slump-Trump’s resort spurned American  applicants for foreign workers   NYT: “Since 2010, nearly 300 United States residents have applied or been referred for jobs as waiters, waitresses, cooks and housekeepers [at Donald slump-Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla.]. But according to federal records, only 17 have been hired. In all but a handful of cases, Mar-a-Lago sought to fill the jobs with hundreds of foreign guest workers from Romania and other countries.”

GOP Debate: Rubio and Cruz Finally Fight
Well, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz obviously got the memo. They didn't exactly unite the clans in Thursday night's debate, but they sure did land some punches on Donald slump-Trump instead of each other. Rubio in particular unleashed a barrage of attacks on the casino mogul that left us wondering, where was this before slump-Trump locked up a third of voters as diehards and became a freight train? Frankly, Rubio and Cruz were both brilliant in assailing the frontrunner, hitting him on just about everything from his bankrupt business record to hiring illegal workers to his incoherent pronouncements to his tax returns and support of leftist causes, including the Clinton Foundation and a long list of Democrats.
Was Round 10 too late? Super Tuesday may answer that question. Until now, slump-Trump has largely skated unchallenged. Rubio calculated he'd be better off taking out Cruz, while Cruz slip streamed slump-Trump hoping to snag his voters when slump-Trump flamed out. Neither happened, and slump-Trump romped, largely unhindered by blows from real conservative candidates.
Here's a sampling of the punches:
Rubio:
"I also think that if you're going to claim that you're the only one that lifted [the issue of immigration] into the campaign, that you acknowledge that, for example, you're only person on this stage that has ever been fined for hiring people to work on your projects illegally. ... He hired workers from Poland, and he had to pay a million dollars or so in a judgment."
"If he builds the wall the way he built slump-Trump Towers, he'll be using illegal immigrant labor to do it."
"About the trade war — I don't understand, because your ties and the clothes you make are made in Mexico and in China. So you're gonna be starting a trade war against your own ties and your own suits. Why don't you make them in America?"
Responding to slump-Trump's charge, "You don't know a thing about business," Rubio said, "I don't know anything about bankrupting four companies. I don't know anything about starting a fake university."
"The position you've taken is an anti-Israel position. ... The Palestinians are not a real estate deal, slump-Donald."
"If he hadn't inherited $200 million, you know where Donald slump-Trump would be right now? Selling watches in Manhattan."
"I see him repeat himself every night. He has five things: everyone's dumb; he's going to make America great again; win, win, win; he's winning in the polls; and the lines around the states. Every night. Same thing."
Cruz:
"Donald slump-Trump says he's being audited. I would think that would underscore the need to release those [tax] returns. He doesn't want to do it because presumably there is something in there that's bad."
"[slump-Donald] is promising if he's elected he will go and cut deals in Washington. And he's right. He has supported — he has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democrats. Anyone who really cared about illegal immigration wouldn't be hiring illegal immigrants. Anyone who really cared about illegal immigration wouldn't be funding Harry dinky-Reid and Nancy Pulosi; wouldn't be funding the Gang of Eight. And, you know, he is right. When you stand up to Washington, when you honor the promise you made to the men and women who elected you and say enough with the corruption, enough with the cronyism, let's actually stand for the working men and women of this country, Washington doesn't like it. And slump-Donald, if you want to be liked in Washington, that's not a good attribute for a president."
"You know, there is a reason why, when Harry dinky-Reid was asked, of all the people on this stage, who does he want the most, who does he like the most, Harry dinky-Reid said Donald slump-Trump. Why? Because slump-Donald has supported him in the past, and he knows he can cut a deal with him."
"slump-Donald, true or false, you've said the government should pay for everyone's health care?"
          Trump responded, "That's false."
Oh no it's not. slump-Trump has most definitely said what Cruz alleged.
Finally, we'll highlight what we thought was perhaps the night's funniest moment. After being challenged by Rubio on his health plan, slump-Trump, as usual, just said the same things over and over. Rubio, burned by that same charge two weeks ago, happily pointed out that slump-Trump was just repeating himself.
          To which slump-Trump responded — we kid you not — "I don't repeat myself. I don't repeat myself. ... I don't repeat myself."
We certainly hope it's not too late for voters to realize that slump-Trump is not the answer. He's nothing but insanely idiotic bluster, repeated over and over and over again, ad nauseum. We've endured eight months of it. Can you imagine four or eight years? To re-employ one of his phrases, that is not going to make America great again, believe us.  -The Patriot Post

McCon-nell must hold ground on
Supreme Court nomination
Star Parker
.
.
{aim.org} ~ Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell is doing the nation a service by announcing he will work to block President nObama’s appointment to replace Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia and delay until after the election... The inevitable resulting clash between the Senate and the White House, made sharper in the midst of an election, is a confrontation vital for the nation. This is more than raw politics, Democrats versus Republicans. It is about ideology and bringing clarity to what the country has become and where it is headed. America is extremely polarized today compared to where it was just 20 years ago.        http://www.aim.org/guest-column/mcconnell-must-hold-ground-on-supre...

