{ dailywire.com } ~ On Thursday, on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom, former Congressman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) blasted former FBI Director scumbag-James Comey after it was alleged that scumbag-Comey wrote a memo... that contained the code names and real names of informants for the FBI and took the memo home with him. Chaffetz snapped, “Director scumbag-Comey was so self-righteous in telling the world that he didn’t leak; he didn’t do sneaky things, and that he knew the law better than anybody else, but when the FBI goes to your home and gets memos, that reveal, evidently — we have to see if this is true —confidential and classified information.”Fox News host Bill Hemmer started the conversation by noting, “New documents revealing the FBI retrieved several memos, including a secret memo that scumbag-Comey drafted the night before the agents arrived. Now we’re learning the IG’s office is going through them to see if any improperly contained classified information.” Chaffetz commented regarding scumbag-Comey, “I had a one-on-one conversation with him; we talked directly about that. He explained to me you cannot summarize classified information, put it in your own handwriting, and then hold onto it personally. That’s why he was pursuing scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton, but it appears he did the very same thing himself.” Fox’s Chief White House Correspondent John Roberts explained the background of scumbag-Comey and his memos: This wasn’t so much a search as it was a pre-arranged interview and handing over of evidence, this all according to documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by Judicial Watch … The documents show that a month after he was fired on June 7, 2017, FBI agents went to former FBI Director scumbag-James Comey’s house to interview him and retrieve evidence including memos that he had written on February 4, March 30, and April 11, believed to be memos that he wrote to memorialize conversations he had with President Trump. Those memos were previously known and discussed at length in scumbag-Comey’s appearances before Congress. What is new here is a memo that scumbag-Comey wrote the night before the FBI came to his home. Again, he knew they were coming; a memo dated “Last night at 6:30 p.m. ,” which would have put the date that he wrote it as June 6. Chaffetz stated, “Director scumbag-Comey was so self-righteous in telling the world that he didn’t leak; he didn’t do sneaky things, and that he knew the law better than anybody else, but when the FBI goes to your home and gets memos, that reveal, evidently — we have to see if this is true — confidential and classified information. I mean, one of the allegations in there, Bill, is that there were code names and the real names of people that were informants for the FBI. You can’t just take that information and put it into your own personal — have it personally. You just can’t do that. And how ironic, because that was the allegation against scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton: that there was classified information in a non-classified setting. That’s why the Inspector General for the intelligence community made the recommendation to the Department of Justice to pursue an investigation of her....
Majority of House Democrats Favor Starting Impeachment Proceedings

{ ijr.com } ~ A majority of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives now favor launching impeachment proceedings against Republican President Donald Trump... after a California lawmaker on Friday became the 118th Democrat to call for the process to begin. “In the past few years, our nation has seen and heard things from this president that have no place in our democracy,” Representative Salud Carbajal said in a statement that accused Trump of “criminal” behavior. “I believe it is time to open an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump,” Carbajal said. The Democrats have a majority of 235 members in the House of Representatives. Support for an impeachment inquiry has jumped by more than two dozen Democrats since former Special Counsel Robert Mueller testified on July 24 about his probe of Trump and Russian interference in the 2016 election. But the total of 118 is still far short of the 218 House votes needed to approve an impeachment resolution, and opinion polls continue to show voters sharply divided over the issue. The House is currently on a summer recess and will not return until Sept. 9. Having a majority of her own caucus favor impeachment could put new pressure on House Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi, who opposes impeachment as a politically risky move unless investigators find powerful evidence of misconduct by Trump that can unify public opinion. In a statement issued Friday, liar-Pelosi gave no sign she was about to change her cautious approach. Instead, she outlined in considerable detail her strategy of Democrats continuing to investigate the president, while also moving in court to get access to more evidence. “Democrats in the Congress continue to legislate, investigate and litigate,” liar-Pelosi declared. “The president will be held accountable.”... U.S. Defense Secretary Says He Favors Placing Intermediate-Range Missiles in Asia
