Barr Unloads On Collusion Conspiracy Theory:
‘This Whole Idea That Trump Was In Cahoots
 With The Russians Is Bogus’
by Madeline Osburn
{thefederalist.com} ~ In an hour-long interview with CBS News’ Jan Crawford released on Friday, Attorney General William Barr reflected on the Russia investigation... the Robert Mueller report, the personal attacks against him, and his career at the Department of Justice. Barr laid into the abuses of power happening among top officials at the FBI, the lack of evidence found by Mueller’s investigation, and the media hypocrisy exposed by coverage of stories like the “appalling” texts between FBI agent lovers Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. “Mueller has spent two and half years and the fact is there is no evidence of a conspiracy,” Barr said. “So it was bogus, this whole idea that the Trump was in cahoots with the Russians is bogus.” Barr has been critiqued for seeking to declassify documents concerning the Russia investigation. He argued that reviewing standards and procedures at the highest levels are an “important way of making sure that government power is being conscientiously and properly applied.” When Crawford asked if he was concerned with bias among FBI investigators, Barr said the Strzok-Page texts were “very damning” and argued that there would be an outrage if the same stunts had been pulled against the scumbag/liar-nObama campaign. “If those kinds of discussions were held, you know, when scumbag/liar-nObama first ran for office, people talking about scumbag/liar-nObama in those tones and suggesting that ‘Oh that he might be a Manchurian candidate for Islam or something like that.’ You know some wild accusations like that, and you had that kind of discussion back and forth, you don’t think we would be hearing a lot more about it?” he asked. When Crawford asked Barr about attacks on his reputation, the attorney general gave a stoic response. “I am at the end of my career,” Barr said. “Everyone dies and I am not, you know, I don’t believe in the Homeric idea that you know, immortality comes by, you know, having odes sung about you over the centuries, you know?”...  https://thefederalist.com/2019/05/31/barr-unloads-collusion-conspir...

Private Group Builds Large
Section of Southern Border Wall
by americanlibertyreport.com:  It’s looking more and more like the one promise President Trump won’t be able to deliver by the next election is a functioning border wall. It’s hard to call this his failure... He’s done everything possible to move the ball forward on the issue. The Democrats just won’t budge. Fighting the wall is and has been their top priority, and they’ve killed every effort to make it happen, so far. In response liberals stonewalling, a group of citizens have moved forward with a private sector solution to the border wall. You might have heard about this. Last December, when it became clear that the Democrats in the Senate were going to kill any and all funding for a border wall, a group of American citizens decided to get proactive. They started a GoFundMe campaign, and they promised that the money would go toward building a privately funded border wall. In hindsight, the intentions might have been better than the actual plan. When GoFundMe investigated the cause, they decided, all on their own, that it didn’t have a chance to succeed. GoFundMe mandated a full refund of all donations, and at the time of this writing, it’s the largest refund in GoFundMe history. The company could have asked the organizers to draft a better plan. Instead they decided that pandering to the political left was the better move. The GoFundMe organizers were not discouraged. They regrouped and founded a nonprofit company to carry out the plan. This required a bit more organization. More importantly, they had the freedom to handle their own financial contributions. Tech companies could no longer unilaterally kill the movement... What are the dems doing, not a dam thing. They all need to be defeated in 2020.