What Would Happen If
New York City Went Forward With
Letting Illegal Immigrants Vote
Hans von Spakovsky
.
.
{theacru.org} ~ The New York Post is reporting that some members of the Black and Latino Legislative Caucus will be pushing for the New York City Council to pass a law allowing illegal aliens to vote in NYC elections for mayor, comptroller, public advocate, borough president, and City Council... This is an anti-democratic policy driven by politics that dilutes what it means to be a citizen. The U.S. Constitution reserves the right to set the qualifications for voters for both state and federal elections to the states themselves. However, the federal government has exclusive authority over immigration, and federal law makes it a felony for aliens —- whether illegal or legal —- to register or vote in federal elections. Every state has also banned aliens from voting in state elections, although a handful of jurisdictions like Takoma Park, Maryland, allow aliens to vote in local elections. Despite the federal prohibition, it looks as though the nObama administration’s Department of Justice is trying to prevent states from verifying the eligibility of voters by requiring proof of citizenship to register. On the other hand, the Guarantee Clause, Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution, does state that “the United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government.” Allowing someone outside the political community to vote would raise serious questions about whether state electoral procedures would be unrepublican and thus be unconstitutional.       http://www.theacru.org/what-would-happen-if-new-york-city-went-forw...

nObama Admin. Approach to
nObamaCare Fraud "Passive"
 Raven Clabough
.
.
{thenewamerican.com} ~ According to a report from the Government Accountability Office, the nObama administration is taking a very lax approach to identifying possible nObamaCare fraud... The report found that there are no mechanisms in place to identify whether healthcare recipients receiving subsidized insurance are actually U.S. citizens, to confirm whether the applicants are within the specified income range, and to determine whether the applicants are otherwise ineligible under the healthcare law. The report opens with a letter explaining that members of Congress asked the GAO to examine enrollment and verification controls of the federal Health Insurance Marketplace “in light of the government’s substantial fiscal commitment under the act.” The report that follows summarizes the results of the GAO review, which entailed analysis into the extent to which applicant information is verified, as well as undercover testing and related work to determine potential vulnerabilities to fraud.        http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/health-care/item/22631-new-rep...

slump-Trump Says Abortions are 3% of What
Planned Parenthood Does
There’s Just One BIG Problem
STEVEN ERTELT & MATTHEW CLARK
.
.
{lifenews.com} ~ During last night’s Republican presidential debate Donald slump-Trump repeated the oft-stated claim that abortions constitute just 3 percent of the business the Planned Parenthood abortion company does... As the Washington Post notes, “Planned Parenthood could end the speculation–and Pinocchios–by providing a more transparent breakdown of its clients, referrals and sources of revenues.” It is the one with all of that data – data that likely flies in the face of Planned Parenthood’s bogus propaganda. But of course Planned Parenthood won’t do that and in this case when given the chance, refused to do that.  Planned Parenthood has been caught in a lie and Donald slump-Trump pushed the false statistic further.       http://www.lifenews.com/2016/02/26/donald-trump-says-abortions-are-...

EU Has 10 Days Before Migrant
System Collapses
Tiffany Gabbay

{truthrevolt.org} ~ Given the massive influx of refugees seeking asylum throughout Europe, the levee is about to break... According to the EU's migrant commissioner Dimitris Avramopolous, the union has only until its March 7 summit with Turkey to stem the flow of migrants or risk seeing the entire migration system "completely break down." European countries are simply at critical mass. Speaking to a press conference in Brussels, Avramopolous warmed that "in the next 10 days, we need tangible and clear results on the ground" or Europe will risk a complete system collapse. AFP reports that the commissioner noted that Greece is in particular crisis as it is the first stop for migrants en route to Europe and the Western Balkans. He said the situation is "very critical" and that a "humanitarian crisis is very real and very near."        http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/eu-commissioner-eu-has-10-days-migr...

