{ americanthinker.com } ~ In tacit recognition that his party will never beat the President in 2020 with the gang of whackos vying to head their ticket and that no real impeachment will ever occur... Congressman scumbag-Adam Schiff, with the acquiescence of Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi, called to order what they are calling an “impeachment inquiry.” It’s presumably designed to see whether formal impeachment proceedings should begin. Impeachment proceedings cannot take place without a vote to do so in the House. Vulnerable Democrats would never vote for it any more than would almost all Republican Congressmen. And conviction and removal from office for impeachment would have to occur after a full hearing and two-thirds vote in the Senate. Which also will not happen. The Democrats, again, are counting on the civics and Constitutional ignorance of their base. It flopped, in any event. The hearings, in fact, show that this is simply the rerun of the Russian Collusion scam. Only the name of the country has changed -- this time, it’s Ukraine; a country you may know is a major enemy of the Russians. As Daniel Greenfield persuasively argues, these investigations are attempts to delegitimize the President and his Administration, and I predict people are sick of this nonsense. I urge you to read this article in its entirety. Here’s but a sample. The impeachment push is the same discredited scam that the Democrats had pushed on the country at the cost of millions of dollars, years of legislative stalemate, ruined lives and fake news. It’s like getting a scam email from a Nigerian prince, turning him down, and then receiving another email from the same address, except he now claims to be a Zambian prince, but still wants you to cash the same check. [snip] In April, the Mueller report was released. And it was a big, giant nothing. Democrats tried to play it for all they could. At the end of May, Mueller officially called it quits. At the end of July, despairing House Dems dragged him in to testify. Mueller had more trouble remembering things than loose lips liar-Joe Biden. The vicious scam that had begun with the Steele Report was finally dead. Time for a new edition. The day after Mueller killed the Russia smear dead, President Trump spoke to President Volodymyr Zelensky of the Ukraine. And the Democrats immediately slotted it in as the new Steele Report. A few weeks into August, the complaint was filed. { americanthinker.com } ~ The Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah) is coming upon us and we listen to the shofar Ram’s horn or trumpet. In the Jewish tradition, if we do not listen to the shofar, the holiday has not been observed... The sounds of the shofar can be a battle cry, or a mournful cry. It is the sound of the presence of God, a call out to God when we need his intervention. There are three basic trumpet calls, one is called T’ruah. It consists of rapid short bursts to arouse from our slumbering souls that have grown complacent; to alert the Jewish people for the need to come together for battle or the need to assemble because of an urgent situation. This holiday is the anniversary of the creation of mankind and the renewal of our relationship with God. As Judge, God will allocate what will happen to us in the coming year. Perhaps this is the ideal time for the Jewish people face an ugly fact: The Democrat party, to whom Jews have been loyal since their arrival to America, is infested with Jew hatred and their support of Israel has eroded. The Jewish members of Congress are silent. They have failed to learn the lesson of the Holocaust which is this: It is the responsibility of every individual to not be silent in the face of hate but to confront it. In the past, Jews in Europe didn’t want to believe what they heard or saw until it was too late. I believe it is the same situation when it comes to the Democrat party. The election of Representative worthless-Ilhan Omar of Minnesota to Congress is a good example of Jews not wanting to ask the hard questions of a political candidate. After winning election, worthless-Omar changed her position. The Democrat party never called her out. worthless-Omar tweeted an anti-Semitic trope which accused Jews of buying influence and forcing America to support Israel -- “It’s all about the Benjamins” -- and accusing Jews of dual loyalty. On March 7, 2019, The House Democrats had an opportunity to pass a resolution condemning Jew hatred and naming worthless-Omar. State Department ramps up investigation into

{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ The Trump administration's State Department is intensifying its investigation into the email records of dozens of former department officials and aides to former Secretary of State scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton... As many as 130 officials have been recently contacted by investigators from the State Department, current and former officials told the Washington Post. According to the outlet, those targeted were contacted by the department about emails they sent years ago that have been retroactively classified and could now count as possible security violations. Investigators began communicating with former officials around 18 months ago, but they appeared to suspend the effort before ramping it back up in August. Although some who are under scrutiny view the recent activity as the Trump administration's decision to wield power against political adversaries, senior State Department officials said they are simply following standard protocol in an investigation that initially started during the scumbag/liar-nObama administration. “This has nothing to do with who is in the White House,” one official said. “This is about the time it took to go through millions of emails, which is about 3 and a half years.” “The process is set up in a manner to completely avoid any appearance of political bias,” another official added. Former scumbag/liar-nObama administration officials, however, told the Post that the investigation is an "aggressive crackdown" by an administration that has had its own problems with handling classified information. The list of State Department officials being questioned includes assistant secretaries of state responsible for U.S. policy in the Middle East, Europe, and Central Asia, as well as several ambassadors. It also includes many current and former bureaucrats who passed along important messages to scumbag/liar-Clinton from outside officials... .
