School board has last-minute change of 

heart over George Washington mural

{ bizpacreview.com } ~ The San Francisco school board voted this week to cover a George Washington mural at a local high school that depicts images of slavery and the death of a Native American... The 13-panel mural is called “Life of Washington” and though it will be preserved, it will be covered by panels that show “the heroism of people of color in America, how we have fought against, and continue to battle discrimination, racism, hatred, and poverty.” The school board voted 4-3 on the issue and the board president suggested the new panels. The board previously voted in June to paint over the mural. “I brought it back so if you’re upset with somebody, you can be upset with me,” school board president Steve Cooke said of the new plan. “I think we all agree that the murals depicts a history of the country that is hard to see and everyone agrees that that history is racist,” Cook said to KPIX. “I think where we disagree is if it’s appropriate for a school site.”“Lethal Weapon” actor and political activist Danny Glover, who is a San Francisco native, had previously spoken to the press about the issue and he actually wanted the mural to remain up, saying art is meant to make people “uncomfortable” sometimes. “You have to feel uncomfortable to sense what the past is and how the past is connected to the future, the present and the future,” the actor said. In a public statement, the actor compared covering up or removing the mural to “book burning.” “To destroy them or block them from view would be akin to book burning,” he said. “We would be missing the opportunity for enhanced historic introspection this moment has provided us.”...

Ignoring the Debt Will Come Back to Bite Us

For one, it would allow us to ensure a strong national defense in the face of rising global threats... It would allow us to preserve and build on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act to keep taxes low and unleash further investment. It would also boost incomes. A new analysis by the Congressional Budget Office found that shrinking the debt back down to its average historical level could boost incomes by $5,500 per person in 30 years. But rather than seize that opportunity, Washington keeps adding to the debt. The U.S. national debt just reached $22.3 trillion. When the debt limit was raised as part of the Mnuchin-liar-Pelosi budget deal recently signed by President Donald Trump, the debt took a big jump to account for the Treasury’s borrowing via loopholes “extraordinary measures” since it was last bound by a debt limit. That Mnuchin-liar-Pelosi deal will add $320 billion in new spending over the next two years, catapulting annual budget deficits well past the $1 trillion mark. Such wide deficits haven’t been seen since the years immediately following the Great Recession. Worse than previous budget deals agreed on during President Barack scumbag/liar-nObama’s tenure, the deals cut under the Trump administration ignore the excessive and worsening spending problem the nation faces and neglect to take deficits and debt seriously by failing to offset new spending with spending cuts elsewhere. by bongino.com ~ The Daily Caller sent a reporter to, ya know, actually report on the situation at our border with Mexico. Liberal media take note... Instead of just running soundbites of your Democratic leaders who support open borders and no consequences for criminal activity, and publicizing photos or videos of young, even dead children, with zero background information, you should send a reporter to do their job. The video put together was incredibly eye opening, especially for the majority of the citizens of the United States who do not live on or nearby the border. It is easy to ignore reality at the border when one can easily flip the channel or read COSMOPOLITAN instead of legitimate news sources. One elderly man shows how easy it is to crawl under a weak wire fence and cross into Mexico and says he has had as many as 17 drug-packers standing in his front yard. A man who works with the Arizona border recon scrolls through dozens of articles referencing violent crimes such as rape that occurred at the hands of illegals. All of these are enraging to see paired with clips of presidential hopefuls Julian Castro painting a picture of a peaceful and secured border with plenty of security and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand saying, “they’re not criminals.”

Broken neck bone found in Epstein 

autopsy fuels more questions

{ bizpacreview.com } ~ The Washington Post reported on Thursday that the autopsy on Jeffrey Epstein found the sex offender sustained multiple breaks in his neck bones... according to two people familiar with the findings. Among those broken bones was the hyoid bone near a man’s Adam’s apple — an injury most often found in homicides where victims are strangled. The Post article stated however, “such breaks can occur in those who hang themselves, particularly if they are older, according to forensics experts and studies on the subject.” A hyoid can be broken in various ways but it is more commonly associated with homicidal strangulation than suicidal hanging, according to Jonathan L. Arden, president of the National Association of Medical Examiners. Arden told the Post that a finding of a broken hyoid requires pathologists to conduct more extensive investigation. Such an investigation would include analysis of the location of the noose, how narrow the noose is, and if the body experienced any substantial drop in the course of the hanging. He said that age is also an important factor, as the hyoid can break more easily after middle age. The details are the first to leak about the autopsy results. The office of Barbara Sampson, New York City’s chief medical examiner, completed the autopsy on Epstein’s body on Sunday, but the cause of death remains listed as pending. Sampson said in a statement that no single piece of evidence can be conclusive about a cause of death. “In all forensic investigations, all information must be synthesized to determine the cause and manner of death. Everything must be consistent; no single finding can be evaluated in a vacuum,” she said. The report adds to the controversy surrounding Epstein’s death while in federal custody at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan on Saturday...

