The briefings where the media would shout: “where exactly are our troops located, and when will they be moving”? Or “can you tell us exactly how many troops are positioned near the Kuwait border, how many marines will be coming ashore; and exactly what time they will be arriving?” …. Earlier today, following the announcement of the military operation that successfully killed the leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, President Donald Trump made calls to families of U.S. victims. The operation to kill/capture al-Baghdadi was named for Kayla: The Muellers received the official confirmation of Baghdadi’s death in listening to Trump’s news conference Sunday morning. They praised and thanked the President, the US military and special forces for taking action. “We were deeply touched by what he said. We were grateful that they didn’t mess around and went right in,” Marsha Mueller said in a phone interview. White House national security adviser Robert O’Brien said the US military operation that resulted in the death of Baghdadi was named after Kayla Mueller. In an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday, O’Brien said, “The chairman of the joint chiefs of staff named the operation that took down al-Baghdadi after Kayla Mueller, after what she had suffered,” adding “that was something that people should know.”...

Speaker liar-Pelosi was angry that the President did not inform Congress before the operation. He explained that he didn’t notify them because of their constant leaking, which was a very reasonable decision in light of the constant leaking. Speaker liar-Pelosi finally responded after more than two-and-a-half hours. “Americans salute the heroism, dedication, and skill of our military and our intelligence professionals and acknowledge the work of our partners in the region,” the California Democrat said in the release. “We are relieved that no U.S. personnel died in this daring raid.” “The death of al-Baghdadi is significant, but the death of this ISIS leader does not mean the death of ISIS,” the release continued. “Scores of ISIS fighters remain under uncertain conditions in Syrian prisons, and countless others in the region and around the world remain intent on spreading their influence and committing acts of terror.” She was angry the Russians knew and she and her blabbermouth leakers weren’t told in advance. The Russians had to be told since we were flying over their airspace and the flight is the most dangerous part of the trip. “This month, the House passed a joint resolution on an overwhelmingly bipartisan 354-60 basis which rejects President Trump’s green-lighting of Turkish aggression into Syria against our Kurdish partners, and calls on him to present a clear strategy to defeat ISIS,” liar-Pelosi said. “The House must be briefed on this raid, which the Russians but not top Congressional Leadership were notified of in advance, and on the Administration’s overall strategy in the region. Our military and allies deserve strong, smart and strategic leadership from Washington.” The Democrat leaders probably had a chat to decide how to make this event into something negative. They really aren’t happy about this and we all should be happy. Think of all his victims, including U.S. journalists like James Foley and the humanitarian Kayla Muller. The source — a State Department veteran — identified Crowdtangle as the tool used to closely watch more than a dozen U.S. citizens, including the president’s son, personal attorney and popular television personalities such as Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham, among others, Judicial Watch reported. Disgraceful former U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, an scumbag/liar-nObama embed, enlisted a Ukraine agency to conduct the unlawful monitoring using the search terms, loose lip liar-Biden, Giuliani, scumbag-Soros, and Yovanovitch, according to a Judicial Watch investigation. This week Judicial Watch filed another FOIA request for information related to the State Department’s use of Crowdtangle. Crowdtangle is used to monitor more than five million social media platforms the Sentinel is one of them. It’s only offered to select groups. A leftwing, scumbag-Soros-funded organization called Social Science Research Center (SSRC) is charged with determining who is granted access to Crowdtangle. Earlier this year Facebook announced that SSRC will pick researchers who will gain access to its cherished “privacy-protected” data. Only SSRC, not Facebook, decides who directs the findings or conclusions of the research. SSCRC’s researchers claim they use the Facebook data to “study the platform’s impact on democracy worldwide.” The nonprofit describes itself as an international organization guided by the belief that “justice, prosperity, and democracy all require better understanding of complex social, cultural, economic, and political processes.” In 2016 scumbag-Soros’s Open Society Foundations gave the SSRC nearly $500,000 for a Latin America human rights and public health initiative and a global “equality and antidiscrimination” program...

Dems' Russia-Collusion Charade — The Criminal InvestigationThomas Gallatin: We learned Thursday that U.S. Attorney John Durham’s Justice Department probe into the origins of the Russia-collusion hoax — a hoax that began as an intelligence investigation known as Crossfire Hurricane — has now become a criminal investigation. As Fox News explains, “The investigation’s new status means Durham can subpoena witnesses, file charges, and impanel fact-finding grand juries.” This is a significant development because it means that Durham has uncovered some form of criminal activity, though exactly what the crime is and the degree and scope of it is not yet known.
This is clearly not the news Democrats, fully invested in their partisan anti-Trump impeachment campaign, wanted to hear. In a joint statement, Democrat House Committee Chairmen scumbag liar-Jerry Nadler (NY) and scumbag-Adam Schiff (CA) responded, “These reports, if true, raise profound new concerns that the Department of Justice under Attorney General William Barr has lost its independence and become a vehicle for President [Donald] Trump’s political revenge. If the Department of Justice may be used as a tool of political retribution, or to help the President with a political narrative for the next election, the rule of law will suffer.”
Noting the irony of scumbag liar-Nadler and scumbag-Schiff’s statement, Mark Alexander comments, “So now that the Mueller investigation built on a partisan deep-state coup collapsed, any criminal investigation into its origins must be partisan. We are in very dangerous territory here with respect to our Constitution and Rule of Law, given that deep-state operatives and the federal government attempted to overthrow the president, and now those who should be, ostensibly, overseeing those agencies have become their protecters.”
Meanwhile, Inspector General Michael Horowitz has completed his investigation into the FBI’s handling of FISA warrants, specifically regarding former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. The investigation was completed weeks ago, but the report has been withheld, creating some speculation as to whether it contains evidence directly connected to Durham’s ongoing and now criminal investigation. Horowitz says his report will be released soon.
Back to Durham’s expanding investigation. It now appears what triggered the probe’s change to a criminal investigation was a recent meeting in Rome, Italy, where Durham and Attorney General William Barr met with “high-level Italian security agents.” Rome is a significant piece in this puzzle due to it being the location where former Trump campaign advisor George Papadopoulos met with Joseph Mifsud, a professor who first told Papadopoulos that the Russians had dirt on scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton. This may have been where a deep-state plot to tie the Russian-collusion hoax to then-candidate Trump was initiated. All roads lead to Rome?
There’s also news that Durham is planning to interview several FBI and CIA officials, which has prompted some to hire attorneys. Furthermore, there’s word that Durham wants to question both former Director of National Intelligence scumbag-James Clapper and former CIA Director scumbag/commie-John Brennan, the latter in particular a key coup co-conspirator.
Finally, Horowitz’s soon-to-be released report may shed more light onto the direction of Durham’s criminal investigation. But all we know now is that Durham’s digging has turned up something criminal, and it appears that some folks are beginning to run for cover. ~The Patriot Post
