{rickwells.us} ~ It’s now official, cross-dressing men demanding to be treated as if they are women and women who wish they were dudes and insist that they be recognized as such will not be able to join any branches of the United States military... President Donald Trump signed a directive to that effect on Friday, banning transgender recruits from the military. In doing so he also removed the primary attraction for them joining the military in the first place, the prospect of taxpayer-funded “lopitoffofme” or “stickoneontome” surgery. Hormone and other medications to help reduce the appearance of being their birth gender appear to also be on the chopping block, as the memo broadly prohibits the Pentagon from spending resources on “gender transition treatments.”... http://rickwells.us/trump-officially-bans-transgender-military-recruits-taxpayer-funded-treatments/

{lifezette.com} ~ The National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC) is a task force the National Security Council commissioned to review and evaluate a long list of ways the federal government determines how to secure critical infrastructure... such as dams, bridges, power grids, and airports — against targeted cyberattacks. The advisory council garnered headlines this week from the media for joining other councils in having members resign after several weeks of controversy dogged the White House. Less covered and of more importance to the nation was the first report the council issued this week — which generated little attention. The report calls for the Trump administration to decisively act on a set of bold cybersecurity measures they claim must be put in place immediately in order to avoid a 9/11-class cyberattack... https://www.lifezette.com/polizette/trump-advisory-council-warns-of-9-11-level-cyber-attack/

{theresurgent.com} ~ The Federalist is reporting that Sebastian Gorka, one of Steve Bannon’s acolytes, has resigned his position as Deputy Assistant to President Trump... In a blunt resignation letter, the national security and counterterrorism expert expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of the Trump administration. “Given recent events, it is clear to me that forces that do not support the MAGA promise are – for now – ascendant within the White House,” Gorka wrote. “As a result, the best and most effective way I can support you, Mr. President, is from outside the People’s House.”... http://theresurgent.com/gorka-is-out-at-the-white-house-leaving-trumps-maga-team-in-the-hands-of-liberals/

{fee.org} ~ Rosario is Argentina's second oldest city. Located by the Paraná river, it is the home of hard-working people, a busy port, the national flag memorial, and the country's bitterest football rivalry between Rosario Central and Newell's Old Boys... It is also the birthplace of Ernesto “Ché” Guevara. In the last fifteen years or so, coincidentally with the rise of leftist populism in Argentina and the rest of South America, there have been plenty of tributes to the figure of “Ché.” All of these tributes are state-financed, one way or another. The most prominent is a 13-foot high statue placed in a public square. Fundación Bases has its main headquarters in Rosario. Teaming up with the Naumann Foundation, we decided to launch a campaign to remove all the state tributes to “Ché” Guevara. We knew this would generate controversy but, honestly, we didn't expect the level of reaction that has occurred... https://fee.org/articles/removing-statues-of-violent-bigots-start-with-che/?utm_source=heritagefoundation&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=theinsider&mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiTURFeFlUVXpZak13WkdKayIsInQiOiIyN3NEemNiRzcyRnBVaGlqYjB3MFJ6YTlSQ3ZqejVCS05qMkZyNlRzbDdsc1B2c1l0aVwveUd2amxqWno2Rkp0c2JjSXI0bXYrYW44NmpjVDJ6clJxNmliRGwyMGw0ekU2VlwvWlJKNitIc2k0NnR3UktyRWdQd096TDVTRnR3dUVRIn0%3D

{townhall.com} ~ "Today, President Donald J. Trump granted a Presidential pardon to Joe Arpaio, former Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona. Arpaio’s life and career, which began at the age of 18 when he enlisted in the military after the outbreak of the Korean War, exemplify selfless public service. After serving in the Army, Arpaio became a police officer in Washington, D.C. and Las Vegas, NV and later served as a Special Agent for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), formerly the Bureau of Narcotics. After 25 years of admirable service, Arpaio went on to lead the DEA’s branch in Arizona," the White House released Friday. "In 1992, the problems facing his community pulled Arpaio out of retirement to return to law enforcement. He ran and won a campaign to become Sheriff of Maricopa County. Throughout his time as Sheriff, Arpaio continued his life’s work of protecting the public from the scourges of crime and illegal immigration. Sheriff Joe Arpaio is now eighty-five years old, and after more than fifty years of admirable service to our Nation, he is worthy candidate for a Presidential pardon."
"Given Sherriff Arpaio’s extraordinary life of public service, including in the military, the President didn’t believe that subjecting a man to a conviction and potential prison term for enforcing federal immigration law was appropriate," the statement continued. "The President did not make this decision lightly. He considered all the circumstances surrounding this case, including the fact that Sherriff Arpaio is 85 years old and had served in the military, the DEA and as a sheriff for five decades."
Arpaio served as Sheriff for Arizona's Maricopa County from 1993 to 2016 and was regularly re-elected with heavily majorities until his departure last year. He is known for his tough stance on illegal immigration and infamously made inmates wear pink underwear during his tenure.
During the 2016 presidential election, Arpaio endorsed then candidate Donald Trump for his stance on illegal immigration. Before the election, Arpaio and Trump worked together in pursuit of President liar-nObama's birth certificate.