commie-Sanders Asked Bill Kristol
to Apologize for Pushing the Iraq War
by Jon Schwarz
{theintercept.com} ~ On Memorial day weekend, Sen. commie-Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., got into an online tussle about the Iraq War with Bill Kristol... No one outside of the inner circle of the George W. Bush administration bears greater responsibility for the war than Kristol. He co-founded a think tank whose purpose was to make the case for war, wrote a book and dozens of articles calling for an invasion, and appeared constantly on TV explaining why it had to happen. After Kristol attacked commie-Sanders’s foreign policy acumen, commie-Sanders asked him, “Have you apologized to the nation for your foolish advocacy of the Iraq war?” Here’s what Kristol said: Kristol’s response is particularly striking because on March 28, 2003, just 10 days after the U.S.-led coalition invaded Iraq, he appeared on C-SPAN and made a great show of being “happy to be held to a moral standard” if his predictions about the war were wrong. Specifically, Kristol said, the grounds for war would be grievously weakened if Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction; or Iraqis did not treat the U.S. as a liberating force; or the U.S. did not leave behind a democratic government. Of course, none of those things happened. Kristol’s entire performance that day was a masterpiece of prevarication and bad faith. But 16 years later, as seen in edited highlights below, his most egregious lie is his pretense that he would ever be willing to be held accountable for his actions. I would be shocked if we don’t find weapons of mass destruction, and I think that is one of the main rationales for the war. … I expect us to find them and if we don’t find them, that would undercut in part the rationale for the war. … Obviously that would be a great blow if Saddam has not been developing weapons of mass destruction. … I would agree that if after the war, we aren’t treated more or less as a liberating force, then that would also be a rebuke to the Bush administration and to those of us who counseled that this war was just and necessary. I accept the possibility that I’m wrong. …

Qatari Funding of Tariq Ramadan,
European Islamist Networks
by Hany Ghoraba
meforum.org } ~ Originally published under the title "When It Comes to the Muslim Brotherhood, There's No Such Thing as a 'Moderate'." ...Tariq Ramadan, the Swiss-born Muslim thinker and Oxford academic... was widely held up as an influential religious moderate before his 2017 arrest for rape. Perhaps it is this image of sage disinterestedness that makes it all the more shocking when a prominent religious voice is found to be on someone's payroll. But with Ramadan, it should come as less of a surprise. The grandson of Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Ramadan has long been accused of a pro-Brotherhood agenda by researchers and anti-Brotherhood activists. Now, new research has revealed that Ramadan was being lavishly funded by Qatar, the Brotherhood's chief patron. Qatar's powerful state-development organization, the Qatar Foundation, was paying Ramadan for "consulting" to the tune of 35,000 euros a month. The latest scandal implicating the Islamist ideologue was revealed by a new book, Qatar Papers, by French investigative journalists Georges Malbrunot and Christian Chesnot. Based on extensive bank records the authors received on a USB stick from a whistleblower, the book revealed that Ramadan was on the payroll of the Qatari regime for years. Qatari money would fund his purchase of two swanky apartments in Paris, among other things. Ramadan's  ties to Qatar are extensive; he was visiting professor at the Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Doha, and director of the Qatar Foundation-backed Research Centre for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE) in Doha, Qatar. He was also president of the pro-Qatari think tank European Muslim Network (EMN) in Brussels. Furthermore, Ramadan was a member of the Qatari-funded and Muslim-Brotherhood-run International Union of Muslim Scholars, which until recently was headed by the Muslim Brotherhood's "spiritual leader" Yusuf al-Qaradawi...  https://www.meforum.org/58635/tariq-ramadans-qatar-links-exposed?ut...

Democrats Must Stop Living in a Fantasy World
by Rich Logis

americanthinker.com } ~ Remember the 1998 film The Truman Show, when Jim Carrey was actually a good actor? When his character, Truman Burbank, discovers that his entire life had been scripted for television from birth, he forgoes his life of fantasy for reality...
From teeth cleanings to haircuts to sniffing hair to cracking open beers in your kitchen to men kissing their "husbands," Democrats have created for their voters a world where truth and reality are indefinitely suspended, supplanted by fairy tales. Yes, all the world's a stage, and the men and women in it mere players, and irrespective of influence and propaganda, adults are responsible for their own actions and decisions. But the Democrat delusions of grandeur pervasive throughout the republic — buttressed by lies, conspiracy theories, and myths that the DMIC (Democrat Media Industrial Complex) rarely challenge — are dangerous and deadly. Men are women. scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton won the 2016 presidential election. Inequality is the new equality. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. On and on. Democrats live in a politically manufactured world akin to Truman Burbank's reality TV world. Are Democrats incapable of recognizing truth when they see it? I've long said Democrats don't actually believe the bull dung they peddle, whether it be "fundamental transformation," "democratic socialism," or "it takes a village." What if I'm mistaken, however?   The only people who frighten me more than those who don't believe the nonsense coming out of their mouths are the ones who do...  https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/06/democrats_must_sto...

