Victims of Illegal Aliens Testify to Senate
Five families came to Capitol Hill Tuesday to tell lawmakers how the nation's immigration policies led to the death of their loved ones, and the Left can only play a political game. The father of Kathryn Steinle, the woman who was murdered in July by a five-time deported illegal immigrant, testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, along with four other families. "Everywhere Kate went throughout the world, she shined the light of a good citizen from the United States of America," Jim Steinle said in his written statement. "Unfortunately, due to the unjointed [sic] laws and basic incompetence of the government, the US has suffered a self-inflicted wound in the murder of our daughter by the hands of a person that should have never been on the streets of this country." The hearing coincided with a bill the committee's chairman, Sen. Chuck Grassley, introduced that would strip state or local jurisdictions of federal law enforcement grants if they continue sanctuary city policies. Furthermore, the law would require a minimum five-year jail sentence for any illegal immigrant who was previously deported but still returned. But the Left is rallying against the effort to fix the problem. "Good policies are made over time," wrote a coalition of leftist immigration groups to Congress. Ranking member on the Judiciary Committee Sen. Patrick Leahy rebutted the families' testimonies by writing, "We must resist the urge to hastily adopt legislation that has the unintended consequence of making us less safe." In other words, collateral damage is okay in the pursuit of nObama's immigration vision.  -The Patriot Post

 'Infanticide for Profit'
In the wake of another episode of Planned Parenthood's evil and twisted ways, here are a few more things to consider. Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards responded to the first video with an "apology" that spent a few seconds lamenting the "tone" of the abortionist and more than two minutes lauding the abortion mill's supposed virtue and slamming opponents for objecting in any way. The second video opened with one of her claims: “I want to be really clear: The allegation that Planned Parenthood profits in any way from tissue donation is not true." That's especially powerful since the entire second video is about the organization profiting from "tissue donation." As for the second video, Planned Parenthood continues to insist that nothing in the "heavily edited" videos contain nothing "to suggest any violation of the law or improper activity."
The Weekly Standard's Steve Hayes eviscerated Planned Parenthood and its defenders: "Let’s be clear what we’re talking about here. We’re talking about the extraction of infants, many of whom could live outside of the womb were this not done to them — the taking of their body parts and then selling them for profit. This is not morally ambiguous. This isn’t one of those discussions where there are two sides to the discussion. What we’re talking about is wrong. It’s morally reprehensible. I mean, I thought on the scale of things in the world that are morally reprehensible, infanticide is just about the worst. This is worse! It’s infanticide for profit!"
Politicians who receive donations from Planned Parenthood should be made to answer for its practices, as should the numerous businesses that donate to the organization. Republicans in Congress are working to strip more than $500 million in federal funding from Planned Parenthood — as well they should. Even aside from constitutional questions, such a morally bankrupt organization should have no claim to Americans' tax dollars.   -The Patriot Post

Handgun Permits Nearly Tripled Since 2007
In 2007, 4.6 million Americans possessed a permit to carry a handgun. Now, eight years later, that number is 12.8 million Americans, or 5.2% of the population, according to a study by the Crime Prevention Research Center. And contrary to the stereotype leftists hold of gun owners — that they're white males bitterly clinging to guns and religion — the body of armed citizens is growing more and more diverse. CPRC reports that there is evidence gun ownership is growing among minorities at a greater rate than among whites. Furthermore, gun ownership among women increased 270% from 2007 levels opposed to the 156% rate for men. While these numbers are heartening for lovers of Liberty and advocates for the right to self-defense, they are also probably low. After all, CPRC notes that there are 10 states in the union that allow some kind of permitless handgun carry (with Maine most recently joining those ranks). And there are signs that these gun owners aren't just exercising their hunting and fishing rights. At the SHOT Show in January, the National Shooting Sports Foundation released a study that found the number one reason women get a gun is for self-defense — all inconvenient truths for those who want to impose more gun control.   -The Patriot Post

 WALKER PAC COMES IN STRONG
Gov. Scott Walker, R-Wisc., released his PAC’s fundraising totals this morning with $20 million in the bank. The PAC Unitimidated said, “Unintimidated PAC’s fundraising total is the 3rd largest total for a Super PAC supporting a Republican candidate this quarter. The $20 million haul is even more impressive considering that the dollars were raised before Scott Walker officially entered the race for President.”  -Fox News