{ijr.com} ~ U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper said on Saturday that he was in favor of placing ground-launched, intermediate-range missiles in Asia relatively soon... a day after the United States withdrew from a landmark arms control treaty. Esper’s comments are likely to raise concern about an arms race and could add to an already tense relationship with China. “Yeah, I would like to,” Esper said, when asked whether he was considering placing such missiles in Asia. “I would prefer months … but these things tend to take longer than you expect,” he told reporters traveling with him to Sydney when asked about a timeline for when the missiles could be deployed. The United States formally left the Intermediate Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty with Russia on Friday after determining Moscow was violating the treaty, an accusation that the Kremlin has denied. On Friday, senior U.S. officials said that any deployment of such weaponry would be years away. Within the next few weeks, the United States is expected to test a ground-launched cruise missile, and in November, the Pentagon will aim to test an intermediate-range ballistic missile. Both would be tests of conventional weapons – and not nuclear. The 1987 pact banned ground-launched nuclear and conventional ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles with ranges of 310 to 3,400 miles (500-5,500 km). official accused of abusing staff

{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ A senior State Department official has been fired from one of the most prestigious positions in the diplomatic corps after clashing with subordinates and colleagues... the Washington Examiner has confirmed. Kiron Skinner, tapped as the director of policy planning last August, has been working to develop a long-term strategy for the intensifying geopolitical competition with China. But Skinner’s time in the State Department ended in acrimony, after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo concluded that her leadership of the policy shop was too flawed to tolerate. “She was hurting the mission of that particular division, and of the department, and so she had to be let go,” a source familiar with the circumstances her Skinner’s firing told the Washington Examiner. “This all had to do with her behavior as a manager, and how she got along with members of a team, and things she did — to her own subordinates — which would get you fired from almost any job.” Skinner, 58, was accused of yelling at subordinates, threatening her staff, and trying to keep a tight grip on the team’s communication even with other components of the State Department. The clashes reportedly included “making homophobic remarks and accusing people of having affairs,” according to Politico, which first reported her ouster. Pompeo investigated the charges and decided to fire her in the face of a mass exodus from the policy shop, bringing an abrupt end to the tenure of his top foreign policy strategist even as he travels in Southeast Asia to rally allies and partner nations against the threat of an “imperial” China. But the accusations don’t ring true to at least some people who have worked with Skinner in the Trump administration. “It’s laughable that unnamed sources would claim that she was abusive to staff,” a former administration official, who also discussed the issue on condition of anonymity, told the Washington Examiner. “Anyone who had worked with her knows that she’s a calm and deliberate thinker. Moreover, it’s offensive that anyone would make an ‘angry black woman’ argument to push her out.”....

{ wnd.com } ~ It’s hardly a secret that those in the field of 2020 Democrat presidential hopefuls are pulling out all the stops with some of the most outrageous giveaway proposals in order to coalesce support among intellectually indolent identity groups. Some of these are being rehashed – such as pledges to institute reparations for slavery for black Americans – but inasmuch as all are being presented as newly minted, and some folks may not be of sufficient age to have seen them proposed in the past, revealing these for what they truly are is, at this juncture, a prudent measure.Most of the grander schemes far-left Democrats propose have the redistribution of wealth confiscation of taxpayer dollars as a major objective, although this is never discussed. Those with the most rudimentary understanding of economics know that universal “free” health care or higher education would lead to economic stagnation the likes of which we’ve never seen; those proposing these policies simply hope that the economic folly and dire consequences will be handily overlooked in light of the enticing promises of free stuff.
