Hundreds of migrants try rushing toward California
port of entry, as Trump threatens to close border

{foxnews.com} ~ Images and videos posted on social media Sunday afternoon showed hundreds of migrants from the leading Central American caravan... pushing past Mexican riot police and rushing the border at the port of entry in San Ysidro, Calif., in a major test for both U.S. border authorities and Mexican officials. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said it suspended northbound and southbound crossings for both pedestrians and vehicles at the San Ysidro port of entry at approximately 11:30 a.m. local time. It later tweeted that the pedestrian crossings had re-opened, a little more than four hours after the initial closure. The vehicle lanes re-opened at approximately 5 p.m. local time, five-and-a-half hours after they were closed. CBP added that some demonstrators "attempted to illegally enter the U.S. through both the northbound and southbound vehicle lanes at the port of entry itself. Those persons were stopped and turned back to Mexico." U.S. border agents shot several rounds of tear gas after some migrants attempted to penetrate various points along the border and threw what appeared to be rocks at U.S. authorities...scumbag/clown-Schumer likes 'independent' judiciary,

{wnd.com} ~ The highly partisan Sen. scumbag/clown-Chuck Schumer, leader of the minority Democrats in the U.S. Senate... claimed Friday that he likes the fact that Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts stood up “for an independent judiciary” in an argument with President Trump. Except when Roberts’ decisions are “partisan,” such as his “highly political” rulings in Citizens United and other cases. He drew stunned responses when he said on Twitter: “I don’t agree very often with Chief Justice Roberts, especially his partisan decisions which seem highly political on Citizens United, Janus, and Shelby. But I am thankful today that he – almost alone among Republicans – stood up to President Trump and for an independent judiciary.” The president had been critical of an “scumbag/liar-nObama judge” who blocked his efforts to secure U.S. borders. The judge in question was appointed by scumbag/liar-nObama and determined that the U.S. must allow asylum applications from people who enter the country illegally Roberts responded that there are no “scumbag/liar-nObama judges,” just an independent judiciary, prompting the president to consider the highly partisan 9th Circuit....
House Democrats Put the Brakes
on Trump Impeachment Talks

As House Democrats begin laying out the vision for their new majority, that item is noticeably missing from the to-do list and firmly on the margins. The agenda for now includes spending on public works projects, lowering health care costs and increasing oversight of the administration. It’s the balance that Democratic Leader sick-Nancy Pulosi is trying to strike in the new Congress between those on her party’s left flank who are eager to confront the president, and her instinct to prioritize the kitchen-table promises that Democrats made to voters who elected them to office. “We shouldn’t impeach the president for political reasons and we shouldn’t not impeach the president for political reasons,” sick-Pulosi recently told The Associated Press. The California lawmaker, who hopes to lead Democrats as House speaker come January, calls impeachment a “divisive activity” that needs to be approached with bipartisanship. “If the case is there, then that should be self-evident to Democrats and Republicans,” she said. Those pressing for impeachment acknowledge they don’t expect action on Day One of the new majority, but they do want to see Democrats start laying the groundwork for proceedings...

Former Roger Stone aide Andrew Miller refused to testify before dirty cop-Mueller’s grand jury. He claimed dirty cop-Mueller’s appointment was unconstitutional. “Special Counsel dirty cop-Mueller was required to be appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate under the Appointments Clause as a principal officer. Nor does the designation affect Appellant’s alternative argument that Special Counsel dirty cop-Mueller was required to be appointed as an inferior officer under the Excepting Clause by the then “Head of the Department,” namely, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, rather than by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.” His attorneys did address the fact that since Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker has replaced Sessions, he gets to take over running the dirty cop-Mueller probe instead of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. However, they argued this had no bearing on their case because it did not change the underlying facts that dirty cop-Mueller’s appointment violated the law. by Giulio MeottiAmericans First at USCISby Nate Jackson: “America First” has been President Donald Trump’s message from the beginning, and it’s what resonated with so many voters tired of Democrats putting Americans last. Trump’s message isn’t just a slogan — it’s now part of the mission statement of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service.
Out with the old: “USCIS secures America’s promise as a nation of immigrants by providing accurate and useful information to our customers, granting immigration and citizenship benefits, promoting an awareness and understanding of citizenship, and ensuring the integrity of our immigration system.”
And in with the new: “U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services administers the nation’s lawful immigration system, safeguarding its integrity and promise by efficiently and fairly adjudicating requests for immigration benefits while protecting Americans, securing the homeland, and honoring our values.”
In a memo explaining the change, USCIS Director Lee Cissna wrote, “We are … responsible for ensuring that those who naturalize are dedicated to this country, share our values, assimilate into our communities, and understand their responsibility to help preserve our freedom and liberty.” That’s what U.S. immigration policy should be all about. Americans, by and large, have always welcomed immigrants who love this country and want to make it and themselves better. The problematic ones come in illegally, commit other crimes and create an economic drain by demanding services they don’t pay for. How hard is it to tell the difference when discussing policy? Impossible if you’re a demagoguing Democrat.
In related news, as we reported in January, California is now a “sanctuary” state because Democrats there put illegal aliens first. Trump fired a shot across the bow yesterday, saying the situation is “a disgrace” and that he’d even consider pulling Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) out of the state. “If we ever pulled our ICE out, if we ever said, ‘Hey, let California alone, let them figure it out for themselves,' in two months they’d be begging for us to come back,” the president said. “And you know what? I’m thinking about doing it.” To be sure, this is far more likely Trumpian hyperbole meant to make a point than it is his actual policy recommendation. But it sure does make that point, does it not?
