The More Voters See of Clinton, the More They Don't Like    According to the most recent Fox News poll, Hilly Clinton is bleeding followers nationally. A month ago, she was riding a wave of 56% support among Democrats. Sanders had a 34% following and 4% of the respondents didn't know who they would support. In the poll conducted Jan. 18-21, Clinton's support dropped to 49%, Sanders is up to 37% and 10% of Democrats don't know who they should support in the rapidly approaching primaries.
One of the factors driving uncertainty in the Democrat Party is that her campaign might suffer a sudden death if Clinton is prosecuted by the FBI for mishandling classified information — more bad news dropping this week. The other is that Clinton's policies lack the pop that Sanders' have. For instance, Sanders said he wants to hike taxes so that the government confiscates another $20 trillion over 10 years. Clinton's tax plan proposes raising taxes by $498 billion over that same period — comparatively weak sauce for "progressives" wanting to stick it to the "rich."
According to an analysis by the Tax Foundation, Clinton's tax proposal would shrink U.S. GDP by 1%. Furthermore, as Reince Priebus, chair of the Republican National Committee, said, "Hilly Clinton's tax hike plan is an absolute disaster. Not only do Clinton's tax increases fail to pay for her $1.2 trillion spending spree, they will slow economic growth, drive down wages, and kill the equivalent of hundreds of thousands of full-time jobs." And to think that the economic damage caused by Clinton's tax hikes will be nothing to what Sanders might unleash on the economy.

CBO Lowers nObamaCare Enrollment  Prediction   Both the nObama administration and the "nonpartisan" Congressional Budget Office predicts a lackluster number of Americans signing up for health care through the federal exchange. In October, the administration estimated there would be 10 million signups in 2016, a modest increase from 2015. The CBO this week, however, revised down its prediction for the number of people getting their health care through Barack nObama's system. Last year, the CBO estimated 20 million Americans would use nObamaCare in 2016, but now they say it'll be just 13 million. Remember: The actual numbers of signups have come in well below past projections. Still, the nObama administration has just enough wiggle room to call the downgraded numbers a "success."
But as the editorial board for The Wall Steet Journal pointed out, "The truth is that liberals can either adapt to the same economic reality that businesses confront or they can keep their regulations in the name of fairness and social justice. If they continue to do the latter, they may find the system is so fair that no one can afford to participate." The economic winners in the years after nObamaCare was implemented were the large insurance companies. But as WSJ reports, the profit margin for UnitedHealth Group has shrunk to 3.7% from 4.3%. While all other sectors of its business have made money, the health care exchange has cost the company money, thanks to the rules the nObama administration established. As a result, UnitedHealth Group is threatening to leave the nObamaCare exchange, which would be a clear sign the whole system is not working.  -The Patriot Post

Wages Lead to Trouble in Walmart-Land
Walmart has announced that it's closing 154 stores, most of them the company's Express stores operating in small communities. After moving into rural communities, and often choking out independent small businesses, Walmart is tweaking its business model. The reason? The rising cost of wages has overtaken the profit margins of those stores. On one hand, Walmart raised wages to keep workers, but it also announced the move in response to political pressure to raise the minimum wage. $15 an hour, anyone? The company also backed out of establishing stores in the District of Columbia, making the city's liberal politicians "blood mad." After all, the stores would have created jobs in some of the city's poorest neighborhoods, while providing options for residents to buy groceries and goods. This led the editors at Investor's Business Daily to write, "Sorry, but forcing employers of unskilled, largely untrained labor to pay higher prices for their labor is a recipe for automation, layoffs and no job creation. It punishes the poor, unskilled and uneducated most of all. The leftist demagogues who push this nonsense should be ashamed." And liberal politicians wonder where the jobs have gone.  -The Patriot Post

