Senate Reveals Latest Health Plan; Is It DOA?
Senate Republicans released their revised plan for replacing liar-nObamaCare on Thursday, and it now awaits analysis by the Congressional Budget Office before a vote possibly next week. The questions began immediately — specifically whether it has enough Republican votes (hint: probably not). Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT) guardedly offered support given that the legislation contains a version of an amendment they presented. The Cruz-Lee amendment would allow insurance companies to offer "bare-bones" plans that don't meet the current "Affordable" Care Act's comprehensive coverage requirements as long as they also offered plans that did. Cruz did warn, however, that the bill "will not have the votes to go forward if there are not meaningful protections for consumer freedom that significantly lower premiums." Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) opposes the bill, calling it "liar-nObamaCare Lite."
Meanwhile, several centrist Republicans have threatened to pull their support even though their demands have been met. Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), for example, always the thorn in conservatives' sides, has declared her opposition. And several Republicans have begun discussions with Democrats on working toward a bipartisan health plan, which is sure to only increase the tension between conservative and centrist Republicans. Not to mention that Democrats have no intention of fixing anything, let alone repealing it. So what's in the plan, known as the Better Care Reconciliation Act (BCRA)?
Like the House Republicans' plan, the Senate bill eliminates the liar-nObamaCare mandate, freeing individuals to opt out of purchasing health insurance. Instead, it incentivizes people to retain an insurance plan or face paying higher premiums upon returning. It keeps guaranteed insurance for those with pre-existing conditions, a concession to political reality. It repeals taxes on prescription and over-the-counter drugs and medical devises, though in another concession to the moderates, it retains liar-nObamaCare's 3.8% tax on investment income — a tax-and-spend provision to fund subsidies. The Senate bill offers one particularly intriguing element: allowing Americans to pay health insurance premiums using pre-tax income via health savings accounts. Best of all, the GOP bill brings desperately needed reforms to Medicaid, granting individual states greater control over how to best spend federal funds, as well as addressing inequity concerns with federal payouts for the program. The Wall Street Journal argues that this reform is "the main reason it is still worth passing," because the spending "discipline will save $772 billion over 10 years."
It still looks like the tug-of-war to repeal and replace liar-nObamaCare is far from over. Is it a perfect plan? By no means, but it is indeed a step in the right direction, out of that burning building known as liar-nObamaCare. Once again — and it can't be emphasized enough — Republicans are trying to clean up a Democrat-created disaster that has massively damaged the American health care system.

RUSSIAN Lawyer Veselnitskaya Tells
Her RIDICULOUS Story to NBC Fake News
by Rick Wells
{} ~ The NBC reporter calls it a fascinating story that Natalia Veselnitskaya is telling, incredible may be closer to the truth... He relays her account of the events, saying she received a phone call from a man she didn’t know and was told to come to Trump Tower to meet with the Trump campaign. This, we are supposed to believe happened out of the blue and a woman, who was familiar with Russian ways, which include elimination, did as she was instructed. There was no question as to how they got her number, knew who she was or anything like that. No question as to why she was still in the United States when her immigration parole arranged by Loretta Lynch expired in January. There’s also no accounting for the contradiction between her story and the email copies released by Don Jr. which show advance planning from the week prior and claims that she was in Moscow. How would someone who couldn’t qualify for a visa the first time receive one to meet with a candidate’s son?”...
The Senate Health-Care Bill
Is a Step in the Right Direction
{} ~ Congressional Republicans should stop calling their health-care bills a repeal of liar-nObamacare. The House bill is not one — it keeps liar-nObamacare’s regulatory heart... and the Senate bill is even less of one now that it has been amended to keep some of liar-nObamacare’s most economically destructive tax increases. And because the bill is not a real repeal, people will face some combination of higher premiums, co-payments, and deductibles than they otherwise would. Moderate Republicans, who said for years that they wanted to repeal liar-nObamacare but apparently never thought through what repeal would entail, are mostly to blame for these disappointing facts. Republicans have failed to make good on their promises. But there are two further questions that conservatives should ask about the legislation. The first is whether the bill, disappointing as it is, represents a substantial improvement over the status quo. The second is whether modifying the bill in a House–Senate conference would be likely to yield better results than letting it die. In both cases, we think the answer is yes...
RINO-McCain Busted Trying to Frame Trump
For Horrifying Crime. Should RINO-McCain Resign?
by Nikki Schwab
{} ~ Sen. John RINO-McCain said he did 'what any citizen would do' in turning over the dirty dossier, which contained unconfirmed secrets about the president-elect, over to the FBI... The Guardian charted the path of how the dossier came to be and how it was that RINO-McCain got his hands on the controversial documents. The story of the dossier began with an investigative firm in Washington, D.C., being tapped by one of Trump's primary allies to dig up some opposition research on the Republican hopeful...
No, Eberwein Wasn’t Killed Because He
Was About To Spill The liar-Clinton Beans
by Rick Wells
{} ~ While there is plenty of historical evidence that associates of the liar-Clintons have an extremely high probability of committing suicide... even through impossible measures such as multiple gunshots, the evidence in this case is not even close to being real or accurate. The apparently false implication in two videos, one by “Headlines With a Voice,” citing a “Your Daily Newswire” article and another that appears to be Mike Cernovich taking their exaggerated content and repackaging it into his own video without sources, is that a Haitian man who was recently found with a gunshot wound to the head was actually a victim of liar-Clinton foul play. Since all of the information is basically the same in the three products, we’ll treat them as one. They describe deceased Klaus Eberwein as “a former Haitian government official who was expected to expose the extent of liar-Clinton Foundation corruption and malpractice next week.”...
Jesse Jackson – Civil Rights Means
Calling A Loss “Stealing The Election”
by Rick Wells
{} ~ At what point does one make the transition from being a civil rights leader to just being a complaining, whining, self-serving trouble maker?... Or is the only distinction between the two the level of legitimacy of one’s complaints, with the behavior never actually changing in recognition of progress. John Lewis and Elijah Cummings come to mind, as well as Jesse “Mumbles” Jackson. That’s the great lie of the progressives, as far as their attaining their goal and no longer needing to create chaos and foment discord and distrust, they never move “forward.” They’re always complaining that things aren’t equal when that’s the nature of life. They never will be. And their leaders know that but it’s a tool to create division and that is how they accumulate and wield their power...
Trying to scare us isn't working anymore
by Alicia Colon
{} ~ It wasn't until I read Myrna Blyth's excellent book, Spin Sisters that I started paying attention to the motives behind the articles I was reading in those women's magazines we get at the supermarket.

