Levin: Media Started Hurricane
Aftermath Issue and The They Attack Trump
{ rickwells.us } ~ Mark Levin called out the “shameless” media whom he said “started” the issue about the hurricane Maria aftermath... and suggested the media did so just so they could “attack” President Trump. “And you can watch cable TV as I speak, and it’s all about Donald Trump,” stated Mark Levin. “‘Donald Trump said 3,000 people didn’t die. Donald Trump said this. Donald Trump said that.’ And I think to myself, ‘How did all of this start? Did Donald Trump just send a tweet out there about Puerto Rico?’ No, that’s not how it all started. The media started it. The media starts these issues. The president responds to them because he’s not going to be George W. Bush in Katrina, and then they attack him.” Levin remarks came as the “shameless” media, as he calls them, were attacking President Donald Trump for his handling of Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. NewsBusters.org posted several stories pointing to the media’s bias leading up to Hurricane Florence’s strike on the east coast. President Trump responded to media criticism in a couple of tweets, suggesting first that “3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico” and then suggesting that the 3,000 death toll statistic “was done by the dummycrats-Democrats in order to make me look as bad as possible when I was successfully raising Billions of Dollars to help rebuild Puerto Rico.”...  https://rickwells.us/levin-media-hurricane-attack-trump/

Intel Chair: FBI, Justice Corrupted for Political Spying
by Bill Gertz
{ freebeacon.com } ~ dummycrats-Democrats and their media allies seeking to advance a liberal political agenda corrupted the FBI and Justice Department in improperly spying on Donald Trump's presidential campaign... the chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence said this week. Rep. Devin Nunes (R., Calif.), the intelligence panel head who has spearheaded an investigation into corruption at the FBI, also warned in a speech that China has emerged as the most serious strategic threat facing the United States. Nunes said President Trump is close to declassifying new information he believes will show the FBI and Justice Department misused their counterintelligence power to spy on the Trump campaign during the 2016 election. The House committee, as part of a probe into Russian collision, uncovered corruption involving the misuse of a dummycrats- Democrat-funded, anti-Trump dossier produced by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele...

lowlife-Kamala Harris Earns Title as Most Dishonest Senator
{ saraacarter.com } ~ Last week during Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearing, Senator lowlife-Kamala Harris completely made up stories in order to create television drama and disparage the nominee... Her outright lies began on September 7th, when lowlife-Harris’s office put out a series of tweets. lowlife-Kamala Harris claims Judge Kavanaugh is “going after birth control,” which is a complete fabrication. Her tweets are specifically designed to mislead voters on Kavanaugh’s character by specifically taking his words out of context, in order to drive her narrative. When Kavanaugh said those words, he was referring to a case in which the plaintiff held that philosophy and was not Kavanaugh’s thoughts on contraception. Even worse, last week lowlife-Harris had an ambiguous exchange with Kavanugh during his confirmation hearing where she asked if he “had any conversation about special counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller or his investigation with anyone employed by the law firm founded by President Trump’s personal attorney.” Kavanaugh seemed very confused by the question and couldn’t recall ever meeting with anyone from that law firm or discussing the dirty cop-Mueller probe. Watch the line of questioning. lowlife-Harris insisted that she had evidence of a conversation he had with the law firm. It turns out that she had no evidence but still claimed a major ethical breach took place by a sitting appellate court judge...  https://saraacarter.com/kamala-harris-earns-title-as-most-dishonest...

Iran’s Top Terror Airline Hit With New Sanctions
by Adam Kredo
{ freebeacon.com } ~ The Trump administration on Friday sanctioned a Thai company found to be aiding an Iranian airline that is transporting terrorists and other aid to Syria on behalf of embattled President Bashar al-Assad... Sanctions have been placed on Thailand's My Aviation Company Limited for aiding Iran's Mahan Air carrier, a state-controlled entity that has been caught sending militants and cargo to Syria on a routine basis, according to the Treasury Department. The latest sanctions come amid a larger crackdown by the Trump administration on Iran's global terror and financial networks, actions that have crippled the Islamic Republic's economy and sparked popular protests against the ruling regime. Iran's Mahan Air has been a source of controversy for some time, with Congress repeatedly calling on the Trump administration to crack down on the air carrier for using commercial flights as a cover to transport militants and weapons to Syria...  https://freebeacon.com/national-security/irans-top-terror-airline-h...