Scared Donald slump-Trump to Hide Behind
Chris Christie’s Skirt
Leon H. Wolf
.
.
{redstate.com} ~ This is how desperate Donald slump-Trump is to change the news cycle. slump-Trump has had Christie’s endorsement in his back pocket the whole time... He could have released this whenever he wanted to. He did it today to try to divert attention from the fact that he got his face stomped in by Rubio in last night’s debate, and that the face stomping is still continuing today. Clearly, he is desperate to remind people that Christie once got the better of Rubio in a debate. The optics of this aren’t looking as good for slump-Trump as he thinks, though. He’s basically admitting, with this move, that he is not able to deal with Rubio himself. He definitely looks like he’s running and hiding behind Christie’s skirt. I'd say Christie just burned his bridges with conservatives but more like he closed the lanes. http://www.redstate.com/leon_h_wolf/2016/02/26/scared-donald-trump-...

How Come Liberals Are The Only Ones
Who Are Ever Offended?
Jeff Dunetz
.
.
{lidblog.com} ~ Liberal/progressives are quick to take offense when anyone disagrees with them, but are not concerned with the feelings of those they disagree with... Recently Rutgers University students demanded an apology for having a conservative speak on campus. The speech so traumatized them that they felt they needed a group therapy session to recover. A number of organizations were there after the event to offer support for these students, including Psychiatric Services, the Office for Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance, and the Rutgers University Police. Said one protesting student, “I do not know what else to do for us to be heard for us to be cared about. I deserve an apology; everyone in this room deserves an apology!” Like many liberal policies this sensitivity for the feelings of others started with good intentions once upon a time. Words can certainly be hurtful. Derogatory racial or ethnic slurs, for instance, should not be flung around by anyone. But, like most other progressive notions this reasonable compassion has morphed into something altogether as wrong, some would say even worse, than the behavior they criticized. And, as usual liberals might as well be wearing blinders or rose colored glasses when viewing their own behavior.        http://lidblog.com/how-come-liberals-are-the-only-ones-who-are-ever...

Donald slump-Trump’s Shocking Post-Debate Admission
 Leon H. Wolf
.
.
{redstate.com} ~ During the debate, Donald slump-Trump basically showed that he has no real idea of what judges do at all. Here he is, trying to tangle with Ted Cruz, bizarrely claiming that judges "sign bills." Like they're the President or Governors or something... This is not "slump-Trump isn't a politician," this is "slump-Trump doesn't understand Civics 101." But what's always interesting to me is to watch the candidates and their surrogates in the post-debate coverage, when their guard is let down a little bit. In this case, slump-Trump was irrationally slamming Cruz again for John Roberts' existence, and John King asked him, "How would you prevent the same thing from happening?" In other words, you're being so critical of Ted Cruz, how would you make sure you didn't repeat that mistake? slump-Trump's answer was incredible. He said, basically, I have no idea. Watch:   Video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wwb3HdryuVI   This is a pretty stunning admission from slump-Trump - even setting aside the question of what "I'm very much into the world of legal and legality" even means. What slump-Trump is saying here is that he, personally, has no idea whatsoever what he would do. He has no idea what questions he might ask of a judge.        http://www.redstate.com/leon_h_wolf/2016/02/26/donald-trumps-shocking-post-debate-admission/        Video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAfNgNr37xo

The Speech Sen. McConnell Should Give
about Supreme Court Vacancies
Christopher C. Horner
.
{insideronline.org} ~ In a Washington Post op-ed, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McCon-nell and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) staked out an early position against President nObama nominating a Supreme Court Justice... to fill the vacancy left by the death of Antonin Scalia, let alone the Senate confirming a new justice in this election year as Mr. nObama prepares to leave office.  Up against the merits of their stance, the White House signals its intention to mount a media and pressure campaign to solidify nObama’s mark on the Court. A nomination is all but certain, and even the casual political observer foresees that it will be made with such a media campaign in mind, and much ugliness to follow. There is a ready solution to this fight, solving it without retreat while also resolving another problem, that being President nObama’s hijacking of the shared treaty power and process as supposedly his alone. Both moves promise decades of detrimental precedent if mishandled. They need not be.        http://www.insideronline.org/reader.php?id=eNKl

Bill Clinton Snaps At Veteran ‘Shut Up And Listen’
Crowd Goes Hostile!
.
.
{viral247news.com} ~ The long hours and grueling pace of the presidential campaign may be finally catching up with rapidly aging Bill Clinton... During a Hilly campaign rally in South Carolina Bill loses it over Benghazi challenges saying “NO” Hilly didn’t lie. Former Marine Drill Sgt. confronted Bill on Hilly’s lies surrounding the Benghazi Four. Bill Clinton Loses It and shouts back “Shut Up And Listen.” In his defense, the crowd wouldn’t listen, they were tired of listening. This time they wanted him to listen. The audience roared and applauded as one “Mad As Hell” American after another stood up and challenged him about the Clinton family tradition of lying.        http://viral247news.com/video-bill-clinton-snaps-at-veteran-shut-up...