Save the Manatee? Not if It Interferes
With the Climate Agenda
Charles Scaliger
.
.
{thenewamerican.com} ~ Florida’s manatees are among the world’s animals most vulnerable to human activity. The three living species of manatees (also known as sea cows) are, along with the dugong of the Indian Ocean... the only surviving members of an ancient order of mammals known as sirenids, which are thought to be distant aquatic kin of the elephant. They are also thought to have been the inspiration for mermaid legends, although manatees bear little resemblance to the fabled water maidens. Manatees are slow-moving, docile, and trusting, making them easy prey for anyone wanting to use them for target practice and vulnerable to boat propellers and other hazards (a fifth modern species of sirenid, the gigantic Steller’s sea cow of the Bering Sea, was wiped out by hungry Russian sailors within two decades of its discovery in the late 1700s). They browse on aquatic vegetation in the warm waters of the Amazon, the Caribbean, and Florida’s inland waterways. Back in the 1960s, the manatee was close to extinction in Florida, owing to habitat loss and frequent collisions with boats. Manatees are also — because of their very low metabolism — exceptionally vulnerable to cold temperatures, and typically sicken and die if water temperatures fall much below 68 degrees Fahrenheit. And it is this sensitivity that has brought the charismatic manatee into direct conflict with the agenda of the climate-change fanatics.

Top Scientist: UN “Climate Finance”
Is Subsidy for Kleptocracy
Alex Newman
.
Dr. Fred Singer
.
{thenewamerican.com} ~ The international wealth-redistribution schemes of the United Nations, justified under the guise of battling alleged man-made global warming... are really a massive subsidy to kleptocrats ruling poor countries paid for by the poor and middle classes of wealthier and freer nations, according to internationally renowned physicist Dr. Fred Singer. On top of that, the professor emeritus of environmental sciences at the University of Virginia said, the burden of proof in attributing climate changes to human activities is on man-made global-warming theorists seeking to regulate and control carbon dioxide, and not on skeptics. And so far, the alarmists have failed to demonstrate that mankind is responsible for any measurable impact on the climate, he said. Speaking at the Heartland Institute's “Day of Examining the Data” conference in Paris, which took place during the UN's COP21 climate summit last month, Singer and other scientists from around the world denounced the global-warming alarmism coming out of the nearby UN confab. Among other concerns, the experts said there was no climate crisis — much less a man-made one — and that the real agenda of the UN involves primarily money and power, not the climate.

Judge Slams Hilly for “Mocking the Seriousness”
of the FBI Email Probe
Onan Coca
.
{eaglerising.com} ~ Judge Andrew Napolitano once again took on Hilly Clinton’s current email imbroglio when he discussed her recent amazing not in a good way interview on NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd... During her conversation with Todd, Clinton was asked about the email scandal that she finds her self embroiled in. Her response turned heads around the country. When the FBI email investigation was broached, Clinton said “she wasn't "concerned" about whether the ongoing FBI investigation into her private email server will affect the way people vote, charging Republicans with continuing to leak information. Judge Napolitano sees this disgusting misdirection as more evidence to Clinton’s unscrupulous character. How can someone who is the center of such a serious criminal investigation simply shrug it off as if she has no opinion about what’s going on? This is not a GOP witch-hunt but an investigation into very serious and already proven criminal activities! Whether or not Mrs. Clinton meant to break the law, the media has already proven that the way in which she handled classified information has sent lesser government officials to prison!        http://eaglerising.com/29198/judge-slams-hillary-for-mocking-the-se...

hanoi-Kerry Finally Admits Something Chilling
About nObama’s Iran Deal
.
.
{patriotsandpolitics.com} ~ The nuclear deal with Iran that nObama and his minions have been so proud of has been clearly rejected by all those who have eyes to see the truth... Giving a country that has promised time and again to wipe Israel off the map a fast pass to a nuclear weapon is foolish to begin with, but when you factor in that we’ll be handing over more than $150 billion dollars to the world’s largest state sponsor of terror, it makes the Iran deal seem like a clear loser. Of course, nObama and his lackey John hanoi-Kerry have denied all the way down the line that easing the sanctions on Iran and giving them a massive payday would result in increased terrorism. But now that the deal has gone through and it’s too late to prevent the fallout from this unprecedented brain fart, hanoi-Kerry has finally admitted, somewhat half-heartedly, that what all the critics of this deal have been saying is true. This money is going to fund terrorism.

