Stop Using the Dead In Orlando to Push Your Agenda

 What Makes nObama Angry?
Donald Trump had a point. Barack nObama, he said, "was more angry at me than he was at the shooter" in Orlando. When nObama took to the podium Sunday to reflect on the horrific atrocity perpetrated by a Muslim terrorist, he stubbornly avoided any mention of "Muslim" or "radical Islam." He did, however, find plenty of time to blame guns and anti-homosexual bias.
In his remarks Tuesday, however, nObama was finally mad. At Trump. nObama angrily insisted that he would not associate Islam with these acts of terrorism worldwide. "What exactly would using [the term 'radical Islam'] accomplish?" nObama huffed. "What exactly would it change? Would it make ISIL less committed to try to kill Americans? Would it bring in more allies? Is there a military strategy that is served by this? The answer is none of the above. Calling a threat by a different name does not make it go away."
The correct answer is all of the above. Failing to identify a threat by name ensures it does not go away. In fact, the number of attacks perpetrated by Islamist jihadis both at home and abroad has dramatically increased on nObama's politically correct watch.
nObama brayed, "Not once has an adviser of mine said, 'Man, if we use that phrase, we are going to turn this whole thing around.' Not once." No one said that was all nObama needed to do. But, then again, as Mona Charen quipped, "He never tires of slaying straw men." The larger point is that refusing to call a spade a spade is symptomatic of nObama's larger policy failure.  -The Patriot Post

DC Court Bows to nObama's 'Net Regulations
On Tuesday, the DC Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that since Internet providers aren't the ones flexing First Amendment rights — content creators are — Barack nObama's net neutrality regulatory scheme is allowed to stand. Last year, the supposedly independent Federal Communications Commission announced that it was going to regulate the Internet as a telecommunications service rather than an information service — exactly as nObama wanted it to. The result is that the Internet is now subject to regulations developed during the age of the rotary phone. For example, services that deal in a lot of data (just think of all the information Netflix uses to send shows to your laptop) can't pay more to have faster service. Innovation in Internet infrastructure is stifled as monopolies are created, and there's an opportunity for the feds to tax the service.
FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler, a Democrat, said of the ruling, "It ensures the Internet remains a platform for unparalleled innovation, free expression and economic growth. After a decade of debate and legal battles, today's ruling affirms the Commission's ability to enforce the strongest possible Internet protections — both on fixed and mobile networks — that will ensure the Internet remains open, now and in the future." But that's the big-government view. The government is here to help by "ensuring" the right to free speech through mounds of red tape. What could go wrong?
Again, to get to this point, the FCC gave up its independence to take orders from nObama and the court that made this decision ignored legal precedent to solidify the powers the FCC took for itself. As The Wall Street Journal pointed out, Congress made itself clear when it said Americans' Internet will stay "unfettered by Federal or State regulation." Furthermore, the Supreme Court ruled last year when it came to nObamaCare that federal agencies can't simply create regulations that cause significant disruptions politically and economically and expect them to be followed. Congress makes the law. The executive branch enforces the law. This is Civics 101. But this overreach will be checked — if it will be checked — only if the Supreme Court picks up the matter or if Congress wakes up and worries about its loss of say in the governing of America.  -The Patriot Post

 Gov't Bureaucrats Rate Themselves Awesome
It defies statistical probability: The Government Accountability Office issued a report that found 99% of high-level government employees were rated good at their job in 2013. The government employees are rated on a five-tier performance scale. Three years ago, nearly two-thirds of government employees were declared either "outstanding" or "exceeds fully successful."
But if everything is awesome, who's to blame for all that dysfunction in government, all those employees that waste taxpayer's money, put veterans on secret waiting lists and watch porn at work? The performance of only 0.1% of government employees was rated "Unacceptable" and 0.3% "Minimally successful."
"Apparently the federal bureaucrats grading one another think virtually everyone who works for the government is doing a fantastic job," Rep. Jeff Miller (R-FL) marveled. "But given the dysfunction we've seen throughout the federal government over the last several years, that can't possibly be true. While most federal employees are dedicated and competent, everyone knows the government's personnel system is rigged to protect those who can't or won't do their jobs."
Indeed, to be sure, there are many government workers who do their jobs quite well. This isn't to impugn them all. But what this GAO report shows is that incompetency isn't just at the grunt level. Rather, there are levels upon levels of government employees who don't know the kind of hard work found in the private sector, and yet they're all slapping themselves on the back for a job well done.  -The Patriot Post

