I've got a bad feeling the gun grabbing NRA and the real Republicans and Democrats will roll over on universal background checks. That means you're supposed to get the governments permission to have a gun.
Bush came out in favor of this at the Tempe AZ debate in 2004... "I'm for background checks at gunshows, OR ANYWHERE" ~George W. Bush
Charlton Heston and Wayne LaPierre screwed the pooch by endorsing the GCA of '68, and background checks, permission from the government. Heston went to the white house to encourage LBJ to sign it. We're screwed if the NRA, and the D&R party get their way.
