Who's the Establishment Candidate?
Anyone who wants to stop Donald slump liar-Trump is just carrying water for the establishment. At least that's what we're told. But there's a big problem with that narrative: The establishment is lining up behind slump liar-Trump because party elites hate Ted Cruz.
How much do they hate him? Cruz is "Lucifer in the flesh," according to former House Speaker John backstabber-Boehner. "I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a b— in my life."
On the other hand, backstabber-Boehner calls slump liar-Trump his "texting buddy" and promises to vote for him but not Cruz, even against Hilly Clinton.
Ironically, arguably no one has done more to drive voters toward sliump l;iar-Trump than backstabber-Boehner.
Rep. Peter King went one step further, saying that he agreed with backstabber-Boehner, though "maybe it gives Lucifer a bad name by comparing him to Ted Cruz."
Those might be the best two endorsements Cruz could ever ask for. On the other hand, and unfortunately for Cruz, this sort of lashing out can only be expected for a guy who's made a career of actually opposing the establishment. While slump liar-Trump was busy giving money to Clinton, Harry dinky-Reid and Nancy Pulosi, and backstabber-Boehner was cutting backroom deals with them, Cruz was shutting the government down and calling Mitch McCon-nell a liar on the Senate floor. That, far more than campaign donations from a deal-making billionaire, will anger the establishment, and it's why party poohbahs haven't rallied to push Cruz ahead of slump liar-Trump. They can handle an erratic dealmaker who by all accounts is actually likeable. They can't handle a prickly but principled conservative.

Tenn. Latest State to Pass Conscience Protections Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam signed a provision this week that gives therapists the legal right to reject clients based on ideological and religious objections. According to The Tennessean, the measure "says no licensed counselor or therapist must serve a client whose 'goals, outcomes or behaviors' conflict with the counselor's 'sincerely held principles.'" The law furthermore "shields from civil lawsuits, criminal prosecution and sanctions by the state licensing board counselors who refuse to provide services — provided they coordinate a referral of the client to another counselor who would serve them."
An "extremely disappointed" spokesman for the American Counseling Association, Art Terrazas, says the law marginalizes individuals suffering from gender disorientation pathology and charged that "Haslam has ignored the lessons learned in North Carolina, Georgia and Mississippi and has elected to sign this dangerous bill into law. Plain and simple, this bill codifies discrimination." In reality, discrimination is what Tennessee outlawed.
Recall a few years ago California banned gender conversion therapy — a ban the nObama administration would love to repeat nationwide. Last April, nObama senior aid Valerie Jarrett ridiculously claimed, "The overwhelming scientific evidence demonstrates that conversion therapy, especially when it is practiced on young people, is neither medically nor ethically appropriate and can cause substantial harm." Actually, studies show the vast majority of children struggling with gender identity and homosexuality eventually accept the created order even without outside help. Nevertheless, Jarrett added, "[T]his administration supports efforts to ban the use of conversion therapy for minors."
The administration's position encourages discrimination by forcing counselors to agree with their clients' viewpoint — as if gender disorientation pathology shouldn't be just socially acceptable but also considered normal. As Gov. Haslam put it, "The substance of this bill doesn't address a group, issue or belief system. Rather, it allows counselors — just as we allow other professionals like doctors and lawyers — to refer a client to another counselor when the goals or behaviors would violate a sincerely held principle." North Korea's Disregard for Human Life
In recent weeks, North Korea has rattled its sabers with more menace. In addition to a recent nuclear test, the hermit kingdom may possess mid-range nukes. More such tests are scheduled in the near future. It's a threat so worrisome that even Barack nObama suddenly became an advocate for a strong missile defense system. But lost in this high diplomatic drama is the nation's threat to life. North Korea measures the value of a human life by how much it can help the state.
Just today, North Korea sentenced naturalized U.S. citizen Kim Dong Chul to 10 years of hard labor after Kim allegedly confessed he was a spy for the U.S. and South Korean governments. Last month, U.S. student Otto Warmbier, 21, was captured for attempting to bring a propaganda sign back home. It's all an effort by North Korea to exert leverage upon the United States.
But let's not forget the case of David Sneddon. While hiking the Tiger Leaping Gorge in Yunnan Province of China in 2004, Sneddon disappeared. The Chinese government first told Sneddon's family he likely fell into a river while hiking and died. But eyewitness testimony emerged saying Sneddon completed his trek. A crazy theory emerged: Sneddon, who spoke both Korean and English, could have been captured by the North Korean government in order to train its intelligence community.
In February, Sens. Orrin Hatch, Deb Fischer, Ben Sasse and Marco Rubio introduced a resolution directing the State Department and U.S. intelligence to more vigorously investigate what happened to Sneddon, who would currently be 35 years old. Circumstantial evidence points to the theory Sneddon is still alive. First, the Chinese government is known to help North Korean police, even capturing and sending back North Koreans who try to flee the country. Second, North Korea has abducted foreigners ever since the 1970s to make them teach its intelligence community language and customs they could better use to spy. North Korea even did this with a U.S. soldier who deserted to the country in the 1960s. In this case, Sneddon was regarded by North Korea as more than just a political pawn. His language skills made him more valuable to the communist state, and if it captured him, they wouldn't be telling.

