French “Infidels” Protest Against
Muslim Street Prayers Blocking Roads
{rickwells.us} ~ Things became heated Friday as French citizens and city officials in Paris suburb of Clichy-la-Garenne confronted Muslims... who have taken it upon themselves to pray in the streets, blocking the roads and making a general nuisance of themselves. The problem is described as a shortage of Mosques but could more accurately be characterized as there being too many Islamists. Mayor Remi Muzeau, carrying a large banner that read “Stop Illegal Street Prayers,” led over a hundred demonstrators on Friday in an effort to convince Muslims not to pray in the town’s market square. It’s something the Islamists have been doing to attract attention and inconvenience the infidels since March when the facility they had been renting from the city was converted into a public library...  https://rickwells.us/french-protest-muslim-street/

"Sword of Allah"? Let Him In!
by Douglas Murray
{gatestoneinstitute.org} ~ It is only eight weeks since an 18-year old Iraqi-born man walked onto the London Underground and left a bomb on the District line... Fortunately for the rush-hour commuters and school children on that train, the detonating device went off without managing to set off the bomb itself. Had the device worked, the many passengers who suffered life-changing burns would instead have been among many other people taken away in body bags. Ahmed Hassan came to the UK illegally in 2015 and was subsequently provided with foster care by the British government. He has now been charged, and is awaiting trial, for causing an explosion and attempted murder...  https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/11338/sword-of-islam-sayfullo

Steve King Not Falling For
Democrat, RINO Set Up Of Judge Roy Moore
{rickwells.us} ~ Rep Steve King is a staunch conservative and nobody’s fool. He’s not about to go along with the establishment crowd... as they and the Democrats once again spring a last minute sex trap on their opposition. He still remembers a little over a year ago, when the same Democrats repeatedly pulled the same stunts on candidate Trump. In a tweet he sent out late Thursday, Rep King said those weak-kneed political lightweights who were running like a scalded cat from Judge Roy Moore following the dubious Washington Times article were the ones “who won’t or can’t help move President Donald Trump’s agenda.” He alluded to a group of RINO Senators by linking to a Breitbart article critical of Mitch McConnell (R-KY), RINO-Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), RINO-Jeff Flake (R-AZ), RINO-Susan Collins (ME) and Rob Portman (R-OH). All of them were quick to attack Judge Moore... https://rickwells.us/steve-king-roy-moore/

Big questions are now arising about
Roy Moore’s main accuser Leigh Corfman
by Scott Morefield

{bizpacreview.com} ~ Leigh Corfman, who says she was 14 years old when then 32 year-old assistant district attorney Roy Moore initiated a sexual encounter with her... has a troubled past of her own that could very well speak to her credibility as an accuser. Especially as she decided to make the accusation 39 years after the alleged incident and days before a crucial Senate campaign. Author and Newsmax columnist James Hirsen put it this way: “Purportedly Moore’s main accuser Leigh Corfman has had three divorces, filed for bankruptcy three times, and has been charged with multiple misdemeanors. Posts on Moore’s FB page indicate that Corfman, has claimed several pastors at various churches made sexual advances at her.”... http://www.bizpacreview.com/2017/11/11/big-questions-now-arising-ro...

Judicial Watch Forced To Sue Sessions
For Secret Price Tag Of Mueller Witch Hunt
{rickwells.us} ~ As is usually the case with the obstructive and apparently corrupt Justice Department of Attorney General Jeff Sessions... transparency is a word that is only used to describe their windows, and most of them are one-way, mirror finished. Any request for information is ignored and forces a lawsuit. One question that has yet to be asked or answered is how much money is Sessions wasting on attorneys fighting against the American people? How much time and money could be saved if he weren’t conducting the Justice Department in secret, like it and the FBI are branches of the CIA and the American people are their enemy? This time Sessions is forcing Judicial Watch to sue for information as to the cost of the Mueller witch hunt and the budget of Robert Mueller. DOJ has not responded to a July 10, 2017 Judicial Watch request for  information despite the fact that it’s our money. Now he’s going to spend more of our money trying to hide it from us. It’s our money, we should be able to know how much of it is being flushed down the toilet, and theoretically, doesn’t he still work for us?...  https://rickwells.us/judicial-sue-sessions-mueller/

My Last Word On Roy Moore

by streiff
{redstate.com} ~ I don’t live in Alabama but if I did, based on what I know right now, I’d happily vote for Roy Moore for Senate next month.