Walker and Hilly duke it over abortion ban -  Walker and Clinton both tweeted about the 20-week abortion ban Walker signed into law in Wisconsin Monday. Clinton posted a signed tweet saying the law was “extreme and unacceptable.” Walker tweeted back saying, “Hilly shows she’s out of touch with the majority of Americans who believe babies at 5 months deserve life. –SW”  -Fox News

Nuclear Creepout: Iran's Third Path to the Bomb
{Gary C. Gambill} ~ In assessing whether the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action(JCPOA) signed by the P5+1 world powers and Iran last week is an adequate safeguard against the latter's pursuit of a nuclear weapon, nObama administration officials and arms control wonks typically discuss two heavily stylized breakout scenarios... In an overt breakout, Iran brushes aside nuclear inspectors and begins openly racing to enrich weapons grade uranium (WGU) using its two declared enrichment plants at Natanz and Fordow. The JCPOA ostensibly blocks this path by limiting the number of centrifuges Iran can operate to 5,060 and capping the amount of low-enriched uranium (LEU) it can keep on hand to use as feedstock at 300 kilograms. This supposedly lengthens its breakout time—how quickly it can produce sufficient fissile material for one atomic bomb should it make a rush to build one—from two or three months at present to at least a year, giving the international community more time to mobilize a response to the breakout. In a covert breakout, or sneakout, Iran builds parallel infrastructure in secret to produce the fissile material for a bomb. The JCPOA ostensibly blocks this path with an inspections regime designed to detect the diversion of fissile material, the construction of illicit centrifuges, off-the-books uranium mining, and so forth.         http://www.meforum.org/5396/iran-creepout

Army General Exposes Barack nObama in a BIG WAY After Resigning
{thepoliticalinsider.com} ~ Outgoing Army Chief of Staff General Ray Odierno just dropped a bombshell on the American people... This top Army general admitted during an interview exactly what you and I assumed – the creation of the Islamic State (ISIS) can be blamed on President Barack nObama requiring our military scale back efforts in Iraq. As Odierno explains in a Fox News interview (below), Iraq would be on a track to security and prosperity if America had maintained a larger military presence there. Now, he finds it hard to watch Iraq erupt into violence, largely wiping out the progress made during President George W. Bush’s administration.       http://www.thepoliticalinsider.com/breaking-army-general-exposes-ba...

hanoi Kerry to House: No vote means war against Iran
{Susan Ferrechio} ~ Secretary of State hanoi John Kerry told a packed meeting of skeptical House lawmakers on Wednesday that a vote against the Iran nuclear deal would be a vote to "go to war," according to members leaving the meeting... The nObama administration will use the next several weeks to pitch skeptical Republicans and Democrats on the deal before Congress considers voting on the deal. Votes are expected on a resolution to disapprove of the deal. But despite hanoi Kerry's shrill warning about the prospect of armed conflict, some left the meeting saying they weren't convinced. Among the skeptical Democrats was Rep. Dan Lipinski, D-Ill., who said hanoi Kerry's approve-or-else pitch was falling flat.

US may now launch ISIS strikes from within Turkey
{foxnews.com} ~ The United States may now launch manned and unmanned military strikes against ISIS from inside Turkey, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday... Prior U.S. airstrikes against the Islamic State have originated from aircraft carriers in the Gulf. Turkey agreed to allow the U.S. expanded use of its Incirlik Air Base, though Turkish military aircraft won’t be used in any operations against ISIS, according to Today’s Zaman, an English language daily based in Turkey. Incirlik is located near the Turkish-Syrian border.        http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/07/23/report-us-may-now-launch-is...

UN Commie Con Man Kofi Annan Repeats The Big Lie
{rickwells.us} ~ He doesn’t rant like Nikita Khrushchev but his goals are the same and their message is so similar that Kofi Annan felt compelled to borrow from history and quote the former Soviet leader... Annan’s job at the “World Summit of Climate Conscience,” or what would more accurately be described as the “World Summit for Manipulation by Climate of the Unconscious,” an event coordinating and taking the next step towards world control, is to repeat the lie. Just as their predecessors Hitler and Goebbels knew, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.” Taking advantage of the ignorant Earth worshipping population is child’s play for these professional criminals.       http://rickwells.us/un-commie-con-man-kofi-annan-repeats-the-big-li...