As a stay-at-home Mom raising six children, I bought them for helpful hints at coping with parenting and daily housekeeping. More and more, however, they carried warnings about everything from the foods we eat to the air we breathe. Having grown up during the Cold War, I can recognize Marxist propaganda anywhere telling me what to do in spite of cold hard facts.

Hello, junk science.

I've known what real fear is since early childhood.

As a first grader, our class was issued metal dog tags that would help identify our bodies after a nuclear attack by the Russians.

We had monthly air raid drills where hiding under our desks was supposed to protect us. All of us here living in New York City knew we would be the primary target so the sky every night was filled with searchlights scanning it for hostile planes.

The city would regularly schedule city-wide air raid drills where streets would be emptied as residents sought shelter in subways.

The next morning the newspapers would have front page photos of a deserted city looking like a ghost town. We also learned a lot in parochial school about communism and what it was like living under its rule.

Neighbors spied and reported on neighbors in exchange for better living conditions. The newspapers spewed propaganda for the Politburo and dissenters received punishment or were banished.

The truth could only be heard via covert radio transmissions from Voice of America.

I don't remember being scared to death at the possibility of nuclear annihilation because for anyone brought up with a spiritual background, death is inevitable but not always the end.

For those, without such a comforting buffer, felt doomed as doomed could be. Most of these denizens apparently ended up in Hollywood so the late 50's and 60's were chock full of improbable disaster films generated by apocalyptic delusions.

Giant tomatoes, malignant red blobs, unrecognizable huge animals, and mutant beings wreaked havoc on the frightened masses awaiting rescue.

Chicken Little Hollywood hasn't changed very much since then and we have been bombarded with continual end-of-life as we know it feature films.

What's next from Hollywood, Soylent Green 2? Now these frightened denizens are now residing in a political fantasy realm.

These intellectually barren demagogues believe all Americans are as brainless as Ray Bolger in the Wizard of Oz but we 'deplorables' who voted for Trump are not the ones cerebrally challenged.

We're not the ones who've fallen for the biggest disaster hoax of all time-global warming. Nope. Our brains are working as fine as our president's and when we read that none of Al Gore's Inconvenient Truths have come true; that the polar bears are thriving; the earth's ozone layer is repairing itself and that some animals are being removed from the endangered lists, we have to restrain ourselves from shouting ---"Told you so."

Kudos to Turkey's president for telling the truth about the Paris Accord.

According to a recent Reuters report, its president, Recep Erdogan, admits the only reason for being in the Paris Climate Treaty was to get money from the U.S. and other more wealthy nations.

Now that the U.S. has pulled out of the treaty, there's no reason to expect the financial benefits.

Erdogan said that France had promised that Turkey would receive compensation for any green developments but since the U.S. pulled out, his parliament wouldn't approve the treaty.

We the dumb-witted deplorables, along with our president, always knew that the Paris Treaty had nothing to do with climate change but was a redistribution scam of our economic wealth.

Green used to be a beautiful color but now that word induces a Pavlovian eye roll response whenever I hear it being used for the environment.

What used to be called global warming has now been euphemized as climate change. Well, of course the climate always changes but to make it scary, we have to be warned about rising seas that will engulf the big cities unless we do something about it; like recycling, stop eating meat and driving gas guzzling cars, and other worthless endeavors. Even Stephen Hawking the famed physicist has piped up with this ridiculous warning: By exiting the Paris climate deal, the president could render Earth uninhabitable. Guess Mr. Hawking has had his computer or his brain hacked.