Dems Vote To Enhance Health Care for Illegals Reject Vets Waiting 10 Years for Same Service

{ wethepeopledaily.com } ~ House Democrats voted Thursday to fast-track an electronic medical records system that would serve illegal immigrants, something America’s veterans have been seeking for years... The House passed the bill on a largely party line vote of 230-184, American Military News reported. Only two Republican congressmen supported the bill — Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania and Fred Upton of Michigan. The proposal has yet to be considered by the Republican-controlled Senate. The Democratic proposal would require the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Patrol to create an Electronic Health Records system. Part of that system’s job will be to provide information to Congress on the health of migrants who enter the country illegally, according to The Hill. The bill gives the DHS 90 days after the bill receives final approval to get the job done. In contrast, the Veterans Administration has been working for years to implement an EHR system for veterans. Democratic Rep. { thehill.com } ~ The House passed a joint resolution on Friday that would overturn President Trump’s emergency declaration at the southern border... which has allowed him to divert other government spending to his wall. The 236-174 vote drew support from 11 Republicans, but not enough to overturn an expected veto from the president. The measure is aimed at preventing the diversion of $3.6 billion for military construction projects toward the construction of Trump’s wall along the U.S.-Mexico border without congressional approval. Passage of the measure marks the second time Congress has approved legislation challenging Trump’s authority to invoke emergency powers to build his wall. The president vetoed an earlier resolution in March. Under the National Emergencies Act, Democratic lawmakers can force a vote to end the emergency declaration every six months. The new measure was approved by the Senate earlier this week in a 54-41 vote, with 11 Republicans joining Democrats in voting to block Trump. The president’s decision to declare a national emergency in February sparked sharp pushback from Democrats and a number of GOP defense hawks and constitutionalists. Nate Jackson: “Rep. scumbag-Adam Schiff acknowledged on Thursday that he made up parts of the Ukraine phone call transcript when he delivered his opening statement at a much-watched TV hearing with the U.S. top intelligence officer,” reports The Washington Times. That’s right; at a time when Democrats are pounding on the table for impeaching the president, and during a hearing grilling acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee is spouting utter fiction as justification.
scumbag-Schiff argued that the record of President Donald Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “reads like a classic organized-crime shakedown.” Actually, scumbag-Schiff’s characterization is more like B-movie acting. “Shorn of its rambling character and in not so many words, this is the essence of what the president communicates,” scumbag-Schiff said. He went on to parody the call while effectively insinuating that he was quoting Trump from the transcript: “We’ve been very good to your country, very good. No other country has done as much as we have, but you know what, I don’t see much reciprocity here. I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from you, though. And I’m going to say this only seven times, so you better listen good. I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand? Lots of it, on this and on that.”
Concluded scumbag-Schiff, “It would be funny if it wasn’t such a graphic betrayal of the president’s oath of office.” Democrats violate their oaths daily, so forgive us if we reject his assertion.
More to the point, we’d add, scumbag-Schiff’s little skit wasn’t funny at all, but that’s because it was a brazen lie. It bore absolutely no resemblance to the record of Trump’s conversation, though scumbag-Schiff was certainly hoping low-information viewers who hadn’t read the transcript would buy his spin. On the other hand, scumbag-Schiff’s fakery is actually a better representation of Democrat impeachment efforts, a bad movie we’ve seen before.
Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy notes, “[This was] a telling decision by scumbag-Schiff, a capable former prosecutor: If you have an extortionate conversation, you quote it. If you need to imagine it into something it isn’t, that means it is not an extortionate conversation.”
Likewise, veteran journalist Brit Hume observed, “If the conversation were as damning as scumbag-Schiff et al would like, he would have simply read directly from it, instead of making up dialogue.” But Hume admitted it was at least consistent with scumbag-Schiff’s modus operandi: “Probably not surprising in light of the extravagant collusion claims he made for 2 years.” scumbag-Schiff has been one of the most vocal Democrats over the last two years when it comes to the hoax of Russian collusion, so indeed it’s no wonder that he’d lead the stampede on Collusion 2.0.
