NRA Immediately Responds With Lawsuit
Over Unconstitutional Florida Gun Law
{ } ~ One hour after RINO Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) signed a massive attack on the Second Amendment into law... the NRA was in a court house filing their challenge on constitutional grounds. The new law, signed on Friday,  calls for waiting periods for long guns, firearm confiscation by the government and a ban on bump stocks. It also raises the age at which one can legally purchase a rifle or shotgun in the state to 21 from 18. It is that provision that is the foundation of the legal action by the NRA. Marion Hammer spoke for the NRA, telling Breitbart News that they “filed a lawsuit in federal court against the State of Florida for violating the constitutional rights of young adults between the ages of 18-21.”...
House Intel Expands Dossier Probe With Letter
To liar-nObama Adviser Linked To Fusion GPS
{ } ~ Republicans on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence are seeking information about the Steele dossier... from a former liar-nObama administration official who is married to an employee of Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that commissioned the dossier. The committee, chaired by GOP Rep. Devin Nunes of California, issued questionnaires Friday to around a dozen former President Barack liar-nObama’s administration officials.  The Daily Caller News Foundation is told that one of the letters was sent to Shailagh Murray, a former journalist who served as senior adviser to liar-nObama and as former Vice President Joe loose lips-Biden’s deputy chief of staff...
DREAMers Go Rogue… Trash Democrat
Party in Unprecedented Move
{ } ~ Playing identity politics is a risky game. The Democrat Party no doubt thought it could snag easy votes by pandering to the largely Latino population of “Dreamers”… but the left’s eagerness to blame Republicans for every problem is now causing many in that community to reject liberal promises. During a recent appearance on Fox News, an illegal immigrant and participant in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program named Cata Santiago had harsh words for Democrats and their inability to work with President Donald Trump and GOP lawmakers. “They don’t walk their talk,” declared the 20-year-old immigrant, who is a Mexican citizen but was taken to the U.S. by her parents when she was only 8...
Susan Rice Criticizing Trump Success With
N Korea, The Mess She Left Him To Fix
{ } ~ Both liar-nObama National Security Adviser Susan Rice and her fellow globalist, Mrs. Alan Greenspan, Andrea Mitchell... seem to be taking it personally that President Trump is making progress in dealing with North Korea that nobody before him, including Rice and their messiah were able to. Given the fact that Trump has already outperformed liar-nObama on foreign policy, it’s questionable whether the opinions of either of these two cackling hens is of any value, but they certainly are not shy about giving them, along with heaping helpings of anti-Trump rhetoric. In describing getting nothing accomplished through the laughable liar-nObama policy of “strategic patience,” doing nothing as N Korea built their nuclear program, Mitchell says, “What you’ve described is a traditional, appropriate diplomatic process.” For some reason Rice finds the characterization of her failures in that manner humorous, laughing dismissively at President Trump...
Senate Claims to Fix its Wall Street Bill,
But a look at the Text Says It's a Giveaway
by David Dayen
{ } ~ EARLIER THIS WEEK, the Senate got 50 Republicans, 16 Democrats, and one Democratic-leaning independent to move forward on S.2155, the bipartisan bank deregulation bill... With that base of support, prospects for passage are extremely bright — or dark, depending on how you view a bill that the Congressional Budget Office says heightens the risk of a financial crisis for the purpose of loosening rules on banks. There’s just one problem left: Almost nobody has any idea what the bill will ultimately look like. And they almost certainly won’t know until hours, or perhaps minutes, before they have to make a final decision. Senate Banking Committee chair Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, and four Banking Committee Democrats filed several last-minute changes in what’s known as a manager’s amendment late Wednesday. That’s a bill that incorporates unknown changes to a piece of legislation that has already passed committee. To spot the changes, a reader must compare the language of both bills...

China Extends NoKo Nuke Olive Branch

by Thomas Gallatin:  President Donald Trump on Thursday accepted an invitation to meet with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, an invitation that was relayed to the U.S. by South Korean officials who had recently met with the North. It’s important to note here that thus far the North Korean regime has not publicly or officially requested a meeting with Trump. That said, there is no reason to doubt Kim’s desire to have a face-to-face meeting with the president, as it would serve to validate his leadership status on the world scene. On the possibility of a diplomatic solution, Trump struck a positive yet realistic note, tweeting, “Kim Jong Un talked about denuclearization with the South Korean Representatives, not just a freeze. Also, no missile testing by North Korea during this period of time. Great progress being made but sanctions will remain until an agreement is reached. Meeting being planned!”