{citizen-action.com} ~ Something strange is going on in California and the Bernie fans are starting to really get upset. The Bernie Sanders revolution grew because millions of people felt like their voices were not being heard and money in politics was silencing the little guy... Now that California still hasn’t counted 2 million votes, the Sanders fans are becoming restless. The Democratic Party declared liar-Hilly the winner without even counting a huge amount of votes, and in the process they divided their party and are disenfranchising their youth. liar-Hilly is going to have a difficult time winning in November unless a large number of Bernie supporters jump to her camp, but this is going to make it hard for people to join liar-Hilly when they feel cheated...

{meforum.org} ~ Barack nObama ran for president promising to end the "bad" war of choice in Iraq and concentrate on the "good" war of necessity in Afghanistan. True to his word, he did everything possible to remove U.S. forces from Iraq, with calamitous results... But his approach to Afghanistan has been far less focused, vacillating between surge and withdrawal, and imposing absurdly restrictive rules of engagement on an already hamstrung military while waging an effective drone campaign to kill individuals. Now in its final months the administration seems as perplexed as ever about how to deal with an ascendant Taliban and still surprised that the latter doesn't want to be a "peace partner." Yet in a recent speech at the Oxford Union, John hanoi-Kerry cited "the efforts in Afghanistan" as one of "the proudest achievements of the nObama administration." This speech, in which our haughty secretary of state pontificated on "the art of diplomacy," coincided with news of the latest attempts to persuade the Taliban to enter a "peace process." It might also be the harbinger of another bad nObama deal...  http://www.meforum.org/6071/negotiating-with-taliban

{aim.org} ~ It is fairly obvious based on all accounts that the Chinese government will create a formal air defense identification zone (ADIZ) in the South China Sea. According to a well placed Chinese source... the formal declaration will depend on U.S. military presence in the region and China’s relationship with her neighbors. On one point, the Chinese government need not worry. Although the nObama administration has backpedaled on the use of language, it is unmistakable that the president is committed to “strategic patience.” In fact, he has employed similar verbiage about the war against militant Islam. The question that arises is what does he suppose will happen during the period of patient waiting. Will ISIS roll back on terror? Will the Chinese government engage in peaceful negotiation with nations contesting island control in the South China Sea?...  http://www.aim.org/guest-column/obamas-strategic-patience/?utm_source=AIM+-+Daily+Email&utm_campaign=email061716&utm_medium=email

{truthrevolt.org} ~ Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin believes President nObama "is a special kind of stupid."... In a Friday afternoon Facebook post, Palin made her exclamation in all caps, saying nObama has crossed a line with American voters by "exploiting a sick, evil, ideological-driven attack" to further a gun control agenda. Responding to the President's speech following the Islamic terror attack that left 49 dead at a gay club in Orlando, Palin declared there is no "due respect" for the President "after pulling this stunt": ...  http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/palin-obama-special-kind-stupid