Iran buys 100 Russian refueling aircraft for its air force to reach...
{gopthedailydose.com} ~ In defiance of the international arms embargo, Iran last week placed an order with Moscow for a huge fleet of 100 Russian IL78 MKI tanker aircraft (NATO: Midas) for refueling its air force in mid-flight, thereby extending its range to 7,300 km... This is reported exclusively by debkafile from its military and intelligence sources. The transaction runs contrary to the terms of the nuclear accord the six world powers and Iran signed in Vienna earlier this month. These tanker planes can simultaneously refuel six to eight warplanes. Their acquisition brings Israel, 1.200km away – as well the rest of the Middle East – within easy range of Iranian aerial bombardment. It also puts Iran’s air force ahead of Israel’s in terms of the quantity and range of its refueling capacity. Will this kill the Iran deal? The P-5+1 will over look this buy. Like nothing happen.

Rep. Gowdy speech on the Enforce the Law for Sanctuary Cities Act
{rickwells.us} ~ Trey Gowdy is known as a good speaker and he delivers once again in this instance, addressing the consequences of the lawlessness of the federal government as it pertains to immigration enforcement and their scofflaw counterparts, sanctuary local governments... While Gowdy makes a number of very good points, they are points that we’ve heard him make before. Perhaps this time, with national attention now being focused on the issue in the wake of Kate Steinle’s murder and others, something will get done; laws will be passed and existing or new laws might actually be enforced. The problem, as was revealed in the actions and testimony of ICE Director Sarah Saldana, is not solely one of the sanctuary cities. There is no desire within DHS to enforce immigration laws. Saldana made it obvious that she will defer to local jurisdictions that choose to ignore or refuse to obey federal law and honor ICE detainers. Her position is in keeping with the duplicitous DHS’ open borders policies under Jeh Johnson and Hussein nObama.        http://rickwells.us/a-great-trey-gowdy-speech-detailing-whats-wrong...

Impeach This Snake – hanoi Kerry Proud He “Painted America Into...
{rickwells.us} ~ hanoi John Kerry was described as having been fleeced and one of the most naïve people on the face of the Earth by Senators in hearings into the bad deal that keeps getting worse... that he and his comrades within the Iranian satellite operation at the White House produced. In response, hanoi Kerry added more evidence to the stack that indicates he and his team were either the biggest idiots ever to unworthily hold such power or the most subversive and corrupt, or both. He said, “Nobody has a plan, that is articulated, that is reasonable, as to how you are going to strengthen this, do something more, when the Supreme Leader of Iran and the President of Iran and others believe they’ve signed an agreement with the world.” hanoi Kerry illustrates exactly the problem with and the reason why they rushed this giveaway to the UN in the manner they did, prior to the prescribed 60 day review by Congress. They were counting on the United Nations overruling Congress by approving the deal themselves and making our Congress and their actions irrelevant. Clearly hanoi Kerry and the nObama regime knew ahead of time the actions that the UN would take.

New Yorkers to Schumer: Kill the Iran Deal or Find a New Job
{Alana Goodman} ~ Waving signs reading “Schumer—You Are No Shomer” and “Schumer—You Control the Votes to Stop the Iran Deal,” thousands of New Yorkers flooded Times Square on Wednesday evening to call on Congress to reject the nObama administration’s Iranian nuclear agreement... The rally, organized by the Jewish Rapid Response Coalition in partnership with dozens of U.S. pro-Israel groups, featured speeches by former New York Gov. George Pataki, Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, former Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau, and Rep. Trent Franks (R., Ariz.), among others. The crowd, estimated at 10,000 by event organizers, stretched over seven city blocks. Congress has 60 days to review—and potentially reject—the Iran nuclear deal reached by the nObama administration. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.), who will likely be his party’s next Senate leader, is seen as a key figure that can influence Democratic votes on the issue.        http://freebeacon.com/national-security/new-yorkers-to-schumer-kill...

