Sixteen women sue FBI, allege gender
discrimination at Quantico training academy
by Lucia I. Suarez Sang
foxnews.com } ~ A group of female former FBI recruits is suing the bureau for alleged gender discrimination... accusing the agency of allowing a “good old boy network” to flourish at its training academy. The 16 women, seven of whom still work at the FBI, filed a lawsuit Wednesday in Washington claiming the bureau subjected them to a hostile work environment and outdated gender stereotypes as well as punished them with a review process biased towards males and overt sexual harassment. Each of the women had been training to become special agents during the time they allege the discrimination occurred. “In many cases, the harassment and discrimination take the form of gender-plus discrimination, in that women of color or who have disabilities are excessively singled out for adverse treatment,” the lawsuit states. “Those female trainees who were offered other FBI employment were forced to take positions several grades lower than their previous grade or experience justified.” According to the lawsuit, the women claim the FBI intentionally allowed the “Good Old Boy Network” to flourish unrestrained at the academy, its influence seen in subjective evaluations by mostly male instructors who dismissed female trainees “at a rate significantly and disproportionately higher than their male counterparts.” One of the women, who asked to be identified as “Ava,” told NBC News the agents at the FBI’s training academy in Quantico, Virginia, made her feel “worthless and disposable.” The lawsuit comes as the FBI – a historically male-dominated law enforcement agency – has been trying to increase the number of female agents in its ranks. The plaintiffs, who were trainees at Quantico between 2015 and 2018, estimate 80 percent of the trainees from their classes discharged prior to graduation were female. According to statistics provided by the FBI, the average graduating class has been about 20 percent female. In fiscal year 2019 to date, however, females have accounted for 32 percent of the enrollment in the training course. “If it was currently based on merit, we wouldn’t be filing a lawsuit,” Clare Coetzer told NBC News. “They pick and choose who they want to leave.”...  https://www.foxnews.com/us/sixteen-women-sue-fbi-allege-gender-disc...

Democrats want to tax the wealthy,
but not in blue states
by Tom Rogan
washingtonexaminer.com } ~ Here's a question: if Democrats want "Medicare for all," much increased college tuition support, and a "Green New Deal," how can they possibly backtrack... on the mild tax hike that President Trump's tax bill imposed on wealthy citizens in blue states? I'm referring to the reduced state and local tax deduction caps under the 2017 Republican tax reform legislation. The SALT deduction, as it is known, forced federal income taxpayers in states such as Florida and Tennessee, which don't have state income taxes, to pay proportionally more to the federal government than residents of states with high income taxes. That was wrong. By capping the deduction and lowering rates for everyone, Trump's tax bill made the system fairer, reducing taxes overall while eliminating a massive loophole for very wealthy individuals in high-tax states. But I find it amusing, as CNBC notes, Democrats from high state income tax California, New Jersey, New York, and Illinois are working to increase the SALT caps. In other words, Democrats are now working urgently to cut tax bills for high-earners in Westchester, N.Y., Lake, III., and Los Angeles, Calif., counties. This is hilarious. After all, if Democrats are unable to persuade high-earners in their own states that they should pay the same proportional amount of federal income taxes as other high-earners in other states, they will surely struggle to persuade those same individuals to pay thru-the-roof income taxes under a future Democratic administration so that we can afford "Medicare for all." But that's exactly what the new Democratic consensus requires. "Medicare for all," free college tuition, a $93 trillion "Green New Deal," and other Democratic pet projects will require multiple trillions of dollars in new spending. The rich cannot pay for it all, in either moral or mathematical terms, but the SALT caps illustrate Democrats' great problem. Namely, that capital has never been more mobile, and it tends to evacuate states that Democrats control for long periods.