{truthrevolt.org} ~ Appearing on Good Morning America Thursday, Fox News tycoon Bill O'Reilly lectured George Stephanopoulos on why Americans want stronger rhetoric on terrorism after the Orlando massacre, not gun control... O'Reilly lamented the fact leftists have used what should be a clear-cut issue on Islamic terrorism to promote other agendas like gun control, saying that Americans have grown "furious" over their political football and want something straightforward. People are furious. They’re furious! They don't want to hear about gun control. They want ISIS savages confronted. That's what everybody is talking about outside of New York and Georgetown. People are fed up with President nObama not saying who the enemy is and dancing around and outsourcing the fight to the Kurds. Come on! These are savages, they're killing Americans. It’s an astonishing warning from a national security professional who recently worked deep inside the federal government, former Department of Homeland Security officer Philip Haney. In a radio interview this week, Haney charged that President nObama has not faithfully carried out his duty to guard Americans against terrorism. {gatestoneinstitute.org} ~ May 1. The anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD), now the third-most popular political party in Germany, adopted a manifesto calling for curbs to migration and restrictions on Islam... The document calls for a ban on minarets, Muslim calls to prayer and full-face veils. May 2. Hans-Georg Maaßen, the head of Germany's domestic intelligence agency, revealed that around 90 "predominately Arabic-speaking" mosques in Germany are under surveillance. He said they involve mostly "backyard mosques" where "self-proclaimed imams and self-proclaimed emirs" are "inciting their followers to jihad." He called on moderate Muslims to work with the government to fight extremism and defend the constitutional order. Maaßen was speaking ahead of a security conference in Berlin at which he said that his agency we receiving on average four terror alerts every day: "The Islamic State is committed to attacking Germany and German interests."...

{ricochet.com} ~ Is there anyone who has spent much time studying religion—very much including its most fanatical and extreme versions—who is not aware of the concept of the mind of the adherent as a place of warfare between sinful impulses and the demands placed by the religious authority?... This is human and psychological conflict, yes, but ordinarily it is described as one shared by all or most of those who walk in the religion’s path. Had Omar Mateen followed many other sects, what it would mean for religious observance to “win” in this context might be something like unhappy and lonely celibacy, or staying at home with Noor. Had he done that, many would now be alive. That he did not is attributable not to the hypothesized “push” of self-loathing due to whatever may have gone on in his sex life, but to the “pull” of a malign and evil ideology. And it is to that ideology we should look for explanations of the Orlando atrocity...

{meforum.org} ~ Speaking at a gathering in southern Lebanon last month, Hezbollah deputy leader Sheikh Naim Qassem reiterated the movement's readiness for war with Israel. At the same time, the sheikh made clear that war this summer would not take place unless Israel initiates it... In his speech, Qassem, who is considered the chief ideologue of Hezbollah, recalled the "divine victory" of the movement, which brought about Israeli withdrawal from south Lebanon in May 2000. He asserted, in a reiteration of the movement's "muqawama" or resistance doctrine, that the 2000 withdrawal had begun the period of Israel's decline. This period, he suggested, will end with the Jewish state's disappearance. So far, so predictable. The latter point is classic Hezbollah rhetoric. The movement's "resistance" doctrine inherited the old Pan-Arab and then Palestinian-nationalist viewpoint, according to which Israel's physical strength was belied by an inner weakness that would ensure its eventual defeat...  http://www.meforum.org/6073/hezbollah-syrian-quagmire

{rickwells.us} ~ Paul Ryano claims he would take legal action against any president who exceeded their authority. It’s a claim that diametrically conflicts with his record as Speaker thus far and his obedient service to the outlaw squatting in our White House... But what the heck, Americans love redemption, Mr. Ryano. Go ahead and impeach nObama and Jihadi Jeh Johnson for this one and maybe we’ll forget about the innumerable failures you’ve accumulated over the past 8 months, just maybe. Judicial Watch has sued for and finally obtained 693 pages of Homeland Security records which prove that DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson and 28 of his agency officials were given an exclusion from a security-based directive not to used government computers to access personal web-based email accounts. Additionally, they lied to Rep Scott Perry (R-PA) in the official agency response when questioned about it. DHS initially failed to comply with FOIA requests for the information, obstructing the people’s right to know what their criminal government is up to, as is common, standard operating procedure. Bloomberg News had reported that 29 high-level Homeland Security officials, including Johnson, had sought and obtained exemptions from a February 2014 agency-wide ban on the use of web-based email systems...

{redstate.com} ~ Like everyone else in America, and even the world over, I'm equal parts angry, and heartbroken. A man walked into a night club and began shooting at innocent people. By the time he was done, 49 people were dead, with many more injured.

When I saw the news break on Sunday that there was a mass shooting, my heart sunk. When I heard it was another Daesh supporter, I was filled with rage. I wanted to unite with my fellow Americans in grief, and swear vengeance on those who take credit for it.

