{ thefederalist.com } ~ Former national security adviser liar-Susan Rice acknowledged last night that the scumbag/liar-nObama administration moved transcripts of conversations with foreign leaders onto the same top-secret server... where the Trump administration stored his recent phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Appearing at the Texas Tribune Festival, liar-Rice was asked how often this practice was engaged in during the scumbag/liar-nObama administration, but did not answer that question, saying instead, “We never moved them over unless they were legitimately, in the contents classified.” liar-Rice did not explain what standard the scumbag/liar-nObama administration used to determine what was legitimately classified. She said it is rare, although not impossible, that a presidential conversation could be classified to that highest level. The revelation from liar-Rice comes amid media reports and comments from political leaders that have painted the use of this top secret server as proof that Trump was trying to cover up the contents of his conversation with the Ukrainian leader, a full transcript of which the administration has now released to the public. While liar-Rice admitted that the scumbag/liar-nObama administration also used this server to protect sensitive presidential phone calls, she left open the question of whether the Trump administration used the server in this particular case to save the president from damaging, perhaps even impeachable, comments he made to Zelensky regarding investigations into political rival loose lips liar-Joe Biden. But reporting from ABC News shows that this practice of securing presidential phone transcripts has been in use in the White House since early 2017, after sensitive conversations with foreign leaders were leaked to the press. From ABC News: “The two calls in early 2017, with leaders from Australia and from Mexico, leaked early in Trump’s administration, and sources said the procedure to store them quickly changed — many calls between the president and world leaders instead were stored in a secure server to avoid leaks. The sources who talked to ABC News did caution that it’s unclear if the calls being stored were done so for national security or for political concerns.” One source cited by ABC News described the practice as “basically standard operating procedure.”...

But hanoi-John Kerry then was a senator who headed the Committee on Foreign Relations, which is charged with overseeing both the State Department and the Peace Corps. There is a clear conflict of interest there. That’s bad enough. But last year, in September, the Seed group got a four-year extension on its deal while hanoi-John Kerry was secretary of state. Another conflict of interest. Crony capitalism, anyone? Whether you think that what Seed does in Africa — it helps train doctors and nurses — is valuable or not, this no-competition grant to a nonprofit founded by a top official’s daughter reeks of rank favoritism at best, corruption at worst. “hanoi-Kerry and government officials colluded to launch the program and ensure that Seed would get the contract,” the Daily Caller concluded, after reviewing the relevant memos and papers related to the deal. But it doesn’t end there. Because, even as the hanoi-Kerry deal was being revealed, further strands of the heretofore hidden ties between then-Secretary of State scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton, the scumbag/liar-Clinton Foundation and a mysterious Russian billionaire with close ties to Vladimir Putin are coming to light. The Washington Examiner got its hands on emails showing that the scumbag/liar-Clinton Foundation sought ties with Russian billionaire Viktor Vekselberg at a time when he was in charge of an important element of then-Secretary of State scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton’s “Russian reset.” scumbag/liar-Hillary helped create “a major technology transfer initiative” that “may have substantially undermined U.S. national security,” according to Peter Schweizer, president of the Government Accountability Institute and the author of ”scumbag/liar-Clinton Cash.”...

We hear about this nearly every day, in every political argument that finds its way onto social media. “Can you imagine if scumbag/liar-Bill Clinton did this?” “Hillary did the same thing!” “Would they have treated scumbag/liar-nObama this poorly?!” Unfortunately of the Democrats, these arguments work both ways, and the supposed “controversy” regarding an alleged “whistleblower” complaint that President Trump asked the Ukraine to investigate his political rival seems to have some recent precedent. Former federal prosecutor Andrew C. McCarthy noted at National Review on Thursday that then-President Barack scumbag/liar-nObama’s administration asked Ukraine to investigate Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Paul Manafort, in 2016. Of course, one has to also be reminded of the impetus of the RussiaGate scandal as well, where the FBI appeared to use the well-debunked Steel Dossier to spy on the 2016 Trump campaign to behoove scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton’s chances in that election.

Rouhani Has Exposed the Futility
of European Diplomacy

{ gatestoneinstitute.org } ~ The utter futility of European attempts to keep faith with the flawed Iranian nuclear deal has been brutally exposed in the wake of the uncompromising approach adopted by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani... during the United Nations General Assembly. In the build-up to the UN's annual jamboree of global networkers, there had been much speculation that, against a background of mounting tensions in the Gulf over Tehran's aggressive conduct, the forum might provide an opportunity to re-establish a dialogue with the ayatollahs. To this end French President Emmanuel Macron has, in particular, been actively trying to broker a diplomatic rapprochement between Tehran and Washington, to the extent it was even suggested that a bilateral meeting might be possible between US President Donald Trump and Mr Rouhani. The reality of the delusional approach adopted by Mr Macron and other European leaders was, though, brutally exposed the moment Mr Rouhani arrived in New York. Instead of showing any sign of seeking to repair Tehran's strained relationship with the West and its allies, he instead indulged in an orgy of self-justification in which he sought to portray his country as an innocent victim of Western aggression rather than accepting, as is really the case, that Iran was the primary instigator of the latest escalation in tensions. Not even the charm offensive applied by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, whose presence in New York was no doubt a welcome distraction from his domestic political woes, was able to make much impression on Mr Rouhani's demeanour. Mr Johnson briefly raised a laugh from the Iranian leader when he suggested he make a return visit to Glasgow -- a city Mr Rouhani knows well from the time he studied there in the 1990s -- while remarking, "As you know, Glasgow is lovely in November" -- a reference to the city's notoriously cold and wet climate at that time of year. The atmospherics -- to use the diplomatic jargon -- might have appeared promising during Mr Johnson's one-to-one with the Iranian leader, but reality soon set in the moment Mr Rouhani took to the UN podium and embarked upon an extraordinary exercise in self-justification, one in which the US and its allies were the villains and Iran was portrayed as a nation wronged...