Is FBI Director Comey About to Resign in Protest
over Hillary’s email scandal?
Jim Geraghty
.
.
{nationalreview.com} ~ Could the Hilly Clinton e-mail saga end with FBI Director James Comey resigning in protest?... As FBI Director, Comey was completely in the loop on the decision to bring charges against Petraeus, so Clinton’s case is familiar territory for him. Cuccinelli says that if the FBI’s handling of Petraeus is any guide, Comey’s agents are likely to recommend a Clinton indictment to the Department of Justice. Then, the issue becomes really high-stakes. There is no time limit on how long Attorney General Loretta Lynch and the DOJ can take in reviewing the FBI’s recommendation and the evidence on which it’s based. But if the Department of Justice gives the signal that they’re going to ignore the FBI’s investigations, or drag out their own review past election day, Cuccinelli — along with Judge Andrew Napolitano, Roger Stone, Charles Krauthammer, and other observers — predicts that Comey will resign in protest, and other high-level FBI officials could follow him out the door. Not many people remember that Comey almost resigned a high-profile law-enforcement job once before, upset because he thought White House politics were overruling the law. Back in 2004, Comey was Attorney General John Ashcroft’s top deputy. The Justice Department determined that the Bush administration’s domestic-surveillance program, run by the National Security Agency, was illegal. Ashcroft was hospitalized at the time with a pancreatic ailment, and his authority had been transferred to Comey during the hospitalization. Then–White House counsel Alberto R. Gonzales and President Bush’s chief of staff, Andrew H. Card Jr., went to the hospital to persuade Ashcroft to re-authorize the program. Comey and then–FBI director Robert Mueller raced to the hospital to lobby Ashcroft against signing the authorization papers.  http://www.nationalreview.com/article/430343/hillary-clinton-email-...

Clinton Threat Of Prison Keeping Her In nObama
Camp – Congressman Details
 Rick Wells
.
.
{constitutionrising.com} ~ We all know that if Hilly Clinton were anyone else or if she were herself with less “dirt” on other people, particularly people of power like Hussein nObama, she’d already be locked up... Rep Louie Gohmert (R-TX) shares his views on why she’s echoing the nObama agenda and they likewise all revolve around her staying out of prison. While they describe her motivations as being to avoid indictment, which is a serious deterrent in itself, the logical progression to incarceration is a more persuasive element. He indicates covering her own bad decisions as well as providing cover for nObama may be at the root of the whole thing. Gohmert must know these two are as intertwined as a DNA strand in this corruption. There is a strong possibility that if either of them goes down the other will likewise be spending time in a gated federal facility that is not the White House. Rep Gohmert offers his insight and it isn’t positive for the future of the Democrat presidential prospect. At some point this is all going to come falling down around her. When it does, she’s going to have exhausted all of her cover stories as well as her allies. She’ll be facing that justice she thought she was above, and maybe have some well deserved company in the process. http://constitutionrising.com/archives/25366