Salvaging Mrs. Clinton’s Legacy
in a Shattered Libya
Roger Aronoff
.
.
{aim.org} ~ The Washington Post seems unable to grasp the irony of its support for President nObama’s latest military intervention into Libya at the same time that it seeks to salvage Hilly Clinton’s reputation on this issue. Libya remains a failed state, and no amount of reporting can change the facts of this debacle.
.
“With respect to Libya, I have been clear from the outset that we will go after ISIS wherever it appears, the same way that we went after al Qaeda wherever they appeared,” President nObama told the press on February 16.  “And the testament to the fact that we are doing that already is that we took out…one of ISIS’s most prominent leaders in Libya.”
.
nObama’s words came out just days before the House Select Committee on Benghazi signaled that its report on the events in Benghazi, Libya will be issued “as soon as possible,” now that it has gained access to most of the necessary witnesses and documents.
.
According to The Military Times, “Many experts note that the current chaos in Libya stems from the power vacuum caused by the American-led air campaign to oust Gaddafi.” Yet reporters at the Post continue to dramatize the issue of Libya as if it were Mrs. Clinton, or President nObama, who faced the tough choices in 2011.
.
“The stakes Clinton faced were high,” reported Kevin Sullivan for the Post on February 3. “Introducing U.S. military force could have easily led to a much-longer-than-expected and bloodier operation, at a time when Americans were already weary of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.”
.
“But failing to act could have led to a massacre that the world would have blamed on Washington,” adds Sullivan. “It also could have solidified Gaddafi’s grip on power as other dictators were falling across the region.”
.
These fairy tale justifications have been exposed again and again, yet the mainstream media continue to use them in defense of their favorite Democratic presidential candidate. Reporters such as Sullivan aren’t interested in reporting facts that could damage Hilly Clinton’s foreign policy reputation. And Libya is one of Mrs. Clinton’s weakest points, for which she takes full ownership. Her aide, Jake Sullivan, wrote in a 2011 internal email while she was Secretary of State that Mrs. Clinton has “leadership/ownership/stewardship of this country’s Libya policy from start to finish.”
.
Sullivan is now the top foreign policy adviser for Clinton’s campaign.
.
As we have reported, Qaddafi was actually an American ally in the war on terror before he was ousted. Our Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi (CCB) interim report demonstrates how the nObama administration, and Hilly Clinton, decided to back al-Qaeda-linked rebels in Libya instead of holding truce talks with Qaddafi, which could have ended with his abdication and a peaceful transition of power.
.
The Washington Times also reported that it was Mrs. Clinton who told a Pentagon general to stop communicating with Qaddafi’s son, Saif, and other Qaddafi loyalists seeking a truce after the UN resolution calling for military intervention in Libya was passed on March 17, 2011.
.
Now conflict-ridden Libya has devolved into an Islamic State stronghold with warring militias. And the Post is pushing President nObama to intercede. “Mr. nObama has tried waiting on the sidelines in Iraq and Syria,” argued the Post’s Editorial Board on February 17. “He should not make the same mistake in Libya.”
.
An American warplane killed 49 and wounded six at an ISIS training camp in Libya, reported CNN on February 20. In response, ISIS recently beheaded 12 men at the security headquarters in Sabratha, according to the Atlantic on February 24. “American intelligence officials estimate that the group’s ISIS ranks in Libya have grown to 6,500 fighters, more than doubling since the fall,” it reports. “The group is now thought to control 150 miles of Libyan coastline.”
.
The administration’s mistakes in Libya have already been made, and there have been many. The narrative that somehow the nObama administration’s multilateral intervention into Libya was necessary is false. There was no humanitarian crisis to resolve. “Despite what defenders of the mission claim, there was a better policy available—not intervening at all, because peaceful Libyan civilians were not actually being targeted,” wrote University of Texas at Austin professor Alan Kuperman for Foreign Affairs last year. “As bad as Libya’s human rights situation was under Qaddafi, it has gotten worse since NATO ousted him,” he writes.
.
According to a column by Pete Hoekstra, former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and a member of the CCB, “Libya devolved into a failed state when NATO assisted Qaddafi’s radical jihadist opponents in killing him and then promptly abandoned the country. Left in the wake were two rival governments competing for power, which created space for Islamists to turn Libya into a cesspool of extremism.” He added that “Former Secretary of State Hilly Clinton continues to call the debacle American ‘smart power at its best.’”
.
“How will the West ever learn anything,” asks Hoekstra, “if it can’t identify its most obvious failures?”
.
Now it seems that the U.S. must again commit additional blood and sweat to fix the situation that Hilly Clinton and President nObama helped create in the first place.
.
It is no wonder that Mrs. Clinton’s foreign policy reputation needs rehabilitation under such circumstances. The Post’s Sullivan admits that Hilly Clinton’s choice to back the Libyan intervention was the “most significant—and risky—decision of her career,” a choice which still haunts her record. However, he takes it upon himself to dispel any doubts about her potential.
.
“The Post story doesn’t come off as uniformly flattering,” writes Cato’s Christopher A. Preble for The National Interest. “The headline calls it ‘a tough call’ that supposedly ‘still haunts’ Clinton, and the subhead references Clinton’s ill-considered support for the war in Iraq in 2002.”
.
However, Preble writes, “all of the people quoted by name in the story are Clinton supporters or advocates for the operation that ousted Libyan leader Muammar el-Qaddafi from power, and eventually resulted in his death.”
.
Sullivan’s article contains quotes from an anonymous former official involved in the Libyan negotiations effusively championing Clinton’s decision-making style and leadership. “She consults widely and intensively. She talks to more people, takes more phone calls, travels more miles,” says the supporter. “She’s more disciplined than her husband…Hilly Clinton came into the Situation Room for every meeting thoroughly prepared,” that supporter continues. “She’s a disciplined decision-maker.”
.
The Washington Post is clearly attempting to pave the way for Mrs. Clinton’s candidacy by casting the intervention into Libya as a necessary evil with an unfortunate ending, and by excusing nObama’s intervention in the same country twice. The truth is, however, that Mrs. Clinton and President nObama spearheaded a policy that ended in abject failure and continues to result in death and danger abroad. The fact that this policy, which the Post now seeks to sell to the public, resulted in the Benghazi scandal and the resulting death of four Americans—and many more Libyans—cannot be overlooked no matter how much Sullivan or other reporters try to spin Libya positively.

