Daily Mail: “Police in Colorado have cited a 37-year-old man for carrying his computer into an alley then shooting it eight times with a handgun after what authorities said had been a long battle with the uncooperative machine. Lucas Hinch, who runs an organic herb and tea shop, was cited for discharging a firearm within city limits after officers responded to a ‘shots fired’ call early on Monday evening, the Colorado Springs Police Department said in a statement. ‘Investigation revealed a resident was fed up with fighting his computer for the last several months,’ said the statement, entitled ‘Man Kills His Computer.’ ‘He took the computer into the back alley and fired eight shots into the computer with a handgun, effectively disabling it,’ it added…‘I just had it,’ Hinch told The Smoking Gun. It would be one thing for a politician to cash in her influence to get rich. Most do, toone degree or another. But what if a politician used her official position to do favors for her patrons? That starts to sound like something that can cross the line between unseemly and potentially illegal. But what if those favors compromised national security? That’s the incendiary claim made against presumptive Democratic nominee Hilly Clinton in a forthcoming book and laid out in today’s NYT. The author’s allegation, which will air on television for the first time today at 10 a.m. ET on the Fox News Channel, is that Clinton personally benefited from a deal that would eventually make the United States dependent on Vladimir Putin’s Russia for its supply of uranium. -Fox News 
What will they say? - The Times, which like Fox News and the Washington Post, was given advance access to the book and its supporting documentation in order to verify its claims, drops its first story today. There are more bombshells to come, some of which will be revealed in “Special Report with Bret Baier” tonight at 6 p.m. ET, but this opening salvo is devastating. Baier, who has been working on the project for weeks, described the importance of this chapter: “While all of these deals and the money that flowed to the Clintons is complicated, now the nascent Clinton campaign will have to respond with more than just ‘you can't prove it.’ And hovering over all of this is a destroyed email server that many lawmakers now believe may have held the keys to unlock the behind-the-scenes connections between the Clinton Foundation, the family’s personal fortune and the secretary of state.”

What's Missing from Jewish Conservatism?

I agree with them: the sanctity of the traditional family structure; a Jewish nationalism that joins morality, Jewish identity, and self-preservation; and a measured embrace of free markets...For Cohen, these ideas form part of a call to arms, a call that is directed not only to like-minded conservatives but that might ultimately fire and perhaps rescue Jews on the brink of assimilation, weakness, and self-destruction. And yet there is something missing. Midway through this sweeping essay, Cohen enlists the biblical book of Joshua to illustrate certain hard truths about the requirements of Jewish survival and continuity. Among those requirements is the one taught by the figure of Joshua himself, the conqueror of Canaan—namely, having the power, when necessary, to wage and to win war.

Why on earth would conservatives oppose the fast-track trade bill?
(John Yoo) - Not surprisingly, trade unions are rushing to the ramparts against the legislation, as are Democratic leaders like senators Chuck Schumer and Elizabeth Warren. They would like to repeal the laws of economics and deny the benefits of free trade. That’s no surprise...But what makes little sense are the media reports that some tea-party and conservative groups may convince a significant number of House Republicans to vote against the deal. It would be hypocritical for these groups to oppose fast track because of opposition to free trade. Most of the tea-party groups rose up because of their opposition to the government bailouts and stimulus spending in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis and then to Obamacare. They opposed government intervention in the free market and wasteful taxes and spending, and they defended the freedom of the individual to make their own choices as to their health care and other fundamental decisions. Free-trade deals have exactly the same effect: They repeal the government barriers, both here and abroad, that interfere with free markets. They may not be perfect — no agreement has ever reduced all barriers to trade — but these deals will benefit the American economy as a whole, even if some industries stand to win and others to lose (as they do in competitive markets anyway).

Petraeus sentenced to 2 years' probation for military leak
(foxnews.com) - Former CIA Director David Petraeus, whose career was destroyed by an extramarital affair with his biographer...has been sentenced to two years' probation and a $100,000 fine for giving her classified material while she was working on the book. Thursday's sentencing came two months after Petraeus agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor count of unauthorized removal and retention of classified material. The plea agreement carried a possible sentence of up to a year in prison. In court papers, prosecutors recommended two years of probation and a $40,000 fine. But the judge was not bound by that.