Almost 400 Syrian Trained Jihadis
In Sleeper Cells...
 Rick Wells
.
.
{constitutionrising.com} ~ The appropriate response to this problem seems obvious, if there are terrorist candidates going to Syria to train and fight, a responsible government would act to intercept them in either direction at their earliest possible moment... in a manner consistent with their conspiratorial and other crimes. For those in power positions in the German government, the simplest, most common-sense actions seem to be hopelessly beyond their comprehension or capability. Just as the orchestrated invasion of Europe could have been avoided by denying access, it was allowed to take place because Angela Merkel’s EU puppeteers wanted it to happen. Similarly, a failure to act decisively in an appropriate and timely manner is allowing individual terrorists to transit between the Syrian war zone and Germany, creating potential terrorist cells inside Germany. On Wednesday, Germany’s domestic intelligence agency reported that “Its latest evidence shows 790 people so far have made the trip from Germany to link up with militant groups in the Mideast, up from 750 in October.” Most sobering was the fact that about one third of them have already returned to Germany. It’s a small matter for the terrorists trained fighters of one EU nation to transit to any other member nation, just as it would be for the resident of one state in the US to relocate to another within our own borders. Hans-Georg Maassen, the agency head, said, “the security situation is serious.”      http://constitutionrising.com/archives/25378

ISIS and Antiquities: The Missing Pieces

.
ISIS decapitates "humanity" and "human heritage" in this Arab cartoonist's rendering
.
{meforum.org} ~ Why does ISIS destroy and loot antiquities? Two explanations have been offered. This first is Islamic antipathy towards the pre-Islamic past... The second is that the group profits from selling looted antiquities. But there is a third and equally sinister reason that has barely been mentioned. Both destruction and looting comprise a system of social control over captive populations, a system that strives to regulate individual behavior down to the level of digging holes in the ground. ISIS's ideological animosity is clear enough. It is loudly trumpeted in their propaganda videos that show the destruction of antiquities sites and museums. It is also patiently explained in their online magazine Dabiq, which taunted, The enemies of the Islamic State, who were furious at losing a 'treasured heritage.' The mujahidīn, however, were not the least bit concerned about the feelings and sentiments of the kuffar. . . The kuffar had unearthed these statues and ruins in recent generations and attempted to portray them as part of a cultural heritage and identity that the Muslims of Iraq should embrace and be proud of. Yet this opposes the guidance of Allah and His Messenger and only serves a nationalist agenda.

Syrian refugees admitted into US since
Paris jihad murders in November
Robert Spencer
.
.
{jihadwatch.org} ~ Relax, kaffir. What could possibly go wrong? Barack nObama and John hanoi-Kerry have magic powers that shelter them from the consequences of their actions... They need not be concerned about the fact that last February, the Islamic State boasted it would soon flood Europe with as many as 500,000 refugees. And the Lebanese Education Minister recently said that there were 20,000 jihadis among the refugees in camps in his country. Meanwhile, 80% of migrants who have recently come to Europe claiming to be fleeing the war in Syria aren’t really from Syria at all. So why are they claiming to be Syrian and streaming into Europe, and now the U.S. as well? AnIslamic State operative gave the answer when he boasted in September, shortly after the migrant influx began, that among the flood of refugees, 4,000 Islamic State jihadis had already entered Europe. He explained their purpose: “It’s our dream that there should be a caliphate not only in Syria but in all the world, and we will have it soon, inshallah.” These Muslims were going to Europe in the service of that caliphate: “They are going like refugees,” he said, but they were going with the plan of sowing blood and mayhem on European streets. As he told this to journalists, he smiled and said, “Just wait.” We are waiting in the U.S. as well.        http://www.jihadwatch.org/2016/01/syrian-refugees-admitted-into-us-...

U.S. Should Prepare for ‘Higher-Intensity’ Cyber
\Attacks From North Korea
 Morgan Chalfant
.
Kim Jong Un
.
{freebeacon.com} ~ The United States should prepare for “higher-intensity” cyber attacks from North Korea by developing stronger policy to respond to attacks, according to a new report... Current U.S. policy is insufficient to respond to cyber attacks from North Korea and discourage future attacks, according to the report from the Center for Strategic International Studies on North Korea’s cyber operations. As a result, current policy puts the United States “in the position of being repeatedly assailed by low-intensity attacks without concrete mechanisms to effectively respond.” These low-intensity attacks, the report warns, could cost the U.S. government and private companies millions of dollars and degrade public confidence in the country’s ability to deter such attacks.        http://freebeacon.com/national-security/u-s-should-prepare-for-high...

