Leftist Coach Kerr Responds To Trump
Giving What They Deserved, Cancelling WH Invitation

{rickwells.us} ~ Outspoken radical leftist Steve Kerr, who happens to also have a position as a head coach in the NBA through which to pursue his politics... took an uncharacteristically subdued approach to his team of self-obsessed ingrates being disinvited from the White House. Kerr, a deranged leftist and frequent vicious critic of President Trump, attempted to appear as the magnanimous “bigger man” in response to withdrawal of the now-customary invitation of the NBA champion Golden State Warriors to the White House. Kerr said of President Trump in the interview that, “He was going to break up with us before we could break up with him,” an indication that the team was likely going to snub the President by declining the invitation. Certainly some of its more prominent members had signaled those intentions...What the hell is wrong with these people? https://rickwells.us/leftist-coach-kerr-trump-invitation/

Federal government notifies

{apnews.com} ~ The federal government on Friday told election officials in 21 states that hackers targeted their systems before last year’s presidential election... The notification came roughly a year after U.S. Department of Homeland Security officials first said states were targeted by hacking efforts possibly connected to Russia. The states that told The Associated Press they had been targeted included some key political battlegrounds, such as Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin. Being targeted does not mean that sensitive voter data was manipulated or results were changed. A hacker targeting a system without getting inside is similar to a burglar circling a house checking for unlocked doors and windows. Even so, the widespread nature of the attempts and the yearlong lag time in notification from Homeland Security raised concerns among some election officials and lawmaker... https://www.apnews.com/cb8a753a9b0948589cc372a3c037a567/Federal-government-notifies-21-states-of-election-hacking

{israelnationalnews.com} ~ Jews ascending the Temple Mount on the upcoming Sukkot holiday will be forbidden from bringing the "Four Species" with them, police have decided... ruling that they violate the status quo that prohibits Jewish prayer. The "Four Species" are the etrog (citrus) hadas (myrtle), the aravah (willow) and the Lulav (palm frond) that are mandated by the Torah to be used in special prayers that are part of the synagogue services on each of the seven days of the holiday of Sukkot, excepting the Sabbath. Chief Superintendent Michael Frankenburg, the legal advisor of the Jerusalem District Police, responded to an appeal arguing that that barring the Four Species violated freedom of worship by ruling that bringing the articles to the Temple Mount goes against the status quo on the site prohibiting Jewish prayer... http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/235836?utm_source=activetrail&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl

Trump is on the Wrong Side

{conservativefreepress.com} ~ From the first seconds of his presidential campaign, Donald Trump was as fired up about the Republican establishment in Washington as he was about the Democrats... Throughout the primaries, he made as many – if not more – enemies on the right side of the aisle as he did on the left. By the end of voting, it was only the overwhelming will of the people that put Trump on that stage in Cleveland; you could scarcely find an elected Republican who wouldn’t have preferred someone – ANYONE – else. Since coming to Washington, Trump has cooled off on his attacks on his fellow Republicans, but only slightly. He’s waged into rhetorical battle with Mitch McConnell, RINO-John McCain, Lindsey Graham, RINO-Jeff Flake, Ben Sasse, and many others when the mood has struck him. And while he has also found himself at odds with Republicans like Ted Cruz and the congressmen in the House Freedom Caucus, his loyalties usually come down with the people who put him in the White House – the working conservative men and women who are SICK of the GOP’s political theater. So why is he firmly backing – and campaigning for – the establishment’s pick in the Alabama senate race?...  http://www.conservativefreepress.com/congress/trump-wrong-side-important-senate-battle/

{redstate.com} ~ California Democratic Congressomething Maxine Waters has been quite vocal since the election of Donald Trump...  Somehow, one hopes that she represents the outer fringes progressive/Democratic Party moonbattery, but given the press she receives, its more like she is becoming the unfortunate face of that party.  And one can see that mug almost daily as she pops up on talk shows or videos of her speeches and addresses appear on the Internet.  How deranged is she?  Let us count the ways and this is just stuff from 2017!... https://www.redstate.com/diary/davenj1/2017/09/23/travails-mad-maxine/?utm_source=rsmorningbriefing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl

ON WRITING A COLUMN
by Burt Prelutsky

I believe I have mentioned how surprised I am that my literary output has increased since Donald Trump became president. I fully expected I would be cutting back some once I no longer had Barack liar-nObama and Harry dinky-Reid to kick around. Frankly, I can’t explain why the reverse has happened, unless it’s because I now have both good and bad news to deal with, whereas for eight years, I only had an endless amount of the latter.

I know that some people are so giddy about having a Republican in the White House as anything other than a member of a tour group, they question the wisdom of my ever writing a discouraging word about President Trump. Obviously, I disagree. I see my responsibility as telling the truth as I see it.

Others are free to disagree with my conclusions, but what would be the point of my being a propagandist for Trump? Those, such as the hacks in the employ of the NY Times, the Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, the New Yorker and Time magazine, who worked the other side of the street on behalf of liar-nObama, have lost all credibility, even among the few fair-minded liberals who still exist.