Mueller Sets Dumpster On
Fire On His Way Out The Door
by Eric Buckley
{uspoliticsandnews.com} ~ Special Counsel Robert Mueller has retired. He says his report on the investigation into alleged “Russian interference” in the 2016 election is his final testimony... and therefore he will not be speaking before Congress. Then, in typical Mueller fashion, he took several back-handed swipes at the president, told several lies, invented a brand-new legal standard in Western jurisprudence, and all but begged Congress to impeach the Bad Orange Man who haunts every waking moment of all the Deep State bureaucrats in the Beltway. Fanning the flames of impeachment while dodging any personal responsibility as a professional law enforcement agent seems to have been Mueller’s intent. Mueller stated during his retirement speech, “Under long-standing department policy, a president cannot be charged with a federal crime while he’s in office… Charging the president with a crime was not an option we could therefore consider.” In a particularly bizarre statement that turns the entire American system of justice on its head, Mueller said, “If we had confidence that the president did not commit a crime, we would have said so.” Playing games with legal standards and the rule of law like this is maddening to anyone who has ever paid attention to these things. Here is the effect of what Mueller is saying: Suppose a bank was robbed in Hollywood yesterday. Trump has an alibi – he was in Washington, DC at the time of the robbery. Mueller announces that while he cannot prove that Trump robbed the bank, he cannot conclusively say that Trump did not rob the bank. This is madness. A prosecutor’s duty is to prove the guilt of a person accused of a crime. It’s not Robert Mueller’s job to say that Trump did not commit a crime. President Trump is innocent until proven guilty. Mueller’s duty was to prove Trump’s guilt or shut up and walk away, because Trump is still, to this day, innocent. Instead, Mueller has muddied the waters by suggesting, “Well, maybe he did something, so Congress had better impeach the Bad Orange Man.”...

Sorry, Alarmists, Climate Chaos Is Not Here
by David Harsanyi
{thefederalist.com} ~ Climate isn’t the same as weather—unless, of course, weather happens to be politically useful... In that case, weather portends climate apocalypse. So warns Elizabeth dinky-Warren as she surveyed Iowan rainstorms, which she claims, like tornadoes and floods, are more frequent and severe. “Different parts of the country deal with different climate issues,” Rep. comkie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D–Malthusia) cautioned as she too warned of extreme tornadoes. “But ALL of these threats will be increasing in intensity as climate crisis grows and we fail to act appropriately.” Sen. Jeff Merkley (D–Ore.) recently sent a fundraising email warning Democrats that climate change was causing “growing mega-fires, extremely destructive hurricanes, and horrific flooding” in which “American lives are at stake.” Even if we pretend that passing a bazillion-dollar authoritarian Green New Deal would do anything to change the climate, there is no real-world evidence that today’s weather is increasingly threatening to human lives. By every quantifiable measure, in fact, we’re much safer despite the cataclysmal framing of every weather-related event. How many of those taken in by alarmism realize that deaths from extreme weather have dropped somewhere around 99.9 percent since the 1920s? Heat and cold can still be killers, but thanks to increasingly reliable and affordable heating and cooling systems, and other luxuries of the age, the vast majority of Americans will never have to fear the climate in any genuine way. Since 1980, death caused by all natural disasters and heat and cold is somewhere under 0.5 percent. It’s true that 2019 has seen a spike in tornadoes, but mostly because 2018 was the first year recorded without a single violent tornado in the United States. Tornadoes killed 10 Americans in 2018, the fewest since we started keeping track of these things in 1875, only four years after the nefarious combustion engine was invented. After a few devastating hurricanes around a decade ago, we were similarly warned that it was a prelude to endless storms and ecological disaster. This was followed by nine years without a single major hurricane in the United States. Or, in other words, six fewer hurricanes than we experienced in 1908 alone...  https://thefederalist.com/2019/05/30/sorry-alarmists-climate-chaos-...

Guatemalan cartel busted
by S.Noble
independentsentinel.com } ~ Homeland Security agents and Guatemalan authorities busted a significant smuggling organization Wednesday... arresting nine people who were involved in transporting thousands of illegal immigrants from across the globe through Latin America and into the U.S., The Washington Times reported. That’s great, but according to Prensalibre that comes down to 800 migrants a year for a value of $10 million dollars. There are two important points to make here. First, 4,000 to 5,000 are now pouring into the U.S. on some days, and 800 migrants a year truly is a drop in the bucket. Second, you can see the money the cartels are making on 5,000 migrants in a day if 800 a year is worth $10 million dollars. Prensalibre writes: “According to the MP, the criminal structure would have mobilized about 800 migrants per year through Guatemalan territory and would have obtained illicit profits of up to US $10 million.” The open borders Democrats are facilitating serious crime in this country and many of these transnational criminals live among us.Thank a Democrat or a RINO. Authorities dubbed the Guatemalan operation the Merida organization, after Lidia Fausta Merida-Lopez, the ringleader. The organization facilitated the smuggling of people from Guatemala, elsewhere in Central America and South America, Cuba, and even from terrorist-connected countries such as Somalia and Pakistan. “They’ve moved thousands of people,” the official said. “They’re diverse, they’re connected and linked to narcotics smuggling organizations, they’re truly a transnational criminal organization.”...