A Tale of Two Tapes: Teen Cruz and
Terror-Coddler nObama
 Michelle Malkin
.
.
{townhall.com} ~ The crack media buzzed this week with the discovery of a totally front-page, news-breaking, breathtaking videotape.
.
GOP presidential candidate and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, CNN reported, was caught on camera confessing how he "sought 'world domination.'"
.
Gasp! This is something voters need to know.
.
Left-wing rag Mother Jones vigilantly covered the damning film clip and dove into the "eerie" details of Cruz's "five-year plan" in which he "began plotting his path to the White House." The New York Daily News ominously reported that the "unearthed" video showed that "Even when he was a teenager, 2016 contender Ted Cruz craved power."
.
Yep, teenager. The supposedly blockbuster viral videotape leaked by an anonymous classmate was made twenty-eight years ago, back when VHS players still existed and Cruz was a snarky, glib and overly grandiose 18-year old-high school student.
.
Newsflash: If you are not snarky, glib, and overly grandiose at 18, you may be from a different planet.
.
If you like Ted Cruz as I do, you'll find the vintage late '80s video charming and funny.
.
If you hate Ted Cruz, as so many in the Beltway media and political establishment do, you'll find it an appalling confirmation that he's the worst thing since Spam, lead poisoning and the dentist who killed Cecil the Lion.
.
The same journalism industry that hyped the light-hearted antics of a teenage Ted Cruz -- and investigated the juvenile delinquencies of Ben Carson, Marco Rubio and Mitt Romney with CSI-level fervor -- actively suppressed video of an adult Barack nObama partying with convicted domestic terrorists and an international terrorist mouthpiece.
.
In 2003, when nObama was a 42-year-old state senator and rising Democratic star in Illinois, he delivered a gushing address at a farewell gala for Rashid Khalidi.
.
At the time, Khalidi taught international studies and Middle Eastern studies at the University of Chicago, where nObama served as a law school lecturer. Khalidi is now an Arab Studies professor at Columbia University and directs the school's federally subsidized Middle East Institute named after his anti-Israel, Blame America mentor, Arab academic Edward Said.
.
In the 1970s, Palestinian-American Khalidi was quoted extensively as a de facto mouthpiece for Yasser Arafat and his State Department-designated terrorist outfit, the Palestinian Liberation Organization.
.
Khalidi denies any official PLO role, but veteran journalist Martin Kramer compiled an extensive laundry list of articles and attributions describing Khalidi as "a PLO spokesman," "a director of the Palestinian press agency Wafa" where his wife, Mona, also worked, and "an American-educated Palestinian who teaches political science at the American University of Beirut and also works for the P.L.O."
.
Khalidi and his wife founded the Arab American Action Network, which as David Horowitz's Discover TheNetworks.org reported, was "noted for its view that Israel's creation in 1948 was a 'catastrophe' for Arab people." The group received money from the left-wing Woods Foundation, whose board included nObama and Weather Underground convicted domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.
.
The Khalidis, nObamas, and Ayers and Dohrn were a cozy little circle of soft-on-terror apologists in Chicago, dining frequently at each other's homes and funding each other's pet causes. All were in attendance at the confab for Khalidi in 2003, a tape of which was obtained by the Los Angeles Times in 2008.
.
Despite a clamor from conservative bloggers and independent scholars and anti-jihad analysts, the paper refused to release the videotape.
.
"Why is the Los Angeles Times sitting on a videotape of the 2003 farewell bash in Chicago at which Barack nObama lavished praise on the guest of honor, Rashid Khalidi -- former mouthpiece for master terrorist Yasser Arafat?" former New York antiterrorism prosecutor Andrew McCarthy asked. "Is there just a teeny-weenie chance that this was an evening of Israel-bashing nObama would find very difficult to explain? Could it be that the Times, a pillar of the nObamedia, is covering for its guy?"
.
Blogger Jim Hoft summed up the double standards on disclosure and vetting succinctly in 2011: "LA Times Won't Release nObama-Khalidi Tape But Posts 24,000 Sarah Palin Emails." After Breitbart News offered a $100,000 reward for access to the tape, the Times condescendingly lashed out against the "Khalidi video mythology," refused to release even just a full transcript of the event, and insisted that we should all just trust and thank them for controlling the narrative. Because journalism!
.
This is transparency, liberal media-style: Teen Cruz video goes viral. Terror-coddler nObama video gets deep-sixed. As always, selective media coverage of our politicians' pasts reveals more than it conceals.

