The President was so anxious to protect his Iran deal and have something he can call a foreign policy legacy, he decided to keep “certain allies under close watch” and topping the watch list was Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. White House officials believed the intercepted information could be valuable to counter Mr. Netanyahu’s campaign. They also recognized that asking for it was politically risky. Democrats think 

Christians bigger threat than Muslims

{wnd.com} ~ A new poll reveals that 45 percent of the Democrats who responded believe that Christians are a greater threat to America than Muslims. No shock that 72 percent of atheists agree... But the surprise is that 18 percent of those who consider themselves ” very conservative” agree. As do 29 percent of Protestants. And 23 percent of Catholics. Interestingly, the sample of Muslims was very small, but 100 percent said it is Muslims who are the greater danger. Poll chief Fritz Wenzel said, “A surprising finding in the survey shows that one in three respondents said they believe Christians pose a greater threat to America than do Muslims. Among Democrats, 45 percent said Christians are more dangerous than are Muslims, while 36 percent of political independents said the same. Hanoi Jane Fonda is still a traitor

Of course, in order to slink away from society and retire to a cave, Fonda would have to leave the fawning press and the liberals who think of her as an icon... It may have happened too long ago to remember what this “Woman of the Century” did to prisoners in North Vietnam’s Hanoi Hilton. But some of us who were there will never forget and never let others forget. Jane Fonda was and is a traitor to this country. Unfortunately, those born in the 70’s and later don’t know and it is a safe bet that our educational system will not mention it. For those who don’t remember or who do not know, the burden that this woman put on our fighting men during Vietnam began the downfall of the American psyche. In some sense we have not recovered from that pivotal moment in our nation’s military history. {nationalreview.com} ~ In July, I used that Peter Pan quote to describe Donald Trump’s impossible Neverland. Yet having digested the nObama administration’s 2015 foreign-policy review and its Twitter hashtag (#2015in5words)... I conclude that the quote is equally applicable to American foreign policy. After all, the administration’s review actually claims that 2015 was a successful year. These successes apparently include establishing diplomatic relations with Cuba (freedom forgotten), defeating transnational Salafi-jihadists “violent extremists” (Parisians might disagree), reaching a deal on an “ensured” peaceful Iran nuclear program (Iran is already cheating without any meaningful response), and “bringing peace, security to Syria.” Welcome to nObama’s Neverland. Unfortunately, this isn’t funny. Because in the real world outside Neverland, international politics are not static. And in 2016, while President Obama thrives in unreality, America’s global adversaries will do the opposite. Assessing nObama’s weakness, they will push hard to extract all they can before another president takes office. In that regard, we should expect three new crises in 2016. One: expect new ISIS attacks against Europe and the United States. Two: expect a skirmish between America’s allies and China in the East and South China Seas. A Year of Great Political Risk

Meanwhile, the Middle East has descended into an even bigger mess than usual, and nobody has any expectation that it’ll improve soon... Vladimir Putin is likely to take chances, seeing a weak U.S. administration in its last year. Japanese debt is increasingly a worry, and could go critical in 2016. Finally, there’s a distinct possibility of a credit crisis, probably in the fall before the U.S. election, the traditional season for them.

Muslims "Have Nothing Whatsoever

{gatestoneinstitute.org} ~ As Muslim jihadis, mobs and regimes terrorized Christians and others throughout the world of Islam, in the West, institutions -- from governments to grade schools -- empowered and praised Islam, often at the expense of Christians... U.S. President Barack nObama described the idea of giving preference to persecuted Christian refugees as "shameful" -- even though helping persecuted refugees is what America has always been doing and much of what it is about. "That's not American. That's not who we are. We don't have religious tests to our compassion," nObama admonished. Unfortunately for the president, statistics were soon released, indicating that "the current refugee system overwhelmingly favors Muslim refugees. Of the 2,184 Syrian refugees admitted to the United States so far, only 53 are Christians while 2,098 are Muslim." So, although Christians are 10% of Syria's population -- and possibly the most persecuted group -- only 2% of the refugees entering America are Christian. Adding to the confusion, Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush falsely claimed that Syrian President Bashar Assad "executes Christians." Overall Deportations Drop in 2015,

{judicialwatch.org} ~ A year after freeing tens of thousands of illegal immigrants convicted of serious crimes, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is distorting annual deportation figures by falsely claiming the number of criminal aliens removed from the U.S. keeps increasing when in fact it’s shrinking drastically... In fiscal year 2015 deportation figures released this week, DHS celebrates that its enforcement efforts prioritize criminals and threats to public safety as well as national security. The agency created after 9/11 to keep the country safe claims the latest stats show “the number of convicted criminals removed from the interior continued to increase.” The reality is that deportations of criminal aliens declined 27% from last year—from 86,923 in 2014 to 63,127 in 2015. This serious discrepancy was exposed by the Washington D.C.-based Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), which further reveals that the number of criminal deportations in fiscal year 2015 is less than half of what it was in 2011.

{theacru.org} ~ This month, President Barack nObama’s defense secretary, Ashton Carter, decreed that there will be 220,000 combat military jobs offered to women—- including in Army special operations forces and the Navy SEALs... He said, “They’ll be allowed to drive tanks, fire mortars and lead infantry soldiers into combat… and everything else that was previously open only to men.” Technological changes since the time of the M60 Patton, embodied in the M1 Abrams tank, mean that a woman can probably drive a tank. But what if track pads or a tank track has to be repaired in the field and under enemy fire? Such repairs pose a significant physical challenge to men, who generally have far greater strength than women. Will our military leaders relieve women from such a task, claiming that demanding equal performance creates a “disparate,” sexually discriminatory impact?

