Heritage Panel Calls for Military Healthcare Reform
{John Grady} ~ With the chairmen and ranking members of the House and Senate Armed Services Committees agreeing to take on the military healthcare system in next year’s budget... a former Pentagon comptroller said the recommended changes the panels will consider would “protect the family” while the Defense Department’s plans would only increase co-pays and reduce benefits. Speaking Wednesday at the Heritage Foundation, a Washington, D.C., think-tank, Dov Zakheim, who also served on the Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission, said by putting the overhauled healthcare system under the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) “not only will it help the families; it will save DoD money.” He said the commission estimated the savings at $6 billion. “The comptroller wears the black hat” when it comes to making decisions on Pentagon spending. With the third nObamacare open enrollment in full swing, consumers nationwide are reeling from health insurance premium sticker shock. Which explains why healthcare costs and access to healthcare remain the single most important issue to Americans. A few weeks ago, we discussed the issue of some health insurance markets suffering disproportionately under nObamacare. In the fourth largest city in the country, Houstonians will have the option of a grand total of zero independent Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)plans to choose from. Why? Providers say they can no longer offer independent plans for an affordable price. Yet another Texas market faces the downside of nObamacare fallout. According to a new study, Dallas is the recipient of the nation’s largest premium rate hikes. Consumers not wanting to pay higher premiums for the same or less coverage are being encouraged to enroll in another health care plan. {DEAN JAMES} ~ President Barack nObama is determined to bring these Syrian refugees into the United States by any means necessary, including breaking the law of the land... Half the country doesn’t want them and have openly rejected the refugee placement plan but nObama doesn’t care- he writes his own laws. National Review reports that The Refugee Act of 1980 says that the federal Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement is supposed to work in cooperation with state and local governments in resettling refugees. There’s been a lot of talk this morning that state governments don’t have the authority to reject refugees from their jurisdiction. But as the law is written, it appears that the feds are supposed to be meeting with and addressing state and local concerns — not dismissing them as xenophobic or “feeding our dark impulses” as the president said yesterday.

{Lily Dane} ~ Another day, another scandal…Whistleblowing organization WikiLeaks has published classified transcripts and audio files that appear to reveal massive fraud with ties to the Bush and nObama administrations... In a Tweet on Monday, WikiLeaks said it has 30 hours of audio recordings related to a billion-dollar corruption scandal “with links to the White House.” The recordings appear to provide evidence of fraud within the administrations of George W. Bush and Barack nObama, with appointees to both presidents allegedly misappropriating funds in a government program called AbilityOne.

In fact, she was fervent in her support for the war, delivering impassioned speeches on the Senate floor in order to convince members of Congress who might have been on the fence, as well as the general American population and a handful of Democrats and liberals who valued her opinion on the topic, that war was the right choice. Indeed, Hilly’s speech promoting war in Iraq rivaled only George W. Bush who was campaigning night and day on American television.

In what seems to be an obvious coordinated effort between Hussein nObama and Hollande to advocate for the continuance of the invasion regardless of the human cost, Hollande made the same weak, untrue arguments that nObama has made to justify endangering the French people. Despite evidence to the contrary, Hollande stated the “refugee” invaders “would be checked thoroughly to make sure they do not pose a threat.”

‘Iranian Bloodbath in Syria’ Causing Strain in Tehran
{Adam Kredo} ~ At least 53 highly trained Iranian fighters have been killed in Syria as of mid-November, causing political strain in the Iranian government... which has sought to downplay and hide these deaths from public view, according to disclosures from an Israeli security organization. Iranian members of the country’s Revolutionary Guard Corps have shifted in recent months from serving in an advisory role to becoming full-fledged fighters alongside forces backing embattled President Bashar al-Assad in Syria. At least 2,000 Iranian fighters are now believed to be operating in the country. This had led to a “sharp increase in the number of Iranian dead” and suggests that the Islamic Republic has moved to the “front line” of the pro-Assad ground offensive, according to information published by the the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, an Israeli think-tank and intelligence organization.

Agents also arrested two smugglers accompanying the group. As a standard procedure, agents processed the six individuals and checked their identities against numerous law enforcement and national security related databases. Records checks revealed no derogatory information about the individuals. The individuals are currently in federal custody.” In other news: reports say 8 Syrians caught crossing U.S. from Mexican border Monday; 5 Syrians with stolen Greek passports caught in Honduras; DC Metro issues BOLO (Be On The Lookout) for bearded men behaving suspiciously on metro last weekend. No public indication any of those apprehended were connected to terrorist groups.