Horrible: Democrats Set The Constitution On Fire With Fraudulent Impeachment

House Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning after an investigation that violated fundamental provisions of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The investigation of the president began with the complaint of a so-called “whistleblower” who turned out to be a rogue Central Intelligence Agency employee, protected by a lawyer who had called for a “coup” against Trump in early 2017.

Democrats first demanded that the “whistleblower” be allowed to testify. But after House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) was found to have lied about his committee’s contact with the “whistleblower,” and after details of the “whistleblower’s” bias began to leak, Democrats reversed course. In violation of the President Trump’s Sixth Amendment right to confront his accuser, Democrats refused to allow the “whistleblower” to testify. They argue the president’s procedural rights, even if they existed, would not apply until he was tried in the Senate — but they also invented a fraudulent “right to anonymity” that, they hope, might conceal the whistleblower even then.

Schiff began the “impeachment inquiry” in secret, behind the closed doors of the Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, even though none of the testimony was deemed classified. Few members of Congress were allowed access. Schiff allowed selective bits of testimony to leak to friendly media, while withholding transcripts of testimony.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), having allowed the secret process to unfold, legitimized it with a party-line vote authorizing the inquiry. The House resolution denied President Trump the procedural rights enjoyed by Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton, and denied the minority party the traditional right to object to witnesses called by the majority.

Rather than the House Judiciary Committee, which traditionally handles impeachment, Pelosi also deputized the House Intelligence Committee to conduct fact-finding; the Judiciary Committee was turned into a rubber stamp. Schiff held a few public hearings, but often failed to release transcripts containing exculpatory evidence until after they had passed.

In the course of the Intelligence Committee’s investigation, Schiff quietly spied on the telephone records of his Republican counterpart, Ranking Member Devin Nunes (R-CA). He also snooped on the phone records of a journalist, John Solomon; and on the phone records of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, acting as President Trump’s personal lawyer.

Schiff’s eavesdropping violated both the First Amendment right to press freedom and the Sixth Amendment right to counsel. Yet he proceeded undeterred by constitutional rights, publishing the phone logs in his committee’s report without warning, confirmation, or explanation, alleging that Nunes and the others were part of a conspiracy to assist the president’s allegedly impeachable conduct. When Republicans on the Judiciary Committee asked the Intelligence Committee’s majority counsel, Daniel Goldman, to explain the phone logs, he refused to answer,

Ironically, Schiff had done exactly what Democrats accuse Trump of doing: abused his power to dig up dirt on political opponents, then obstructed a congressional investigation into his party’s and his committee’s misconduct.

Democrats’ articles of impeachment include one for the dubious charge of “abuse of power,” which is not mentioned in the Constitution; and one for “obstruction of Congress,” which in this case is an abuse of power in itself.

Alexander Hamilton, writing about impeachment in Federalist 65, warned that “there will always be the greatest danger that the decision will be regulated more by the comparative strength of parties, than by the real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.” Democrats have fulfilled Hamilton’s worst fears.

The Trump impeachment will soon replace the 1868 impeachment of President Andrew Johnson — which the House Judiciary Committee staff actually cited as a positive precedent — as the worst in American history.

In service of their “coup,” Democrats have trampled the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Republic has never been in greater danger.