Toner remarked that the Russian actions complicated regime efforts to bring about a “meaningful political negotiated settlement as well as a nationwide ceasefire.” Dishonesty and fabrication are at the black heart of the nObama regime, from the climate hoax to UN global government to their support of the Islamification of the United States and a global caliphate. They are destabilizing Syria and the Middle East in order to position their Islamist operatives into positions of authority. Jessica Vaughn- 10K Illegals In The Pipeline, Numbers Doubling- Simple Policy Change Would Solve Problem

{constitutionrising.com} ~ Neil Cavuto addresses the doubling of the number of border-crashing juveniles being dropped off and left in the custody of the US Border Patrol and inevitably on the dole of the US taxpayers... It’s the problem that has been engineered, specifically created where it didn’t use to exist, by Hussein nObama and his DHS henchman, Secretary Jihadi Jeh Johnson. Noting that at last ten thousand more of these unwelcome intruders are reportedly already en route to the US, Jessica Vaughn, of the Institute for Immigration Studies, is asked to provide insight into just what is going on and what can be done to correct the problem. She notes that they usually end up with friends or family virtually anywhere within the United States, courtesy of the dissemination program of DHS, the “catch, release and lose track of” program. She quotes the Customs and Border Protection statistics that roughly 85% of those crossing and being taken into custody by the CBP are later placed with friends or family members who are already living in the US illegally. Iran deal restricts U.S.

{jewishworldreview.com} ~ Members of Congress knew the Iran nuclear deal came with strings attached. They just didn't know how many.

When the administration presented the agreement to Congress, lawmakers were told that new sanctions on Iran would violate the deal. Now the administration is trying to sidestep a recently passed provision to tighten rules on visas for those who have visited Iran.

Since the accord was struck last summer, the U.S. emphasis on complying with its end of the deal has publicly eclipsed its efforts to pressure Iran. In that time, Iranian authorities have detained two American dual nationals and sentenced a third on what most observers say are trumped up espionage charges. Iran's military has conducted two missile tests, one of which the U.N. said violated sanctions, and engaged in a new offensive with Russia in Syria to shore up the country's dictator, Bashar al- Assad.

In the latest example of the U.S. effort to reassure Iran, the State Department is scrambling to confirm to Iran that it won't enforce new rules that would increase screening of Europeans who have visited Iran and plan to come to America. There is concern the new visa waiver provisions, included in the omnibus budget Congress passed last week, would hinder business people seeking to open up new ventures in Iran once sanctions are lifted.

U.S. officials confirmed over the weekend that Secretary of State John hanoi-Kerry sent his Iranian counterpart, Javad Zarif, a letter promising to use executive powers to waive the new restrictions on those who have visited Iran but are citizens of countries in the Visa Waiver Program. These officials also told us that they have told Iranian diplomats that, because they are not specific to Iran, the new visa waiver provisions do not violate the detailed sequence of steps Iran and other countries committed to taking as part of the agreement. Even so, the State Department is promising to sidestep the new rule.

At issue is a provision that would require travelers who visit certain countries -- including Iran, Sudan, Syria and Iraq -- to apply at a U.S. Embassy for a visa before coming to the U.S., even if they are from a country for which such visas would normally be waived.

House staffers who spoke with us say Iran was included for good reason, because it remains on the U.S. list of state of sponsors of terrorism for its open support for Hezbollah and Hamas. The White House did not object until the Iranian government told the administration last week that the bill would violate the nuclear agreement, according to correspondence on these negotiations shared with us.

Since 2013, when the open negotiations with Iran began, the nObama administration has repeatedly told Congress that additional sanctions on the Islamic Republic would wreck negotiations. The resulting agreement obligates the West to lift sanctions in exchange for more transparency and limitations on Iran's nuclear program. Iran and the White House seem to be interpreting "lift sanctions" more broadly than others expected.

"If the United States Congress cannot implement a more secure visa procedure for those who travel to state sponsors of terrorism like Iran, then the Iran deal ties the hands of lawmakers to a greater extent than even deal critics feared," Mark Dubowitz, the executive director of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and an expert in Iran sanctions, told us.

Over the weekend, Zarif said in an interview with al- Monitor that Iran's inclusion on the list might violate the agreement. Zarif called the new restrictions "absurd" because no one connected to Iran was involved in the attacks in San Bernardino and Paris. He also said the provision "sends a very bad signal to the Iranians that the U.S. is bent on hostile policy toward Iran, no matter what."

The issue is particularly sensitive for the State Department because Iran has yet to implement its side of the deal: The new transparency and limitations on the nuclear program are to begin in the coming weeks. State Department officials have said they fear more hardline elements of the regime in Tehran are trying to scuttle the deal for political advantage over President Hassan Rouhani, whose administration negotiated the accord.

In February, Iran will have parliamentary elections and elections for the powerful Guardian Council, the committee of clerics that would choose the next supreme leader of Iran after Ayatollah Ali Khamenei dies. If anti-deal elements win those elections, the future of the nuclear deal will be dim.

These factors explain why hanoi-Kerry has been willing to overlook Iran's own provocations while trying to mitigate what Iran sees as provocations from the U.S. Congress. They also explain why Iran seems so intent to provoke the U.S. at the moment it's supposed to implement the deal to which it just agreed.