No, Hilly Didn't Forget to Report Her Foreign Millions to IRS
( John Hayward) - There’s nothing particularly complicated about it. Your job is to report it all to the American people, deflect the hurricane of spin blasting at you from Clinton hench persons, and build one of those Narratives you love so much...It will be tough, because your names have been tucked into the Rolodexes of those Clinton flacks for decades. You’re part of their social circle, where Bill is still a charming presence. Clinton operatives, and family members, have slipped smoothly into top media jobs. Clinton is the only serious candidate for 2016 from your beloved Democrat Party; every time mainstream-media editorial boards start thinking Clinton’s baggage is too heavy for them to carry, they look at the rest of the Democrat bench, swallow hard, and pick those bags right back up. But there is a Narrative here, and it’s too clear to obfuscate. The Narrative has to include Hilly’s email scandal, since it’s now pretty obvious why she was so desperate to keep her correspondence as Secretary of State off the books, ignoring subpoenas to swiftly delete the most incriminating material. The truth is huge, and obvious, and staring you right in the face. If you pitch in with Clinton’s spin team and the Democratic National Committee to bury this story, you’ll lose whatever credibility you have left with the American people. They’ve already been given ample reason to distrust you. Clinton’s scandalpalooza has the look of a last straw about it.

The United States switched sides in the War on Terror, facilitating the provision of weapons to al Qaeda-linked rebels during the Libyan civil war. These two actions fostered the climate for the preventableSeptember 11, 2012 terror attacks. ACLU demands Catholic groups pay illegals' abortions
(Cheryl Chumley) - The American Civil Liberties Union has launched a lawsuit against the federal government to force Catholic groups that take taxpayer dollars to provide birth control and abortions for illegal immigrants... “We have heard reports that Catholic bishops are prohibiting Catholic charities from allowing teens in their care to access critical services like contraception and abortion, even if the teenager has been raped on her journey to the United States or in a detention facility,” said ACLU staff attorney Brigitte Amiri, Fox News reported. The suit seeks access to public records related to health care provided from unaccompanied illegal children who were served by Catholic-tied groups. Depending on the content of those documents, the ACLU said it could take further legal action. (jewishworldreview.com) - Russian President Vladimir Putin raised concerns Saturday about Israeli plans to give lethal aid to Ukraine. In an appearance on a Russian TV show, he contended giving the Ukrainian military weapons to fight pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine will increase the death toll and further undermine the Minsk II agreement.
"It’s the choice of the Israeli leadership. They are entitled to do what they deem expedient," the Russian president said. "I think it’s counterproductive if the talk is about lethal weapons because it will only lead to an additional coil of confrontation, an increase in human victims and the result will be just the same.”
Israel’s plans come a week after Russia decided to supply Iran with an advanced missile defense system, also known as the S-300, which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said would further destabilize the Middle East. This was despite repeated claims by Russian officials the S-300 was for protection. Putin reiterated those claims Saturday, saying it was a “purely defensive weapon” and does “not undermine Israel’s defense capacity in any way.”
Russia supplied Iran with the system after the Middle East country came to an interim agreement with six world powers over its controversial nuclear program. The West had contended Iran planned to build nuclear weapons while Tehran maintained its program was for peaceful purposes only.
Iran hopes the deal, which is to be finalized by June 30, will lead to an end of sanctions against the country, allowing it to rejoin global financial markets and import and export goods.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said the sale of the weapons system was a goodwill gesture rewarding Iran’s progress in the talks.
Ukraine has asked for lethal aid in the past, but U.S. President Barack nObama said he wanted to see if the Minsk II agreement, which came into force Feb. 15, could work. However, heavy fighting in the last week in Donetsk and the port city of Mariupol have left the entire peace process in a fragile state.
