Cavuto asked Jarrett to expound on his “compellingly researched” best-selling book, “The Russia Hoax: The Illicit Scheme to Clear liar-Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump.” “I see no evidence of collusion so far,” Jarrett said. “There have been five investigative committees looking into this. They have interviewed 175-plus witnesses, they’ve reviewed half a million documents. { foxnews.com } ~ President Trump said on Sunday that he would be willing to shut down the federal government if the dummycrats-Democrats do not agree to Republican demands... about funding for a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. Trump wrote on Twitter that border security "includes the Wall! Must get rid of Lottery, Catch & Release etc. and finally go to system of Immigration based on MERIT! We need great people coming into our Country!" The White House has been embroiled in controversy over the ongoing efforts to reunite families separated at the border who were attempting to enter the United States illegally. During his most recent weekly address, Trump cited the 9/11 terrorist attacks to justify strong enforcement of immigration laws and the continued necessity of Immigration Customs & Enforcement, the agency which has come under fire from dummycrats-Democrats in recent months...

Judge Blocks Gov’t Plans to Withhold

Funds from Sanctuary Cities

{ libertyheadlines.com } ~ For the second time, a federal judge in Chicago rejected a U.S. Justice Department plan to withhold law enforcement grants... from so-called sanctuary cities and said his ruling applied nationwide. The city of Chicago sued the Justice Department, arguing that it’s policies of policing and cooperating with immigrant communities must be upheld. Chicago doesn’t cooperate with immigration authorities about the status of a suspect unless they are a known gang members or violent felons. Under the Justice Department plan, cities that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities, would be denied funds under the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant. The conditions would require city police to contact immigration officials and hold those in custody suspected of being undocumented until immigration officials arrive. U.S. District Judge Harry D. Speaking a funeral at the Great Omari Mosque in Gaza City, Fathi Hamad hailed the "success" of what he called "peaceful" protests at the Gaza security fence that have been going on since the end of March. "We are making history with our peacefulness and our peaceful movement," Hamas insisted. There's No Such Thing as 'Democratic Socialism'

{ americanthinker.com } ~ The new darling of the dummycrats-Democratic Party and the liberal mainstream media is commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez... the bright-eyed twenty-something who upended long-time House member Joe Crowley in a New York state dummycrats-Democratic primary a few weeks ago. In their breathless, frenzied rush to anoint commie-Ocasio-Cortez as the coming of the Savior of the Nation, liberals across the land have wholeheartedly embraced her call for “dummycrats- Democratic Socialism.” Ignoring the fact that commie-Bernie Sanders espoused essentially the exact same things in the last presidential campaign but was unceremoniously and dishonestly pushed aside by the dummycrats-Democratic Party in favor of liar-Hillary Clinton, what exactly is this “dummycrats-democratic socialism” that seems to have everyone on that side of the fence so atwitter these days? What dummycrats-Democrats think it is sounds good: income equality, a fair living wage for everyone, plentiful employment opportunities, quality healthcare coverage for all, affordable college education for all who want it, easy access to affordable, quality housing, and a tax system where the so-called rich pay their “fair share.” While they’re at it, the commie-Ocasio-Cortez’s of the world would also abolish ICE while ending most immigration restrictions, end what they see as our destructive international interventionism and put a stop to Israel’s occupation and oppression of Palestine. What these last three have to do with either “dummycrats- democracy” or “socialism” is unclear, but there it is anyway...Don't be fooled by this socialism.

{ cnsnews.com } ~ To commemorate my 25th wedding anniversary this week to my husband, Jesse, I asked readers on Facebook to share their own secrets to a long happy marriage.

In short, the crowd sourced recipe for marital endurance includes faith, forgiveness, romance, kindness, selflessness and a healthy dose of humor. A union built to last begins with a promise and persists through compromise and commitment. It is about keeping your word, choosing the right words and knowing when no words are necessary.

Teri L. emphasized: "Marriage is WORK. You have to put effort into it. You have to love and nurture the relationship. It has to be priority. You have to respect it."

Cathy G. advised: "Be careful with your words. Once they are out in the universe, there is no taking them back. And laugh — a lot! 41 years and counting."

Vincent O. opined: The "key to a long marriage is forgiveness and understanding. You must also end your arguments and misunderstandings the same day. Never let it linger."

Tony G. kept it short and simple: "53 years ago, I learned how to say, 'Yes, Love.'"

Marie G. also administered pithy wisdom: "30 years. It's all about RESPECT."

Hugh W. counseled: "Our secret to a long marriage: I always let my wife think she's in charge!"

Terence C. gave the opposite instruction: "As far as a secret to a successful marriage, I always tell everyone: 'My wife lets me think I am the boss!'"

Pamela N. shared: "We celebrated our 51st last March. My advice is to apologize when you're wrong and forgive when you are wronged. Don't throw in the towel when hardships come. Hang on. There will be hills and valleys ... and beautiful meadows. Embrace it all together."

Robert S. reflected: "Will be married 50 years this August 2018. I carry a picture of my wife that I have had for over 51 (years)." She "sent it to me when I was in Vietnam. I look at that picture every day to remind me why I married her. It hasn't failed me yet."

I think my advice for a long lasting marriage is believing and living the part of your vows that say 'in sickness and in health,' because you just are never prepared or know what the future holds."

From my mom and dad, who marked their 48th wedding anniversary this spring: "Today, as you reflect on the 25 years of journey through your married life, you can rejoice, be grateful, and take pride in all that you have accomplished and weathered together. Marriage indeed is hard work, but it becomes lighter when lived in love and perseverance, with patience and humility."