Revoke worthless-Ilhan Omar's Marriage Fraud Immunity Card

Michelle Malkin

If you are not a member of the Democrats’ protected class of bitter loudmouths who hate America, you can be investigated and prosecuted for marriage fraud. The headlines have been filled with recent crackdowns.

In Texas last week, 96 people were indicted on federal charges of conspiring to defraud our immigration system by arranging phony unions between American citizens and sham spouses in Vietnam.

In Bridgeport, Connecticut, three men pleaded guilty to participating in fraudulent marriages with noncitizens and sponsoring them for green cards under false pretenses.

At Fort Bragg in North Carolina last month, two soldiers and two African immigrants were indicted by a grand jury related to a scheme involving an entire ring of service members who attempted to match female soldiers with foreigners from Ghana and Nigeria. They each face between 15-35 years in federal prison and $250,000 in fines each.

In Alabama, an Indian national pleaded guilty to arranging 80 fake marriages using U.S. citizen recruits to bail out Indian foreign nationals who had overstayed their visas or Student Exchange Visitor Program requirements.

You wouldn’t know it from the radio silence of Democratic leaders regarding radioactive Minnesota Rep. worthless-Ilhan Omar’s long-festering and bizarre bigamy scheme (which she still refuses to address), but marriage fraud is a federal felony. As the Department of Homeland Security makes clear, it is a serious crime — not a victimless, harmless infraction — that “weakens our nation’s security and makes us less safe.”

No kidding. I have long documented the national security consequences of marriage fraud by deadly jihadists:

Eight Mideastern men who plotted to bomb New York landmarks in 1993 all obtained green cards and permanent legal residence by marrying U.S. citizens.

El Sayyid A. Nosair put a ring on American Karen Ann Mills Sweeney’s finger to avoid deportation for overstaying his visa. He acquired U.S. citizenship, allowing him to remain in the country, and was later convicted for conspiracy in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing that claimed six lives.

Top Osama bin Laden aide Ali Mohamed became a U.S. citizen after marrying a woman he met on a plane trip from Egypt to New York. He was convicted for his role in the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings in Africa that killed 12 Americans and more than 200 others.

A year after 9/11, Homeland Security officials cracked a vast Middle Eastern marriage-fraud ring for illegal immigrants in “Operation Broken Vows” that stretched from Boston to South Carolina to California.

Faisal Shahzad, the 2010 Times Square bomb plotter, married an American woman, Huma Mian, in 2008 after spending a decade in the country on foreign student and employment visas.

Anyone capable of and willing to lie to federal officials in face-to-face interviews, falsify government forms under penalty of perjury, and conspire to undermine the integrity of our immigration system is a threat to our country. Terrorism is not the only concern. Other complex criminal organizations are often involved. Even nations governed by open borders loons like Canada’s Justin Trudeau take marriage fraud seriously. Last week, the government moved to strip a Chinese national of his fraudulently acquired Canadian citizenship after paying a woman $5,000 to enter a sham marriage.

We have enough native-born scam artists and fraudsters without having to import more from around the world. But you know what’s even more of an insult than an ordinary foreign marriage faker? An entitled, arrogant and unrepentant marriage faker hiding behind the “Islamophobia” and “sexism” cards. Yes, I’m looking at you, worthless-Omar.

