Vice President Mike Pence -vs- The Insufferable Chris Wallace
by sundance
{ } ~ The insufferable guardian of the swamp gates, Chris Wallace, was in his full uniparty glory this morning as he scolds Vice-President Mike Pence... during a discussion of the current state of swamp affairs. Topics include President sc umbag/liar-nObama’s glorious return to the campaign trail; the magnanimous resistance Wallace opinion from an anonymous usurper within the administration; President Trump’s unnecessary frustration with the failure of DOJ and FBI to address internal corruption; Bob Woodward’s anti-Trump book etc.
Benghazi Survivor Refuses To Stand Down As
scumbag/liar-nObama Attacks Benghazi ‘Wild Conspiracy’ Theorists
by Benny Johnson
{ } ~ scumbag/liar-nObama accused the GOP of meddling in conspiracy theories while giving a much-anticipated political speech at the University of Illinois Friday... scumbag/liar-nObama scoffed at some of the GOP’s agenda items in his speech, critiquing the Republican-control Congresses. “This Congress has championed the unwinding of campaign finance laws to give billionaires outside influence over our politics, systematically attacked voting rights to make it harder for young people  and minorities and the poor to vote, handed out tax cuts without regard to deficits, slashed the safety net wherever it could, cast dozens of votes to take away health insurance from order Americans…”  scumbag/liar-nObama started. The former president then accused the GOP of “embracing wild conspiracy theories — like those surrounding Benghazi. Or my birth certificate.” The line caused laughter in the audience. But one veteran and Benghazi survivor was not laughing... Now the jerk is calling it Wild Conspiracy’ Theorists. He is no President for sure.
Senator Lindsey Graham Interviewed by Maria Bartiromo
by sundance
{ } ~ Senator Lindsey Graham appears on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo to discuss all things swampy... Thankfully Mrs. Bartiromo calls out President scumbag/liar-nObama for the gobsmacking projection within in his accusation that President Trump is politicizing the Department of Justice. Additionally, Senator Graham renews his request for a special counsel to investigate the FBI and DOJ conduct during the prior administration; along with support for the declassification of documents. The Declassification Conundrum. The declassification issue is easy to see: the “sources and methods” are corrupt. The  sources are “journalists and unlawful FBI/NSA database searches”, and the methods are “government leaks to media and the dossier author, Chris Steele”...
Visa-Fraud System Bit of a Joke
{ } ~ America is relying on an old and neglected computer system to ferret out terrorist threats that is “a bit of a joke,” according Washington watchdog Judicial Watch... Citing a recent government oversight report, Judicial Watch said the State Department branch “responsible for spotting visa and passport fraud fails to practice basic security protocols, leaving the nation extremely vulnerable to foreign threats,” For example, the machines in the system are outdated, monitor poorly and fail to protect data. Employees fail to perform basic security scans, even though the “monstrous agency” has a $37 billion annual budget. Judicial Watch said the report “documents the alarming inefficiencies in a decades-old system – Bureau of Consular Affairs Fraud Prevention Program (CA/FPP) – used by the State Department to determine if foreigners seeking U.S. visas are being candid about their identity and where they have traveled.”...
Maria Bartiromo Interviews
Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte
by sundance
{ } ~ Bob Goodlatte is the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee; and also the lead chairman (w/ Gowdy) of the joint House Oversight and Judiciary Committee... that is conducting the interviews of witnesses for the investigation into corruption by the FBI and DOJ.  The joint committee has interviewed: Bill Priestap, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page and Bruce Ohr; no transcripts released likely to avoid coordinated testimony. In this morning’s interview with Maria Bartiromo Chairman Goodlatte discusses the need to interview Nellie Ohr and Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson voluntarily or by subpoena. Again, note the oft-repeated “sources and methods” declassification issue. Think about it. What were the sources/methods for the Steele Dossier? What were the  sources/methods for the FISA application? It’s the sources and methods that were/are corrupt. Declassification is futile without un-redacting the sources and methods.
Death Be Not Loud

{ } ~ Question: What is more cringe-inducing than a celebrity funeral?
Answer: Two back-to-back celebrity funerals.
The ghoulish twin spectacles last week memorializing Aretha Franklin and rino-John McCain brought out the worst in family, friends and frenemies. No matter your partisan affiliation, these vulgar exercises in self-indulgence should serve as object lessons on how not to depart with dignity.
There was the nation's most infamous anti-Semite, Louis Farrakhan, smiling like the Cheshire cat onstage with hate crime hoax godfather scumbag-Al Sharpton and shakedown con artist Jesse Jackson, who exploited his honored platform to threaten funeral attendees: "If you leave here today and don't register to vote, you're dishonoring Aretha."
There was lascivious 72-year-old liar-Bill Clinton ogling 25-year-old Ariana Grande, who was wearing slightly more fabric than she normally wears, roughly equivalent to two 12- by 12-inch lace doilies, as she warbled "Natural Woman." liar-Clinton's latest public display of asininity closely rivaled his indecent conduct at his former Commerce Secretary Ron Brown's funeral, where the master media manipulator fake-cried after news videographers captured him yukking it up after the National Cathedral service.
There was boorish Bishop Charles H. Ellis III copping a side-feel of Grande's barely covered bosom in the name of "friendliness."
There was Atlanta pastor Jasper Williams hijacking the Detroit dais to share his unsolicited views on crime and parenting.
And there was Georgetown professor Michael Eric Dyson taking a somber moment to honor Aretha Franklin's transcendent talent by wallowing in Trump Derangement Syndrome. Dyson called the president a "lugubrious leech," "dopey doppleganger of deceit and deviance," "lethal liar," "dimwitted dictator" and "foolish fascist."

