Wall Construction Set to Start in Texas
by   The reality of the border wall promised us by the president is not as fanciful or far off as the mainstream media would have you believe. The fact is, large sections of wall already exist... funding has been set aside, and portions of the wall are set to go up right now. Case in point, the government is at the ready at this moment to begin construction on border wall and fencing sections in the Rio Grande Valley in southern Texas. A US Customs and Border Protection agent told reporters that construction vehicles were set to start pulling onto the property last week as an excavator sat parked adjacent to the National Butterfly Center. In January, Congress passed a bill allotting over $600 million to create a section of barrier fence 33 miles long along specific edges of the Rio Grande Valley. At the same time as Trump and top-ranking Democrats battled over wall funding in Washington DC, US Customs went forward with the creation of wall sections that are already fully funded. The bill, which sometimes describes the structures to be built as “wall” and sometimes as “fence,” has funded portions of border structures which Customs and Border Protection calls a “border wall system,” or a “barrier system.” There’s been a lot of talk about whether or not Trump’s calling a fence is a compromise. But it’s a compromise that Trump supporters don’t seem to mind...
Top Nancy Pulosi Aide Privately Tells Insurance Executives
Not to Worry About Democrats Pushing “Medicare for All”
by Ryan Grim
{} ~ LESS THAN A month after Democrats — many of them running on “Medicare for All” — won back control of the House of Representatives in November... the top health policy aide to then-prospective House Speaker Nancy Pulosi met with Blue Cross Blue Shield executives and assured them that party leadership had strong reservations about single-payer health care and was more focused on lowering drug prices, according to sources familiar with the meeting. Pulosi adviser Wendell Primus detailed five objections to Medicare for All and said that Democrats would be allies to the insurance industry in the fight against single-payer health care. Primus pitched the insurers on supporting Democrats on efforts to shrink drug prices, specifically by backing a number of measures that the pharmaceutical lobby is opposing. Primus, in a slide presentation obtained by The Intercept, criticized single payer on the basis of cost “Monies are needed for other priorities”, opposition “Stakeholders are against; Creates winners and losers”, and “implementation challenges.” We have recreated the slides for source protection purposes...
Why Palestinians Oppose an Anti-Iran Coalition
by Khaled Abu Toameh
{} ~ The Palestinians have good reason to believe that some influential Arab countries have given up on both them and the Palestinian cause... They fear that several Arab countries might even be headed toward normalizing their relations with Israel. For several weeks now, the leadership of the Palestinian Authority (PA) has been waging a campaign against a US-Polish conference that is scheduled to take place in Warsaw later this month. US and Polish officials said that the conference will include sessions on the situation in Syria, Yemen, missile development, terrorism and illicit finance and cybersecurity. A US official said that the conference will also discuss "Iran's destructive policies in the region." Why are the Palestinians so worried about the upcoming conference? Because they care about Iran or Yemen or Syria or missile development? No, the Palestinians are concerned because they have somehow convinced themselves that the main purpose of the conference is to bring the Arab countries closer to Israel. It is not clear on what the Palestinian claim is based, especially as neither the US nor Poland has mentioned the issue of normalization between Israel and the Arab countries as being on the agenda of the conference. "The PLO considers the conference a form of direct and public normalization between the Arabs and Israel," said PLO Executive Committee member Ahmed Majdalani. "This is an attempt to change the priorities in the Middle East so that confronting Iran would become the main issue instead of ending the Israeli occupation." The PLO official called on the Arab countries to boycott the conference...
The Hijacking of a Presidential Election
by Jon N. Hall
{} ~ In January of 2017, the Federal Election Commission reported that in the 2016 general election Mrs. scumbag/liar-Clinton received 65,853,516 votes and Mr. Trump received 62,984,825 votes... scumbag/liar-Clinton therefore beat Trump by 2,868,691 popular votes. President Trump has said that if the illegal votes were deducted that he would have won the popular vote. If one looks at that FEC report, one sees that in California, the state with the most illegal aliens, scumbag/liar-Clinton got 8,753,788 votes, while Trump got 4,483,810 votes. So scumbag/liar-Clinton beat Trump in California by 4,269,978 votes. What’s interesting is that scumbag/liar-Clinton beat Trump by more votes in California than she did nationwide, precisely 1,401,287 more votes. Though Trump’s claim that illegal voting threw the popular vote to scumbag/liar-Clinton is sheer speculation, we can say that if we exclude California that Trump did in fact win the popular vote in the rest of the nation, and by exactly 1,401,287 votes. Because Trump didn’t get any electoral votes in California and New York, when we subtract the electoral votes of those two states, scumbag/liar-Clinton won just 143 electoral votes in the rest of the nation while Trump’s electoral total remains unchanged at 304. In the Electoral College, which is what we use to elect our presidents, Trump beats scumbag/liar-Clinton by more than 2-to-1 when California and New York are excluded. Even if the votes of the seven faithless electors were given to scumbag/liar-Clinton, Trump would still have trounced  scumbag/liar-Clinton by more than 2-1 in the 48 states of “real America.”...
Dems Launch Torpedoes at Electoral College
by   After assuming the majority in their legislatures, Democrats in New Mexico and Colorado are proposing a plan to bypass the Electoral College and give the presidency to the candidate who earns the most votes nationally... Critics of the National Popular Vote movement argue it would disenfranchise voters in less populous states and force candidates to focus their campaigns on big cities.  The NPV strategy avoids a constitutional amendment process. States would simply allocate their Electoral College votes to the winner of the national popular vote. The Washington Free Beacon reports NPV measures already have advanced in the Colorado Senate and the New Mexico House. WND reported earlier this week on the lurch to the far left in Colorado where lawmakers are proposing a plan to teach LGBT lifestyles to young public school students. The state’s new governor is Jared Polis, who spent a decade in the U.S. House promoting gay rights. Election expert Hans von Spakovsky of the Heritage Foundatio calls the NPV compact “unconstitutional and bad public policy.” “It would undermine the protections of the Electoral College, elevating the importance of big urban centers like New York and Los Angeles while diminishing the influence of smaller states and rural areas,” he said. “That was a major reason for establishing the Electoral College in the first place: to prevent elections from becoming contests where presidential candidates would simply campaign in big cities for votes.”...
Leftist 'Handmaids' Revel in a Fantasy Dystopia
by Brian Mark Weber:  Super Bowl LIII won’t exactly be remembered as a classic. After Gladys Knight’s stirring rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, we saw two underperforming offenses, an underwhelming halftime show, and some underhanded commercials designed to critique American values.