Yesterday, the Washington Post broke a story in which it alleges that in 1979 Roy Moore inappropriately touched a 14-year-old girl and kissed one or more women who were aged 16-18. Everyone, particularly Mitch McConnell and his allies who are still butt-hurt over Moore wiping the floor with them in the GOP primary and that growing caucus in the GOP that seems intent upon breaking its own ribs patting itself on the back over its righteousness are demanding Roy Moore “step aside.”

What his accusers are doing is parroting the star chamber procedures used on today’s college campuses in similar cases–a situation I’d mistakenly believed conservatives opposed. Once the accusation is made, guilt is decided. There is no need for inquiry or evidence. Just the accusation and a wild chant “believe women.” Hell, there are people out there who still believe Anita Hill so this is not surprising. It is more than a little surprising to find conservatives trying to lead the lynch mob.

There is really no reason that we are obliged to believe this story. Indeed, there are lots of reasons why we should look askance at it. It dates from 1979. Roy Moore has been on the ballot in Alabama several times and involved in all manner of controversies and the fact that it hasn’t come out before now leads me to say that a person’s word today is simply not good enough.

Anyone who tries to tie this to Bill Clinton is simply being disingenuous. None of Clinton’s accusers waited 40 years. None of the cases against Clinton were ambiguous. We actually had the DNA sample for crying out loud. Clinton actually paid a cash settlement to Paula Jones and was disbarred. If there is a takeaway from Bill Clinton’s escapades here it is that it is that we were told, mainly by the same people on their high horse over Roy Moore, that it is morally illegitimate to criticize a politician over his private morality.

The analogies to Harvey Weinstein are also nonsense. You can actually think it is wrong to rape someone (like Rose McGowan) and at the same time be skeptical about a 40-year-old claim about something that is definitely not rape. I know there are all kinds of reasons that someone might wait this long to make their claim, not all of those reasons have to do with fear or embarrassment.

If you want to condemn Moore based on this, well that’s your right. I’m not going to argue this with anyone because if you’ve already decided Moore is guilty then we have nothing to talk about. If you want to say I’m a bad person, knock yourself out I really don’t care. The adulation of people I don’t know is not one of my motivators.

But if you are saying Moore is guilty then don’t do it with blinders on and think this is not the way elections are not going to be run in the future. There is no politician that is not vulnerable to this kind of an attack where the only proof that is needed is the accusation itself.

So this is my last word on Roy Moore. I’ll be happy to revisit my opinion if actual evidence emerges and/or if we see, a la Harvey Weinstein, a battalion of 14-year-old victims coming forward to show this was a pattern Moore established over a period of years. But until such time I’m done with listening to the attacks on Moore or taking seriously most of the people making them.

Clinton Donor And Tax Cheat Tied To Russia

“Do as we say, not as we do.”

That seems to be the slogan for Hillary Clinton and her political allies, and it’s especially apt in light of new information about one of Clinton’s largest campaign donors.

While the left is still trying to attack President Trump and his family over unproven business dealings and largely debunked connections to Russia, a new report indicates that it was Hillary Clinton’s team who were doing those exact things.

“Fox News has learned that one of the top donors to the ‘Hillary Victory Fund’ (HVF) in 2016 was a Los Angeles-based attorney who is alleged to have misused company funds to create his own $22 million real estate portfolio,” that outlet reported on Thursday.

“He has also been considered by California to be one of the state’s biggest tax cheats, and allegedly has ties to the (Russian) Kremlin,” Fox continued.

The man’s name is Edgar Sargsyan. His deep pockets greatly benefited Clinton’s campaign, with contributions of at least $250,000 to the Hillary Victory Fund in 2016.

He was also in charge of an elite fundraising dinner to benefit Clinton, where donors paid $100,000 per couple just to attend the ritzy event. But in true Clinton fashion, the money apparently went missing.

Sargsyan is now “being sued by his former company for allegedly diverting those funds to start his own real estate company,” according to Fox.

Now, people are asking hard questions about Clinton’s buddy Sargsyan, including whether his contributions were part of a pay-to-play scheme and if he had shady connections to foreign governments.

