The events surrounding the leaking of the FISA warrant used against U.S. person Carter Page, and the 2018 DOJ decision not to prosecute SSCI Security Director James Wolfe for those leaks, was the fork in the road moment for the DOJ. Attorney General Jeff Session was recused, Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein was in charge and the Mueller investigation was ongoing. That was when the DOJ made a decision not to prosecute Wolfe for leaking classified information. DC U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu signed-off on a plea deal where Wolfe plead guilty to only a single count of lying to the FBI. If the DOJ had pursued the case against Wolfe for leaking the FISA application, everything would have been different. The American electorate would have seen evidence of what was taking place in the background effort to remove President Trump. We would be in an entirely different place today if that prosecution or trial had taken place...

Bannon says there is validity to the Drudge story that initiated a great deal of media discussion, I disagree. Bloomberg is good at playing media for his interests and this story lines up more with a Bloomberg operation to advance a nomination narrative. I strongly sense this story is a psychological game initiated by Bloomberg, and Bannon fell for it. Notice how the story, by itself, positions Bloomberg as the presumptive nominee. Discussion of Bloomberg’s VP selection inherently implants a narrative that Bloomberg will be the nominee. Thus this is more likely the real motive for the story, and not the details within the story itself...

Psychologists warn that the first step in mass murder is to dehumanize the victim. In a talk titled “’Less Than Human’: The Psychology of Cruelty,” David Livingstone Smith, co-founder and director of the Institute for Cognitive Science and Evolutionary Psychology at the University of New England, notes, “For the Nazis, Jews were untermenschen — subhumans — and as such were excluded from the system of moral rights and obligations that bind humankind together. Attorney General Announces New
Sanctions Against Sanctuary Locations

At the National Sheriff’s Association 2020 Winter Legislative and Technology Conference in Washington, DC, Barr said that sanctuary cities are protecting illegal immigrants, jeopardizing domestic security, and obstructing the “lawful function of our nation’s immigration system.” As a result, the Department of Justice (DOJ) filed numerous lawsuits against sanctuary cities, counties, and states for interfering with federal immigration enforcement. Barr further stated that these actions were not about those who come to the United States illegally and are peaceful, productive members of society. He said that sanctuary cities intentionally give criminal aliens protection from deportation. In many instances, local law enforcement has arrested criminal illegal aliens for multiple crimes. “This is neither lawful nor sensible,” Barr said. On Monday, the DOJ filed a civil complaint against the State of New Jersey asking for “declaratory and injunctive relief.” The suit claims that “New Jersey has no authority to enforce laws and policies that obstruct or otherwise conflict with federal immigration enforcement efforts.” The complaint seeks to force New Jersey to provide information it has about criminal aliens and to enforce its cooperation with federal immigration laws...

There’s the Roger Stone case, the decision to close the investigation into Andrew McCabe over the Horowitz referral... that indicated that he had lied to the FBI about the scumbag/liar-Clinton email leak, and Congressman scumbag liar-Jerry Nadler’s calling Attorney General William Barr as a witness in an upcoming hearing. (a) The Problem with DC juries Washington, D.C. has a relatively small population from which jurors must be found for the federal and local grand juries, petit juries, and civil juries. People who serve on these juries must be citizens with no felony convictions, people with no connection to the attorneys or parties, and must have no bias respecting the matter tried. Since almost 80% of the city are Democratic voters, often employed by the government or are connected to law enforcement or have family members who are, the ability to expeditiously find panels in criminal cases is limited. Worse yet, the chance of an unbiased panel in a case involving Republican figures is minimal. If you think this puts Republican figures at far greater risk than Democrats, you are certainly not wrong. Recall if you will the prosecutor who publicly stated the Starr special counsel’s office believed scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton had lied to the grand jury, but because ethical prosecutors are not to bring cases they have no reasonable likelihood of winning and no D.C. jury would convict her, they were declining to prosecute her. Potential jurors are given questionnaires to fill out under oath, on penalty of perjury, in an effort to determine any biases. After which they may be called still under oath in a process called voir dire to answer further questions from the judge and lawyers to determine if they should be excused or empaneled to sit on the jury. Prosecutors get to strike peremptorily six people from the jury and the defense gets to strike 10. In addition, on its own initiative, the court can strike any for cause. The questionnaires in the Roger Stone case are still under seal, but the transcript of the voir dire is public. Juror names are not publicly disclosed to protect them and insulate them from outside influence. After trial they are free to self-disclose and speak about the trial publicly...

The Real Meaning Behind the Fight Over War PowersNate Jackson: The Senate voted Thursday to prevent President Donald Trump from taking military action against Iran without congressional consent. Democrats were joined by eight Republicans — Lamar Alexander (TN), Bill Cassidy (LA), rino-Susan Collins (ME), Mike Lee (UT), Jerry Moran (KS), rino-Lisa Murkowski (AK), Rand Paul (KY), and Todd Young (IN). That follows the House vote last month. It is certain, however, that Trump will veto Congress’s largely symbolic fist-shaking effort.
As we’ve said before, there are legitimate arguments about presidential and congressional war powers, which is the main reason for the votes of those eight Republicans. The problem is primarily because Congress has become content with leaving those decisions to the president. The president wants the freedom to move troops without the partisan and political squabbling inherent in going before Congress. Members of Congress want all of the political benefit from criticizing the president with none of the responsibility for the policy. No one seems to remember the Constitution’s general prescription for war.
In the case of Iran, however, this resolution is particularly interesting coming on the heels of the successful mission to terminate Gen. Qasem Soleimani, leader of Iran’s elite terrorist Corps-Quds forces and murderer of hundreds of American soldiers. It was a legitimate operation against an enemy of the United States, undertaken in an authorized theater of American military operation.
When Barack scumbag/liar-nObama ordered the mission to terminate Osama bin Laden — not in a theater of American operation, by the way — Mitch McConnell wrote letters of credit and appreciation. Democrats showed no such magnanimity after Trump’s strike against Soleimani. Yet we all know that if scumbag/liar-nObama had killed Soleimani, there would not be a Democrat on the planet complaining about it.
Speaking of scumbag/liar-nObama, most of the Democrat consternation over Trump and Iran stems from Trump keeping his campaign promise to exit the sham nuclear deal. Whereas scumbag/liar-nObama gave Tehran’s mullahs everything they wanted in terms of nuclear development and sent them pallets of cash as ransom for hostages, Trump is having none of it, exiting that deal, increasing sanctions pressure, and killing Iranian terrorists. Democrats can’t stand it and thus are left with toothless resolutions to undermine American foreign policy and national security. ~The Patriot Post

We both know where congress was when scumbag/lair-nObama acted upon his power to war with Libya. No one not even Rand Paul said nothing but now they are acting upon Trump and his authority to do the same. But the bill will be veto by Trump.
so where was congress when obama went to war w/libya w/o any congressional approval violating art 1 sect 8 of the constitution. WAR POWERS IS NOT GOING TO WAR. THE PRES NEEDS TO HAVE THAT POWER.