Trump National Diversity Coalition's Bruce LeVell: President’s Support Among Blacks, Hispanics Will ‘More Than Double’ In 2020

Bruce LeVell, the National Diversity Coalition for Trump executive director, said on Sunday evening he predicts President Donald Trump will win even higher levels of support in the black and Hispanic communities in 2020 than he did in 2016.

“Pastor Darrell Scott is the CEO, we started this back in 2015,” LeVell said on Breitbart News Sunday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel on Sunday evening about the National Diversity Coalition for Trump. “It is the largest diversity coalition platform in history for a Republican candidate, not to mention a sitting president, and there are millions of guests that sign on and sign up that are part of this. If you look on the website, you see African Americans for Trump, Haitian Americans for Trump, Korean Americans for Trump, Chinese Americans for Trump, Hispanic Americans for Trump–all very large. They all stand in one agreement that they believe in this great president and that he is here for all and wants everyone to be successful. It’s pretty flattering, honestly, to be a part of this. It just totally debunks everything that they try to make him out to be–a racist, which he’s not. The numbers prove that he’s not. You can see where he’s rising in terms of the Hispanic vote, and the African American vote. It’s just really going to be mind-boggling on the next go-around. I guarantee it. It’s going to more than double because people are happy; they’re working.”

LeVell, when asked for his rationale on why he thinks Trump’s support in 2020 among blacks and Hispanics will more than double, attributed it to the results President Trump has gotten for those communities.