When I see President Trump colluding, not with the Russians, but with Chuck clown-Schumer and Nancy Pulosi, and for no obvious reason, I am going to call him on it. At the same time, I will be eternally grateful that his very first act as Commander-in-chief was keeping liar-Hillary Clinton out of the Oval Office.

Although, I confess I thought George W. Bush’s greatest accomplishments were preventing Al Gore and John hanoi-Kerry from being elected, I don’t want Trump’s singular achievement to be winning an election. I also want to see him build his Wall; reform the tax code and cut taxes; repeal liar-nObamaCare; employ our military grudgingly, but effectively, meaning we don’t become engaged in a war unless we intend to use all available means to win it as quickly and efficiently as humanly possible; and that we investigate and prosecute everyone who has broken the law, meaning that even liar-Hillary Clinton and her aides, along with “sanctuary” mayors and governors, do not receive a free pass because of their elevated status.

Speaking of which, George Bernard Shaw once described England’s abject devotion to all things Shakespearian as “bardolatry.” I’m afraid we have something similar in the United States, but in our case, it tends to revolve around our politicians. It’s unbecoming in a democratic republic such as ours because it has absolutely nothing to do with their actual achievements, everything to do with their celebrityhood.

● The other day, I came across a notice that caught my eye, not because I had any interest in attending the actual event, but because the come-on breathlessly announced that attendees would “See Salman Rushdie Live and In Person.” As opposed, I found myself wondering, to seeing him Dead and In Absentia?

● Speaking of absentia, being a longtime movie fan, I have always wondered why Darren McGavin was not listed in the credits of “The Man with the Golden Arm” and why, 39 years later, Bruce Willis was not listed in the credits of “Nobody’s Fool.”

Inasmuch as these movies and their roles, McGavin as the dope pusher Louie, and Willis as the egotistical contractor Carl Roebuck, were among their very best, it made no sense to me.

It was only recently that I learned that because McGavin was a late hire, by which time the other cast members had been guaranteed their position in the credits, he would have had to settle for a credit below several other lesser lights, he, together with his agent no doubt, decided that in a business where money is often based on such seemingly trivial matters, they preferred that potential employers would wonder about his omission rather than conclude his career was in decline.

I have no way of knowing if the same held true in the case of Bruce Willis and “Nobody’s Fool,” but it well may have.

● After confessing I had no problem with storeowners boobytrapping their businesses in order to ward off looters during natural disasters or simply taking advantage of mob actions, one of my subscribers, a lawyer, reminded me that booby-trapping is illegal, mainly because innocent people could get hurt or even killed. And then showing his conservative credentials, he concluded by pointing out that if they were actually looters, and not merely people seeking shelter from a storm, it would be best to remove them from the gene pool.

In response, I assured him that it would never be my intention to harm someone who was an innocent party, and that we could probably avoid cases of mistaken identity if we held off shooting a person who might be breaking into a business simply to stay safe. It would be far better, I conceded, if we waited to see if he exited the premises carrying several boxes of sneakers or bottles of hootch, and only then shot the creep.

● On a Sunday morning Fox show, they did a segment on a female sports medic who is the team doctor of the Washington Redskins. When she was asked if these macho, predominantly black, football players, had any problem dealing with a woman, she said they didn’t. Then, tellingly, she explained that they had been raised almost exclusively by their aunts and their grandmothers, and therefore had no reluctance to being treated by a woman.

It sounded nice, but in truth it was an indictment of what is generally referred to as the black community.

You notice that not only were fathers not mentioned, but even mothers were removed from the equation. That is because so many of the mothers are not only unwed, but are barely of an age to take care of themselves, let alone a baby or a child.

So long as 70% of black children are being born into fatherless homes and raised by older black women, all those conversations that the race industry is always calling for are pointless. Politicians and race hustlers can decry the lowly status of blacks all they want to, but until blacks are willing to acknowledge that nothing is going to change for the better until black men start to man up and become responsible husbands and fathers, urban blacks will continue to regard collecting welfare as a viable career choice.

What’s more, until black men start getting educated so they can land a job doing something other than peddling drugs, or going on the war path every single time some black thug gets shot during the commission of a crime, and simultaneously stop catting around, impregnating every black teenage girl they can get their mitts on, they will remain at the bottom of the ladder, where, in fact, they currently belong.

● When people wonder if I don’t get frustrated, constantly pointing out the various flaws and failings of the human race, a few of which I grant even I possess, I confess I do. Fortunately, I am, for reasons I can’t begin to explain, an optimist.

Although I realize there are evil people in America, I believe they are greatly out-numbered by decent people, who may be lazier or stupider than would be ideal, but are nevertheless perfectly willing to lend a helping hand to a neighbor or even a stranger and who, by and large, abide by most, if not all, of the 10 Commandments.

Do I wish that bullies, felons and leftists, would simply disappear from the scene? Of course. I wish for that all the time. Now all I need is a compliant genie.