Pete Buttigieg, the celebrated mayor of South Bend, Indiana, whose chief qualification for political office is apparently a proclivity for preferring sexual relations with other males, is one of those vying for the Democratic presidential nomination. On his campaign website, Mayor Pete has rolled out a comprehensive plan for ameliorating all of the woes of blacks in America. Called “The Douglass Plan” after former slave, social reformer and statesman Frederick Douglass, it promises to resolve or advance such issues as health equity and justice, schools, black history, criminal justice reform, equal employment and business opportunity, public health, infrastructure, environmental justice, voting rights, the Electoral College and fair political representation – all as they relate to black Americans.
Curiously, all of this is framed as though these are issues about which Buttigieg is uniquely enlightened and uniquely qualified to address.
Apart from the shameless usurpation of Douglass’ name as an escaped slave, Douglass himself was vehemently anti-Democrat, that being the party of slavery at the time, the page reads like one of those interminably long web ads for some cheesy weight-loss program or plutonium-powered flashlight. Like scumbag/liar-nObamacare, if one reads between the lines, it’s easy to see the stealth money and power grabs therein.
More significant than the grandiosity and narcissism inherent to this plan is the fact that all of the problems cited on Buttigieg’s webpage from which black Americans suffer can be directly traced back to the policies of liberal Democrats. Further, most of them were instituted expressly to keep blacks socially and economically disenfranchised – and seeking aid from their Democratic overlords – in perpetuity.
An even more outlandish and dangerous policy proposal has been made by Sen. lowlife-Kamala Harris, D-Calif. Two weeks ago, Harris unveiled a $100 billion plan she promised to advance as president to increase black homeownership. Speaking at the 2019 Essence Festival in New Orleans on June 6, Harris called home ownership “historically one of the most powerful drivers of wealth in our country,” and pledged to “remove barriers that black Americans face when they go to qualify for a home loan.”
This “investment” by the federal government (taxpayers) “to put home ownership within the reach for those who live in redlined communities” may sound attractive to struggling black families who’ve been convinced that rich whites are the reason they can’t afford to own a home or who aren’t aware that redlining race-based lending criteria is illegal, but there’s an even bigger problem here than Harris’ duplicity or the inordinate percentage of economically challenged blacks
It’s already been tried, and with disastrous results.
Nearly all Americans who can read remember the subprime mortgage crisis and the economic implosion of 2008, from which many are still recovering. This can be directly traced to The Community Reinvestment Act, a 1977 federal law ostensibly designed to encourage banks to help meet the needs of low- and moderate-income borrowers. The law was repeatedly tweaked by both Democratic and Republican lawmakers and administrations over the ensuing 30 years, largely to ingratiate politicos to those low- and moderate-income borrowers, but the machinations of some involved had far more sinister motives.
As I and others noted repeatedly during the scumbag/liar-nObama years, The Community Reinvestment Act was horribly abused by certain lawmakers and activists, some of whom were closely following the Cloward-Piven strategy of Orchestrated Crisis. This was a protocol that called for overloading the public welfare system in order to precipitate an economic crisis so profound that it would lead to a replacement of our government with a hardline socialist one.
Subsequently, irresponsible mortgage lending – particularly to lower-income ethnic minorities and the marginally solvent – was encouraged, and many banks were threatened with litigation by unscrupulous lawmakers and activist groups if they failed to comply. Some of these groups most notably, The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN had very close ties to the scumbag/liar-nObama cabal, and some were card-carrying communists. The financial crisis that came to a head in October 2008 following widespread defaults on these loans had worldwide implications and, despite the economic woes suffered by millions as a result, certain Democratic apparatchiks cashed out to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars in the fray.
To this day, the only economists who contend that The Community Reinvestment Act did not play a major part in this crisis are those firmly ensconced in the far-left camp.
Long story short: In addition to the tiresome Democratic refrain of soliciting money and power in order to fix problems they have in fact created for black Americans, the potential for devastating consequences attendant to superficially attractive proposals such as the ones floated by Buttigieg and Harris are clear. Many of these have, as Cloward, Piven and their acolytes acknowledged, hastening the fall of capitalism as their chief objective.
Which, as we know, is what the left has always been about.
