Kavanaugh sworn in as 114th Supreme Court justice,
hours after Senate votes to confirm
by Adam Shaw
{foxnews.com} ~ Judge Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in as the 114th Supreme Court justice late Saturday, just hours after the Senate voted to confirm him... to the nation's highest court after a rancorous confirmation battle. Kavanaugh was sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts in a private ceremony, accompanied by his wife and children. The ceremonial swearing in is expected to happen on Monday evening at the White House. It means that now-Justice Kavanaugh will begin hearing cases before the court on Tuesday. The Senate voted 50-48 to confirm Kavanaugh, mostly along party lines, after a week long FBI probe helped settle concerns among most wavering senators about the sexual assault allegations that nearly derailed his nomination and led to a dramatic second hearing. Saturday’s roll call marked the tightest successful Supreme Court confirmation vote in over 100 years, closer than even that of Clarence Thomas who similarly faced sexual misconduct allegations. Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., was the sole dummycrats-Democrat to vote “yes.” Sen. rino-Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, was a “no,” but voted “present” as a courtesy to Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., who was attending his daughter’s wedding in Montana. dummycrats-Democrats reacted to the vote by urging supporters to turn out to the polls in November for the midterms...  https://www.foxnews.com/politics/kavanaugh-sworn-in-as-114th-suprem...

New counter-terrorism strategy names radical Muslims as enemy
by BOB UNRUH
{wnd.com} ~ In a striking departure from the scumbag/liar-nObama administration, which sought to downplay the role of Islam in terrorism, the Trump administration is naming “radical Islamist” groups at the “principal terrorist enemies.”... The new National Strategy for Counterterrorism of the United States of America plainly states in its opening paragraph: “Our principal terrorist enemies are radical Islamist terrorist groups that seek to conduct attacks globally, violate our borders, and radicalize and recruit potential extremists within the United States and abroad.” In an introductory letter accompanying the strategy, the president explains it “sets forth a new approach.” “We will protect our homeland, our interests overseas, and our allies and partners,” he said. “We will defeat radical Islamist terrorists such as ISIS and al-Qaida, expand our agile counterterrorism toolkit to prevent future terrorist threats, deter emerging threats, roll back Iran’s global terrorism network, and ensure our country’s continued safety. Now, and in the future, we will secure our nation and prevail against terrorism.” The report points out that the U.S., working with its allies, already has “liberated nearly all of the territory once controlled by the self-declared Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) in Iraq and Syria.”...

Ms. Blasey-Ford Legal Team: No Further Plans
To Pursue Allegations Against Brett Kavanaugh
by sundance
{theconservativetreehouse.com} ~ No surprise here.  With Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh having successfully defeated the fraudulent smear campaign mounted against him... the political operatives in control of Blasey-Ford announce they have no further plans to pursue. With the Senate voting to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as an associate justice of the Supreme Court, Christine Blasey Ford has no further plans to pursue her sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh, according to her lawyers. Ford only wanted to speak with members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, her attorneys told CNN on Friday. Ford does not want the situation to “drag on into the next Congress should dummycrats-Democrats end up winning control on Capitol Hill,” the network reported. When asked about the possibility of impeachment proceedings, attorney Debra Katz told the network: “Professor Ford has not asked for anything of the sort. What she did was to come forward and testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee and agree to cooperate with any investigation by the FBI, and that’s what she sought to do here.” The question now becomes whether or not the DOJ or FBI will pursue those who constructed the fraudulent accusations?….  Unfortunately, the answer based on historic reference is likely, NO.  The swamp will most likely revert to status quo...
Buried-bodies brewhaha threatens
access-for-all to federal courts
by wnd.com
{wnd.com} ~ Two U.S. Supreme Court justices have suggested courthouse doors could be closed to people bringing complaints of constitutional violations... The comments from Justices Stephen Breyer and Sonia Sotomayor in a dispute the court was hearing over a property taking in Scott Township, Pennsylvania. Town officials adopted an ordinance used to require a woman, Rose Mary Knick, effectively to turn her 90 acres of private land into public property. But officials refused her any compensation. A federal court refused to hear her federal claim, citing a 1983 decision that held property owners must take their claims to state courts first. But the state courts also refused to take Knick’s case. The dispute arose when township officials abruptly adopted an ordinance that requires landowners to open their property to the public if there are claims that a historical gravesite exists on the land, as WND reported. Knick’s property has been in her family for half a century, and someone claimed there was on old gravesite on the land, despite lack of evidence...

