executive of the second company which backed up the Clinton server, Datto Inc. of Norwalk, Conn., recounts a series of events that led an employee of Colorado-based Platte River Networks to air suspicions in an email as to whether “this whole thing really is covering up some shaddy shit” (an excerpt of the email was included in the Johnson letter)..

The gated complex is owned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Armed Forces Office, whose personnel reportedly enjoy full diplomatic immunity.
