Respond If North Korea Goes After Guam

Fusion GPS Thumbs Its Nose at Congress
As the Russian election meddling investigation continues to roll on, a central player has begun to emerge that may turn the entire investigation on its head. That player is research firm Fusion GPS, the organization responsible for creating the debunked, fallacious and salacious Trump/Russia dossier that got the whole ball rolling.
In July, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley subpoenaed Glenn Simpson, co-founder of Fusion GPS, seeking to glean more information about the infamous dossier and related interactions with the FBI. Initially Simpson refused to testify, pleading the Fifth Amendment, but a deal was later reached in which the subpoena was withdrawn in exchange for Simpson's agreement to disclose "his involvement in creating the Trump dossier and interactions with the FBI" and "his alleged work with the unregistered foreign agents who met with the Trump family and campaign officials."
Fast-forward to Thursday, when Fusion GPS turned over documents related to the Trump dossier. What was actually received by Senate Judiciary Committee, however, was described by spokesman George Hartmann as "mostly news clippings," not a record of Fusion GPS's substantive communications. In other words, this is what political strategist Dick Morris calls "a brazen disregard for a Congressional inquiry."
Now the questions are mounting. What are Simpson and Fusion GPS seeking to hide? Who funded their work? After all the smoke being blown around about a supposed Trump/Russia collusion conspiracy, it now looks as if the embers from that fire are resting on the Democrat side of the fence.  ~The Patriot Post

Dobbs, JW Farrell – Benghazi Not Going Away,
liar-Clinton Will Answer For Crimes
{} ~ Chris Farrell of Judicial Watch joins Lou Dobbs to discuss their recent victory over the deep state, delivered at the hand of a federal judge appointed by Hussein liar-nObama... ordering the State Department to search the email accounts of top liar-Clinton aides regarding the Benghazi crimes. The deliberate act of not checking the State Department’s .gov email server as a method of covering up the liar-Clinton cabal’s criminal actions is the first topic up for Dobbs and Farrell. Dobbs sets up the interview by commenting to his audience, “I know, you’re thinking, why would you not look first in the State Department server?” After congratulating Farrell on his major legal victory, Dobbs asks rhetorically, “Are we to infer that the liar-nObama administration did not go through the State Department servers for their email?” Farrell responded, “You are correct. They conducted a less-than-adequate search and that’s why the judge has ordered them to go back and do it the right way.”...
Save Preemption for Imminent North Korean Attack

by Bruce Klingner
{} ~ North Korea’s growing nuclear and missile capabilities are an existential threat to South Korea and Japan and will soon be a direct threat to the continental United States... Washington should make unambiguously clear that it will deter, defend, and if necessary defeat the North Korean military threat to ourselves and our allies. If it is determined that a North Korean missile flight might be directed at U.S. territory, the U.S. Administration should take all necessary actions to defend U.S. sovereignty and the American people. However, preemptive allied attacks should be reserved for convincing signs of imminent North Korean attack, not launched to fulfill pundits’ oft-spoken vows to shoot down North Korean missiles during test flights or while on launch gantries. The U.S. should be steadfast in its defense of South Korea, but preemptive attacks on test flights that do not clearly pose a security threat could trigger a war with a nuclear-armed state that also has a large conventional military force poised along the border with South Korea...
Generation X Needs to Save America from Millennials
by Matthew Hennessey
{} ~ Though one of its own sits yet again in the White House, the baby-boom generation, 78 million strong, is finally preparing to depart the scene. Theirs is a 40-year legacy of war, debt and cultural conflagration... The boomers won’t leave a vacuum when they go, however. The young and hungry millennials — roughly speaking, those between 18 and 35 — are licking their lips. Numbering 80 million, these tech-savvy kids are the largest generational cohort in American history, and they’re preparing to seize the commanding heights of the economy and culture. Given their size and cultural clout, the millennials could conceivably jump the queue, crowding out the more traditional priorities and preferences of the intervening Generation X, those roughly between ages 37 and 52 — and setting the terms of the national debate on everything from the economy to the future of free speech. Gen-Xers have often been described as reticent, certainly compared with the generations before and after them. It might be time to shed this habitual reluctance, however: If they don’t assert themselves soon, they risk losing their ability to influence the direction of the country...
Fired NSC Aide Reveals Political
Warfare Operation Targeting Trump
by Bill Gertz
{} ~ A White House National Security Council official has charged that leftist opponents of President Trump are engaged in political warfare operations designed to subvert his presidency and drive him from office... Rich Higgins, until recently director of strategic planning at the NSC, revealed the program in a seven-page memorandum produced in May that warns of a concerted information warfare campaign by the Marxist left, Islamists, and political leaders and government officials opposed to the populist president. "The Trump administration is suffering under withering information campaigns designed to first undermine, then delegitimize and ultimately remove the president," Higgins states...
Congressman’s Letter Seeks Mueller
Testimony on Conflicts of Interest, Partisan Staff
{} ~ There are a few honorable men left in Congress who have the courage to do what should be automatic and support their President. One of them is Republican Rep Brian Babin of Texas... Babin is circulating a letter among his colleagues seeking support for his request that special counsel Robert Mueller appear publicly in one or more congressional hearings. Among issues that may be addressed are the many conflicts of interest of Mueller in the “investigation” as well as his methods of selecting his Inquisitors, who somehow just happened to be overwhelmingly anti-Trump, pro liar-Clinton and politically active. Babin’s letter was sent to every congressman on Thursday and invites them to cosign a letter that he will send to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte and Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley...
This is Not a Dare, The U.S. Will
Respond If North Korea Goes After Guam
by Katie Pavlich
{} ~ Speaking from New Jersey Thursday afternoon while seated next to National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster and Vice President Mike Pence, President Trump told reporters North Korea will face consequences should they follow through with threats to attack Guam.