Americans United On One Thing: Dianne Fein-stein BLEW IT!
by Isa Cox and Jeff Dunetz
{lidblog.com} ~ The dummycrats-Democrats have spent the last three weeks leading us by the nose down a path of increasingly outrageous allegations... made against Judge Brett Kavanaugh and successfully delaying the final vote on his confirmation to the Supreme Court. Now that they’ve failed, conservatives are relieved, and liberals are angry. But both the liberal and conservative “post-game analyses” agree on one crucial point, Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Dianne Fein-stein really screwed up. Conservatives are relieved that the political process actually worked for once and that you can’t yet accuse a man of sexual assault with absolutely no corroborating evidence and successfully ruin his life, even for the sake of political expediency. And they are still angry that Fein-stein used Christine Ford’s letter as a last-minute political tool. Liberals are angry because they #BelieveAllWomen and a man they believe is a sexual assailant will now be appointed to the Supreme Court, and realize if Diane Fein-stein went to the FBI when she got the letter, there would be no doubt about Kavanaugh’s sexual assault. These may seem like polar opposite viewpoints, and they are. They also serve as a very good example as to where our highly divided nation is at in 2018... She is not allow, the dummycrats also blew it.

{wnd.com} ~ Four days after he described Christine Blasey Ford, the accuser of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, as a “very credible witness,” President Donald Trump could no longer contain his feelings or constrain his instincts.

With the fate of his Supreme Court nominee in the balance, Trump let his “Make America Great Again” rally attendees in Mississippi know what he really thought of Ford’s testimony.

“‘Thirty-six years ago this happened. I had one beer.’ ‘Right?’ ‘I had one beer.’ ‘Well, you think it was one beer?’ ‘Nope, it was one beer.’ ‘Oh, good. How did you get home?'”

‘I don’t remember.’ ‘How did you get there?’ ‘I don’t remember.’ ‘Where is the place?’ ‘I don’t remember.’ ‘How many years ago was it?’ ‘I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know.'”

By now the Mississippi MAGA crowd was cheering and laughing.

Trump went on: “‘What neighborhood was it in?’ ‘I don’t know.’ ‘Where’s the house?’ ‘I don’t know.’ ‘Upstairs, downstairs, where was it?’ ‘I don’t know. But I had one beer. That’s the only thing I remember.'”

Since that day three years ago when he came down the escalator at Trump Tower to talk of “rapists” crossing the U.S. border from Mexico, few Trump remarks have ignited greater outrage.

Commentators have declared themselves horrified and sickened that a president would so mock the testimony of a victim of sexual assault.

The Republican senators who will likely cast the decisive votes on Kavanaugh’s confirmation – Jeff Flake, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski – they all decried Trump’s mimicry.

Yet, in tossing out the “Catechism of Political Correctness” and treating the character assassination of Kavanaugh as what it was, a rotten conspiracy to destroy and defeat his nominee, Trump’s instincts were correct, even if they were politically incorrect.

This was not a “job interview” for Kavanaugh.

In a job interview, half the members of the hiring committee are not so instantly hostile to an applicant that they will conspire to criminalize and crush him to the point of wounding his family and ruining his reputation.

When Sen. Lindsey Graham charged the dummycrats-Democratic minority with such collusion, he was dead on. This was a neo-Bolshevik show trial where the defendant was presumed guilty, and due process meant digging up dirt from his school days to smear and break him.

Our cultural elites have declared Trump a poltroon for daring to mock Ford’s story of what happened 36 years ago. Yet, these same elites reacted with delight at Matt Damon’s “SNL” depiction of Kavanaugh’s angry and agonized appearance, just 48 hours before.

Is it not hypocritical to laugh uproariously at a comedic depiction of Kavanaugh’s anguish, while demanding quiet respect for the highly suspect and uncorroborated story of Ford?

Ford was handled by the judiciary committee with the delicacy of a Faberge egg, said Kellyanne Conway, while Kavanaugh was subjected to a hostile interrogation by Senate Democrats.

In our widening and deepening cultural-civil war, the Kavanaugh nomination will be seen as a landmark battle. And Trump’s instincts, to treat his
dummycrats-Democratic assailants as ideological enemies, with whom he is in mortal struggle, will be seen as correct.

