Sanctuary Cities a Threat to ICE Officers
and Community, Increase Deportation Risk" width="422" height="179" />
{ } ~ Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan is Tucker Carlson’s guest... discussing the federal government’s lawsuit against the State of California and the insanity of officials in creating a dangerous situation for law enforcement and the community alike. The only ones who benefit from sanctuary policies are the criminals and the pandering Democrats at election time. Carlson notes the conditions under California’s SB-54 law, which make it a violation of state law for a citizen to obey federal law and cooperate with ICE officers, even to the point of simply responding to their questions. Homan says things are much more difficult in California, since they aren’t able to take custody of a deportation target in the jail but must instead attempt an arrest on their turf, where they may be armed and where there are unknown individuals associated with them present... .
Agent Strzok Refused to Probe Breach of
liar-Hillary’s Server by Foreign Entities" width="350" height="193" />
{ } ~ A shocking report shows that disgraced FBI Agent Peter Strzok the one who Mueller removed from his investigation... may have broken with the top law enforcement institution’s protocol to help cover up a significant liar-Hillary Clinton server breach. Fox News has learned from multiple sources close to the investigation that Agent Strzok was made aware that an irregularity had been discovered in the liar-Clinton server’s metadata. The coding evidence suggested that a hostile breach of classified information may have occurred, putting national security at risk. Strzok has become infamous for his salacious romance with an liar-nObama Administration Department of Justice attorney and a series of anti-Trump messages. Texts appear to suggest that Strzok and his romantic interest, Lisa Page, were inclined to put their professional thumbs on the scale in an effort to exonerate liar-Hillary Clinton. Other texts suggest that the pair had some type of “insurance policy” against then-candidate Donald J. Trump should he win the White House... .
Is Greece about to Recognize
Jerusalem as Israel's Capital?" width="390" height="260" />
by Maria Polizoidou
{ } ~ On his return from a recent two-day trip to Israel -- where he met with high-level officials -- Adonis Georgiadis... the vice president of Greece's opposition party, New Democracy, declared his support for recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital. In an interview with Skai Radio on March 7, Georgiadis called it "almost funny to discuss whether Jerusalem is a Jewish city or not." "It was founded by the Jews... in ancient times. You can read Flavius Josephus or read Diodoros Siceliotis and see the references to the city of Jerusalem, where there was the High Priest of Solomon's Temple and that it was the city of the Jews. This is the reality." When challenged by the interviewer, who said, "But as time went by, many things happened in the city's history," Georgiadis, a historian, replied...
Third-Highest House Democrat Shared Stage With Farrakhan, Now Refuses To Denounce" width="406" height="174" />
{ } ~ The third-highest ranking House Democrat shared a stage with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan... a notorious racist and anti-Semite, and has refused to condemn the hate group leader. South Carolina Rep. James Clyburn attended a 2011 event with Farrakhan and shared the stage with him, even after Jewish groups voiced their opposition to Clyburn attending the event. Clyburn told the Final Call, a Nation of Islam publication, that he was “not bothered in the least bit” by criticisms of his attendance at the event. As the assistant Democratic leader, Clyburn is the third-highest ranked Democrat in the House. He declined to condemn Farrakhan in a statement released to The Daily Caller News Foundation on Thursday...There is no doubts, we always knew where he stood.

What Betrayal Feels Like" width="370" height="207" />
{ } ~ President Donald Trump reportedly threatened to veto the $1 trillion budget to fund the government... if it includes funding for a tunnel project connecting New York City and New Jersey. Trump reportedly told House Speaker Paul Ryan to keep $900 million for the tunnel project out of the omnibus bill, which funds the government past March 23, but now the president indicates he’s willing to derail the budget to prevent the project, Politico reported. “We definitely had the commitment,” New York Republican Rep. Peter King told Politico of reaching a deal with Trump to back the Gateway project.  The White House now views the project as something New Jersey and New York taxpayers should pay for...
Give VA Secretary David Shulkin the Boot" width="411" height="210" />

by Michelle Malkin
{ } ~ Will the VA scandal never end?

While the Department of Veterans Affairs secretary lives high on the hog and his lying chief of staff resigns in disgrace while escaping any punishment, legions of vets every day in this country are denied the medical care they earned.

President Trump was supposed to drain the swamp. But at the historically fraud-ridden and profligate VA, the alligators continue feasting on the public dime.

Trump's VA secretary, David Shulkin, is an liar-nObama holdover. His main agenda is to block any real reforms for veterans, which includes expanding their ability to obtain care from private doctors and hospitals. His daughter, Jennifer, is a Harvard law student and loudmouth Huffington Post contributor who used her Twitter account recently to defend her dad against "right-winged, pro-privatization Trump appointees."

Two weeks ago, Shulkin launched a purge of what he calls "subversive" employees that he accuses of trying to undermine him. It's the same tactic liar-nObama VA officials used to silence whistleblowers who exposed secret waiting lists to nowhere that cost untold thousands of patients across at least seven states their lives.

This latest witch hunt for dissenters comes in the wake of a scathing inspector general's report last month on Shulkin's 10-day junket to Europe last summer. The VA secretary spent a grand total of three and a half days on supposed business meetings in Copenhagen and London. For the rest of the time, Shulkin directed a VA underling to act as his personal travel agent -- on your dime -- to plan sightseeing for him and his wife, including:

--Touring Amalienborg Palace for the changing of the guard and visiting Christiansborg Palace, Rosenborg Castle and Frederiksborg Castle in Denmark.