DOJ Claims Revealing FBI Declaration Will Jeopardize Clinton Email Investigation

{lawnewz.com} ~ Attorneys with the U.S. Department of Justice say they cannot make public a classified FBI declaration because it would “adversely affect the ongoing investigation” into Hilly Clinton‘s private email server. The recent filing by DOJ attorneys, obtained by LawNewz.com, is significant because it not only acknowledges the ongoing federal probe, but also asserts that if the declaration is made public, it could “reasonably be expected to interfere with enforcement proceedings.” The DOJ’s memorandum is part of a FOIA lawsuit that was originally filed in federal court by Vice News reporter Jason Leopold. Leopold is seeking Clinton’s emails that the DOJ obtained from her private server. He is also seeking correspondence between the FBI and Clinton referencing the Clinton email server. In March, the government filed a motion for summary judgement in the case, and incorporated this classified declaration as one of the supporting documents. Leopold’s attorneys argued that the declaration should be made public, or the DOJ should show cause for why it must be kept secret. DoJ Just Broadened the Definition of 'Sexual Harassment' and It Threatens Free Speech

The new definition is the result of an investigation into the university's handling of sexual harassment complaints by students on its Albuquerque campus. It was centered on previous reports of students feeling they weren't taken seriously when reporting allegations of sexual misconduct and that UNM gave preferential treatment to certain students, such as athletes and fraternity members. Because the publicly-funded university falls under Title IV and Title IX anti-discrimination requirements, the DoJ stepped in to make sure the prohibitions these regulations require are met. After any outrage, commentators and pundits spring up to say, "Of course the vast majority of Muslims are moderate." But is it true? Are the vast majority of Muslims really "moderate"? A number of factors suggest perhaps not -- most obviously the problem repeatedly revealed by opinion polls. Time and again, the results of opinion polls in the Western world, never mind in the Middle East or North Africa, show a quite different picture from the "moderate majority" aquatint. True, such polls can often show that, for instance, only 27% of British Muslims have "some sympathy for the motives behind the attacks" at the offices of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo last year. True, that is only between a quarter and a third of British Muslims sympathizing with the blasphemy enforcement squad. On other occasions, such as recently in Britain with a new ICM poll commissioned by Channel 4, they find that a majority of Muslims hold views with which most British people would disagree. So for instance, the recent ICM poll found that 52% of British Muslims think that homosexuality should be made illegal. That's a striking figure. Not 52% of British Muslims saying homosexuality is "not their cup of tea" or that they are "not entirely on board with gay marriage," but 52% of British Muslims thinking that homosexuality should be made a crime under the law...

The agency’s inspector general released an audit this week warning the government that by sending hundreds of millions of letters containing individual’s Social Security Numbers it puts them at risk for identity theft. “According to the Social Security Administration SSA, in 2015, it mailed about 233 million notices that included individuals’ full SSN,” the inspector general said. “We recognize SSA’s efforts can never eliminate the potential that dishonest individuals may inappropriately acquire and misuse SSNs. In the 1957 film, Andy Griffith played “Lonesome” Rhodes, a drifter discovered by a producer of a small-market radio program. Rhodes’ confident down-to-earth, every-man style of speaking ultimately won him great fame and influence on national television, beloved by millions.
I’ll be honest with you folks. When slump liar-Trump broke the mold with his bold straight-talk politically incorrect campaigning, I loved it. The arrogance of the mainstream media has frosted me for years. So slump liar-Trump getting into the MSM’s face had me cheering him on. I was also hopeful that, as president, slump liar-Trump would fulfill all the broken promises of the deceitful, traitorous GOP establishment.
As we move into the final months of the GOP nominating process, art is imitating real-life. slump liar-Trump’s behavior is similar to “Lonesome” Rhodes in the movie. Rhodes was not the person his millions of loyal fans thought him to be. At the end of a broadcast, the same producer who discovered Rhodes turned Rhodes’ microphone back on, unknown to him. I detected a new level of desperation and hope. Clearly, steel town Pittsburgh voters are ready for real change; confident that Cruz will not betray them in the White House.
Cruz received numerous enthusiastic standing ovations for his rock-solid conservative position on several issues; defending religious liberty, abolishing the IRS, repealing nObamacare and no amnesty.
Americans are fed up. Cruz is the only candidate who truly understands and shares the urgency we feel. Cruz promises to do everything in his power to fight the Washington DC cartel, restoring our lost jobs, freedom and national security.