Fein-stein’s Desperate Ploy Continues To Fall Apart
by Jeff Dunetz
{ lidblog.com } ~ The dummycrats-Democrats are getting so desperate that even the far left and almost dead Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is disgusted with their tactics... While discussing the modern Supreme Court confirmation process, Ginsburg called the hearings a “highly partisan show” and “wrong” while speaking at the George Washington University Law School. Judge Brett Kavanaugh is more than qualified to sit on The Supreme Court, but the dummycrats-Democrats are so frustrated by this little fact, they are exploding. They tried biased editing of his statements, a Spartacus imitation, stolen valor senator Blumenthal ironically calling him a “Soldier For Trump” and much, much, more. Yesterday, Dianne. Fein-stein (D-CA) tried a last-minute ploy to scuttle the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh that failed so miserably it ended up making herself look like the court jester. She said she got a last minute letter accusing Kavanaugh of sexually harassing a woman in High School. Kavanaugh didn’t beat around the bush he strongly denied Feinstein’s charge leaving no wiggle room “I categorically and unequivocally deny this allegation. I did not do this back in high school or at any time,” Kavanaugh, 53, said in a statement...

American Demographics Are Changing Big Time

by Michael Swartz:  We’re closing in on two years since the election of Donald Trump on a get-tough, America-first platform regarding immigration and trade. His populist approach attracted millions of votes from people in states forgotten by Beltway bureaucrats; voters who felt threatened by what they saw as a rapidly increasing immigrant population unwilling to assimilate. Building a border wall was a winning issue with those voters.