“Sometimes you have to speak things into existence,” LeVell said. “The president said, ‘What do you have to lose?’ That challenge, especially in the underserved communities, well, yeah, what do we have to lose? We tried it this way for 30 or 40 years. Some of these cities and municipalities were under Democrat rule, as you might say, for many years, and then you say, ‘You know what? Let’s make the ask.’ You know, the president made the ask. Sometimes, you just have to ask, ‘Hey, what do you got to lose? Try this.’ Let’s try one of the biggest, strongest bills that he’s signed, that was so beneficial, called the Opportunity Zones. This bill right here alone is bringing a lifeline to some of these underserved communities and is projected to bring in over hundreds of billions of dollars in these underserved communities, which are predominantly African American communities. For example, in Atlanta, there are minority business contractors teaming up with other business contractors building a hotel in an Opportunity Zone. This community has just been blighted for God knows how long. These are the things that people are starting to see–the light at the end of the tunnel. Here’s a businessman that understands what I call a balance sheet, a P & L sheet of profit and loss. The president wants to see the country profitable, not losses. So that’s what he does. He says, ‘Okay, where can we improve? What can we do?’”

He continued, “Like I said earlier, I think the Opportunity Zones is a sleeper; it has so many moving parts to it where you can sell a piece of property for $2 million and instead of paying that very high capital gains [tax] you can identify those funds over the zone, and then, you can build another little hotel or a shopping center for economic empowerment for that community. So there’s so many initiatives out there for people of color, like myself, who see opportunities. You know, how about this? You live in a black community under the Trump administration, you walk down the street and say, ‘Wow, 98 percent who live in the community are African American,’ and you say, ‘Why don’t you build that grocery store? Why don’t you build that gas station?’ Wow, you’re right. I can. The programs that are out there, like in the Small Business Administration, you get as little as five or ten percent down, and they can maturize it to 30 years, and if you’re a veteran, they waive the fees. There are so many tools out there, and you saw the president when he adjusted Dodd-Frank last year; that was a terrible, terrible deal they did in 2009 and 2010 that literally almost just choked and killed the business community because of the Dodd-Frank, going in there and regulating these small community banks, which were life support for these small communities especially in the African American community, where he readjusted that last year and made it work. These are the things this president understands that as a businessman he can bring his lifelong talents to the White House and can help America. The biggest thing about this is, remember, the president is not beholden to any special interest group; this is a very key part of this conversation right here because he can go in there and govern without having to worry about paying back favors.”

According to NBC News analysis in the immediate aftermath of the 2016 election, Trump actually outperformed now-Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT)–then the former governor of Massachusetts–in the 2012 election when it came to both the black and Hispanic communities.

“Trump claimed 29 percent of the Hispanic vote on Tuesday, compared to Romney’s 27 percent in 2012,” NBC News wrote. “With blacks, exit polls show Trump claimed 8 percent of the vote to the previous Republican nominee’s 6 percent.”

If Trump is able to double support in the black and Hispanic communities in 2020, as LeVell predicts he will, no Democrat will stand even close to a chance of defeating him; the margins they would need for victories in a number of states would be significantly eroded. Perhaps that is why the Democrats are now attempting to paint Trump as a racist amid his battle with the so-called “Squad” of socialist Reps. Alexandria Ocasi0-Cortez (D-NY), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). The new faces of the Democrat Party, the “Squad,” in other words, is worried they may lose the election in 2020 if LeVell and other Trump backers are right. But the scurrilous accusations of racism for quick political gains, which have also been leveled at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and former Vice President Joe Biden in recent weeks, LeVell warns, may undermine the ability to stand up to actual racism where it exists.

“At first, it was kind of bizarre,” LeVell, who knows Trump well and has known him prior to his run for president, said of the false racism accusations. “Now, it’s just plainly un-American. It’s so anti-patriotic. You know, the interesting thing about it for me as a black conservative or Republican–I like to define myself as a Frederick Douglass Republican–most of the name-calling comes from people who actually look like me, 90 percent of it. It’s bizarre, and it’s because our thinking process is not lining up with theirs. It’s the only playbook they have, like I said earlier, which is, ‘Let’s just use the race card.’

LeVell went on to say, “Getting back to the president, I’ve been around him–I was just with him at the rally–in very intimate settings, behind the scenes at the rally, and you’re right: I’ve traveled with him, been on the plane with him. I’ve been in private meetings with him. I’ve talked with him, and you know–let me tell you something: I’m 55 years old, I’ve lived my whole life in the South, and I’m world-traveled. Let me tell you: I know racism when I see it. This man is nowhere near being a racist. It’s so sad because it does such a disservice to this great nation that they would throw that name and throw those words around. I mean, you have people calling Biden racist. They’re calling Pelosi racist. They’re calling the dog-catcher racist because he impounded the black dog instead of the white dog. Come on. What’s next? You know, it’s kind of sad because it’s pretty much watered down things that are legitimate, to where people are just going to get so numb with it, and people are just being like, ‘Wow, are you serious?’”