“Nobody gave to the Hillary Victory Fund out of the goodness of their heart or some generalized desire to help 33 random state parties,” pointed out attorney Dan Backer from the Committee to Defend the President.

“They did so to buy access and curry influence — something the Clintons have been selling for nearly three decades in and out of government,” he continued.

Trying to buy political influence is sadly common, especially when it comes to the Clintons. What is raising more red flags than normal, however, is the evidence that Sargsyan is no run-of-the-mill campaign donor.

“The really scary question is, what did this particular donor with this strange web of connections hope to buy for his quarter-million dollars?” Backer asked Fox News.

That web of connections is strange indeed.

The Committee to Defend the President is now alleging that SBK, a major Sargsyan-linked company “is an investment firm that is affiliated with United Arab Emirates president, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan, and its international affiliate has business interests in Russia,” according to Fox.

“Among its dealings was a bid to finance $850 million for a major bridge project to connect Crimea with Russia,” the group claims.

“He worked for SBK, and SBK appears to have bid on some Crimean/Russian bridge project,” Backer said. “That’s usually an indicator of political favor and connections.”

It raises several chilling questions: Was Sargsyan paying a quarter million dollars to Clinton for political favors, and — more disturbingly — was that money actually from sources in Russia in order to smooth the way for its construction plans?

Nobody knows for sure. What is clear, however, is that there is a pattern of dirty money surrounding the Clintons, with the “Uranium One” and “Clinton Foundation” scandals just two of the most well-known examples.

“It reinforces how fast and loose the Clinton machine was when it came to ‘Hoovering up’ these megadonor checks, not just from questionable Hollywood and Wall Street elites but potentially from foreign influence peddlers using who knows what money,” Backer told Fox News.

“It reinforces the need to take a long hard look at not just the unlawful money laundering process, but the way in which they were solicited as well,” he continued. “The Clintons have never shown a great deal of concern for whomever it was cutting the checks — whether it’s foreign influence peddlers or Hollywood smut peddlers like Harvey Weinstein.”

If those claims are even partially true, then America dodged a bullet in November of 2016 — and it’s worth keeping the pile of foreign-connected Clinton scandals in mind the next time the left tries desperately to tie Donald Trump to Russia. Perhaps they should look in the mirror.

SLAVEHOLDER??

Washington Post Compares
Jeff Sessions To Slaveholder’

The Washington Post compared Attorney General Jeff Sessions to “slaveholders” after he quoted the Bible on Thursday while discussing his department’s policy of prosecuting all illegal immigrants who cross the border.

Sessions made the statement during a speech to law enforcement officers in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

WaPo ran a story entitled “Sessions cites Bible passage used to defend slavery in defense of separating immigrant families” by general assignment editor Keith McMillan and religion reporter Julie Zauzmer on Friday.

Rather than detailing the statistics Sessions cited in the speech that explain the immigration policy, the story quoted John Fea, a history professor at Messiah College in Pennsylvania.

“This is the same argument that Southern slaveholders and the advocates of a Southern way of life made,” Fea said.

Sessions spent much of the speech discussing the numbers behind current immigration policy, including separating families at the Southwest border.

“I would cite you to the Apostle Paul and his clear and wise command in Romans 13, to obey the laws of the government because God has ordained the government for his purposes,” Sessions said.

“Orderly and lawful processes are good in themselves. Consistent and fair application of the law is in itself a good and moral thing, and that protects the weak and protects the lawful.”

“The previous administration wouldn’t prosecute aliens if they came with children,” Sessions said.

“It was de-facto open borders if you came with children. The results were unsurprising. More and more illegal aliens started showing up at the border with children.”

Sessions laid out the numbers in the speech.

“In 2013, fewer than 15,000 family units were apprehended crossing our border illegally between ports of entry in dangerous areas of the country,” he said.

“Five years later, it was more than 75,000, a five-fold increase in five years. It didn’t even have to be their child that was brought, it could be anyone. You can imagine that this created a lot of danger.”

The U.S. has the “opportunity” to fix its broken immigration system now, Sessions said.

“I believe that’s it’s moral, right, just and decent that we have a lawful system of immigration,” he said. “The American people have been asking for it.”