In particular, the Hulu ad for its popular series “The Handmaid’s Tale,” based on a 1980s novel by Margaret Atwood, was a cruel mockery of Ronald Reagan’s 1984 “Morning in America” ad — a warm and powerful presidential campaign ad that offered a hopeful vision of the future made possible by the continuation of Reagan’s conservative policies.

By contrast, the ad for “The Handmaid’s Tale” offers a dystopian portrait of a future theocratic Christian America in which women are oppressed and relegated to an appalling life of giving birth to children for the state, stripped of their property and rights, and enslaved.

There’s only one problem: The very same free-market systems that have historically liberated and empowered women are rejected by socialists as a form of oppression. If anyone has held back women’s progress over the years, it’s the Left. Sure, thanks to “progressives,” women in New York and a few other states can now order their unborn babies killed all the way up to 40 weeks gestation. But it’s the Reagans and Trumps of the world who are helping women enter the workplace in greater numbers — to do and to live as they see best.

Tiana Lowe writes at The Washington Examiner, “The ‘80s boom of capitalism and cocaine is supposed to have been the beginning of the end of feminism and freedom. … If anything, 'The Handmaid’s Tale’ continues to serve as an unintentional but powerful condemnation of bigger government.”

And that’s what makes the Hulu ad for “The Handmaid’s Tale” so ironic. If “Morning in America” ever ends, it’ll be at the hands of a socialist nightfall — one that seeks to curtail free speech, restrict gun rights, filter the flow of news and information, delegitimize Christianity, and trample all who dare resist.

Want to see who’s really going to bring “The Handmaid’s Tale” to your children’s future? Take a second look at President Trump’s recent State of the Union Address and watch in disbelief as uniformly dressed Democrat women refuse to acknowledge historically low unemployment for minorities and women, an ICE agent being recognized for saving 300 lives, and a host of other accomplishments.

As Alexa Moutevelis Coombs at NewsBusters notes, “‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ tries to be an allegory of the horrors that could befall us at any time, but many of those who glom onto the Hulu series as a unique and timely warning about Trump’s America seem to forget that Margaret Atwood’s book the first season was based on was published in 1985 and meant to critique Reagan and the Christian Right. To liberals, we are always one step away from fascism and women being reduced to chattel when a Republican is in power.”

Our own Robin Smith wrote in 2017, “‘Progressives’ are already equating the Margaret Atwood novel-turned-series to the faith community and those with any degree of a moral compass whose values inform their votes, their entertainment, educational choices, etc. In other words, the Left has found another tool by which to inflict cultural criticism on those who refuse to consent to the unhinged Left’s demand for consensus of their Rainbow Mafia agenda and their destruction of the First Amendment to silence all critics. The novel rightly exposes the dangers of extremes of thought and indoctrination. That is its singular value. Otherwise, the parallels drawn are clearly meant to frame America as a nation on the verge of collapse to fundamentalist Christian theocrats.”

In a country where the Left has removed crosses from highways, banned prayer in graduation speeches, and tried to force Christians to bake cakes for same-sex couples, it’s ludicrous to say the Christian Right is an imminent threat to our country’s future.

By using popular culture to warn us about the Right, the Left tends to expose its own hypocrisy in the process. In reality, the very people trying to silence free speech, install atheism as the state religion, oppress the masses, and destroy Liberty are warning the rest of us about a dark future that only their policies will create.  ~The Patriot Post

“It’s an exciting evolution.”

CNN’s Anderson Cooper said during an interview with Univision anchor Jorge Ramos that he found the demographic decline of white people “exciting”.

“The idea that, you know, whites will not be the majority, I mean, that’s — it’s an exciting transformation of the country, it’s an exciting evolution and you know, progress of our country in many different ways,” said Cooper.

Ramos agreed that whites becoming a minority in America was inevitable and a positive development.

The Judge@V8POW

Anderson Cooper barely able to contain his excitement about Whites becoming a minority.

Not thrilled about being replaced in the country your ancestors founded: you're a "Supremacist"

Understand White People, you're already in a race war.

“There’s nothing really they can do against this incredible demographic revolution. And in 2044, everyone is going to be a minority,” he said.

The media has repeatedly asserted that even raising the “conspiracy theory” of “the great replacement” or the demographic decline of white people puts you on a par with mass shooters and terrorists.

However, it’s apparently completely fine to talk about the issue so long as you proclaim the demographic decline of whites to be a positive thing.