“Kim Jong Un has disrespected our country greatly. He has said things that are horrific. And with me he’s not getting away with it. He got away with it for a long time, between him and his family. He’s not getting away with it. This is a whole new ballgame. He’s not going to be saying those things and he’s certainly not going to be doing those things. I read about we’re in Guam by Aug. 15. Let’s see what he does with Guam. He does something in Guam, it will be an event the likes of which nobody’s seen before, what will happen in North Korea," Trump said.

“It’s not a dare. It’s a statement. It has nothing to do with dare. That’s a statement. He’s not going to go around threatening Guam and he’s not going to threaten the United States and he’s not going to threaten Japan and he’s not going to threaten South Korea. That’s not a dare, as you say. That is a statement of fact,” he continued.

The comments came after Trump held a national security briefing on a variety of issues ranging from Afghanistan to Venezuela.

"A lot of decisions were made, it was a very important day actually," Trump said.

The president addressed Russia's expulsion of U.S. diplomats from Moscow, the FBI's raid on former campaign director Paul Manafort's home, Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Attorney General Jeff Sessions and more.

Congressman Calls Trump ‘Psychopath’
For Saying Out Loud What Rational-Minded Americans
Are Thinking About FBI

Democrats have become so unhinged over their hatred for President Donald Trump that they think nothing of calling the commander in chief a “psychopath.”

Case in point, U.S. Rep. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., who took great exception to Trump saying out loud what most rational minded Americans are already thinking when it comes to the FBI.

The president took to Twitter on Saturday to state the obvious, that it’s unacceptable that the FBI failed to follow up on a credible tip about the Parkland, Fla., high school gunman who killed 17 people, and that the bureau has been too distracted in “trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign.”

“Very sad that the FBI missed all of the many signals sent out by the Florida school shooter. This is not acceptable. They are spending too much time trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign – there is no collusion. Get back to the basics and make us all proud!,” Trump tweeted.
Donald J. Trump Very sad that the FBI missed all of the many signals sent out by the Florida school shooter. This is not acceptable. They are spending too much time trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign - there is no collusion. Get back to the basics and make us all proud!

The FBI released a statement acknowledging that protocols were not followed when the tip that may have saved 17 lives was recieved.

“On January 5, 2018, a person close to Nikolas Cruz contacted the FBI’s Public Access Line (PAL) tipline to report concerns about him,” the bureau said in a statement. “The caller provided information about Cruz’s gun ownership, desire to kill people, erratic behavior, and disturbing social media posts, as well as the potential of him conducting a school shooting.”

As for the “signals” the president referenced, the killer could not have screamed his intentions any louder than he did in the weeks leading up to last week’s shooting.

But this proved to be inconsequential to Congressman Gallego, an Iraq War veteran who responded to the president’s post by declaring “America will regret the day you were ever born.”

“You are such a psychopath that you have to make even the death of 17 children about you. America will regret the day you were ever born,” he tweeted.

You are such a psychopath that you have to make even the death of 17 children about you. America will regret the day you were ever born.

Gallego, who announced in 2016 he was divorcing his wife while she was pregnant with their first child, criticized Trump is a second tweet for commenting on a news conference held by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who said that no Americans had knowledge of the efforts of 13 Russian nationals indicted last week for allegedly meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

The lawmaker noted that “children are being buried today.”

Of course, that didn’t stop the hypocrite from tweeting his support for pro-abortion Democratic women running for office on the same day “children are being buried.”