So imagine the surprise when The New York Times  trumpets a story claiming, while America is at its most ethnic point in over 100 years — with a foreign-born population of more than 44 million people, or 13.7% of the population — it’s because immigration from Asia has surged past the immigrant flow from Latin America.
Yet the Brookings Institution, which conducted the study, conceded, “While people from Asia make up the largest share of recent newcomers, a majority of the country’s total foreign-born population is still from Latin America — 50 percent, compared to 31 percent from Asia.” It’s worth pointing out that the sluggish economy under the previous administration — which covers the period from 2010 onward — led to a surge of self-deportation as immigrants couldn’t find jobs Americans wouldn’t do, resulting in a net outflow of people back to Mexico. Decreased demand for low-skilled workers coupled with increased demand for college-educated workers turned the numbers in the Asians’ favor. Oftentimes these new immigrants are the people you’ll find dispensing prescriptions, designing bridges, or becoming family physicians.
So immigration isn’t as bad as the White House makes it out to be, right? Only if there’s an important midterm election to be won.
Meanwhile, for the Trump administration, cracking down on illegal immigration has proven to be more difficult than bargained for. Mexicans still cross the border illegally, and the Washington Examiner reports that 98% of illegal immigrants apprehended after entering the country in FY2017 (covering the first eight months of Trump’s term) are still here despite having been detained. The Examiner notes, “Families apprehended and then released are typically given ankle monitors so Department of Homeland Security officials can ensure they show for immigration court dates in the future. The large majority of families apply for asylum after illegally entering the country.”
Frustration is evident from the White House on down. “Because of restrictive judicial orders and catch-and-release loopholes that leave us with no recourse for removal,” said DHS spokeswoman Katie Waldman, “we are seeing a record number of family units apprehended at the southwest border. Secretary [Kirstjen] Nielsen has been urging Congress to act and close these loopholes that pull family units to the United States.”
To that end, the administration has been trying to redirect funds to enforcement: dummycrats-Democrats naturally criticized a $10 million transfer earlier this summer from FEMA’s budget, the news breaking just as Hurricane Florence bore down on the East Coast. They may have forgotten that better border enforcement is what voters wanted in 2016, so Trump is delivering as he can, and this money is not being diverted from disaster relief.
Immigration isn’t just an issue here, though. Take the oft-cited socialist paradise of Sweden for example: Last weekend a significant 18% of voters chose the Sweden Democrat Party, which has been uncharitably described as “a marginal party with obnoxious fascist roots.” Yet as writer M. Hudson observed, “What do people care about more than their economic security? Their physical security. A perception that ‘mayhem’ is growing fosters a quest for a political power willing to acknowledge the mayhem and fight it. The liberal Swedish Social Democrats were not prepared to do either.” But a “Sweden-first” party was waiting in the wings to address those voters.
Back in April 2017, our own Brian Mark Weber made a similar point in the wake of that spring’s French elections, where hardline nativist Marine Le Pen and her National Front party surprisingly advanced to the final runoff before losing. One example of Le Pen’s stance: “Mass immigration is not an opportunity for France; it’s a tragedy for France.” Politically incorrect? Certainly. But it was a message that resonated with a considerable (and, shall we say, “deplorable”) segment of the French people.
That’s not to say, though, that nationalist parties vowing to crack down on immigration are necessarily conservative or pro-Liberty. Europe is rife with center- or even far-left parties with that one platform plank in common with American conservatives — parties which would otherwise have nothing to do with limited government. And even here in the U.S., those who most fervently back Donald Trump often fall into a strata of occasional voters who were activated by Trump’s tough talk on immigration and his hands-off approach to entitlement reform. Instead, they cheered the prospect of budget cuts from targets favored by those in “flyover country,” such as PBS, the EPA, and ObamaCare, rather than a serious approach to reducing government by considering the legitimacy of all of its functions. And as long as the economy keeps humming along, these folks aren’t too worried about Uncle Sam’s take.
However, a booming economy may be a border hawk’s nightmare in one respect: As jobs become more plentiful, there’s more of an attraction for people to overstay their visas or simply work their way across a porous southern border without a wall.
In less than two months, voters will decide whether to reward Republicans with continued control of the House and Senate. But the constant drumbeat of dummycrats-Democrat and media criticism for the Trump administration, particularly on his misunderstood stance on so-called “Dreamers,” is threatening to erode support from the political center. The president must hope that his most ardent supporters still believe he can deliver on immigration.

SICK: Leprosy On The Rise In Los Angeles

Ahh, the joys of open borders and Democrat leadership.

California is not just a public toilet but now there is evidence that leprosy is on the rise in Los Angeles County.

Barack Obama changed US law in 2016 and allowed immigrants with blistering STDs and leprosy to migrate to the US.

Medscape reported:

Leprosy, also known as Hansen’s disease, is rarely seen in the United States, but cases continue to emerge in Los Angeles County, a new report says.

“Hansen’s disease still exists, and we need to educate medical students and physicians,” coauthor Dr. Maria Teresa Ochoa from Keck Medical Center of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, told Reuters Health by email.

Dr. Ochoa and colleagues identified 187 patients with the disease in a review of medical records from their leprosy clinic spanning 1973 to 2018. Most patients were Latino, originating from Mexico, and they experienced a median delay in diagnosis of more than three years, the team reports JAMA Dermatology, online August 7.

Multibacillary leprosy (MB) cases outnumbered paucibacillary leprosy (PB) cases by nearly eight to one (88.6% vs. 11.4%, respectively), and Latino patients were more likely than non-Latino patients to have MB, as were patients from Central or South America (versus other regions).

Most patients (80.7%) received multidrug therapy, and most (92.6%) received antibiotics for more than two years, especially if they had MB.

Only about half of patients (56.7%) had World Health Organization (WHO) grade 0 disability (no signs or symptoms suggestive of leprosy or disability) at the one-year follow-up, whereas 16.0% had grade 1 disability (loss of protective sensation) and 26.2% had grade 2 disability (visible deformity) at the last follow-up.

Among the patients who lost protective sensation, 87.7% (50/57) did not regain it following therapy.