A-plus for alliterative abomination!
Not to be outdone by the disrespectful requiem for the Queen of Soul, the five-day, three-city rino-McCain processional marathon featured a vindictive blacklist reportedly devised by the decedent himself; passive-aggressive eulogy swipes at President Trump by Meghan rino-McCain, loose lips-Joe Biden, Barack scumbag/liar-nObama and George W. Bush; and a hyperbolic media declaration about how the late Arizona senator's passing augured "the death of political courage" itself.

Spoiler alert: Political courage survived.

The fact that President Trump is living rent-free in the heads of so many camera-ready mourners says more about the Hollywood and D.C. swamps than it does about anything else. Outside La-La Land and the polarized realm of the Resistance, sane Americans live grounded and healthier lives defined primarily and centrally by family, faith, hard work, quiet charity, devotion to community and self-improvement.
And you, dear politicians, entertainers and bitterly clinging entourages, are not at the center of it.
We've seen this graveyard narcissism intertwined with crass partisanship during televised death rituals before. The late dummycrats-Democratic Sen. Paul Wellstone's funeral, after he perished in a plane crash, reeked of electoral opportunism before the 2002 midterms. In front of 21,000 Minnesotans who had gathered to pay tribute to the man, his family and other aides who died in the tragic accident, dummycrats-Democratic leaders gracelessly turned the memorial into a 3.5-hour campaign rally to elect Wellstone's stand-in. Campaign treasurer Rick Kahn led a chorus of boos directed at then Sen. Majority Leader Trent Lott, who had traveled from Mississippi to pay his respects, and former GOP Sen. Rod Grams.
Then-Governor Jesse Ventura, an independent, condemned the circus and said the dummycrats-Democrats' grandstanding "drove the first lady Ventura's wife, Terry to tears;" the couple walked out in protest. GOP senatorial candidate Norm Coleman went on to defeat Wellstone's replacement, the dinosaur Walter Mondale, in what political observers from both sides of the aisle agree was a passionate voter backlash against the funeral fecklessness.

But the main reason for self-restraint, of course, is not electoral self-preservation. It's soul preservation. Sniping about partisan politics on any pulpit or any platform after anyone of any stature has died is just plain petty. Such unhinged diatribes diminish the ranters more than the targets of the rants.
The deeds of the dead should speak for themselves. All else is futile sound and fury, grotesque pomp and theater, meaningless dust in the made-for-TV wind.

YUP: President Trump Signs Great And Beautiful Trump Border Wall During Tour In San Diego

Embedded video

President Donald Trump visited the San Diego border on Wednesday to show off a newly constructed portion of the wall after a fundraising trip in California.

“It’s an amazing project,” Trump said, pointing to the 30-foot high barrier constructed with steel and concrete, noting that it also went six feet underground.

“If you think you’re going to cut it with a blow torch, that doesn’t work, because you hit the concrete, and then if you think you’re going to go through the concrete, that doesn’t work because we have very powerful rebar inside,” Trump said.

The president traveled via motorcade after a fundraiser to Otay Mesa, a community outside San Diego on the United States -Mexico border to review the latest constructed physical barrier.

He pointed out the new wall structure to the press, which was 24 miles of primary and secondary wall at the border.

“We have it covered underground, we have it covered overground,” Trump said.

The president was joined by acting Department of Homeland security Kevin McAllen and several other border security officials.

He said that over 44,000 bollard panels had been set up for the wall, which was then filled with concrete and rebar.

Trump admitted that he envisioned a solid concrete wall when he campaigned for president, but he was told by border officials that they preferred a wall constructed by concrete-filled bollards so they could see through it.

“It’s hardened concrete, very powerful concrete,” Trump said, pointing to the structure.

He added that the steel wall was designed to retain heat, making it harder to climb, plus having an anti-climbing system at the top.

“You can fry an egg on that wall,” he said. The president also acknowledged to reporters that he wanted the wall to be painted black and have spikes but said it was cheaper to let it remain naturally rust-colored.

“We can paint it later,” he said.

The president discussed his growing understanding of border barriers, noting that the Southern border would not need much more than 500 miles of wall to secure the border. He cited the existence of natural mountain and river barriers that prevented criminals from crossing. He did not rule out building additional barriers in the future but said it would depend on whether it was needed.

One border patrol agent spoke about the importance of the border wall to all of the agents, thanking the president for pushing forward on construction.

Trump said he met with Border Patrol prior to constructing the wall, picking the most effective structures to protect the border.

One border security official scoffed at the idea that the wall was a “vanity” project for the president.

“There’s a false narrative out there that this wall is the president’s vanity wall,” he said. “I’m here to tell you right now that that is false.”

He thanked Trump for listening to border patrol agents during the planning and construction process.

“You listened to the agents and you gave them exactly what they asked for,” he said.

One official with Trump confirmed that the structure was funded with regular Congressional appropriations in the FY 2017 and FY 2018 and that that the new wall replaced an inferior structure.

Trump said that he still considered the situation on the border a national emergency, but as more wall went up he could withdraw military forces.

“I hope you’re impressed,” he told reporters as he took questions about the project.

One worker told Trump of a tradition of workers signing the wall if they worked on the wall.

“I’ll sign it,” Trump said, and went to the wall and signed the steel barrier with a marker before encouraging other officials present to do the same.