Investigations dating back to 2016 by blogger Scott Johnson of Power Line (which recently celebrated 15 years in the blogosphere), David North of the Center for Immigration Studies, Alpha News reporter Preya Samsundar and PJMedia.com reporter David Steinberg have determined that the outspoken Somalian Muslim refugee likely married her own brother named Ahmed Elmi in 2009 for some unknown ill-gotten gain while still informally married to the man she calls her husband and father of her three children, Ahmed Hirsi. After a Somalian website floated questions about the marriage arrangement with Elmi and Johnson’s initial reporting broke into the local news, Omar sought to divorce Elmi. Her use of $6,000 in state campaign funds, some of which went to pay a personal divorce lawyer, is currently under state investigation.

Social media posts, photographic evidence and publicly available biographical data strongly suggest that Elmi (now living in London) and worthless-Omar are siblings with the same father. Many of the pair’s Instagram and Facebook comments to each other have been deleted. worthless-Omar’s staff and lawyer have rebuked questions about the arrangement as “categorically ridiculous and false” and suggested that truth-seekers in the matter are “people who do not want an East African, Muslim woman elected to office.” For good measure, worthless-Omar has decried “Trump-style misogyny, racism, anti-immigration rhetoric and Islamophobic division.”

Hey, I’m not the one who bragged last week that worthless-Omar, a naturalized American citizen, brought “the perspective of a foreigner” to her role on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. That was Rep. worthless-Omar. Perhaps she’ll share her “foreign perspective” on how any other sane nation would handle an elected official who won’t answer questions about possible felony immigration fraud while sitting on a sensitive legislative panel. I’m all ears.  ~The Patriot Post

JUST IN->  Pelosi Announces House Resolution To Condemn Trump’s ‘Racist, Xenophobic Tweets’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced Monday that Democrats will offer a resolution condemning President Donald Trump’s “racist” tweets against Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN).

Pelosi wrote a letter to House Democrats announcing that they will draft a resolution to condemn Trump’s “racist” tweets against progressive Democrats.

“This weekend, the President went beyond his own low standards using disgraceful language about Members of Congress,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi wrote.

“This morning, the President doubled down on his attacks on our four colleagues suggesting they apologize to him,” she added. “Let me be clear, our Caucus will continue to forcefully respond to these disgusting attacks.”

President Trump taunted the “squad” of far-left first-term progressive Democrats on Sunday, telling them to go back and fix the places they came from before telling the rest of the country what to do.

Trump’s tweets caused an uproar amongst the media and Hollywood celebrity classes, and now, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D–TX) hopes to capitalize on the president’s message by condemning them in Congress.

Lee said she will draft a resolution of condemnation.

“Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee will be drafting a Resolution of Condemnation for the words used by President Trump about four members of the House of Representatives over the weekend,” Jackson Lee’s office wrote:

Donald J. Trump  @realDonaldTrump

....it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!

President Trump’s remarks seemed particularly directed at Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who is a former Somalian refugee.

Omar said Friday that the president “shouldn’t be in office” and told an audience of high school students that America was failing to uphold its promise to be a just society.

Rep. Omar said Trump was “stoking white nationalism” after he tweeted that some progressive congresswomen should “go back” to where they came from.

“You are stoking white nationalism because you are angry that people like us are serving in Congress and fighting against your hate-filled agenda,” Omar wrote:

Ilhan Omar  @IlhanMN

As Members of Congress, the only country we swear an oath to is the United States.

Which is why we are fighting to protect it from the worst, most corrupt and inept president we have ever seen. https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1150381394234941448

“America's answer to the intolerant man is diversity, the very diversity which our heritage of religious freedom has inspired.” -RFK

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez claimed Monday that President Trump’s remarks serve as the “hallmark language of white supremacists.”

President Trump tweeted Monday that Democrats need to apologize for the “foul language” and “terrible things they have said”:

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

When will the Radical Left Congresswomen apologize to our Country, the people of Israel and even to the Office of the President, for the foul language they have used, and the terrible things they have said. So many people are angry at them & their horrible & disgusting actions!

Donald J. Trump  @realDonaldTrump

If Democrats want to unite around the foul language & racist hatred spewed from the mouths and actions of these very unpopular & unrepresentative Congresswomen, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I can tell you that they have made Israel feel abandoned by the U.S.