--Boating and dining in Copenhagen and dining in Malmo, Sweden.

--Trekking to the Churchill War Rooms, Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, Westminster Abbey, Thames River, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe, the London Eye and Windsor Castle.

The inspector general discovered that Shulkin also improperly accepted Wimbledon tickets from a British socialite. To evade ethics guidelines, Shulkin claimed the socialite was his wife's "friend," but the socialite couldn't even remember Shulkin's wife's name when questioned by investigators.

Nice family vacay if you can get it -- and you can get it subsidized, if your underlings lie.

Shulkin's chief of staff, Vivieca Wright Simpson, admitted doctoring an email in order to get Shulkin's wife's airfare paid for by the public. Wright Simpson misled an ethics officer into believing that Shulkin was receiving an award at a dinner and that his wife therefore qualified as an "invitational traveler." It was a big fat fabrication. Shulkin received no award. His wife was not eligible for the travel reimbursements for her whopping $4,000 plane tickets.

Nevertheless, Wright Simpson -- a career bureaucrat who started at the VA in 1998 and ascended during the liar-nObama administration -- was allowed to retire with full benefits. No punishment.

Shulkin remains unrepentant and baselessly blamed a computer "hack" for his top aide's email shenanigans. The IG found no evidence of his backside-covering claim. The ghost of Anthony Weiner lives.

And just wait, another shoe of corruption is about to drop. According to The Daily Beast, another IG report involving Shulkin's "use of his security detail to run personal errands" may be released in the next week. Shulkin's response? Underlings are reporting that he is in the throes of "paranoia," ordering an "armed guard" to stand watch outside his office and banning employees he suspects of "disloyalty."

The VA's culture of fear and reprisals against whistleblowers is endemic. Accountability is rarer than a Siamese unicorn. Fiscally responsible vets seeking coverage for emergency room bills are punished for not seeing VA doctors enough. The administrators responsible for blowing a billion-dollar hole in the budget of the Aurora, Colorado, VA boondoggle have escaped any consequences.

The last thing this corrupted bureaucracy needs is a Captain Queeg-meets-Leona Helmsley at the helm.

As Colorado GOP Rep. Mike Coffman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee wrote in a letter to the White House last week: "Mr. President, you promised the American people that you would end the culture of corruption and bureaucratic incompetence that for far too long has defined the leadership of the VA. Unfortunately, Secretary Shulkin, by his conduct, lacks the moral authority to achieve your goals of a transparent, accountable VA."

President Trump, your corrupt VA secretary is hostile to you, to the truth and to the taxpayers. He needs to hear those famous words from you:

"You're fired."

Reporter Kicked Out Of Michelle Obama
Conference For Violating ‘Black Girl Code’

The Black Entertainment Television channel recently hosted a conference in south Florida for black women known as “Leading Women Defined,” which featured a casual conversation between former first lady Michelle Obama and former senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett.

But according to the New York Post’s Page Six, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who was in attendance was booted from the remainder of the conference after she wrote an article about some of the comments Obama had made during the discussion.

Robin Givhan, a fashion critic and staff writer for The Washington Post, documented the highlights of the friendly chat between Obama and Jarrett.

Some of the highlights of the conversation included the former first lady’s thoughts on President Donald Trump’s inauguration as the Obamas prepared to leave the White House, the role she played during the 2008 election, her difficulty settling in as “the spouse” to the president, how she described her White House garden as a “subversive act” to garner trust with the public and her upcoming memoir. Of course Givhan also wrote about what Obama was wearing … after all, she is a fashion critic.

But following the publication of the article, according to Page Six, BET demanded Givhan leave the conference early amid claims that she had violated a “sacred space” by publishing the content of the conversation.

They also canceled a panel discussion that Givhan initially had been asked to moderate.

However, Page Six noted that BET’s claim that Obama’s discussion was “private” and not intended to be shared with anyone else outside the small gathering in attendance didn’t hold up to scrutiny given the fact that BET itself posted clips from the discussion on its site.

Furthermore, Jarrett also posted those clips on social media and told everyone to “tune in” to the network so they could hear what Obama had to say.

Shortly thereafter, the dispute descended into a sharp back-and-forth on social media between Givhan and others who were irked at what she had done, as can be seen on Givhan’s Twitter feed.

Several of her critics asserted that the conversation had been “off-the-record” — an assertion Givhan flatly denied — and one user claimed the reporter had “violated a sacred trust” between black women.

Another said what she had done was a “complete violation of journalistic ethics and Black girl code, all at once,” while still another asserted through a hashtag that Givhan was “#notoneofus,” as if she were being banished from the exclusive realm of accepted professional black women.

For their part, a BET representative told Page Six that Givhan had been “invited as a guest (not working press) to moderate a fashion panel,” and noted that her travel and lodging expenses had been paid for by the network.

“She was made aware that it was an intimate conversation in a sacred space of sisterhood and fellowship,” the rep added.

Neither Givhan nor representatives for Obama responded to requests for comment on the report from Page Six.

If the WaPo reporter really was instructed ahead of time that the conversation between Obama and Jarrett was “off the record” and a private affair, but published anyway, then BET was justified in booting her from the remainder of the conference — though the mean-spirited commentary she received on social media still crossed the line.

But if Givhan received no prior warning on the matter — and given the fact that BET itself published the conversation later — then this is just a major display of hypocrisy and unnecessary infighting.

What do you think?