Consider. In the last half-century, which Supreme Court nominees were the most maligned and savaged?

Were they not Nixon nominee Clement Haynsworth, chief judge of the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, Reagan nominee Robert Bork, Bush 1 nominee Clarence Thomas, and Trump nominee Brett Kavanaugh, the last three all judges on the nation’s second-highest court, the District of Columbia Circuit Court of Appeals?

Is it a coincidence that all four were Republican appointees, all four were judicial conservatives, and all four were gutted on the grounds of philosophy or character?

Is it a coincidence that Nixon in Watergate, Reagan in the Iran-Contra affair, and now Trump in Russiagate, were all targets of partisan campaigns to impeach and remove them from office?

Consider what happened to decent Gerald Ford who came into the Oval Office in 1974, preaching “the politics of compromise and consensus.”

To bring the country together after Watergate, Ford pardoned President Nixon. For that act of magnanimity, he was torn to pieces by a Beltway elite that had been denied its anticipated pleasure of seeing Nixon prosecuted, convicted and sentenced to prison.

Trump is president because he gets it. He understands what this Beltway elite are all about – the discrediting of his victory as a product of criminal collusion with Russia and his resignation or removal in disgrace. And the “base” that comes to these rallies to cheer him on, they get it, too.

Since Reagan’s time, there are few conservatives who have not been called one or more of the names in liar-Hillary Clinton’s litany of devils, her “basket of deplorables” – racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, bigoted, irredeemable.

The battle over Kavanaugh’s nomination, and the disparagement of the Republicans who have stood strongest by the judge, seems to have awakened even the most congenial to the new political reality.

We are all deplorables now.

CRIME!! -> ICE Deports Quarter Of A Million Illegal Aliens, 6K Gang Members In 2018

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency in Fiscal Year 2018 deported more than 256,000 illegal aliens out of the United States, including about 6,000 suspected or known gang members.

Between September 2017 and October 2018, ICE agents deported 95,360 illegal aliens living throughout the interior of the U.S. and 160,725 illegal aliens who were caught by Border Patrol crossing into the country.

Most significant are the number of deportations ICE agents conducted for the more than 95,000 illegal aliens who were living throughout the interior of the country. There are anywhere from 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living across the U.S. at any given time, straining the capacity of ICE.

This year, though, ICE increased deportations of illegal aliens living in the U.S. by more than 45 percent since President Obama’s last year in office, when only about 65,000 illegal aliens living in the U.S. were deported.

The number of ICE deportations of convicted criminal illegal aliens and those with pending criminal charges has increased about 11.5 percent since Fiscal Year 2016, with more than 168,000 convicted criminal and suspected criminal illegal aliens being deported out of the U.S. this year.

In a tremendous increase, ICE hiked the number of illegal alien gang members deported by more than 185 percent compared to Fiscal Year 2016. This year, nearly 6,000 illegal aliens who are known or suspected gang members were deported out of the U.S. by ICE. Compare that to the only about 2,000 illegal alien gang members were deported in Obama’s last year in office.

Likewise, ICE deported a steady level of suspected or known illegal alien terrorists, totaling about 42 deportations for Fiscal Year 2018, a slight decrease from the 45 who were deported last year.

The ICE data also reveals the effectiveness of Trump’s visa sanctions on foreign countries refusing to take back their nationals. Throughout this year, the Trump administration placed visa restrictions on Cambodia, Cuba, Eritrea, Guinea, and Sierra Leone, as all those nations would not take their nationals back from the U.S.

This Fiscal Year 2018, after all five nations were hit with visa sanctions, the number of nationals deported to the foreign countries skyrocketed with a 279 percent increase in deportations from the U.S. to Cambodia, a 189 percent increase in deportations to Cuba, and a nearly 150 percent increase in deportations to Guinea.

As Breitbart News most recently reported, illegal immigration to the U.S. has continuously risen over the last three months to record levels. Last month, illegal immigration at the United States-Mexico border soared to levels that the country has not seen since Fiscal Year 2014, when more than 51,500 illegal aliens tried to cross the border in April 2015.

Meanwhile, illegal immigration costs American taxpayers about $116 billion every year, and the U.S.-born children of illegal aliens — granted birthright citizenship — cost taxpayers about $2.4 billion annually. There are about 300,000 “anchor babies,” the common name for U.S.-born child of illegal aliens, born every year which exceeds U.S. births in 48 states.