There has been quite a bit of Leftmedia consternation over the implications of Trump’s acceptance. Many have questioned if Trump fully appreciates the dangers. U.S. policy has long resisted offering any validation to the rogue regime — validation it could then leverage geopolitically. As has been repeatedly noted by the MSM, this face-to-face meeting would be a first for a sitting U.S. president.
However, what has been missed by much of the MSM coverage is the region’s biggest player, China. The Kim regime’s long-running control of North Korea could not have existed without significant support from the communists in Beijing. In fact, North Korea is a puppet of the Chinese.
It is interesting to note that the day Trump announced his plan for tariffs on steel, North Korean officials reached out to officials in the South requesting a meeting. Undoubtedly, Kim has felt the sting of Trump’s economic sanctions, but more than Kim, it is the Chinese who have the most to lose economically, especially if war were to break out on the Korean peninsula. Trump’s announcement of a tariff on Chinese steel and aluminum may have finally been the straw that broke the camel’s back. If China is willing to truly end the nuclear threat posed by its North Korean puppet, then maybe it can get concessions from Trump on tariffs.
The fact of the matter is that the U.S. is China’s largest single trade partner and second largest regional partner behind only the European Union, accounting for over $521 billion in trade annually. Meanwhile, the North Korean economy is almost entirely dependent on China, which accounts for over 90% of its imports and over 85% of its exports. Quite literally, China is North Korea’s lifeline. Thus, as we have noted previously, China is the key to effectively dealing with North Korea.
Trump has indicated that he has no plans to withdraw any sanctions until there are actual results, and talks don’t equate to results. Rep. Edward Royce (R-CA), chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee argued for a cautious approach, saying, “We can pursue more diplomacy as we keep applying pressure ounce by ounce.” He added, “Remember, North Korean regimes have repeatedly used talks and empty promises to extract concessions and buy time. North Korea uses this to advance its nuclear and missile programs. We’ve got to break this cycle.”
Kevin Martin, president of Peace Action, said, “North Korea is putting virtually all topics of concerns on the table. Trump now has the opportunity to achieve what no president has been able to achieve in seven decades of U.S.-North Korea relations: make real strides towards lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula.” Is it North Korea or is it China that is putting denuclearization on the table? Either way, it is sincerely hoped that a nuclear North Korea comes to an end.   ~The Patriot Pos

Ignored By Media: Trump Is Using Obama’s National Emergency On Mexican Cartels To Build The Border Wall

President Trump declared a State of Emergency at the US southern border on Friday.

Declaring the immigration crisis a national emergency was overdue. Presidents have declared national emergencies for nearly 50 years.

Barack Obama declared 13 national emergencies, 11 of which continue to this day. The Obama emergencies included the Swine Flu, Flint water crisis and Iran.

And Obama declared the Mexican drug cartels a national emergency in 2011.

Congress believes President Trump has $21 billion in unobligated military construction funding money available for the border wall with Mexico.

Now this was mostly ignored by the liberal media. President Trump is using Barack Obama’s previous national emergency on Mexican drug cartels to get funding for the border wall.

Via Law and Crime:

As it turns out, back in 2011 then-President Barack Obama issued an executive order “blocking property of transnational criminal organizations organizations.” Obama cited his authority as granted through the Constitution to invoke the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, 50 U.S.C. 1701, and the National Emergencies Act, 50 U.S.C. 1601. The latter is the same legislation that Trump is citing to get funding for the wall to achieve his immigration reform goals. That executive order targeted a number of criminal organizations, including the Mexican Los Zetas cartel, an ally of the MS-13 gang President Trump has regularly called out as a danger to Americans.

“Drugs, gangs and people — an invasion,” Trump said on Friday. “We have an invasion coming into this country.”

Trump all but thanked his predecessor on Friday.

“We may be using one of the national emergencies that [Obama] signed having to do with criminal cartels… it’s a very good national emergency… we’re going to be using parts of it,” he said.