Sorry, America: Iran won’t defeat ISIS for you
{J. Matthew McInnis and Andrew J. Bowen} ~ ISIS’s persistence has led some analysts to conclude—most recently Harvard’s Stephen Walt—that ISIS’s “state” will be a long-term reality in the region and one that Washington may soon have to come to terms with... From developing its own currency to managing a system of governance and terror wrapped in ideological fervidity, the Islamic State certainly has shown its resilience, despite its morphing geography since it captured Mosul in the summer of 2014. Since the finalizing of the Iranian nuclear agreement, Iran has been touted in Washington in some policy circles as the best partner in fighting ISIS. Potential common interests between Washington and Tehran—as well as Iran’s military capabilities—could make Tehran an effective ally in rolling back ISIS at a time when the United States is wary to commit to another ground war in the Middle East. This assessment has three substantial blind spots:        http://www.aei.org/publication/sorry-america-iran-wont-defeat-isis-...

nObama's age of nuclear chaos
Caroline B. Glick
.
.
{jewishworldreview.com} ~ On Tuesday, we moved into a new nuclear age.
.
In the old nuclear age, the US-led West had a system for preventing the proliferation of nuclear weapons. It had three components: sanctions, deterrence and military force. In recent years we have witnessed the successful deployment of all three.
.
In the aftermath of the 1991 Gulf War, the UN Security Council imposed a harsh sanctions regime on Iraq. One of its purposes was to prevent Iraq from developing nuclear weapons. After the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003, we learned that the sanctions had been successful. Saddam largely abandoned his nuclear program due to sanctions pressure.
.
The US-led invasion of Iraq terrified several rogue regimes in the region. In the two to three years immediately following the invasion, America’s deterrent strength soared to unprecedented heights.
.
As for military force, the nuclear installation that Syrian dictator Bashar Assad built in Deir a-Zour with Iranian money and North Korean technicians wasn’t destroyed through sanctions or deterrence. According to foreign media reports, in September 2007, Israel concluded that these paths to preventing nuclear proliferation to Syria would be unsuccessful.
.
So then-prime minister Ehud Olmert ordered the IDF to destroy it. The outbreak of the Syrian civil war three years later has prevented Assad and his Iranian bosses from reinstating the program, to date.
.
The old nuclear nonproliferation regime was highly flawed.
.
Pakistan and North Korea exploited the post-Cold War weaknesses of its sanctions and deterrence components to develop and proliferate nuclear weapons and technologies.
.
Due to American weakness, neither paid a serious price for its actions.
.
Yet, for all its flaws and leaks, the damage caused to the nonproliferation system by American weakness toward Pakistan and North Korea is small potatoes in comparison to the destruction that Tuesday’s deal with Iran has wrought.
.
That deal doesn’t merely show that the US is unwilling to exact a price from states that illicitly develop nuclear weapons. The US and its allies just concluded a deal that requires them to facilitate Iran’s nuclear efforts.
.
Not only will the US and its allies remove the sanctions imposed on Iran over the past decade and so start the flow of some $150 billion to the ayatollahs’ treasury. They will help Iran develop advanced centrifuges.
.
They even committed themselves to protecting Iran’s nuclear facilities from attack and sabotage.
.
Under the deal, in five years, Iran will have unlimited access to the international conventional arms market. In eight years, Iran will be able to purchase and develop whatever missile systems it desires.
.
And in 10 years, most of the limitations on its nuclear program will be removed.
.
Because the deal permits Iran to develop advanced centrifuges, when the agreement ends in 10 years, Iran will be positioned to develop nuclear weapons immediately.
.
In other words, if Iran abides by the agreement, or isn’t punished for cheating on it, in 10 years, the greatest state sponsor of terrorism in the world will be rich, in possession of a modernized military, a ballistic missile arsenal capable of carrying nuclear warheads to any spot on earth, and the nuclear warheads themselves.
.
Facing this new nuclear reality, the states of the region, including Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and perhaps the emirates, will likely begin to develop nuclear arsenals. ISIS will likely use the remnants of the Iraqi and Syrian programs to build its own nuclear program.
.
Right now, chances are small that Congress will torpedo Barack nObama’s deal. nObama and his backers plan to spend huge sums to block Republican efforts to convince 13 Democratic senators and 43 Democratic congressmen to vote against the deal and so achieve the requisite two-thirds majority to cancel American participation in the deal.
.
Despite the slim chances, opponents of the deal, including Israel, must do everything they can to convince the Democrats to vote against it in September. If Congress votes down the deal, the nuclear chaos nObama unleashed on Tuesday can be more easily reduced by his successor in the White House.
.
If Congress rejects the deal, then US sanctions against Iran will remain in force. Although most of the money that will flow to Iran as a result of the deal is now frozen due to multilateral sanctions, and so will be transferred to Iran regardless of congressional action, retaining US sanctions will make it easier politically and bureaucratically for nObama’s replacement to take the necessary steps to dismantle the deal.
.
Just as the money will flow to Iran regardless of Congress’s vote, so Iran’s path to the bomb is paved regardless of what Congress does.
.