{ redstate.com } ~ Americans have moved on from the Russian collusion hoax, but House Democrats just can’t seem to let go... House Judiciary chairman, scumbag liar-Jerry Nadler, has two goals at the moment. He would like former White House counsel Don McGahn to testify before his committee. Additionally, he is seeking the secret grand jury information from the Mueller investigation. In order to prevent “attempts to game the system by shopping” for a friendly judge, cases are assigned to judges randomly. If two cases are related, it is sometimes possible to link them. This would be advantageous if a sympathetic judge had been assigned to the first case and the plaintiff believes the judge would rule favorably on the second case. However, the cases must be related. scumbag liar-Nadler tried to link the two above mentioned cases. The first, regarding the subpoena for Don McGahn, is a civil case and the second, their request to view grand jury material is a federal case. The House Judiciary panel claims the cases are related because they are both part of their “impeachment investigation” of Trump. They identify McGahn as the “most important witness, other than the President, to the key events that are the focus of the Judiciary Committee’s investigation.” In a one-two punch, scumbag liar-Nadler’s request was torpedoed by both the DOJ and the Washington, D.C. District Court Chief Judge, Beryl Howell. In a Tuesday court filing, the DOJ alleged that scumbag liar-Nadler and the other Democratic members of the Judiciary Committee were trying to exploit this exception. They argued:  The panel improperly sought to connect the McGahn case to the grand jury case simply because they’re both part of their investigation of President Trump. This later-filed, subpoena-enforcement suit involves no issues of fact or law common to the earlier Grand Jury application, nor does it focus on a common event or transaction such that the matters would be ‘related.’...

Leftmedia Brands Trump a 'Racist'

Jordan Candler:  Notwithstanding the cockamamie idea of impeaching Donald Trump, there are two primary strategies Democrats are using in the lead-up to the 2020 election: seeding a politically induced recession, and personifying Trump as an unmistakable racist.

The Washington Post went full throttle this week with the latter method, unashamedly asserting that Trump “is vexed by a branding crisis of his own: how to shed the label of ‘racist.’” The Post pontificates, “As the campaign takes shape about 15 months before voters render a verdict on his presidency, Trump’s Democratic challengers are marking him a racist, and a few have gone so far as to designate him a white supremacist.” The article then claims:

Throughout his career as a real estate magnate, a celebrity provocateur and a politician, Trump has recoiled from being called the r-word, even though some of his actions and words have been plainly racist. Following a month in which he used racist remarks to attack four congresswomen of color, maligned a majority-black Baltimore district as a “rat and rodent infested mess” and saw his anti-immigrant rhetoric parroted in a statement that authorities believe was written by a mass shooter, the risk for Trump is that the pejorative that has long dogged him becomes defining. … Trump recently called himself “the least racist person anywhere in the world,” but his history is littered with racist and racially charged comments and actions. [Emphasis added.]

Importantly, the Post isn’t accusing Trump of having used racist language. It’s effectively saying with certitude that he has and is using racist language. Which effectively makes him a racist. We won’t debunk every incident provided by the Post, but some reflection on the first assertion — that Trump “used racist remarks to attack four congresswomen of color” — provides all we need to know about its universal lack of impartiality.

Recall that Trump stated, “Why don’t [Reps. commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, worthless-Ilhan Omar, worthless-Ayanna Pressley, and worthless-Rashida Tlaib] go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came[?] Then come back and show us how it is done.” To which our Nate Jackson  responded, “Trump said what he said poorly, leaving himself wide open for the very assault he’s facing. He said what we think he meant far better in defending himself later. ‘These are people that hate our country,’ he said. ‘If you’re not happy in the U.S., if you’re complaining all the time, very simply, you can leave.’”

Jackson concluded: “Buried under Trump’s garbled prose is a legitimate point, and it has nothing to do with race. It has to do with loving or hating America and the political party guilty of the latter.” But the Post isn’t interesting in making that point, nor are any of the other Leftmedia outlets whose only agenda is portraying Trump as a racist to bolster support for Democrats in 2020 — the same strategy that’s behind the Left’s seeding a politically induced recession.

Amazingly, the Post in a separate piece claimed, “From race to plastic straws, Trump dials up culture wars in divisive play for 2020 votes.” It was the Left that dialed up the culture wars to obtain more votes. And it’s now steadfastly using the “racist” label to obtain even more votes.