What's More Expensive: Tariffs or Illegals?
Thomas Gallatin:  How much does illegal immigration cost American taxpayers every year? Some estimates put that total conservatively at $116 billion annually for housing, education, healthcare, etc. And with the humanitarian crisis on our border exploding, as a growing number of Central and South American migrant caravans cross through Mexico on their way to the U.S. southern border, the costs are increasing exponentially.

President Donald Trump upped the pressure on the Mexican government to stop the flow of migrants by announcing a 5% tariff on all goods from Mexico.

The president explained: “For decades, the United States has suffered the severe and dangerous consequences of illegal immigration. Sadly, Mexico has allowed this situation to go on for many years… From a safety, national security, military, economic, and humanitarian standpoint, we cannot allow this grave disaster to continue. The current state of affairs is profoundly unfair to the American taxpayer, who bears the extraordinary financial cost imposed by large-scale illegal migration. Even worse is the terrible and preventable loss of human life. Mexico must step up and help solve this problem… my highest duty is the defense of the country and its citizens. A nation without borders is not a nation at all. I will not stand by and allow our sovereignty to be eroded, our laws to be trampled, or our borders to be disrespected anymore.”

Trump further noted the toll of illegal immigration on Americans, stating: “Thousands of innocent lives are taken every year as a result of this lawless chaos. It must end NOW! … Mexico’s passive cooperation in allowing this mass incursion constitutes an emergency and extraordinary threat to the national security and economy of the United States.”

Trump said the tariff would remain “until such time as illegal migrants coming through Mexico, and into our Country, STOP.” The tariffs are set to begin on June 10. Trump added, “The Tariff will gradually increase until the Illegal Immigration problem is remedied … at which time the Tariffs will be removed.”

The president is exactly right in his criticisms. And we’d argue that concerns about the cost of new tariffs are significantly outweighed by the annual cost of illegal immigration. In fact, were the flow of illegals through Mexico into the U.S. to stop, it would present significant savings for taxpayers.

Mexico’s socialist president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (nicknamed AMLO), a disciple of Fidel Castro, Daniel Ortega and Hugo Chávez, responded to Trump with this collectivist claptrap: “‘America First’ is a fallacy because until the end of times, even beyond national borders, justice and universal fraternity will prevail. … Social problems are not solved with duties or coercive measures.” We’ll see.

However, there actually are questions as to how effectively the Mexican government can act to stop the flow of illegals, as human trafficking has become a lucrative industry of the powerful drug cartels. Meanwhile, in the U.S., Trump has been repeatedly hindered in his efforts to secure the southern border by the Democrat cartel of politicians, activist judges, and Leftmedia fake news. Trump’s latest action is a new tactic to get around the Democrats’ roadblock.  ~The Patriot Post

Gohmert: Dems Will Drag Out Impeachment — Try To Get ‘Best Socialist’ Nominated For President

During an appearance on Huntsville, AL radio’s WVNN on Thursday, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) offered his best assessment of what House Democrats were trying to accomplish with their impeachment efforts.

Gohmert told WVNN’s “The Jeff Poor Show” impeachment could tie up the Democratic Party’s presidential campaign efforts but predicted Democrats would use the occasion to nominate “the best socialist” they can.

“They would lose in the Senate,” Gohmert said on impeachment. “And besides that, the entire time it was on trial in the Senate, the Democrats who are running for president wouldn’t be allowed to campaign. That’s in the Constitution. They wouldn’t be able to campaign. I just can’t imagine them wanting to do that because if they send it to the Senate, they have now perfectly set up the scenario of 1996, where they will reassure Donald Trump is reelected as president. They don’t want to do that. They’re probably going to drag this thing out as long as they possibly can … through Iowa, through primaries — try to get the best socialist they can to be nominated.”

“Then just end up and say, ‘Now we’re close enough to the general election. We’ve thrown mud at the president through the House,’” he continued. “What they’re really doing — they’re using taxpayer funds to campaign against Trump. That’s all this is — a campaign fund that taxpayers are paying for in order to try to throw mud at the president. I’ll be surprised if they have that vote, but I can’t imagine they want to set up this president for reelection by having a trial in the Senate where they lose.”