Under one scenario, if Congress rejects the deal, Iran will walk away from it and intensify its nuclear activities in order to become a nuclear threshold state as quickly as possible. Since the deal has destroyed any potential international coalition against Iran’s illegal program, no one will bat a lash.
.
nObama will be deeply bitter if Congress rejects his “historic achievement.” He can be expected to do as little as possible to enforce the US sanctions regime against his Iranian comrades. Certainly he will take no military action against Iran’s nuclear program.
.
As a consequence, regardless of congressional action, Iran knows that it has a free hand to develop nuclear weapons at least until the next president is inaugurated on January 20, 2017.
.
The other possible outcome of a congressional rejection of the deal is that Iran will stay in the deal and the US will be the odd man out.
.
In a bid to tie the hands of her boss’s successor and render Congress powerless to curb his actions, the day before the deal was concluded, nObama’s UN Ambassador Samantha Power circulated a binding draft resolution to Security Council members that would prohibit member nations from taking action to harm the agreement.
.
If the resolution passes – and it is impossible to imagine it failing to pass – then Iran can stay in the deal, develop the bomb with international support and the US will be found in breach of a binding UN Security Council resolution.
.
Given that under all scenarios, Tuesday’s deal ensures that Iran will become a threshold nuclear power, it must be assumed that Iran’s neighbors will now seek their own nuclear options.
.
Moreover, in light of nObama’s end-run around the Congress, it is clear that regardless of congressional action, the deal has already ruined the 70-year old nonproliferation system that prevented nuclear chaos and war.
.
After all, now that the US has capitulated to Iran, its avowed foe and the greatest state sponsor of terrorism, who will take future American calls for sanctions against nuclear proliferators seriously? Who will be deterred by American threats that “all options are on the table” when the US has agreed to protect Iran’s nuclear installations and develop advanced centrifuges for the same ayatollahs who daily chant, “Death to America”? For Israel, the destruction of the West’s nonproliferation regime means that from here on out, we will be living in a region buzzing with nuclear activity. Until Tuesday, Israel relied on the West to deter most of its neighbors from developing nuclear weapons. And when the West failed, Israel dealt with the situation by sending in the air force. Now, on the one hand Israel has no West to rely on for sanctions or deterrence, and on the other hand, it has limited or no military options of its own against many of the actors that will now seek to develop nuclear arsenals.
.
Consider Israel’s situation. How could Israel take action against an Egyptian or Jordanian nuclear reactor, for instance? Both neighboring states are working with Israel to defeat jihadist forces threatening them all. And that cooperation extends to other common threats. Given these close and constructive ties, it’s hard to see how Israel could contemplate attacking them.
.
But on the other hand, the regimes in Amman and Cairo are under unprecedented threat.
.
In theory they can be toppled at any moment by jihadist forces, from the Muslim Brotherhood to ISIS. It’s already happened once in Egypt.
.
The same considerations apply to Saudi Arabia.
.
As for Turkey, its NATO membership means that if Israel were to attack Turkish nuclear sites, it would run the risk of placing itself at war not only with Turkey, but with NATO.
.
Given Israel’s limited military options, we will soon find ourselves living under constant nuclear threat. Under these new circumstances, Israel must invest every possible effort in developing and deploying active nuclear defenses.
.
One key aspect to this is missile defense systems, which Israel is already developing.
.
But nuclear bombs can be launched in any number of ways.
.
Old fashioned bombs dropped from airplanes are one option.
.
Artillery is another. Even suicide trucks are good for the job.
.
Israel needs to develop the means to defend itself against all of these delivery mechanisms. At the same time, we will need to operate in hostile countries such as Lebanon, Syria and elsewhere to destroy deliveries of nuclear materiel whether transferred by air, sea or land.
.
Here is the place to mention that Israel still may have the ability to attack Iran’s nuclear sites. If it does, then it should attack them as quickly and effectively as possible.
.
No, a successful Israeli attack cannot turn back the clock. Israel cannot replace the US as a regional superpower, dictating policy to our neighbors. But a successful attack on Iran’s nuclear program along with the adoption of a vigilantly upheld strategy of active nuclear defense can form the basis of a successful Israeli nuclear defense system.
.
And no, Israel shouldn’t be overly concerned with how nObama will respond to such actions.
.
Just as nObama’s nuclear capitulation to Iran has destroyed his influence among our Arab neighbors, so his ability to force Israel to sit on the sidelines as he gives Iran a nuclear arsenal is severely constrained.
.
How will he punish Israel for defying him? By signing a nuclear deal with Iran that destroys 70 years of US nonproliferation strategy, allows the Iranian regime to grow rich on sanctions relief, become a regional hegemon while expanding its support for terrorism and develop nuclear weapons? Years from now, perhaps historians will point out the irony that nObama, who loudly proclaims his goal of making the world free of nuclear weapons, has ushered in an era of mass nuclear proliferation and chaos.
.
Israel can ill afford the luxury of pondering irony.
.
One day the nuclear Furies nObama has unleashed may find their way to New York City.
.
But their path to America runs through Israel. We need to ready ourselves to destroy them before they cross our border.
.