Clean air and clean safe water should be our main concern but the scaremongers are everywhere. Now that the rational climate skeptics are finally being heard from, the next alarm that must be spread is Russia meddling in the Trump administration.

Anytime a newsman or politician brings up Russia and Trump, you can be sure, they are either mentally deficient or Democrats.

I have no problem with any investigation into any Russia meddling but unless investigations include the very real collusion of Russia with liar-Hillary Clinton and the DNC, there is no there there. The fact that Donald Trump Jr. met with a Russian lawyer as a private citizen in 2016 is nothing compared to Hillary Clinton and her tenure at the State Department which secured dubious donations to the liar-Clinton Foundation.

liar-Hillary Clinton's State Department was one of nine agencies that approved a deal that gave Russia rights to 20 percent of the U.S. uranium production capacity. The company involved with the Russian deal is owned by Frank Giustra, a Canadian and major donor to the liar-Clinton Foundation.

The Washington Post and the NY Times have tried to pooh-pooh this deal and the 500K fee for Bill liar-Clinton's speech in Moscow from a bank connected with the Kremlin but we dimwits know better than the leftist media.

What I find really terrifying about what's happened to this country is the lack of rational thought behind so many people willing to ignore the past. The fact that so many voters were devastated by liar-Hillary Clinton losing the race is mind boggling.

Did they really forget how the liar-Clintons behaved in the White House? Could anything Donald Trump do or say in his entire life be as bad as a president dropping his drawers in front of a young intern in the Oval Office? liar-Clinton and Gore took money from Communist China for their reelection campaign in 1996 in exchange for waiving security measures.

As co-president with liar-Bill, liar-Hillary failed miserably at everything she tried to do because of her arrogance and incompetence yet these voters wanted them back. Unbelievable!

Actually, I'm not that scared anymore because in 2016, the deplorables beat out the Never-Trumpers, snowflakes, RINO's and the lamestream media and voted to make America sane again and great. Now we have to pray that our president Donald Trump can withstand the slings and arrows thrown at him from NY, LA and DC and that providence will continue to guide and protect him. MAGA.

Romney Handed Shock
Defeat By Own State’s GOP

Mitt Romney is back in state politics, this time in Utah instead of Massachusetts. However, conservatives in The Beehive State aren’t exactly warming up to the 2012 Republican standard-bearer quite the way many people expected they would.

After finishing second in votes at the state GOP convention, Romney will now face a primary in his run for the Senate seat being vacated by Orrin Hatch, Fox News reported.

At the convention in West Valley City on Saturday, Romney polled just behind state lawmaker Mike Kennedy.

Kennedy captured 50.18 percent of the delegate vote compared to Romney’s 49.12 percent.

That means the two will face off in a primary on June 26 to determine who will represent the GOP this fall.

Romney, the first Mormon to head a major party ticket, is considered an extremely popular figure in Utah and was widely expected to have an easy path to the upper chamber.

In a hypothetical matchup with Democrat Jenny Wilson, at least one poll showed Romney up by 46 percent. That’s, uh, slightly more than the margin of error.

However, among party loyalists, Romney isn’t exactly viewed with unalloyed fondness.

The 2012 presidential nominee was always known for being decidedly moderate, particularly on issues of immigration and global trade. There was also the fact that he ran a campaign so bumbling that it almost made Michael Dukakis look good.

And then there was Romney’s war of words with Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign, which likely led many to perceive he secretly wished Hillary Clinton would take the Oval Office.

Trump would later consider Romney as a secretary of state pick, although how serious the president-elect was about appointing him is something we’ll likely never know.

While your average Utah Republican is unlikely to let these slights affect their vote, hardcore party activists probably don’t want another RINO who isn’t exactly known for his rapport with the president in the upper chamber of Congress, no matter how famous he may be.

For his part, Romney tried to put a good spin on the humiliation.

“I’m delighted with the outcome. Did very, very well,” he told KSTU. “On to a good, important primary ahead. This is terrific for the people of Utah.”

Dude, you just lost to a guy nobody has ever heard of. However, Kennedy was happy with the results, and unlike Romney, he had good reason to be.

“I’m a candidate with a compelling life story and a unique set of life circumstances I’d like to use to serve the people of Utah,” Kennedy said.

I have no idea what that story or those circumstances are, but I think the key point here is that he’s not Mitt Romney. If he wants to win, that’s pretty much what he should be focusing on. I can see the billboards now. “Mike Kennedy: Not Mitt Romney.” “Mike Kennedy: He didn’t borrow Ward Cleaver’s haircut.” “Mike Kennedy: Because Utah deserves a senator whose favorite food isn’t buttered noodles.”

Utah’s electorate tends to be less conservative than convention-goers, so it’s unlikely that Romney won’t be the GOP nominee for Senate. However, that’s not a 100 percent certainty — and it wouldn’t be the first time he’s lost to a Kennedy.

What do you think?
