Sessions Ponders 2nd Special Counsel – Still Defending Wray, Rosenstein, DOJ Deep State" width="410" height="174" />
{ } ~ Attorney General Jeff Sessions has been facing increasing criticism for his failures to act in a timely manner... to issues of corruption within DOJ and the FBI, including his failure to examine the free pass given to liar-Hillary Clinton by James Comey and his inappropriate relationship and conduct jointly with former AG Loretta Lynch.  Fox News’ Shannon Bream interviewed Sessions while he was in California addressing their rebellious state government through a meeting of law enforcement officers, and asked him about his efforts to clean things up in his own DOJ house. She asks Sessions for his view on a letter sent by Reps Goodlatte and Gowdy asking for the appointment of a second special counsel in order to investigate the FISA abuses and other likely criminal conduct by Department of Justice and FBI officials... .
U.S. Short Almost 2,000 Mariners
to Supply American Forces in War" width="379" height="284" />
by John Grady
{ } ~ If push comes to shove, the U.S. doesn’t have enough mariners to move tanks, personnel carriers, ammunition, medicines, food and water into a hot zone in a prolonged crisis... the head of the Maritime Administration said Thursday. The U.S. is short about 1,800 mariners, Retired Rear Adm. Mark Buzby told a joint hearing of the House Armed Services readiness and seapower and projection forces subcommittees. That total doesn’t take into account casualties while operating in a contested environment, he said. In answer to a question from the panel, Air Force Gen. Darren McDew, head of Transportation Command, added, “We’ll have to fight our way in to get to the fight” and “we don’t control everything like we once did,” referring to air and sea, meaning potential loss of ships and crew. Although the number of qualified mariners is at a “historic low,” the decline may not have bottomed out...
More Taxpayer Bailouts Will Only Paper
Over liar-nObamacare’s Many Failures" width="375" height="195" />
by Robert Moffit
{ } ~ It appears that Congress, backed by powerful special interests in the health care industry, is getting ready to bail out, once again... liar-nObamacare’s failing health insurance program. Last year, President Donald Trump canceled the cost-sharing reduction subsidies for people buying coverage in the liar-nObamacare exchanges. These taxpayer subsidies offset the out-of-pocket costs of these enrollees. Trump’s horrified critics predicted that these spending cuts would mean millions would no longer be able to afford health insurance coverage.  In fact, Trump’s critics were quite wrong...

{ } ~ President Trump has agreed to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in response to an invitation... extended earlier today sent to the South Korean government. South Korean National Security Adviser Chung Eui-Yong recently led a delegation to Pyongyang which seems to be already bearing fruit. Chung told reporters that North Korea has stated their commitment to denuclearization, stating that Kim had expressed “his eagerness to meet President Trump as soon as possible.” He also announced the results, a positive response from the President, stating, “President Trump appreciated the greeting and said he would meet Kim Jong un by May to achieve permanent denuclearization.”... ." /> VIDEOS

Pruitt's $1 Billion Rollback at the EPA" width="454" height="227" />
by Business Review Board:  On Feb. 17, 2017, Scott Pruitt — formerly a conservative lawmaker and attorney general in Oklahoma — succeeded in becoming the new face of the EPA. Democrats didn’t take his ascension very well. In fact, Pruitt was forced to reinforce his security detail last autumn because of numerous death threats from ecofascists. The Left’s adversarial attitude toward Pruitt is better understood when you consider just how pivotal of a role he has in the Trump administration.

The EPA just revealed that Pruitt’s deregulatory endeavor has yielded $1 billion in cost savings after just one year. This was the direct outcome of nearly two dozen deregulations. More importantly, it’s also only a taste of what’s coming down the pipeline. The Clean Power Plan and Clean Water Rule are just two of the 44 additional deregulations that are currently on the agency’s docket. It’s estimated that the elimination of the Clean Power Plan could single-handedly save the economy upwards of $33 billion. With results like these, no wonder leftists loathe Pruitt with such tenacity.
Of course, this also speaks to the enormous influence of Pruitt’s predecessor, Gina McCarthy. Much of the current administration’s work is geared toward fixing what she broke and the billions of dollars with which she unnecessarily burdened the economy. Pruitt’s progress could be even further along had he not had to first put out a massive inferno of McCarthy’s making. Even still, he is making significant headway, and that will give the economy more and more breathing room. It’s also a reminder that no government agency should ever have so much control over a free-market economy.   ~The Patriot Pos

Ignored By Media: Trump Is Using Obama’s National Emergency On Mexican Cartels To Build The Border Wall

President Trump declared a State of Emergency at the US southern border on Friday.

Declaring the immigration crisis a national emergency was overdue. Presidents have declared national emergencies for nearly 50 years.

Barack Obama declared 13 national emergencies, 11 of which continue to this day. The Obama emergencies included the Swine Flu, Flint water crisis and Iran.

And Obama declared the Mexican drug cartels a national emergency in 2011.

Congress believes President Trump has $21 billion in unobligated military construction funding money available for the border wall with Mexico.

Now this was mostly ignored by the liberal media. President Trump is using Barack Obama’s previous national emergency on Mexican drug cartels to get funding for the border wall.

Via Law and Crime:

As it turns out, back in 2011 then-President Barack Obama issued an executive order “blocking property of transnational criminal organizations organizations.” Obama cited his authority as granted through the Constitution to invoke the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, 50 U.S.C. 1701, and the National Emergencies Act, 50 U.S.C. 1601. The latter is the same legislation that Trump is citing to get funding for the wall to achieve his immigration reform goals. That executive order targeted a number of criminal organizations, including the Mexican Los Zetas cartel, an ally of the MS-13 gang President Trump has regularly called out as a danger to Americans.

“Drugs, gangs and people — an invasion,” Trump said on Friday. “We have an invasion coming into this country.”

Trump all but thanked his predecessor on Friday.

“We may be using one of the national emergencies that [Obama] signed having to do with criminal cartels… it’s a very good national emergency… we’re going to be using parts of it,” he said.