Judicial Watch->  Emails Show Dossier-Connected Obama State Dept Officials Set ‘Face-To-Face’ Meeting On ‘Russian Matter’ Shortly Before 2016 Election

Judicial Watch and the Daily Caller News Foundation on Thursday released 84 pages of documents showing Obama’s State Department was central to pushing the ‘Trump-Russia’ hoax shortly before the 2016 election.

The email exchange between then-Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and Special Coordinator for Libya Jonathan Winer, a very close associate to Christopher Steele, show them discussing a ‘face-to-face’ meeting in New York on a ‘Russian matter’ in September of 2016.

Via Judicial Watch:

Judicial Watch and The Daily Caller News Foundation today released 84 pages of documents, including a September 2016 email exchange between then-Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and Special Coordinator for Libya Jonathan Winer, a close associate of dossier author Christopher Steele, discussing a “face-to-face” meeting on a “Russian matter.”

(In June 2016 Nuland permitted a meeting between Steele and the FBI’s legal attaché in Rome. Nuland told CBS News that the State Department knew about the Steele dossier by July 2016.)

According to an op-ed Winer wrote for The Washington Post in 2018, also in September 2016, “Steele and I met in Washington and discussed the information now known as the “dossier… I prepared a two-page summary and shared it with Nuland, who indicated that, like me, she felt that the secretary of state needed to be made aware of this material.”

A September 17, 2016, email exchange between Nuland and Winer – that was classified in the interest of national defense or foreign policy – discusses the political situation in Libya, but also brings up a “Russian matter:”

If Victoria Nuland’s name sounds familiar it’s because she has been on Judicial Watch’s radar for a long time and in many of TGP’s previous reports.

In December 2018, Judicial Watch released documents revealing that Victoria Nuland was involved in the Obama State Department’s urgent gathering of classified Russia investigation information and disseminating it to members of Congress within hours of Donald Trump taking office.

In a related lawsuit, Judicial Watch is suing the State Department communications between Ambassador Nuland and employees of Fusion GPS, as well as top ranking Department of Justice, FBI, and State Department officials.

“The Obama State Department was central to the effort to target President Trump with the Russia smear,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “These new emails further show that senior Obama State Department advanced the Russiagate hoax just before the 2016 presidential election.”