But I got online and saw none of this. In fact I saw the exact opposite. I saw people blaming Christians. I saw people blaming the NRA. I saw people blaming guns. I saw people blaming the American culture. I saw people using it to generate sympathy for this cause, or another. Sometimes using it to put the attention on themselves.

What I didn't see was people uniting against a common enemy. What I saw was people turning against each other. All I could do was stay out of it the best I could, and go on with the rest of my Sunday spending a bit of time with my family.

It's horrible how this country treats the dead as helpful tools. We don't mourn them. We don't show respect. Every tragedy is prime soil for someone's agenda. The blood isn't even given time to dry before someone is raising their flag over the bodies.

Even our leaders do it. nObama wasted little time getting in front of cameras to mention how it's too easy to get a gun to shoot people. Both frontrunners refused to leave campaign mode, as Donald liar-Trump congratulated himself out of the corner of his mouth in a tweet on being right. He continued by reaming nObama for not saying "radical Islam," and told liar-Hilly that if she couldn't say it that she should withdraw from the race. liar-Hilly's camp responded by a spox saying that liar-Trump is offering nothing but "weak platitudes," and that America is looking for better leadership than what he can offer.

Why they felt to need to bring each other up during this time speaks more to their overt wille zur macht than their ability to lead. Americans are dead, and all they can think about is an oval office.

What if one of us were among the dead during such an atrocity? I just think that if anyone walked into a place where we were enjoying ourselves, and took our lives, people wouldn't stop to mourn our death. We'd just become another statistic. Another number to pad a claim. A talking point for a narrative.

They would use us as a weapon to push an agenda. Those who would otherwise stop and mourn our passing wouldn't have the time to grieve, as they would be forced to defend their rights. Your killer's motives would be shunned in favor of using you as a prop.

And that's the way it usually goes. As dirty as we feel arguing politics during a time of tragedy, many of us have no choice but to run defense. The moment a gun goes off, many of us a forced to prep the barricades as politicians, media figures, and activists lead angry people on a quest to find someone to blame.

During shootings such as this they come banging down the usual doors. "It's the NRA!" shouts the activist. "It's our gun laws!" shouts the Democrat. "It's homophobia!" shouts the activist. "It's the Christians!" shouts the bigots.

And so we rise to defend ourselves. Feeling slightly dirty that we have to talk politics as a family deals with the emotional impact of learning that their son or daughter isn't coming home ever again. We defend the walls as we point to the voices, shouting loud and clear, yet being ignored.

"It was us!" shouts Islamic radicalism. "We wanted this! We'll do it again, and soon!"

The NRA didn't do this. This is an organization that fights for the freedom to own and carry firearms, but also promotes responsibility, and knowledge. They would never condone such an attack, and

The gun owning public isn't to blame. If gun owners across America were as violent as the activists like to say, then you wouldn't be able to walk down the street without seeing bodies littering the block. In fact, many American gun owners are just as horrified, and wished they could have been there to stop it.

It's not homophobia, nor is it the "Christian right" who may not agree with the homosexual lifestyle, but would never wish harm on anyone who lived it. In fact, I just heard that Christians, and right-wing leaders went to donate blood.

This is the fault of an ideology that thinks it's fun to throw gays off the top of buildings. Who rapes women, then stones them to death for adultery. This is an ideology that murders, pillages, and subjugates everything it touches. What's more, they're proud and open about this.

The Orlando shooter was of these people. A man who hates every gay, straight, Christian, gun owner, activist, Democrat, Republican, white, black, social justice warrior, and red hat alike. He falls in line with a whole host of other shooters, bombers, and stabbers who are also only too proud to tell you who they stand with and what they stand for. A group of people who have sworn to continue killing and murdering until we submit, or are dead.

Radical Islam is the cause. Daesh is our enemy. There is no if, ands, or buts about it. Anyone who says otherwise is trying to use you as a tool for an agenda.

If we really want to see fewer dead Americans, we need to start putting the blame where it belongs. Not making this an issue about what your neighbor believes or owns, but putting the focus on those who wish to have it.