{ breitbart.com } ~ Former House Speaker rino-Paul Ryan, who currently sits on the board of Fox Corp., is reportedly urging Fox News to “decisively break” with President Donald Trump... according to a Thursday Vanity Fair report documenting the network’s “management bedlam.” Vanity Fair’s Gabe Sherman, citing four sources, reported that Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch, who has long tried to move Fox News to the center, “is already thinking about how to position the network for a post-Trump future.” rino-Ryan, the longtime Trump antagonist, has reportedly been suggesting to Murdoch that “Fox should decisively break with the president” as Murdoch holds “strategy conversations with Fox executives and anchors about how Fox News should prepare for life after Trump.” Vanity Fair cited “an executive who’s spoken with rino-Ryan” who simply said: “rino-Paul is embarrassed about Trump and now he has the power to do something about it.” Trump has repeatedly attacked Fox News of late, accusing the network of showcasing Democrats—and potential presidential opponents—in town halls. On Thursday, three Fox News anchors—Chris Wallace, Bret Baier, and Martha MacCallum—reportedly discussed being the “targets of the president’s tweets,” with Wallace telling the crowd at Advertising Week in New York: “It’s a very surreal thing. I think we all kind of embrace it as: We’ve got his attention, so we must be doing something right.” MacCallum reportedly added, according to the Hollywood Reporter: “Contrary to the opinion of some people, he’s not our boss.” Since retiring from the House last year, rino-Ryan has said he viewed his resignation as an “escape hatch” and promptly trashed Trump in a book, saying he wanted to “scold him all the time” because Trump “didn’t know anything about government.”...

Who's the Whistleblower's Puppet Master?Thomas Gallatin: Upon reading the publicly released whistleblower’s complaint about President Donald Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, it’s patently obvious that the “whistleblower” — outed as a CIA agent courtesy of The New York Times — is well-versed in the art of political spin. Maybe this agent learned his (or her) craft from those media spin-masters at the Times…
As we noted yesterday, the whistleblower’s complaint appears to contain credible information corroborated by the record of Trump’s call with Zelenskyy. However, it’s also clear that the whistleblower distorts and reads into the phone conversation intentions and motives that are not present.
One of the most glaring examples of this spin comes from the whistleblower’s description of the events surrounding the phone call. He claims that White House officials were “deeply disturbed” by the phone call because they supposedly viewed it as Trump abusing his office for personal gain. The reader is to assume that “everyone” who heard the phone call immediately recognized that a quid pro quo had just been demanded. Yet the record of the phone call does not even remotely support such a damning conclusion.
To bolster the claim that all these officials knew Trump had just engaged in a quid pro quo, the whistleblower alleges that senior White House officials broke with normal record-keeping protocols to “lock down” all records of the phone call. The whistleblower then insinuates a blatant attempt at a cover-up, writing, “This set of actions underscores to me that White House officials understood the gravity of what had transpired in the call.”
However, the Trump administration’s reason for filing the phone call as highly classified is not so sinister as the whistleblower alleges. As Fox News reports, “The Trump administration reportedly began placing transcripts of Trump’s calls with several foreign leaders in a highly classified repository after leakers publicly divulged the contents of Trump’s private calls with the leaders of Mexico and Australia in 2017.” Object if you like, but evidently this has been common practice for some time, and it was motivated by a perfectly understandable reason: to prevent future leaks.
The real question is this: Who is the puppet master behind the scenes, orchestrating this CIA whistleblower’s carefully crafted attempt to pin an impeachable offense on Trump?
It’s likely a disgruntled current or former deep-state actor — a scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton supporter in the intel community. Recall Sen. Chuck scumbag-Schumer’s chastising Trump for “being really dumb” following the president’s criticism of some U.S. intelligence operations. He warned, “Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.” Daniel Benjamin, former senior adviser to Barack scumbag/liar-nObama, was even more explicit: “Trump’s treatment of his spies will also come back to bite him in the form of leaking and whistleblowing.”
Contemplate the lawless implications of the scumbag-Schumer and Benjamin assertions. These are bold face admissions that their deep-state operatives within the CIA and FBI will use their positions to do exactly what they have done with the Russian collusion charade, in order to disable and undermine this presidential administration. They have outlined how those corrupt officials, under former CIA director scumbag/commie-John Brennan and former FBI director scumbag-James Comey, have abused their positions, endeavoring to take down the Trump presidency.
