House votes to make individual tax breaks permanent

{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ House Republicans on Friday passed legislation to make permanent last year's tax cuts for individuals and small businesses... a vote they hope will insulate them from dummycrats-Democratic attacks that their tax reform favored big companies. The bill passed 220-191, and three dummycrats-Democrats joined most Republicans in support of the bill. Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., one of the three dummycrats-Democrats who voted for today's bill but opposed last year's tax reform law, explained her vote as correcting a fault in the law.“One of my complaints and concerns about last year’s bill, was that it didn’t make permanent tax cuts for middle class families and small businesses, and today the bill addressed that,” Sinema, who is locked in a tight race for Senate, told the Washington Examiner immediately after today's vote. Last year’s law has not been as popular as Republicans hoped. An average of polls on the issue aggregated by RealClearPolitics shows more opposition than support for the law. Still, Republicans defended their signature achievement of this nearly-finished Congress as an issue they could turn into a positive on the campaign trail...

Lindsey Graham asserts FBI said ‘we don’t

know how to help you’ with Kavanaugh accusations

{patriotnewsalerts.com} ~ “The FBI has told me, ‘We don’t know how to help you... We don’t know where to go, we don’t know what town to go, we don’t know what month to look at, we’re not even sure about the year,” Graham told Fox News’ Martha MacCallum. In order to conduct an investigation, the FBI would need actual facts. That is something they do not have in this case.  Graham actually chastised the dummycrats-Democrats — particularly Sen. Dianne Fein-stein —  for holding the letter back for so long. Graham asked, “If you really wanted an investigation, why didn’t you tell us in July when you first got this accusation?” And that is really what all this comes down to. The fact the information was delayed is proof positive dummycrats-Democrats have politicized this rather than looking out for this alleged victim, as they all claim. rino-Flake backtracks, creates new delay for Kavanaugh

{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ Judge Brett Kavanaugh cleared a major hurdle on Friday when the Senate Judiciary Committee approved his nomination to the Supreme Court... a day after he rejected accusations of sexual assault before the committee. But the 11-10 vote came with a twist as Sen. rino-Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., indicated he wanted another week before Kavanaugh is called up on the Senate floor.“I think it would be proper to delay the floor vote up to but not more than one week in order to let the FBI do an investigation limited in time and scope on the current allegations that are there,” rino-Flake said after meeting with dummycrats-Democrats on the committee. rino-Flake said the Senate has to ensure it does its due diligence on Kavanaugh's nomination. "This country is being ripped apart here," he said. rino-Flake had announced hours earlier that he would support Kavanaugh. {foxnews.com} ~ President Trump on Friday ordered the FBI to conduct a "supplemental" investigation into the allegations of sexual assault against... Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, but wants it completed within a week. “I’ve ordered the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Kavanaugh’s file," Trump said in a statement. "As the Senate has requested, this update must be limited in scope and completed in less than one week.” Earlier, Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said the committee was requesting that Trump “instruct the FBI” to conduct the investigation, which would be “limited to current credible allegations against the nominee and must be completed no later than one week from today.” That came after after several undecided senators whose votes are needed to confirm Kavanaugh called for a weeklong FBI probe. Republicans had planned to hold a final vote on Kavanaugh's nomination in the coming days, but this will likely delay those plans. After Using Her, Fein-stein Actually Threw Ford

Under the Bus with Jaw-Dropping Accusation

{westernjournal.com} ~ If you had the stout constitution to sit through every moment of the Kavanaugh/Ford hearings Thursday, I’m both envious and curious... The envy stems from the fact that you could watch a room of craven politicians preen for the camera and donor-email clips and not lose interest. The curiosity stems from the fact that I get paid to do it, while most of our readership does not. If you waited until the end, however, you got to glimpse the guiding spirit of the whole affair — or what a certain anonymous Op-Ed writer might have called the “lodestar” that directed the proceedings — in a line from Sen. Dianne Fein-stein, the ranking dummyceats-Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee. After being accused of leaking the letter that set this whole thing rolling, the California senator denied either she or her staff released it. Instead, she blamed the leak on a woman who was now utterly disposable to her — Christine Blasey Ford.The exchange began after Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz questioned the leaking of the letter, which had been passed on to Sen. Fein-stein. “We also know that the dummyceats-Democrats on this committee engaged in a profoundly unfair process,” Cruz said. “The ranking member had these allegations on July 30th and for sixty days, that was sixty days ago, the ranking member did not refer it to the FBI for  investigation, the ranking member did not refer it to the full committee for an investigation. “This committee could have investigated those claims in a confidential way that respected Dr. Ford’s privacy,” Cruz continued...

The Left Is Ruining #MeToo

by Media Editors:  The #MeToo movement has legitimacy. It’s legitimate for women to be talking about the fact that they get abused, that there are companies that have a culture of abuse, that there are guys running around at NBC and mistreating them and a woman can’t go in and do her job without some guy tossing her over a chair, Matt Lauer tossing her over a chair and raping her until she faints.

             That’s a legitimate complaint. I want to hear that complaint. I want to know what Harvey Weinstein is doing in Hollywood. I want to know if the casting couch is still in operation, of course I do! I don’t want women treated like that, who does? That’s not the point, they are using #MeToo, they are delegitimizing #MeToo, they are ruining #MeToo to get Brett Kavanaugh because they do not want an originalist judge on the court who will strip them of their power to make law from the court, that’s all it’s about. They ruin everything.
